Tiny tiny hotel, but amazing location and wonderful staff.
Nice hotel
Lovely boutique hotel near Tricadero
Very friendly. Helpful and professional staff, especially Jacinto and Ramon.
Excellent service, walking distance to Eiffel tower
Poor service
We paid big money for the Eiffel Tower suite and received a welcoming champagne bottle and letter from the General Manager, Marina Goyheneche. Unfortunately, the MAJORITY of amenities in this room were broken. The bathtub did not properly drain, nor did it fill up whatsoever; after complaining to the front desk via phone, we were told that they couldn't do anything about it and that they were well aware of the broken tub but that there wasn't anything they could do. The television had a huge dent and was utterly broken as well; again, we were told the same thing, they were aware, and there was nothing they could do about it. We spoke to the general manager upon checkout and were told that they were sorry for the broken amenities, which negatively impacted our stay in the top-floor Eiffel Tower Suite; however, there was nothing they could do about it. To say this was disappointing is an understatement. Yes, the view was phenomenal, but given these guys are charging a similar price to the Shangri-La with an even better view and renowned reputation for service, for The Eiffel Tower Suite, our stay in the suite was not all that we dreamed it would be. The manager either needs to work with better maintenance staff to fix these recurring issues right away, or she may need a replacement altogether for more effective and efficient staff. Not to take it to replace staff, but given how expensive the suite was, we were kicking ourselves for not noticing the broken amenities and the stai
Very dirty bathroom.
My recent stay at Le Metropolitan Paris was an absolute nightmare, largely due to the appalling state of the hotel shower and bathtub. I had high hopes for a comfortable and pleasant stay, but unfortunately, those hopes were shattered the moment I stepped into the bathroom. To put it bluntly, the cleanliness of the shower was absolutely abysmal. The walls were covered in mold and mildew, with grime accumulating in the corners and crevices. The matble had a slimy texture, indicating a complete lack of proper cleaning. It was clear that no effort had been made to maintain even a minimum level of hygiene. The showerhead was equally disgusting. It was clogged with limescale and mold, making it impossible to have a satisfactory showering experience. I couldn't help but feel a sense of disgust throughout my entire time in the bathroom. I immediately reported the issue to the hotel staff and hotels.com hoping for a quick resolution. However, their response was far from satisfactory. The uncleanliness of the hotel shower and bathtub not only ruined my stay but also raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene and maintenance standards of the establishment. A dirty shower is not only uninviting but also poses health risks to guests. Hotels.com does not let me to post the disgunting photos...
Smallest room ever
Tiny room. Much smaller than specs in superior room description.
Amazing stay!
The front desk attendant was awesome. The woman that helped us spoke Arabic and was amazing. She is a gem and really good at her job! Breakfast attendants were great too. Room small but actually big for Paris. Location amazing!
The hotel is located in an excellent area at place de mexico, surrounded by restaurants and very close to other nice areas. Everything is walking distance. The room was ok, the breakfast was good and the waiter at the resto was helpful and kind. In the room the safe was not working as well as the phone. The reception was informed, yet they didn't do anything about it. That was pretty disappointing. All in all it is pretty much overpriced given the services.
Great central location, super friendly staff. Definitely will stay there again.
Excellent location, impeccable service
We visited for 8 days. I arranged a surprise for my wife and the hotel was very helpful in arranging. In addition, they met all my requests such as posting mail. Very pleased with stay. Amazing concierge.
Friendly staffs, will come back.
Small room and good hotel
Room was small, but the concierge is really responsive
Excellent spot for a getaway
We really enjoyed this hotel and enjoyed a great weekend in Paris. The staff, service and cleanliness we excellent. The room was a bit small but the bathroom was a nice size.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The room was a good size with an excellent closet. I didnt think I would use the pool, but had a wonderful and rejuvenating swim and sauna after a long day wandering the streets of Paris.
