Room was great however the hotel has construction works happening and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere so there was loud contruction happening early morning and throughout the day
location is excellent
Renovations are currently taking place at the site; it should not be open to the public. Additionally, they provided me with an unclean room.
Extremely kind staff, pretty gardens on the grounds, and the best breakfast buffet!
Staff was not at the level of the hotel rating.
Public relations office, Salma was very helpful
Beautiful grounds with many well-cared-for roaming cats. Rooms are large and showers are very good. There is a shopping mall with many good food options right across the street. The breakfast buffet was large and had many interesting options. Staff was excellent.
NICE PLACE
Beautiful grounds with well cared for cats roaming the area. Excellent breakfast buffet with a wide variety of foods. Very helpful and friendly staff in all capacities. Great drinks at the bar.
Staff were fantastic
Building needs a refresh...beds, room decor, bathroom...just looks tired...I've been to a few Le Meridien...Mauritius and Dubai would get a proper 5 star. Marrakech needs refurb of property...sauna, jacuzzi and steam room should be available. Wifi is also weak, with today's technology, wifi should be 5G. Also be safer to have a traffic light or speed breaker at the pedestrian crossing just out of the hotel to Menara mall. The cars don't stop even if you are on the crossing.
It was a central location and close to everything you needed. Anything that was further away was never a problem to just jump in a taxi which was always right out front. We opted for the horse and carriage instead. Very friendly staff
Gardens are fantasty
Excellent
Good n satisfactory
A fantastic location across from Menara Mall and lots of restaurants. Only a 25 minute walk to the Medina. The staff were all brilliant. So helpful and polite. The hotel itself is lovely with spacious rooms and air conditioning is great. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The staff was very nice and respectful. Food was really great. The hotel is less than a 10 minute drive from the airport and surrounded by nice dining spots and nightlife. Cabs are easy to obtain right outside of the hotel and the staff will also help you get one. The only issues we had was that our AC unit was really poor so the room was very humid. Even when they fixed the filter, it was still pretty humid. The bed was also a bit hard.
Good friendly staff & facilities.
The staff were very friendly & general facilities are excellent. I had two small problems. a) The drains in my room bathroom smelt very bad at times. b) The swimming pool was very cold although it was 36 degrees. It was so cold the vast majority of people would not go near the pool. It should have heating as people visit the hotel out of the very high temps which will eventually heat the pool.
The property is situated very close to Medina which is very handy for the Souk. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The food was excellent, we ate in the hotel every night. My only criticism would be was the terrible noise all hours of the day and night with the coming and goings of staff with trolleys moving through a staff service area next to my room and the air conditioning was useless. The temperature in my room was kept bearable by a foil (type) backed curtain which when closed did the trick. Other than that 10/10. Lovely time had by everyone.
All ok except pool service was trying to over bill
Property is beautiful & well maintained but air condition was not working.
Great place
Lovely looking exterior and entrance hall, and really nice outside garden and pool area. Big range for breakfast and good quality. The rooms are dated and overpriced (and starred) for their quality, notably the bathrooms and ancient fridges. In need of some major touch ups. The corridors have really ugly flooring and one broken lift. The gym is much smaller than you expect (it's a mirror to make it look larger). However, there's taxis outside, a bus stop to the airport and town, and a supermarket over the road. The area is good.
The grounds and common areas of this property are truly spectacular. Very well kept and maintained. All that being said, the rooms themselves are quite dated. While the room and beds are neat and tidy enough, what detracted from our experience was the condition of the bathrooms. They are in need of major renovations and haven’t been properly maintained (e.g. our bathtub was missing all caulking and much of the grout between tiles). Nonetheless, we enjoyed the grounds and property overall and it had a fairly convenient location (less than 10mins to Medina). Breakfast was also very good!
Great Stay
Great one-night stay. Loved the amenities. Beautiful property. Lush landscape. Excellent service. I will certainly return.
very good hotel, some of the decor maybe a little tired except the reception, bar, indoor restaurants. In general a clean space, relaxing gardens around the buildings. Very good for the price, friendly staff.
Better hotel out there.
This is only an average 4 stars hotel not 5 as it’s mentioned in some sites.
