Beautiful hotel with terrific service!
.
Le Mirador, nestled near the breathtaking town of Montreux, Switzerland, offers an unparalleled luxury experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the impeccable service stood out—the staff was always at our beck and call, eager to accommodate any request with genuine warmth and professionalism. The luxurious accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. Our suite boasted stunning panoramic views of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps, offering a serene retreat that balanced elegance with comfort. The room was meticulously appointed, blending modern sophistication with classic charm, making our stay feel like an escape into pure opulence. A highlight of our visit was the world-class spa, a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. The treatments were sublime, and the tranquil atmosphere allowed us to unwind completely. From the heated pool to the state-of-the-art wellness facilities, every detail of the spa experience was thoughtfully designed to offer the ultimate indulgence. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a three-course tasting menu at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant. Each dish was a masterpiece, combining the finest ingredients with exceptional culinary expertise. The flavors were rich and inventive, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. Le Mirador offers the epitome of luxury, combining breathtaking surroundings, impeccable service, and world-class amenities. It is a destination that provides a truly unforgettable experience!
Incredible views and helpful staff. Decor is a tad dated and a bit inconvenient to get to from town, but lovely place to stay.
I can only rave about how amazing this property is. The rooms, the amenities, the staff, it was impeccable from start to finish. Not only were my needs met, they were anticipated and exceeded. The spa was fantastic, the food exceptional, and the staff truly excited to ensure a great experience. I originally may have thought the price was a bit high, but believe me it is worth every Franc! Cannot wait to stay here again, the best hotel!
Great Stay!
The view from the balcony is to die for. Great service and friendly concierge. Classic and beautiful hotel. Only thing is that i wish there are more options for dining but not a big deal!
One of my best parts in my long trip is this Hotel .. will be back
All was good
Amazing little find, lovely property with great views. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, would definitely stay again and recommend to any one.
Beautiful views and great service!
Amazing hotel with great views of the lake. Easy to get to without having to get a cab. Friendly staff. Couldn't want for anything during my stay
Beautiful hotel . A little out of town but transport options were fine and even quite fun. Really enjoyed my stay
Fantastic view and great service!
Is this heaven?
We stopped here on our way to Italy from Paris. Of the 6 different cities we visited, this was my husband and son's favorite. The view is just breathtaking from all areas of the hotel. The staff was very polite and professional. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. The room was very nice and roomy and had a large balcony. We went into town (very easy to get around) and we literally were asking ourselves if we were in heaven. It's hard to describe; it was the epitome of relaxation. There were people all along the shore visiting, swimming, walking, but it wasn't crowded or loud. There were a lot of little places to get coffee or ice cream or a bite to eat. We walked a long way around the shore. We definitely want to come back and explore more of Switzerland!
Exceptional in every way from amenities, location, view and cleanliness. The housekeeping and turndown service was the best we’ve ever experienced. With a deep clean everyday. If you’re considering this place, don’t hesitate! We stayed here along with two other hotels for a road trip across Switzerland and honestly wished we stayed here the full trip. Nothing compared. Keep it up and well done to everyone that works there that keeps it so exceptional. The staff all say hi and are really considerate with their guests. Book and enjoy!
Great hotel with amazing view Junior Suite are amazing with big terrace and outstanding view on the lake Very friendly staff and great restaurant (we tried le Patio) I recommend and would stay again with no hesitation
Amazing stay, very courteous staff. The hotel has a beautiful view of the lake. Serendipity!!
Wife and I went to celebrate our 10y anniversary. Amazing views from every corner of the property. We truly had a wonderful time! Very friendly and hospitable staff. Fondue at the Gondola is a must! Pool and spa is very well maintained, and the views from the pool are breathtaking. Will defn go back and do recommend to all.
The hotel were very accommodating. They upgraded our room to a Junior suite. And we had a bottle of red wine (Grenache) from their vineyard on the house. Which was a very good wine. Also by chance the pool and spa was closed for maintenance on the days we were there. However they were very nice and let me use the sauna and steam room in the private spa that couples can book.
Marvelous property and exceptional service. View of town simply stunning. Highly recommend staying there.
Great place for relaxing and having good time eith your partner
The most relaxing and well cared for vacation was spent at Le Mirador. The suite was spacious with gorgeous mountain and lake views; staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly; meals were fantastic! Will come back!
Breathtaking scenery and very friendly staff. Very child-friendly attitude. Thank you to the hotel staff for the wonderful weekend!
Superb
This place is our favourite, we have been twice and will go again next time in Switzerland
I like the view, people are so friendly. The room was cleaned very well, and the best part no extra charges on the good beverages. Definably we will like to come back on my next vacations to Switzerland. :-)
Check in was delayed for more than an hour, so we had to change rooms even though we didn't arrive until 1.30.