We stayed at the Eiffel suit, the view was great! However, the hotel never disclosed that there was a obstruction on the Eiffel view by construction work in another building. The view was still great and I realized that is beyond the hotel control, but considering that only reason someone stays in that specific suit is for the advertised view, the obstruction should had been mentioned during the booking. The hotel staff was very friendly. However, don’t expect anyone assisting you with bringing luggages in and out of the hotel, there is not a bellman service only front desk staff. You have to open the door and take luggage in and out the taxi on your own. The front desk did assist bringing them up to the suit as the elevator is very small and we had 5 pieces of luggages. We had breakfast service and It was fast and delicious! I highly recommend doing that. The room was very spacious, specially for a Paris hotel room. What I found very strange was that there is no a sink to wash your hands after using toilet, basically you have to go all of way around the room into the totally separate bathroom area to wash your hands after using the toilet, this was a bit awkward. Lastly I thought the room lacked of details in the decor. For example there is only one small mirror in the entire suit. It is a hustle to get ready if there is more than one person getting ready at the same time. My husband and I had to do turns to get ready for dinners etc. They should definitely consider to add
The receptionist’s handling attitude was very bad. We responded to the cleaning problem and there were fleas in the room. The receptionist didn't seem to care! Ask me if it is a mosquito bite? I don't believe there will be mosquitoes in Paris!
Beautiful hotel!
Great hotel. I cant wait to go back!
The WORST experience in my life. Room: so-so; staff with poor English and an incredible bad Spanish. The card to enter into the rooms were not working many times and I had to go the lobby to reprogramm them at least 12 times (really!). My room had an electric problem and I was moved to another one that where a big spider received me, lot of noise during the night, and the lift was not working the first day...Really, the worst experience of my life.
Staff is very accommodating especially Madame Karina. We stayed in the Eiffel Suite and it was lovely. One problem is that the room was very cold. Our thermostat and the heater they provided wasn't working. Other than that, it was really lovely. The view of the Eiffel tower is really breathtaking.
Honestly everything I could ever ask for. The view itself makes the whole trip so worthwhile. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to the metro and to the Eiffel Tower. I will look to visit again in the future
A really neat boutique hotel in the XVIth of Paris. I only stayed one night ahead of a business meeting; but I want to come again. Superb staff, wonderful rooms decorated with style, ... a free loaner smartphone ( great if your Phone plan does not apply to France, which is my case). A real gem in Paris! And the restaurant is really excellent...
The staff are really wonderful and friendly, also this hotel is walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. The pool is really warm which we loved. And its indoors. We really enjoyed our stay here.
6 stars
Amazing view. Clean and spacious room. You get your money’s worth. The breakfast was simple but still authentic French breakfast can never go wrong.
Very happy, thank you to all of the very accommodating staff and for one or two nice surprises upon arrival. I look forward to coming back to this beautiful hotel again!
The Eiffel Tower room was very spacious and clean, just as the pictures shown. The view was also very lovely.
We booked the suit on the 6th floor with the view of the tower. Room was amazing , view was incredible. The staff treated us first class and provided us with complimentary champagne . They were also extremely helpful guiding us through the city and getting us a list of things to do..... next time I’m in Paris I’ll be back here for sure!!
Nice hotel to stay in Paris, for a good price. Recommend getting a suite with Eiffel Tower view!
This hotel is beautiful and is so central to the Eiffel Tower, and the train station. You can catch two trains very easily to Paris Disneyland. staff are every welcoming and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and you receive lovely macaroons on arriva. Only issue is that the classi rooms are small you can literally only walk around the bed. Not a lot of space but we still loved the hotel would go back just book a bigger room.
Great location
Cosy Chic hotel. Great service. International clientele. Small modern style rooms.
Amazing!!
We arrived early so couldn't check in but were able to leave our bags. We were given travel guides which were really helpful. When we got to the room it was lovely. It was clean, we had an Eiffel view which was good apart from the rain and the bed was so comfy we could have stayed in it all day.
Overpriced and underwhelming
We had a tiny and uncomfortable room. Lounge is also less than comfortable. Staff is helpful. Location is great. Way, way overpriced.
Lovely hotel, excellent friendly and helpful staff
Myself and my partner loved our stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, lovely views and very close to amenities and the Eiffel Tower.
Nice hotel
One important is the cell phone provide by the hotel Map and direction with Paris wifi Excellent!!!
Excellent hotel with friendly staff
We arrived late after a long drive from Cherbourg. The reception staff were welcoming and considerate. Our suite looked towards the Eiffel Tower and was very comfortable (although the position of the bed was not very convenient). Continental breakfast was simple but of very good quality. I would thoroughly recommend Le Metropolitan.
Not great - paid an extra £15 for a breakfast rate to find out that the breakfast was for a couple pastries and a coffee !! Very disappointing.
Excellent location
This hotel was perfect location lovely and clean an helpful staff was a little disappointed that Deluxe room was so small but otherwise nothing to say negitive
Everything ok good but we lost iPhone charge in room. I told receptionist but they do nothing.
