Decent stay in Hong Kong
Overall decent stay at Le Meridien. The bathroom door layout was awkward in that the shower door was not raised high enough to allow for a towel to be placed on the floor properly without it crumpling when the shower door is swung open or closed. There were some stains on the table, side table, chair and toilet that I ended up disenfecting with our own alcohol/hand sanitizer spray but the stains could not be removed except for the toilet seat stain. Some high points included extremely quiet room, fridge for drinks and delicious buffet breakfast. The shuttle bus to and from Hong Kong MTR was awesome and their drivers drive the bus well. The view was decent however it was only a partial sea view.. mostly mountain tbh. Overall the staff were helpful. Thanks very much for a decent stay here in Hong Kong!
Hotel has great vibes. Very comfortable
Quiet retreat close to the bustle of the city
Room was amazing, very clean and modern with useful automatic window coverings and beautiful lighting options. Service was excellent, and the shuttle to town very convenient. Food was average (noting I didn't eat many meals at the hotel).
First class hotel in all above categories. Rooms, restaurants and facilities first class. Staff efficient and friendly . Shuttle to central very reliable and useful. Will stay again!
It is fairly new hotel with super polite and friendly staff. It is a rare property in Hong Kong, that has an huge outdoor area for you to walk or run around. It is not very close to shopping malls or restaurants but a taxi ride in the small Hong Kong can take you almost anywhere in 20 minutes. I will stay here again, when I come to Hong Kong again.
Everything was just great. The view, the service, the safety and peace. You will feel the space, the difference in comparison to most parts of HK.
Everything was great during the stay. If there was an allocated smoking area on each level, it would be more convenient for the guests. I went up and down, affecting the elevator use at least 12 times on a daily basis.
Good rooms
Nice hotel, away from the main areas, but the shuttle bus to Central was handy. Nice pool and gym.
Le Meridien Cyberport
We stayed 3 nights and just love the hotel. Quiet, clean and comfortable with great sta ff who strive to make your stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel. It has everything you need.
Great place to stay and pretty centralised. Heading to the financial district or kowloon side is approximately 25 mins from here. Staff were considerate and helpful, even allowed a late checkout as my flight is much later. The helpfulness off the staff toward guests and non-guests were exemplary. Love my stay.
I regret to share that my recent stay at Le Meridien Cyberport Hotel was far from satisfactory due to an unsettling encounter with bed bugs. Despite my optimism for a pleasant stay, my experience was overshadowed by the discomfort and distress caused by these unwanted pests in my room. What was particularly disappointing was the hotel staff's response to my concern. When I approached them with evidence of the bed bug infestation, I was met with reluctance and denial. It was disheartening to feel dismissed and unheard, especially when the evidence was clear. While I understand that pest issues can sometimes arise even in well-maintained establishments, I firmly believe that how a hotel addresses such problems is a true testament to their dedication to guest well-being. In this case, the way my concerns were handled has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I hope that Le Meridien Cyberport Hotel takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates their approach to guest complaints. Transparency and accountability are essential in maintaining a positive reputation, and I urge the management to take the necessary steps to prevent future guests from experiencing similar discomfort.
Nice hotel and view is excellent. But the location is nice for relaxation but not convenient.
The refrigerator doesn’t keep drinks cold.
Very convenient and cheap parking, excellent hotel facilities.
Nice and sweet staffing team, have had a great night in the hotel. The restaurant is also great, will come again.
Nice staycation
Overall it is a pleasant stay! Staff is very nice and nice view. Only the cleanliness in the swimming pool shower room has to be improved
Was a great trip
Pleasant stay
The hotel staff were all very nice. Check in staff Jacky was very pleasant and let us through to the pool when the room was not ready. Breakfast was a bit basic but served its purpose. Pool was nice not too crowded, maybe a little too warm to be heated in the hot weather though.
Nice staycation☺️
Nice hotel! Good service at reception. Sadly twin beds are not available for the rooms with ocean view. But the breakfast was impressed me like Peking duck omelette, Hong Kong Crab omelette, never found at other Le Meridien.
The check-in time should be 3pm. I arrived on time to check in. The hotel staff informed me that the room was not ready. They need one more hour to clean the room. The reason was that the last guest paid money to extend the check out time. However, I was very disappointed that I was not informed before I arrived. The room with nice sea views but a little bit old in furniture, it looked different to what i saw on the website. The swimming pool is great with a little jacuzzi. As a 5 stars hotel, The service & interior decoration can be improved.
