I was charged for no show. I understand that I missed free cancelation date, but the price you charged was ridiculously high. The room rate for one night plus taxes was too high. Major hotels would not have charged that much for a no show. After that I probably would not book with you all again.

Nestled in the busy short north area, this is a nice hotel. Excellent staff, accommodations, service, food and bar. I’ve stayed here 3x’s now, however, I will say this time I had the worst room. It felt like we got the “Expedia” treatment since we didn’t book directly through the LeMeridian website… small corner room on the back of the hotel, overlooking the dumpster, a homeless camp and the highway. It was so loud all night. The hotel was not full either, so I know there were better rooms overlooking the strip perhaps. All I know is, I would rather have had a room with no windows, or a view of a brick wall to ever stay in that room (411) again.

Nice hotel, the art museum was closed the whole time we were there so we didn’t get to check that out which stinks but everything else was great!

We have loved the Joseph for many years. The Guild House restaurant is lovely off of the lobby. Staff is stellar. Rooms have been consistently fresh and very comfortable. Only thing is in the last couple years, the main street in front of hotel has gotten very noisy. We stayed in back of hotel this time and it was better.

Such a beautiful hotel! The staff was very nice and accommodating. This is one of our favorite Columbus hotels. The interior is stunning and it brings a luxury modern feel. The rooms were nice and clean

Such a cute, artsy hotel! Exceptionally clean and the beds were the best! Some of the best sleep I've had in a while! Great location and the staff was very friendly and courteous! Enjoyed the wine at the bar and the breakfast at The Guild House was delicious!

Cleanliness was good, with the exception of the WATER BEING TURNED OFF for half a day. There was no notice regarding this, nor any offer of assistance to mitigate the situation. Completely unacceptable in any circumstance, and especially so considering the large amount being paid for the room. Service was good(ish), and quick, but almost every staff person seemed very unhappy about being there.

Noisy out side and in. I specifically asked for a quite room, but the room next to mine, each time it opened and closed caused my walls to rattle.

Could be an even better property. A real gem. The housekeeping services aren’t up to par currently. My room was made up as requested but towels left on floor weren’t removed as well as dirty coffee cups a d glassware do not remover. Odd. Great location, friendly front desk staff and bartenders.

When we arrived, the staff heard my fiancé say it was our anniversary. They sent a complimentary bottle of Champaign to our room. Front that point on it was a fantastic stay all around. The bar in the lobby, 5 star. The room, 5 star. The view, 5 star. Valet service, 5 star. Had our car ready in 5 minutes or under anytime we needed it. Even the guy working the door, friendly, helpful and pleasant. Hands down my new go to hotel when staying in Columbus.

Great stay, the place was quiet, clean and modern. Good guest services. Room service was down but they have a breakfast room service. It was delicious! They charge for WiFi unless you’re a Marriott bonvoy member.

In a hotel like this, not having a bellboy and not having slippers (at least on out arrival night) was shocking

Nice property, wonderful staff.

We liked that we had a view, and being downtown close to things to see and do, even though it was quite noisy (highway). We appreciated that valet had unlimited in/out privileges because self park was a joke. We would have really appreciated if the restaurant had at least one vegan option on their menu (a meal - not a dressingless salad or just sides). Because they did not, we did not patronize it.

Bedside table alarm clock was pre-set by someon and it woke me up at 5am. There should be a way to check this I would think. Walls were paper thin and you can hear normal conversation in next room throughout the night.

A gem!

This hotel is beautiful! The lobby/bar area is so sleek and well kept, impressive from the start. The service was great- we were so well taken care of, even for the smallest things we needed. This hotel would be great anywhere but the location in addition to the service and comfort is what puts this place over the top. Great stay, highly recommend!

Not sure I’ll be back …

when arrived at room it was 2 queens, not the King I booked. I called front desk but they said I booked a queen and they were sold out of kings. They repeated I booked Queens or hotels.com didn’t transfer the reservation correctly. nothing they could do to get K. I verified my reservation that I did book a K, contacted hotels.com who called hotel, and minutes later the front desk called and said their mistake, they checked me in under the wrong reservation. (Although I provided my Drivers License at check in). They resolved by moving us and gave us a breakfast voucher for the trouble. At 12:30AM our phone rang twice (I thought it was a dream the first time as my daughter & I were sleeping) & said there is no credit card attached to my room to charge for the drink I ordered (earlier) and if I could come down to the front desk now. At 12:35AM!! I couldn’t believe that they called my room at that time -2 times! And asked me to get out of bed to come down. I also provided my credit card at check in, which I assume they left attached to the original room they gave us. So now to resolve if my credit card was left on someone else’s room for incidentals/their charges. Did not make me feel very comfortable. Sad these happened bc it is a beautiful hotel in great location and would love to come back but not sure I will again.

Highly recommend!