Fantastic location, trendy hotel
We had been to Paris quite a number of times, however it was our first time staying in the Trocadero area. The price is very well justified for the convenient location - just about 5 mins' walk to Trocadero station with restaurants along the way, and if you walk the other way you will then find another busy area with restaurants, cafes and shops. There is also a small shopping mall literally 1 min walk from the hotel with a big supermarket and some small shops and cafe's, really really handy. My only comment is, while I didn't mind the small room, the setup of the room could have been better. E.g. there was very little storage area in the bathroom - meaning we had to pile our towels on top of one another, use sink when applying makeup etc. The only storage area was under the sink which was quite inconvenient and there was also one double-hook for the towel which did not seem to hold much. Most of the staff were helpful, especially a gentleman wearing glasses at the reception who, along with the restaurant staff, tried to find us a lighter as we wanted to go out and celebrate a birthday with a cake. There was however one lady at the reception who was quite rude and unhelpful when we asked the same query to her (before we came across the helpful gentleman and the restaurant staff) - she did not answer our query and pretty much told us to go ask someone else, which was really unappreciated. Apart from that, I'll go back to the hotel.
Perfect option for Paris
Fantastic experience !!
The hotel is close to good shopping areas.
When I arrived I was asked to give my credit card, the price quoted on internet apparently was not their price per night, they added £100 for extras just in case I would leave without paying" charming" the wifi key to the bedroom did not work and every night i.e 2 nights I had to go down to reception to have it reactivated, bedroom on 5th floor !!! Manageress most unpleasant and I will not stay again in this hotel!!! Breakfast €30 for basics, a joke !!!!
Very good hotel friendly staff and excellent
Great hotel bit of confusion on check in !! Resolved the situation quickly staff member very good English excellent felt a little impersonal at times with the phone going and other residents asking receptionist when dealing with me and also on checking out they need they need to solve there reception area when greeting hotel reservations apart from that I felt the hotel was great pleasant dnd helpful and freindly !! And it had a lot of ambiance and comfort definitely recommend it !!
Two day city break
Perfect location, compact luxury rooms, great view of Eiffel tour especially at night. Shame restaurant is closed on Sunday's as we arrived late and would have dined in for ease.
Great stay. Noisy room due to being situated next to some sort of heating system - but otherwise lovely
Hotel close to shopping and touristic area
Most of the staff are helpful and excellent, checking in and checking out was good and smooth
Got the Junior Suite which was a good size, otherwise the std room would have been too small for my taste. The location is perfect...the drawback is that there is no real lobby to hang out.
Great stagf
Front desk people very friendly and courageous. Always willing to help and advice regarding activities in Paris. Restaurant people, very friendly. Breakfast is simply ok. Valet parking good service. I'll see guys back in summer.
Ok, but doesn't live up to Blu name
Honestly I was very disappointed in this ably. I have stayed at others and this one did not live up to the name. 1. There wasn't much in the immediate neighborhood in terms of food. It was always a bit of a walk. At other hotels in Paris there always seems to be something close. 2. The hallway smelled of smoke all the time. I don't know if this was a guest or not, but I did not like it. 3. I was taken back a little with the distance to its most significant landmark, the Eiffel Tower. The location reads like it is right on top of it, but it was more than a mile away. I wouldn't say to stay away, but I have stayed in a lot of better hotels in Paris.
Not this hotel
Despite my deluxe room reservation (king bed) I got a very small room, and a small bed too. Unacceptable.
Best View of Eiffel Tower in Paris
They place was close ot everything we wanted to see as well as shop at. One little glitch was that the shower leaked somewhat onto the bathroom floor. Staff was attentive and very knowledgeable. Intend to stay there again in the future.
Upmarket and very close to Eiffel Tower
Excellent staff, excellent food, close to Eiffel Tower, we had a deluxe room which was big enough for me to get round in my wheelchair and had a roll in shower, without a shower seat but organised my own equipment to be there. Company called G7 taxis in Paris had specific wheelchair accessible cars which is very useful to know, which the hotel reception ordered for us with no bother at all. Worth the money spent in every aspect of the stay.
My stay at the hotel has been very pleasant. Staff have performed at the highest standards and have been most helpful with information about the area. Location is minutes from restaurants, shopping, metro and the Eiffel Tower. Highly recommended!
A total oasis!