Quiet location with all you need in the surrounding
poor service at check in, reception, diryy bathtub
The ocean view is exquisite. Cyberport is a super luxury, innovative and lovely area. Loved the hotel breakfast, bubbles on the house and free upgrade PLUS LATE CHECK OUT! Amazing services!
Ocean view room is great. Room is spacious and comfy.
Very friendly and polite staff. The best service I’ve ever had in any Hong Kong Hotels.
Serene environment & very helpful staff. Great scenery.
Very remote - at lest 20min from downtown Hong Kong making a pain in transport
Very good place to stay over with my baby. I will stay there again in some day
This hotel is good for get away to having relaxing weekend, however the gym is under renovation without notice
Fair. May need some maintenance for the bathroom. In general, the room is ok.
A good hotel with good staffs
The hotel and room were clean. The staffs were sincere and they served with warm smiles. They did care the customers and loved their job. The room and environment were quiet with nice facilities. It is a good place for test taking.
Nice and Relaxing
Nice and Quiet place for weekend escape!
Surprise
Glad to be upgraded
I like the friendly staffs and quiet surroundings ; however, its a bit far from central, the hourly shuttle bus made up the inconvenient though.
Complimentary Shutter bus and hardworking housekeeping team
The staff were very informative and helpful. The front desk was quick to book taxis as the location is far away, or offer the free shuttle bus. The rooms had beautiful views of the ocean. I liked the free daily coffee.
The office staff are very attentive and helpful. They highlighted the free shuttle bus to central. When I commented about my room, the duty manager upgraded me to a bigger room immediately.
I checkin at 3pm and the reception told me that the room is not yet ready. At the end I have to wait till 5pm to get the room. The room overall is ok, but the bed cover is full of dirts (look like blood stain). It is disgusting.
Good breakfast, nice pool, pleasant employees, toilets in the room were smelly and not-to-clean, dishes in dining room were not clean. I saw other reviews complaining about cleanliness - they were correct.
If you prefer quiet and away from tourists, this hotel will give you all the peace you want with a great view of the harbour and mountain. They do need to work on the room oder because it smells like an old apartment. Apart from that, everything is good, small pool, gym room and various choices of restaurants.
Quite clean and neat, good environment. Nice staff
It was good, very satisfied. Japanese guests might like or need bath, not just shower.
Staff were friendly and helpful however check in was delayed by an hour and a half and the pool's jacuzzi was cold. We arrived at check in time and were told we'd have to wait 1 hour for the room to be prepared. When we returned an hour later we were told again the room wasn't ready and would take another half hour to be prepared. We were offered no compensation while we waited other than a verbal apology.
Make your stay in Hong Kong better!
Very good! A good change to get away from the hustle bustle of downtown in just 15 minutes and enjoy the mornings with a walk around the park.
Good stay
Good overall. But the choices of foods are limited.
More like a three star hotel
I expect more from Marriott Group, especially it’s a five star hotel
The staff were very good. Thumbs up. Please thank all. We hope to see again
Very good.
its a bit out of the city but that can also be good
Open area was great to enjoy the weather and serenity of the area. Amenities around were adequate for a comfortable hassle free stay. The room was spacious. Many other properties feel congested but Le Meridian Cyberport managed this by adding extra space for an added feel of luxury.
Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown HK, cheaper too
Excellent enjoyed it.
STAY HERE, IT'S THE BEST HOTEL EVER !
Le Meridien lived up to it's rating. Highly recommend staying here for business or pleasure. The service was the best I have ever experienced on my many business trips around the globe. There were a few small issues with my room when I arrived: electrical sockets not working in 2 locations, refrigerator was not cold enough, I called room service the first morning and no one answered the phone, ordered breakfast and placed the form on the door before midnight (as stipulated) - no breakfast was delivered however. After a brief discussion with the manager at the hotel, everything was prompt solved. My refrigerator was replaced, the electrical sockets fixed, breakfast arrived the next day on time and room service answered my calls within 1-2 rings. They even provided free macaroons and a hand written note apologizing for any inconvenience. Nice touch. Very satisfied customer.
Overall, it was very relaxing and comfortable. Also very conveniently located to amenities.
Generally a very good hotel. Location is not too convenient if you want to be close to the city activity. There is a free hotel shuttle to the hong kong station which helps though.
Okay overall had staycayion which was good due to park nearby good price and acceptable cindiyikns
Just in Cyberport main area, easy to find, room is big and clean.
Value for money
A very pleasant stay with wonderful staff!
Service is incredible! Thanks guys!
The front desk staff hard sold to upgrade to a suite when checking in. Checked in Room 1220. Not responding after turned down. First time staying, but doubted to come back.