We were informed when we checked in that they had oversold the King rooms. We were offered the Queenx2 room and they offered satisfactory comps. The entire staff was amazing...attentive, informative and friendly! Highly recommend!!

Great location in Short North, excellent dining options across the street and on High St. Room was good size and comfortable. We had a few minor hiccups during my four night stay, but the staff was very accommodating and made every effort to fix. Would stay again next time in Columbus.

Helpful, friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere in the lobby bar (and coffee shop by day), and a great location for convenient dining and shopping made this a wonderful stay for my wife and me. Definitely recommend and we’ll be staying here again the next time we come to Columbus

Disappointed

We booked a Standard King but at 3:15pm the only available room was an ADA King. We did not expect it to make such a difference but the accessible shower practically floods the room and we had to lay down all the towels to make sure we didn't slip. We then discovered that the TV didn't work and the walls were so thin that we heard everything happening in the room next to us. We ended our stay with a subpar room service breakfast and at checkout no one asked how our stay was. Too bad...other Meridien location stays have been quite nice.

Perfect stay

Contemporary, chic, art filled lobby. Best breakfast in town in the lovely Guild House dining room. Wonderful small shoppes, galleries and dining on High Street just outside hotel. Room very comfortable-lux bath and shower. Have stayed here many times. Our go-to in Columbus.

Enjoyed my stay!

The Joseph is very close to the convention center (we were there for Volleyball) and a number of other food options. The lounge downstairs is fun and everyone is always very professional on their staff.

Great views, great people, iffy parking

The staff was amazing, the room was clean. There were treats available in the room at a cost, while this wasn’t a problem it was clear they were old. The coffee was fantastic, and the Cityview was superb. My biggest issue was parking the best option is valet which costs $40 a day. The price is high, and to go out with your car is quite tedious, because you have to wait for the valet which can take up to 30 minutes so you have to make sure to plan that in your time. It’s not uncommon to see people standing out front waiting on their cars. I'd love a daily self park option so I can get my car at will without paying ridiculous rates. All in all, it was a nice Stay. The location is fabulous and perfect if you want to explore downtown and the short north. Ideal for convention center events.

Great hotel, centrally located, caring staff, great food and wonder full accommodations. I gave it a 4 not a 5 as on check out the staff charged me for a bottle of wine that I did not drink and a replenishment charge for the in room cooler - I called them up and had the charges reversed. Additionally, I had asked the room to be cleaned between my first and second night and it was not done.

I loved the property. The staff was wonderful, kind and friendly. Easy check in, nice vibe, we were there for New Year's Eve.

Our room was beautiful! It was large, with a well thought out nook around the top of the bed (which was so comfortable!) for charging and easy access to things like phones, eyeglasses, and a book. The seating area was very comfortable, and the available minibar was top notch. The bathroom was gigantic, and well laid out, with excellent amenities. Staff was beyond courteous!

Ask for a room not overlooking the highway… can be a little bit noisy at night plus not a nice view.

Awesome although brief family visit, as we were on a long road trip returning from the midwest to NY. Service was attentive, rooms super clean and nicely designed. Hotel staff was very helpful with area dining options. Would definitely stay again.

Suoer chic property. Fabulous breakfast at Guild House restaurant in hotel. Truffled poached eggs over fluffy potato pancakes. Cronut to die for. Lobby is a feast for the eyes gallery of fine, modern art. Fun shoppes galleries , park and museum right outside the door. Rooms sparkling clean, beds divine.

We dont typically stay at boutique hotels but this one is definitely a must. Hotel was clean and i viting, our room was nice too. The young man greeting everyone in the lobby was so delightful.

The staff was amazing, the room was awesome but for a suit i thought the bed would be way more comfortable. It was hard and did not sleep very good.

This, is a hotel. Room service is key at this place, the staff working at the time of my stay is a well refined crew of good vibes. The food is amazing, star full staff and a great room overall. Amenities are top notch for the area and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good experience in the city of Columbus.

Location and views

We stayed during the holidays, and they had a cheery XMAS tree in the room. Between the cleanliness, beautiful decor, location and staff, I'd stay there again and again.

This is my second time staying here , the staff is always so helpful and friendly. I had THE best massage ! Drinks at the bar are unique and delicious.

Good, not great

Overall an ok stay. Was pretty disappointed that we showed up a little before 2:00 and our room was not given to us. I get checkin is 3:00 but for a hotel that was not full come on. Probably would not stay again due to that fact and price.

I don't normally do reviews but the bed was so bad I feel the need to let others know. The mattress was broken down with large dip in middle. My wife and I could not sleep for the two days on property.

Great staff, great hotel. perfect location. Only one thing I wish I had known that they were going to remodel their breakfast counter area during my stay, during this time period, having breakfast at the hotel would have been great. there is not a place that serves breakfast near by. but al in all. I will come back.