We had experienced a terrible journey between London Victoria station and Heathrow Airport. It was raining when we arrived in Paris, but when we entered the hotel the troubles of the day melted away! The hotel was a total oasis and we felt relaxed straight away. The location was perfect and only a 5 minute walk from the Trocedero tube station in a quiet, safe area. We couldn't believe how close the Eiffel Tower was, with an excellent view of it from our room balcony and outside the front entrance. The rooms were a reasonable size and very stylish, with good quality linen. It was so wonderful to sink between lovely cotton sheets on a very comfortable bed. The hotel served a good breakfast with friendly, cheerful service. My grandsons also enjoyed their swim in the pool. I would certainly enjoy staying in this hotel again.
Excellent location. Great aesthetics. Nice staff.
Really nice hotel, small but contemporary room. Decent views from balcony. Cleaned frequently. Staff really friendly. Location ideal. Surrounding areas wonderful. Overall no complaints save perhaps for a little more room being desirable. Great job guys.
Good location.
Very nice stay. Staff very helpful. Great location. We arrived late and not really a room service menu, so we were unable to get anything satisfactory to eat. Also, they could not accommodate a late check out, which was a little inconvenient as we were not flying until 2100 - but guess that could happen anywhere.
Bathrooms could use a paint job. Great Comfortable Bed. Nice wooden floors in the bedroom Elevator was very small.
Wonderful Hotel
Super clean, great service, wonderful pool to swim laps and a jet to swim against if needed. Great Hamam/Steam Room. Staff went above and beyond. We extended our stay 2 more days and hotel was busy but staff made it easy to stay longer. Great restaurant in the hotel, great wine selection, perfect location, views of ETower from a lot of rooms. Shopping and restaurants in the area are superb.
good
good
place mexico
i like the hotel and the staff, great all around. however a number of area are clearly under repair..the pool is half decent..but a great pool..hard top find in Paris.. room are very small..
Great hotel
Great hotel, walking distance to Eiffel tower. Great view of Eiffel tower from my private suite. Highly recommended
Great staff and brilliant location
We couldn't be happier with the location of this hotel, especially for the price. Staff were great and went above and beyond to improve our stay. Our room looked a little tired, but nothing to complain about.
Nice Hotel
Great room with a view of the Eiffel Tower! Very comfortable, good location 10 min from Metro
Christmas Getaway!
A perfect boutique hotel in the 16th arrondissement - short walk to the Eiffel Tower & shopping on Victor Hugo. Staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful! Will definitely return to this lovely hotel!
excellent hotel, with perfect position
the junior suite, were very good size, and comfertable, although we were not on thr iffel towe side. the english breakfast was excellent. overall we recommend this nice hotel strongly
Lovely hotel- felt like home.
Excellent location; staff very friendly and helpful; easy to get to all tourist sites; restaurant lovely food- although I arrived late they kept the restaurant open to serve me. I felt very comfortable there , like it was my own home: I thoroughly recommend it.
Room too small
Only one of us could change at a time. The closet was in front of the bed and there is no extr room. Paid $270 per night.
Reliable hotel
The location was perfectly suited for the Palais de Congres easily accessible for the first timer. Like most rooms in Paris, my double room was on the smaller side but had all the amenities required for my three night stay.
Good location, tiny accommodations
The hotel was in a good location, but like many other hotels in Paris, it was very expensive for what you get in return. If you're forced to go to Paris, which I don't recommend the city, this hotel wouldn't be a bad choice to stay. Nicolas at the front desk is very attentive and quick to help. The staff at the restaurant and bar were less than helpful as we were turned away twice due to lack of other patrons. Overall, don't go to Paris. But if you do, this hotel would be ok to stay.
What a view...
Rooms were small but nice. Great view if the Eiffel Tower and good little cafés and restaurants nearby. Staff was immensely helpful during our stay...
Not worth the money
I chose this hotel because it was the only one in the middle of Paris with a swimming pool and that was still affordable. Yet access to the pool is 20 euros per day. On top of that, the room was small. The bathroom did not have anything to hang towels. The bathtub did not keep its water. The breakfast was too expensive. The staff were nice though but that should not be the only positive for a hotel of that standing. So I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
constant elevator noise day and night
ok, good location, cant escape the elevator noise all the time
Quality Radisson property, just tiny rooms!
Nice hotel by all accounts. A little off the beaten track in terms of location but always good to try a new area of Paris. Tiny rooms. Perhaps not by Paris averages, but tiny rooms.
Good location but style over comfort.