The room is quest and clean. I could relax during my stay.
Nice hotel close to the southern part of HK island
1. clean & tidy 2. breakfast price too high to afford 3. the gym & pool perhaps too small 4
It’s a bit secluded. However the hotel does provide shuttle to the City It was a cosy room but a few things don’t work - there was no bathrobe - the office chair was not on wheels and pushing the chair made a screeching sound - the phone by the bed, works once. - my room was not ready at 3. I was there at 2, so understood I waited. St 3.20 it was still not ready. Only when I insisted on having a room NOW did the staff then move things around and got me a room in the next min.
Quiet (out of the way)
Being away from Central HK was a plus for me and there is an hourly shuttle.
Nice and quite getaway
Everything about this hotel is superb, Environmental is nice, room is clean, stuff helpfulness is over expectation. The only thing I would complain about is the comfort of the mattress, it's quite stiff to my liking and resulted in soreness after a night of sleep. But would definitely go back again!!
The overall helpfulness of the staff made the stay a memorable one
Excellent hotel
Awesome stay. Unfortunately, just a short one, coz we were leaving for airport early in the morning.
Excellent
Very nice and polite staff, specially front desk team.
The room air-conditioning is quite hot....
Just so and so
Room looks old and run down
Spacious, and better to double check the room type
Good: Deluxe Room - Spacious room - Comfortable bed To be improved: - Deluxe room has 2 kinds but not show in the website - Pic on website is the premium deluxe room which is very few in the hotel; better to check with the hotel in advance
Excellent choice
Staff spoke English very well. They were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and quiet. It is away from downtown but the shuttle service to the MTR (Hong Kong station) is excellent. Very good hotel breakfast with a variety of choices. We would stay there again.
Great location with excellent public transport
Staff were very helpful and attentive. Room view was lovely. Facilities were great. Away from the bustle of Hong Kong but close enough to access all attractions.
The hotel is pretty old when u compare with photo in yr website. So some disappointed as this is Le Meridian Hotel.
Excellent all around!!
5 Stars!!
Comfortable, self parking with free parking, staffs are very politely and customer caring
Great stay . Friendly staff . Clean . Very good buffet breakfast.
Excellent. The hourly shuttle makes all the difference.
Good value
Although the location is not central for business purposes I chose it for the open space and also for the nearby amenities and choice of dining and transportation.options.
Decent hotel
I selected the Deluxe Ocean View Room package, and was allocated to the 5th floor of the Hotel. The room itself was quite clean however, the infrastructure of the hotel were slightly old e.g. RGB connected TV quality, dusty floor carpet etc. Moreover, the "ocean view" was blocked by half of the shopping mall located on the 4th floor, with us living on the 5th floor, privacy was a huge concern. Would not recommend to others.
Nice view. Quiet! Clean!
Had a long and comfortable stay. Very courteous and helpful staff. Location is far from city centre but they have an hourly shuttle and are located adjacent to a bus terminus. Nice and fully stocked Grocery, supermarket is right next to the hotel...
Just finished a week stay at Le Meridien at Cyberport. The rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating with varied needs. Of course this hotel is very convenient if you have business with Cyberport, but more so it is great to have space + gorgeous sea views + supermarket/restaurants/cinema within a 3 minute walk. I have booked a large group of university students to stay here and feel reassured that they are in great hands. Thanks to the Le Meridien team!
Just perfect!
Everything simply worked perfectly!! Staff, food, room... everything!!
Nice Hotel in a quiet location.
Good Hotel with a Western style supermarket downstairs and Bus terminal next door, both very convenient to have so close. Restaurant choices nearby were limited but not too far from larger centers like Aberdeen. Hotel rooms were much larger than many in HK, overall very good if you are not fussed about being a little further away.
Delusional management...
From our arrival to our departure, this hotel failed in all our expectations. Starwood should be ashamed to have them using the Le Meridien brand...it is now most likely that we will exclude this marque from our travels, even though other Le Meridien hotels have been okay. The staff tried to be personable, but lacked the English language skills to understand the problems....that is being kind. No issue was resolved with a first request....getting feather pillows took THREE days...really...and they are listed as being in every room as standard issue. It finally took an appearance at the front desk where staff were unable to differentiate the heavy rubber pillow (latest offering) from a feather one. FO manager recommended the Chinese restaurant hidden on the third floor.....understandably so after sending back the appetiser, and barely nibbling at the mains....the worst Chinese meal in Hong Kong...maybe the world? And then having to send back the pool-side food....I mean really...how difficult is it to make edible food from a five star hotel kitchen? This was rubbish that even the most amateurish kitchen could do better. Dining manager was requested, but only gave platitudes...no more. Deadlock on door didn't work and wasn't fixed during our 5 night stay. As a parting gift we were woken at 6.00 am on our last morning by room service trying to deliver a breakfast we had not ordered. "Did you order room service?" is not something you want to hear on the phone after being woken!