Brilliant hotel
Fabulous hotel. Really enjoyed it. Can’t rate it and the staff highly enough. A bit of a walk to the Centre, but taxis cheap and plentiful
Everything was good especially the breakfast it was very delicious and divers One thing i didn't like is that the TV in my room was an old version I couldn't use neither YouTube or Netflix on it .
Only reason to stay here is proximity to airport
Old, tired hotel in need of a make over/ massive refresh . Has potential - beautiful grounds but everything is outdated and tired.
Do not stay here
Hotel is a shame to the Marriott name. Only decent thing about the hotel is the name. We walked in to an absolute filthy room with marks on the toilet and ran the shower which came out with yellow water. Fridge not even plugged in and a battered television. We had to request a room change it was that bad. The room change didn’t help much. The pool, the lobby is all brilliant but the rooms themselves are just terrible.
Very outdated rooms. Don’t be fooled by the updated entrance. Rooms have thin walls and doors slams can be heard in every room. Personally complained to management but 1 week later haven’t not heard back.
I loved the hotel's green space which is very nice and gives a feeling like you are in Hawaii
THIS HOTEL IS NOT 5* , IS MAX 3*. STAFF IS OK, ROOM EXTREMELY OUTDATED AND LOOKED LITTLE DIRTY, DIRTY ON HALLWAYS, NICE RECEPTION.
The hotel is in an excellent location
The hotel was great and in a good location . The staff were excellent and very friendly especially Youseff on reception. The rooms however definitely need updating and no tea or coffee supplied with the kettle !!! The facilities are good especially the pool although it was freezing !!
Had a terrible experience with the Bartender at the pool area. The Front desk offered us drink vouchers because the hotel is going under renovation and it was not mentioned in their website. The Bartender (Abderrahim) refused to accept the vouchers because you can only use them for certain drinks (No one mentioned that ahead of time). He was rude and unprofessional when I was trying to explain to him that the front desk told us the vouchers are good for all single drinks. His answer was that the front desk people don’t know what they are doing and should be trained again. Abderrahim was blaming his co-workers instead of finding a solution. He made us pay for everything and made us feel not welcome at the hotel. moreover he came back four times to tell us the room is not under my name when the front desk did confirm it’s under my name. Abderrahim ruined my stay and made us feel we should not stay there again.
The garden and pool are nice. Most of the staff are nice. The room was grubby and well below standard. Broken appliances. Poor Wi-Fi. Loud, disruptive building work on-going. Not impressed.
This place is perfect for those coming from North America. It gives you the comforts of home while enjoying Marrakech
Great place
We as family like to a special thanks and appreciation to Rachid Chaouqi who is one of the most helpful and excellent member staff ...all the staff were very helpful made out stay a very pleasant experience...highly recommend.
Great location and staff
Gorgeous!! We were blown away from our room with patio, views, food, staff, grounds and beach just a few steps away. Great stay!! An absolute must!
Excellent stay. People are great, excellent location, delicious food, very nice common areas
Very old property, not maintained with very poor facilities
Clean, comfortable, and safe. The hotel is ideally located with respect to dining and the shopping mall.
Definitely NOT a 5 Star!!
Not a 5 star hotel at all. Maybe a 3 star if that! Only good thing was the pool area. Rooms are so old and worn out. Youseef said we are upgrading you to Exec Room and when walked it it was exactly what I booked! He thought it was funny when I went back down the next day! The breakfast is not great again not what is suppose to me 5 Star. Best staff was Miriam and the guards outside the rest were diabolical. No customer service at all. Don’t be fooled by the reception as it’s gorgeous and the pool the rest not great. Plus point was that the Menera Mall is opposite you, so food and shop is good. French and Arabic is spoken very little knew English. I’d say great location and 10m to airport but hotel was not great meaning the rooms and breakfast… this is my opinion
Wonderful stay with my wife and children. Will return again. Thank you.
The welcome by everyone was excellent made to feel that we were going to be looked after very well which actually happened. Breakfast was very good with made to order Moroccan pancakes, lovely freshly cooked bread, lots of fresh fruit, fruit juices and hot and cold meats, cheese, beef sausages and eggs cooked to order as well. Being able to eat outside is always an added bonus over looking the gardens.
Fresh paint
Nice property and service. Very well located. Could use some love and fresh paint. Pool is v nice and small gym was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast was great.
Busy modern large hotel with a short taxi ride to central Marrakech. Do not pay more than 20 Dh for a Petit taxi during the day - hard negotiation!