This is the second Radisson Blu hotel we have stayed in,the previous being in Rome. While the Hotel staff were excellent in Paris and the location ideal, the design of the rooms in both hotels was a case of style over comfort and practicality
Nice hotel
Nice hotel let down by extortionate breakfast pricing 20 euro for a fruit juice and basket of bread - no thank you. Evening meal - no thank you at those prices! Nice Italian around the corner and supermarket for breakfast but it shouldn't be like this!!!
Nice enough immediately at Trocadero
The hotel was nice enough - perfect for a base in Paris. It's just a short block away from Trocadero and the subway. The rooms were tiny - just large enough for a double bed. The staff were friendly and unimposing. All in all an expensive hotel with nothing much to offer.
Brilliant Staff, Poor Facilities
The Hotel staff were fantastic; always greeted happily by employees. The only downfall to the hotel was the pool; whilst it stated that the pool was 28.5 degrees upon testing it must only have been about 20 degrees. We spent half an hour slowly edging into it trying to lower our body temperatures to make it more appeasing however it was just so cold that we could not manage it. Other than that the stay was thoroughly enjoyable.
Perfect for Couples and family's
Perfect central clean lovely pool amazing helpful staff probably best we ever have come across, will Definitely stay here again when in Paris.
Wonderful Hotel near the Eiffel Tower
We enjoyed staying at the Radisson as its proximity to the tower and other sights was great! The rooms are small but that is to be expected in Europe. The bathroom was great as it was updated and clean. The front desk staff was always very helpful and pleasant. The bar was a nice area to have a drink at the end of the day to relax. We would stay here again!
Excellent Restaurant
On check in i was provided a lovely room with a view to the Eiffel Tower. Comfortable rooms although needed some repair in terms of shower door. The most remarkable was the excellent food at the in house restaurant. Although on the stepper side in terms of pricing, its well worth the price.
Location location location
Fantastic location, 5 minutes walk from Metro, 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. Staff very efficient and friendly. Room finished to a high spec, bed very comfortable and shower lovely! Very quiet at night so we slept very well.
Not good for business travelers
Very small room with no work space for business travelers. Great location close to the Eiffel Tower and restaurants. Very expensive, not a great value. Next time I will search for a more business conducive hotel.
Great staff, great location
Rooms are European (small) but very adequate and clean. Location is fabulous - you view the Tower from the front door and best part of all was the staff. Never had more helpful staff that truly tried to help you and they didn't have their hand out at every turn. Would definitely go back.
Very romantic
The hotel staff is amazing and so helpful! Great location, and amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.
Great hotel, stayed for a short stay and was ideal
We arrived early and were able to still check in which was perfect. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the area and close heart of Paris. We booked a twin room but when we got there it was made up as a double, took a couple of attempts to get this changed but was done before bed time! The bathroom can be overlooked by the opposite buildings as there is only a thin gauze over the window. However it's great location, friendly and helpful staff and high standard of upkeep meant this was a perfect hotel for our stay in Paris. Would go back again!
Stay Away
Standard room is very very small, I had to upgrade to a bigger room and pay extra. A/C was not working in the first 2 days then they fixed it. Bed is not comfortable. position of the hotel ----- The tower is not as close to the hotel as it looks. Away from all other attractions that paris can offer. I will definitly stay away from that hotel in my next trip to paris.
Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan is a gem!
The Radisson Blu in the beautiful Trocadero District is a gem! The hotel was clean and the staff wonderful. Within a 3 minute walk from the hotel, there is a lovely grocery store, a small indoor mall and quite a few cheese and poultry stores. A huge plus, the Eiffel Tower is just a few blocks away! Be sure when booking at this hotel to ask for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower!
Great for spending time at the tower at night.
Great hotel. A 4+ by normal Parisian strandards. Trocadera Metro is a long block (really about three). Makes the Tower real close for a blanket and bottle of wine in the parks around the tower. Hotel staff is on the spot.
Great hotel and a very good location
Friendly staff who all speak English, making it very easy to communicate with them. They also give you alot of information about the city. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, with an iPod dock so you can play your own music. It is located very close to the Eiffel towers and very close to an excellent restaurant called Stella.
Perfect place to stay in Paris
The hotel is located just a few blocks from the eiffel tower, close to several metro stations and rental bikes are across the street. Perfect location!!! Rooms are small but are well decorated and really clean. The beds are awesome. The bathrooms are new with top of the line fixtures and amenities. Friendly staff. We were lookinng for a hotel in st. Germain or champs elysees but prices were much higher and hotels are not this good. We hesitated about the location first but we are really happy that we ended up at the radisson. It wasthe perfect end to our honey moon. Definitely recommend it!!!!!