Jorge was the best concierge!
The view is amazing day and night with 2 balconies staying in a suite. The minor improvement will be increase the water pressure of the shower.
A view to die for
Spectacular views from our huge balcony. Lovely rooms. Food, wine and service was nothing short outstanding at Le Patio.
Amazing and unique view. Large rooms . Gym and spa
I loved the views, but they need to clear the view particularly 0 level
Last minute solo stay
Gorgeous views and excellent meal and service at The Patio restaurant. Sometimes this doesn't go well for a solo diner, but The Patio placed me at a lake front table despite it. My waiter was fantastic and the food was some of the most flavorful I've had in Switzerland. Hodge podge of architecture, and while not usually one for 'historic' stays, as some of the common areas feel like a step back in time, but the room was exceptionally clean and was more traditional modern as compared to the blast from the past I was expecting. Pleasantly surprised from that aspect and would return again for the spa and overnight.
What a bliss!
Amazing long weekend! Really nice getaway! We will definitely come back. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food and good wines. Well equipped gym and very nice spa. Amazing views to the lake.

Amazing view, we were upgraded to junior suite, wonderful meal at the restaurant
Me and my wife spent a weekend in the hotel. Our room was upgraded to "Junior Suite". We were absolutely blown away by the hotel, the room and the location. The level of service was beyond our expectations. The staff incredibly professional and welcoming. This is a place where you have to visit I recommend highly. Surely we will return.
The hotel is beautiful with stunning views and a feeling of being "on top of the world". We were young two couples, and felt very at ease once we arrived. The spa, indoor pool, massages, really encourage you to relax and enjoy the scenery. My friends got a room in the 'modern' side of the building - their room was clearly more contemporary than ours. Nevertheless, our room - although on the 'older' side, still had an AMAZING Jacuzzi and a nice little patio that we could sunbathe in. The attention to detail is felt throughout, my only critique would be towards the quality of the food: for the prize you pay I would have expected excellent cuisine - but its just standard. You really are paying for the view, rather than the food! I would advise to search for nearby restaurants.
Too bad - go there for the view but that‘s it
Completely understaffed. Beautiful view but lack of attention in every aspect.
We had requested a crib for the baby and the hotel acknowledged our request the day before and confirmed that it would be available. On arrival, no crib had been set up and so the staff informed us that they will bring it right away. It took about half hour and another call for it to eventually arrive, and in the meantime, the baby was overtired, hysterical and we ended up having to put him down for a nap in the stroller instead. Otherwise, the views are spectacular, the staff is overall very friendly. We ate at the Japanese restaurant, the service was a bit slow.
Perfect in all components of the hotel: good food and location
Excellent location , excellent facilities we had a really nice stay
The view from the terrace and the room balconies is breathtaking. Walking distance from a cable car that takes you from the mountain to the town below. Restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was very good. Found it a bit odd that the “queen” bed was actually two twin mattresses put together. For a hotel of this caliber, I would expect that they should be able to invest in an actual queen mattress.
absolutely incredible - above and beyond what to expect. beautiful facility and great view. i cannot say enough good things about this place
It is one of the best resort that I have been. The room was excellent and the attention of all personnel was excellent...
I wish we got the room in the new wing of the hotel. The pictures did not match the room we got to stay in. The staff was great.
Exceptional value. While the price may seem high the property, pool, outstanding personal service and view are well worth it. Spoil yourself!
Memorable views and helpful staff made a lovely stay. Lovely spa and good service
Well positioned but not maintained top rate
So struggle between 3 or 4. As many noticed the place has great view. The staff is friendly. However, for the price charged and the appearance the maintenance looks subpar. For example, one of the elevator linking two buildings works like 1 out of 3 days I live there. It appears understaffed.
Beautiful location but not quite 5 star.
Not enough manpower to provide 5 star service. Swimming pool area has no service which is a petty as you can’t even order drinks or food. The hotel itself has great potential and the view is amazing. Rooms are not very well stocked with amenities and no Restaurant is overpriced and not great.
Great Hotel
Fantastic Location and Excellent Staff
Amazing location overlooking Lake Geneva. Great service. Nice Spa.
most beautiful hotel i have ever been to in my life service is super super super
A little dated but still very nice. Some amenities and the beds could be brought in line with the timed
Absolutely loved the view from our room of the lake and mountains. Its also easy to travel by public transport from this location as there is a cable car just 2 minites wakk that take you down the mountain and connects with the buses in Vevey. The room service menu is also very good and there is lots of variety for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful view - great room
Hotel was excellent but food selection very limited and expensive.
Amazing property and staff! Will be coming back soon!
One of the most BEAUTIFUL hotels we have stayed at. The video does not do it justice. A MUST STAY. We will be returning, highly recommended.