Old hotel but well maintained
Not coming back
Not worth the money in my opinion. Standard is low. More a 3 star hotel in my opinion. First impressions at arrival was a a dirty hallway and cockroaches, seeing this while staff is showing our to our room upon arrival. I was horrified , and that set the tone for the rest of the week in the hotel. Room was a 3 star room. Bathroom needs updating. Bed not comfortable. Air conditioner was making loud “alarm” sound at night, woke us up every night. Until we shut it off, and slept in the hot room. (35 degrees during the day) By the pool, if you wanted to order food/drinks you had to go looking for a person to take your order, and you had to look for a while, no one in sight. Did not get any proper service as you usually get at a 4 star or up. Ended up going outside for lunch. Breakfast was ok. Only good thing a can say is a it had a decent pool area, and good location.
The property is old and the carpet needs to be deep cleaned or changed. The rugs I’m the rooms were dirty. Most of the staff were friendly but the female front desk supervisor working the day shift is rude.
Disappointing to see nothing changed since our previous stay 10 years ago. Everything is outdated. Bed is uncomfortable, pool is dirty (green at the bottom), bathrooms need to be refurbished, etc. Room is quite cheap but still not good value for money…
Location is ok, facility’s clean, and staff’s great. We often use Marriott hotels and they’re pretty much above par. During our stay the elevator on our building wasn’t working until the time we left. Highly uncharacteristic of Marriott hotels.
The tub was a little tall and he made it difficult stepping into it for a shower. Also, a card had to be inserted into a slot to activate the electricity but the problem was that several lights had no “off” switch. So, recharging our cell phones overnight was impossible. We were able to work around these issues. Overall we’d go back. Great location, beautiful facility and wonderful staff. 9/10
Property is definitely older and is in need of a full renovation. Had 2 issues over the course of our 1 night stay. First the booked us into a room that was not cleaned from the previous guest and second it took several calls over 3 hours to get them to deliver the extra bed. Would definitely choose to stay in a Souk in the Medina versus this hotel next time.
It’s a nice place to relax after a busy day at the medina. The pool area is nice, but you can heat the traffic from the road sometimes. Other than that the palace is clean and well maintained, close to everything but removed enough for a break of relaxation.
Relaxing end to travel
we stayed at this hotel for the last night of a 2-week trip, as a luxurious conclusion to an otherwise mid-range trip. It's a moderate walk from the train station so no need to take a taxi. There is a mall with lots of restaurants across the street. Check in was easy, though more formal and slow than at other moroccan riads we stayed at. We were escorted to our room, which had a lovely garden view. Complimentary fruit and water was provided. Amenities in the room included shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower cap, in-room safe, ironing board. Robe, slippers. There was a TV, but the audio was so bad that it wasn't worth watching. The pool was very relaxing, and a nice way to end the trip. Breakfast was abundant, buffet style. The hotel got us a taxi to the airport, which was nice to have done for us at the end of travel.
Great view with color changing lights on the pool side
Staff were not always polite and the air conditioning was not working and could not be fixed but the location was really great.
Comfortable hotel, and excellent, attentive staff.
The front desk and the bell man were WONDERFUL
We lliked the Moroccan restaurant, the other restaurant looked like a cafeteria, we didn't like it. The rooms were great, we needed a to stay only one night near the airport in order to catch an early flight. The hotel was great for our purposes. They were very helpful and held our luggage for a few days while we were traveling, so that was very much appreciated. Thank you.
Air conditioning didn’t work
My second time and loved it.
Very old hotel Food not good
Wow what a great hotel. I had unfortunately booked elsewhere and suffered a terrible stay (STARs hotel) but so wished I'd booked here first. The staff wherever helpful, from my arrival to leaving nothing was too much hassle. I was here to run the Marathon and this hotel is the closest to the start & finish line. The fact that I was checking out after the marathon was no issue, they happily extended me till 1500 to allow me to shower post marathon, and then helped with a taxi shuttle back to the airport. Breakfast was plentiful and varied for all diets. I would happily stay here again - great hotel!
Staff are super nice and helpful 24/7. Facilities need an upgrade, food is pretty boring but not terrible
Very old facility. Couldn't take a shower because the shower water was BROWN. The toilet had a hard time flushing. The air conditioning was broken with only warm air coming out. Based on this, not worth the money. Will not return.