Very disappointed
I booked for a two night stay for my partner's birthday as a surprise. The room had a terrible musty fish smell that they claimed was because they used sea water in the toilets- all of Hong Kong does this and I've never experienced a smell that bad. The very first meal at the hotel's restaurant Prompt was terrible- stale bread, instant mashed potatoes, zero ambiance and way over priced. We decided not to eat at the hotel again and realized that the only other restaurant options in the area were at the mall connected to the hotel. Loads of children were running around unattended and the food options weren't any better than the hotel. We went to bed thinking we would enjoy the pool the next day and was shocked to find that they sold day passes to families in the area so the relaxing pool day we had planned was hijacked by children splashing us, screaming and running around the pool. Cyberport must be a great community for families to live in but not great for a couple looking to relax. We checked out early and the hotel reception didn't even ask why or how our stay was. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel or area to anyone- even families because there are way better options elsewhere.
Hotel very clean and staff was excellent. Very great customer service.
It was OK, but I have no time for all your required characters. 1234567890asdfghmnbvczlkjhgfdsa
pleasant stay
hotel is located in cyberport and plenty of good restaurants nearby. 5/5
Excellent staff
Staff were very friendly and nice. The check in was extremely smooth and the room were clean and tidy. One downside of the hotel is its location. It takes around 20 mins to get to Central station. But lucky that the hotel provide free shuttle services every morning to the Central Station and further connection to other places in HKG.
Nice seaview
Room was spacious with nice seaview. However: 1. All blinds (2 at each window x 7 windows) are manual operated so it was a pain having to pull all 14 blinds down manually before going to sleep. 2. Husekeeping did not clean/wash used cups. 3. Breakfast selection was limited and cooked items' quality and taste is the worst I ever had even when compared to 3-star hotels (e.g. fish in tomato sauce was very dry and tasteless, deep fried spring roll had a big lump of sticky and bland stuff in it, etc). Skipped breakfast for second day and had McD instead.
Lovely hotel in quieter part of town
In Hong Kong for work. Location a little out of the way but the free shuttle bus drops you directly into central. Rooms are really spacious and clean with nice views. Good wifi.
Cozy Hotel
Beyond Standards: Restaurant services and room decoration for our anniversary celebration. Nice view. Below Standards: Room floor cleanliness, Lobby Interior, Room Facilities no Bath for 5 Star Hotel. Small standard rooms. Not attractive swimming pool.
Nice hospitality for anniversary celebrations
Restaurant manager & staffs' hospitality service is beyond level if it comes to HK hotel standard; Hotel offered our anniversary celebration with heart shaped cake, heart balloons inside room, personal VIP service, and more for free; Transport from hotel to city was very convenient; A disappointment was no bath inside rooms; Another disappointment was room wasn't cleaned well, since we found other guest’s nails on the floor that was quite big & sharp and could have cut our feet.
HK alternative
Quiet neighborhood nice views, everything you would expect from a Le Meridian hotel.
Great stay
Clean and comfortable rooms. Great food. Nice surroundings
excellent experience for a weekend getaway
relaxing and enjoyable
Room for improvement
Room was big with a small seaview and the bed was really comfortable. However we were struggling to have hot enough water for shower in the evening, despite after consulting on-duty manager who sent over a staff to check and asked their engineer to raise the overall temperature from their central supply. Not sure if it was due to the fact that it was full house on the night, it was back to normal on the following morning. We also had a minor issue with the provided hairdryer not working using the power socket in the bathroom, as we discovered later only the sockets near the desk could power it up (after initially thought we had a faulty one and already asked for a replacement). Otherwise the stay was ok overall, would recommend to those who want to stay out of the crowd for a peaceful stay.
quite good
Hotel enviroment is quite nice! quiet hotel! and location is far away from city but quite nice view.
Le Méridien Hong Kong, Cyberport | Hotel in Hong Kong | Travala.com
Good: Spotlessly clean, great pool, good options for breakfast, the best hotel bed we’ve ever slept in. Easy access to Kennedy Town and beyond, and taxis plentiful. Not so good: Wine expensive (but more expensive everywhere in HK than in UK). Limited TV channels. Not much around within walking distance. Would we stay here again - definitely Yes.