Beauty, super service, great food, and views!
We had the most wonderful weekend at Le Mirador, celebrating a birthday in style. The views are breathtaking, the staff great, the rooms very comfortable, and the food in Le Patio delicious. The spa is great, and mixes relaxation and amazing scenery. Highly recommend for special occasions when you want to spoil yourself.
Amazing view. Great Japanese restaurant. Gym outstanding. Service the very best. Will return.
Absolutely loved it ! Stunning view over the lake, amazing facilities and fantastic staff.
Great relaxing moment's
The hotel management care about the all details to make my holiday comfortable and pleasant. My special thanks to the great team and the management for such great experience. I have only one comment for the management to consider speciality coffee and desert instead of Nesperiaso.
Wonderful views and staff very friendly. Will definitely return
Amazing views
We stayed for 9 days in a Junior Suite with a 7 year old boy on a fold out bed. Lovely room.
Excellent hotel, staff are very cooperative. Needs to organize more activities
The staff were all very professional and helpful ! The view is truly 'world class' Great rooms. There was a problem with the wifi failing in my room during my stay. The hotel immediately upgraded me to another room to avoid any delays in resolving the technical issues with the wifi. Awesome service.
Le Mirador
Excellent stay. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Japanese Restaurant was a bit meh. I anticipated better quality food for the standard of the hotel. Room service and the other restaurant were fantastic!!
Great sinery but poor services
The sinery from the hotel and the hotel room was great. That is the highest value of this hotel. But, their service quality does not meet the 5 star hotel level. The room wifi did not work for the half of our stay, the wrong delivery of meal at the Japanese restaurant, the wrong list of invoice at the same restaurant, slow response to the request of electrical kettle delivery, strict control of sitting place at Breakfast terrrace even though nearly empty, considering the remarkably high prices we paid. It is enough for stay there once.
Very nice place. The views are impressive. Dinner at the patio restaurant was great.
Great room, great views, great food (except for the room service pizza, pass on that)!
Incredible
Le Mirador absolutely Amazing!!! This was the perfect spot for our Anniversary. You literally cannot find a more stunning view than from Le Mirador. Floor to ceiling windows lined the hotel so no matter where you are you have a Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The location was great (secluded and quiet, but 100 yards to cable car down into town). The rooftop terrace had incredible views for breakfast, drinks, dinner or to lounge by the pool. Dinner and the local wine were delicious. Our room was gorgeous and we had a private balcony to enjoy the views. The staff was great. We were greeted with a cold towel and refreshing drink upon check in. I highly recommend this hotel - we will be coming back and will stay here again.
Amazing location but experience could be improved
The Hotel is wonderful and has been fully renovated. The views are stunning and our junior suite was very nice and spacious with an amazing terrace! The staff at the front desk (especially the French gentleman who used to work in South Africa... sorry I wish I would have taken down your name!) was the most professional, polite and nice person at the hotel!! It seems like the Mirador is still searching for their more permanent staff as they seem to have many students or junior staff which were actually the better ones in terms of service... I would expect better service (and quicker) in the public areas like the pool terrace so that we are offered refreshments without having to call room service. Same for arranging towels on lounge chairs etc... Sorry for being picky but this is what is expected in terms of pampering and experience of a 5 star Swiss resort!
Great Hotel
Great hotel with breathtaking views. The views will always have you come back to this hotel Food was excellent. The maintenance of the hotel is not that great. Technical issues in the rooms that can be sorted. Overall lovely hotel, and I will be back. Best fitness center and pool area ever!!!
Superb and accommodating staff. Always smiling and ready to assist. Can't wait to go back and relax and soak in one of the views in the world.
The Best hotel on Geneva lake
Wonderful hotel in a stunning location!
Loved the hotel and the staff were super! Apart from the young waiter in the sushi restaurant! He was unfriendly and a little sarcastic! The drinks he got us from the bar were less than perfect and extremely expensive! However we did not let this take away from our overall experience and would definitely return! Hopefully that young waiter will have learnt better manners by then!
Phonomanal! Breath taking views! The best of the best!
Gorgeous hotel
Brilliant!
Excellent couple retreat
My fiancé and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Le Mirador. I arranged plans to have our proposal at the resort and concierge was more than willing to go out of their way to help out. The views are outstanding and the amenities are excellent.
A trip to remember
From the time i walked in to the hotel till the time i left, everything was implacable. The balconey was by its self a pleasure. The breakfast was nice and the area was impressive.
Services need to be improved
Breathtaking view and nice rooms. However, the services need to be improved. The services do not match the 5 star but services at 3 star hotels.
Take a packed lunch and don't complain!