Perfection
I had the best experience in Paris and the hotel was the main highlight. The location is unbeatable and the place is immaculate...I would definetely go back and stay here again. Thanks for taking care of us.
Frequent travelers ideal
We booked last minute, the Swedish gentleman booked us in with greatest of ease although booking only made less then hour before at about 18h00. 5 Minute wait for room check and all good. 300 m from Trocadero, great viewing across the Seine at the Eifel Tower. Trocadero has Bistro's a plenty. Rooms excellent, bit small but all needed there. Great bathroom, all comfort. Restaurant and bar on site although it was empty on the Sunday night we were there but looked attractive. They locked our luggage free of charge and organized car to airport. One of the better one we stayed at in Paris. Thank you guys. We are 100 nights + per annum guests. Dany
Hotel at the Trocadero area
Excellent area, close to two Metro entances, the Vitor Hugo & the Trocadero statios, walking distance from the Eiffel Tower, the employees gave us excellents tips in were to go and how to take the metro. good service, beuatiful bathrooms. Good restaurants in the area.
the hotel is very nice, the location is great, the staff was wonderful, but the rooms are very small.
Great Location near Eiffel Tower
Hotel was very nice, and the room was spacious by Paris standards. View of the Eiffel Tower from hotel and only a short walk to metro and on to the tower itself. Staff were extremely friendly. My only gripe was the obscenely overpriced mediocre breakfast. Loved the hotel, just make sure to eat elsewhere.
Excellent hotel
Radisson Blu Metropolitan was excellent! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. They went out of thier way to make our weekend fantastic! They recommended and organized some of our excursions all of which were perfect. The Hotel itself is in a great location - walking distance from Trocadero. The rooms were small but all hotel rooms in Paris are small so I wouldn't fault them for that. Excellent weekend! thank you.
4 star prices and room, 2 star service and no pool
Weirdly our hotel room came without a door to the bathroom. On leaving, the manager explained that our room is usually only given to single people. Not sure why they booked us into it as a couple. Though very attractive, the hotel was overpriced. The pool had been closed for a long term refurbishment without any notification (one of the main reasons we booked this hotel) and we were not told where the guests bar was. Generally a little lapse on check in. TV remote was also not working properly. Room was very clean and quiet. The bar was horrendously expensive. The barman was very helpful and polite.
Romantic and Convenient
The hotel is located in walking distance to many sights, delicious bistros/cafes, and the Metro. I arrived in Paris prior to the hotel check in time, so I had some time to kill in the area. They held my bags at the front desk so i could get started sight seeing. The Eiffel Tower could be seen from the hotel and a 5 minute walk put me right in the most beautiful place to take pictures of it. The Trocadero metro station was close as well for those who love to take the metro. Highly recommended to travel by metro. I was meeting my wife later that afternoon when her flight got in so i bought flowers in the same round-a-bout as the hotel. There was also a couple of ATM's in the round-a-bout to withdraw euros. Check in was smooth, and the bell hop was so helpful finding me a vase to keep the flowers in. The front desk, when asked for dinner recommendations, led us to the best food we had on our entire trip. A bistro around the corner named The Table (English translation). The room was small but we were hardly ever in the room. The decor was welcoming. The bed was comfortable after a long day of walking. Wifi was free in the room and came in handy for planning the next days activities. The surrounding neighborhood was upscale and we felt very safe walking around at night. If we ever make it back to Paris we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The worst stay ever in my life. We paid more than 500€ for nothing per night. There was a smallest room where were bad and walls. We couldn’t even open my luggage in this room. Recognized, that we paid 500€ for nothing we came to the reception to resolve this problem. Oman, a very nice guy, tried to do his best. I explained to him that we need upgrade only for 2 days because we traveled to Poland and left Paris earlier. Then, the manager, that was a woman, she told me “I’ll give you a pleasure - a discount for the upgrade. Pay for 5 days or stay in your room”. Each night 100€ and get a bigger room. Yes, the room was better, but it’s not my problem that the pictures, the description and all the rest about this “luxury” hotel wasn’t true. Hahahah a pleasure. Thanks to you, ma’am. We left one day earlier, and during checkout the guy couldn’t give us money back from the deposit, cause there was a problem in the system. It’s not his fault, I know, but how is this possible, that I paid almost 4.000 for such a terrible stay? And how is this possible that it’s a Marriott group?? 1/10 , 1 point for the beautiful view, for Oman and this guy at the reception. All the rest- terrible.
