This is a beautiful hotel, with excellent staff and service. We enjoyed our stay there very much!
The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing!
Great boutique hotel. Fantastic staff.
Incredible
The property is an modernized classical home. It has the feel of high end french home but has modern amenities. However at night the warm water tends to run out fast, so taking a really hot shower would sometimes not be possible. Especially when there is a lot of guests that are checked in. This is the reason why I removed 1 star from my review.
The staff was very friendly!
Lovely stay, would book again.
Very good place to stay. Beautiful!!
Wet friendly
Fantastic place. It is almost like having a room in a castle.
Hotel is located in the city center, located near all the sights.
Comfortable B&B-type arrangement in a nice-sized town. Good base for the chateaux east of Tours. The room and bed were both large and comfortable.
Fantastic hotel, wonderful staff. Great location and easy walking distance.
Amazing hotel the rooms are big, nice, and very clean.
Classic place and wonderful staff, will definitely be staying here again.
Beautiful spacious room as we were upgraded due to staying3 days. The grounds were well kept with a pleasant swimming pool. Close to the restaurants- 5 mins walk.
Beautiful hotel, big room and very comfortable. Excellent location and very friendly staff.
Had enough space for 2 adults and 2 children . Good for families
Bonne localisation
Perfect place for visitors with a car as parking is difficult in the old city. Wonderful to have bar and lovely small food dishes available all day and into evening. It was too cold to use the pool but a lovely area for hot days. Also the lift in this old building was very helpful for baggage and upper floors.
Beautiful former priory. Everything was perfect.
It was like we were in our own chateau. This is a tucked away location that is absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautiful, the home is well appointed and incredibly decorated, the breakfast was perfect, and the owner made our stay to very special. I highly recommend staying at Le Manoir Saint Thomas.
Loved staying here. Great customer service and location.
Lovely hotel in a great location
We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with kids. The bed was a bit close to the wall for us to share, so we each took a bedroom. We took breakfast several days, which was not elaborate but had the standard items (croissants , bread, cold cuts, cheese, etc) and they will cook eggs for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again if we returned to Amboise.
I was not feeling well the second night of my stay and the staff was very kind and helpful.
Great stay
We really enjoyed this hotel. It was an easy walk to many restaurants, chateaus and the Sunday Market along the river. Coming back from our outings felt like coming home to our own mini chateau. The room was very large and comfortable. The toilet was a long distance from the separate sink/shower but we found this to be the case in a few of the hotels we stayed at in France outside of Paris. There was no curtain on the bathroom window which made me a little uncomfortable, but that’s just me. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only negative was that we decided to splurge and spend 40 euros to have our laundry done rather than waste a vacation day at a laundromat. They were nice enough to do it on a Sunday too! But, all of my husbands shirts and jeans came back very very wrinkled. Some were so bad, he couldn’t wear them again on the trip. That was the only disappointment. We didn’t complain, so it’s possible they would redone it for us. Overall, I recommend a stay here!
Stylish in Amboise
Comfortable rooms, beds, and linens. Lovely bar and common spaces. We felt this was our little chateau experience. Good value breakfast, with eggs to order.
Lovely manor in a beautiful city
Beautiful historical hotel in Amboise
Le Manoir Saint Thomas hotel is a beautiful historical building. When you enter the hotel it gives you the feeling that you have traveled hundred years back in time. Our room was spacious with large bathroom and lots of art pieces throughout. Parking was conveniently allowed in the yard next to the building surrounded with beautiful garden
It is greatest hotel in Amboise , the room and bath room is very clean and very unique. Parking is really easy and there is a plenty of parking space in hotel and street . The staffs are very professional passionate. It is great experience for me .
This property was beautiful and the staff were fantastic and made our stay truly enjoyable.
You feel welcome from the first moment you enter this amazing property. Very friendly staff. There is no doubt that I will return on my next trip to Amboise.
Excellent location for visiting castle and down town. Plenty of restaurant options. Great staff, comfortable beds and a good breakfast.
Loved the room and location!! The staff were very friendly and helpful!
Wonderful place to stay. Very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back
Wonderful Hotel in Amboise
We stayed here for almost a week during our first tour of the Loire valley. The hotel seems to be in a refurbished chateau or other historical building, so it is very atmospheric. Regardless of its age, the interior is completely updated and modern, particularly the appointments in the room. The size of the room was remarkable- very spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Amboise is a relatively small town compared to nearby cities and very walk-able. Not far from the hotel is an area with numerous restaurants, and we tried a different one each night enjoying great meals at all. Parking is available just across the street for free and also provided by the hotel. Should we stay in Amboise again, we would not even consider choosing any other hotel. Highly recommended!

Very convenient and easy walking to the château, restaurants, and bars
Wonderful hotel with great staff. Very helpful in all ways. Very charming decor, location is easy walking distance to everything.
Great location!!!
Great location and loved the hotel!! The space downstairs next to the bar was really cool to hang out. About 5 -10 min walk to the Amboise castle/leonardo da vinci home. I added breakfast and I was not told I could order outside the buffet which was small. I had noticed on the day we left that the lady was cooking scrambled eggs- wish I knew!
Beautiful manor turned hotel. The staff was excellent and accommodating, the rooms comfortable and clean, huge bathroom, good breakfast bar, and close to the center of town and restaurants.
Great location and lovely staff
Lovely !
Lovely hotel with pool. Comfortable, clean in a perfect location. Loved the staff!
Unique picturesque house with pool close to restaurants and attractions
We loved staying in this historic house! Beds were comfy, staff nice and helpful, close to everything! Thank you!
The staff was absolutely fabulous. We were first greeted by Arthur who checked us in and was so helpful throughout our stay. His relief was just as friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely would stay again and would recommend to others.
Wonderful Hotel!!!
This is a very beautiful hotel! The only thing i would of loved more was a shower and a toilet fan.
Great location. Our room was magnificent. Parking was a bonus.

The hotel is in an old house. If you like quaint, this is it. It is in a good location to walk to Clos Luce and the Chateau d'Amboise, and the city center. It also has ample parking. Good choice for Amboise.