Great staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was very nice.
It portrayed a rich Moroccan culture, excellent service and a easily accessible. Some aspects were a little dated.
Could use some upgrades; breakfast was nice.
The pool area
Costumer service was bad
This resort has a nice pool area and the grounds provide a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Clearly, this was once a top resort. However, the rooms are in need of refreshing and love. The layout of the rooms was good but the mattresses and sheets are old (but clean). The towels in the room are basic and rough. But most importantly, the air conditioning could not fully cool the room. It was not exceptionally hot outside (highs of 27-28 degrees celcius) and yet the AC still couldn’t cool the room below 23 degrees. The included breakfast offered a wide variety of foods and was well serviced.
Facility outdated. Beds extremely hard you cannot sleep. Location excellent
The garden inside the hotel is beautiful. Jasmin and orange blossom smells all throughout.
The garden in the hotel is beautiful. Absolutely loved the flowers, the trees, the aroma... amazing to walk through at night or in the early morning. Old feel to the room and amenities.
Excellent service as always !
Nice pool, friendly staff, comfortable, wonderful breakfast, helpful people, great swimming pool, great mall with good food across the street, 5 minutes to tourist attractions
Le Meridian Marrakesh is a bit like a Mercedes with 200,000 miles on the clock. You can see it was designed to a good standard but that was probably in the 1980’s Both the bedrooms and communal areas really need an overhaul. Bathrooms are very dated. The room towels belong on a belt sander - very old and very rough. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable, staff are generally helpful and friendly. The pool is very big and a welcome cool oasis in the July heat. Price wise it seems competitive but really in need of extensive refurbishment.
The rooms need an upgrade, I was surprised to see that this hotel still have a very outdated rooms. The carpets were dirty and the towels are so old. Staff were friendly and pleasant, breakfast was good!
Staff and location
Excellent service Room very dated and old Balcony by kids pool very dirty and unsafe
Personnel sympathique
La propreté de la chambre était médiocre. Petit déjeuner sympathique Grande piscine Personnel sympathique
Centrally located and convenient
people and service very kind
I had an amazing experience staying at the property, the staff were all so nice, and it's a wonderful place to spend some relaxing time, wonder around the gardens, or spend time by the pool. Already planning on staying there for my next trip in Marrakech :)
Staff was excellent. Price was worth it.
Its an ok hotel. Nothing special, a little dirty.
The hotel is fine. The services are ok and the rooms are average. The hotel was a little dirty, but nothing bad.
Nice hotel, but the rooms feel tired and in need of more than just paint. The bathroom door and frame was really in need of renewal due to water damage and age ( We stayed in two different rooms and both were really poor ). The hotel staff were amazing, especially the barman who worked the cafe / bar by the pool.
Location Location Location
Great location everything you need for a city break
Excellent
Excellent in every way
Staff and Managers vary friendly and nice. Room condition bad as heater and telephone not working.
Loved it
Definitely an oasis in town. A shopping mall across the street is convenient and has dining options. "Paul" is a good eatery but service is very slow. The hotel's breakfast is very good too. Overall just a well run and kept place. Also had plenty of electric plugs which is a plus in any hotel
Maybe a bit dated, but it’s a GEM ****
I have seen many mediocre reviews about this hotel and it deserve so much better. Yes it may be a little dated but the hotel’s service, pool, grounds, breakfast and most of all caring and welcoming staff who go above and beyond if asked for anything. I stayed in a very luxurious 5 star hotel at the beginning of our trip in Morocco and despite maybe being more modern and beautiful , Le Meridian surpassed all my expectations and proved to be a more rewarding and beautiful stay in Marrakech. The location is excellent and I wouldn’t recommend any other hotel to friends and family in Marrakech. Well Done Le meridian n’fis! Thank you for the lovely welcome gift of a large plate of fruits that even the 5 star hotel we paid double the price for did not offer us. It’s in the small details!
Brilliant location, lovely people Comfortable stay
Very friendly, warm, excellent location.. an old property and could do with modernisation. Encourage the management to look after the employees well, who put in an extra effort, and support them with better infrastructure. They deserve it.

Friendly stuff nice to walk around just there some Construction work but for me it was ok because I’m in construction business after all it’s nice place and I can recommend it to anyone