The local area and views are absolutely stunning! We were happy with our room and the view of the lake; clean, a good size and the terrace allowed a view of the sunrise, mountains and the lake. Gym facilities and the pool were good. The food is a major let down. A 5* hotel serving cold food that is meant to be hot, over cooked pasta, and generally disappointing dishes, does not to me deserve to be called 5*. I cannot actually provide any positives about the food we ate. We cancelled our dinner in the restaurant and actually left the hotel a night early, leaving a hole in our pocket, but this was better than waking up starving! The staff - while the waiting staff tried their best, there are simply not enough of them. So service is slow, and they seemed pretty embarrassed by the quality of the food they were serving and the speed that it took. We complained to the manager, who could not understand how we could fault anything served in the hotel - it must be our palettes that are not accustomed to quality food than her kitchen! The manager rudely told us no one else had complained about the food - having since left the hotel and read reviews, I know we are not alone! Cold scrambled eggs at 6am to me doesn't scream a kitchen that knows what they are doing! We would not return - the terrible food stopped us from relaxing and enjoying the stay. We are sure that the local area has lots to offer - but that was not the relaxing trip we had planned.
Amazing views and room. Only so- so menu and restaurant.
I'd visit again
nice room, terrace with spectacular view, perfect place to take a rest
Le Mirador
Amazing views from the hotel
Delightful retreat.
Gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. Bucolic setting. Comfortable accommodations. Attentive, experienced staff.
Incredible view from the room. Wonderful pool and gym.
Good facilities very good breakfast. Great positio
Cuisine and menu choices not up to standard for such a hotel, very restricted and ordinary
the stafe in the reciption very bad
very bad treatment this is first time i faced like this treatment
An absolutely wonderful, magical place.
Upon arrival at the hotel the reception staff were welcoming and this made for a lovely entrance to our break away. The team members were wonderfully helpful throughout our stay and really strived to make us have a special experience within the hotel. The restaurant staff were equally good and really went the extra mile to make our time eating very special.
Great view to the lake, some perks
The hotel has a great view to the lake, actually an amazing view, the hotel is fine but in my room the tv control didn't work and has to be changed, one lamp was broken and the in room dinner wasn't that good. But the view is worth it!!
Fabulous location, view and facility
In addition to its outstanding location and environment, the hotel overlooks the Lake Geneva, lakeside towns and the snow mountains at the back. A very good place to have holiday and a car tour near Lousanne.
Very satisfied
This is truly a five star hotel. The facilities are great and the staff is very helpful. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very good. I went to the spa for a massage and was very pleased. The hotel is on a hill overlooking Lake Geneva and the rooms have a beautiful view. You will need a GPS to find the hotel.
Great facilities and hotel. Lacks atmosphere.
Can't fault standard of hotel, that's why you pay for it. Lacks atmosphere and not set up for young families. Think they are there to impress people with a bit of money. We turned up with rucksacks via public transport, so looked and felt out of place.. Wanted dinner before 7pm, but the restaurant was not open. We were to use the Piano bar and it's menu. Very good quality meal, but the Piano bar is not set up for eating. Small tables that the plates could barely fit on. Again, we felt out of place as no one else was eating here. The children's limited choice was to come with ice cream dessert. When we asked for this we were informed that this is not always the case as it depends on how the waiter ordered it!? I suppose we should have contested it further as the menu clearly stated it does.
An excellent hotel with room for improvement
I stayed at the Mirador last week and I can say for its service, comfort, leisure activities and location this hotel should not disappoint The views over Lake Geneva towards the Alps from the many terraces available were amazing. The breakfast offers an excellent choice of both healthy and high quality usual breakfast items with a chef available to cook your personal choice of hot food. The only weakness was the other hotel food options which were limited in choice both in the bar area and the main restaurant and poor value and service at breakfast and in the bar was patchy To charge for parking was unnecessary for such a hotel Overall a very good hotel but it is expensive
The best hotel on lake geneva
one of the best hotels anywhere, perfect service, great cleanliness, incredible facilities, extraordinarily great food
Memorable again
This was our second visit to the Mirador and again did not disappoint. How could it with such a spectacular view high over Lake Geneva! We had a warm champagne welcome from Lydia who showed us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that breakfast was included, as the website said it was not. The staff in the restaurant were courteous and attentive and have to be applauded for the manner in which they handled a large group of rather rude, obnoxious and loud guests at the breakfasts. Also some of their group were disruptive to guests in their rooms and so were moved thankfully. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and although a taxi ride away, were delighted with the Hotel Victoria above Montreaux. On a constructive note, water in the room is provided initially and would be a nice courtesy on a daily basis.
casual mountain vhic
we liked the new wing we stayed in. The bar with crying children in strollers at 8 pm wad a bit odd. We expected a nice formal bar and restaurant but everything was very casual. The tooms are nice (the new ones that is) The rest of the hotel is grtying tiered.
World class hotel
Stunning location, great hotel

The view was amazing
