Layout was unique, with a beautiful garden like feel to the property. The towel warmer was a nice bonus too

It's a great little gem. The owners are nice and the place is good. But the walk to get there is a bit uphill so if you have mobility issues and you don't have a car it could be a challenge. But if not it's a great place to stay.

Great place attached to other rooms in the house, but private, clean and enjoyable.

Charming, serene spacious studio with peaceful garden, great natural light, felt like a treehouse. very clean with comfy, quality bedding & towels.

Absolutely loved the apartment, spa pool and the view is to die for.

The view was outstanding especially from the main bedroom. The bed in the living area could have done with some privacy.

The owner is nice. Help us to cook food. It was absolutely delicious.

Great Waiheke Escape

Great get away. Nice studio room.

We had a fantastic one night stay here for a wedding on the Island. Very clean and hosts were very nice and accomodating to our needs. Early check in and late check out were no problem. Only negative was that we couldn't figure out how to turn off the outside lights which stayed on all night and kept the room very bright. Would definitely stay again though. Nice place.

We stayed in the downstairs small suite which whilst had all the basics was small and quite dark. The photos on the property details major on the upstairs larger suites which have the promised view, not so in the downstairs one we stayed in. Apart from the initial intro we had no further contact with the managers of the property. We had stayed in a number of different properties during our month long visit to Nee Zealand but in comparison this offered poor value for money

What a beautiful place to spend our first night in New Zealand! The property was beautiful and I so appreciated being able to soak tired bones in the hot tub after so many hours of travel. I loved sleeping with the windows open, so relaxing. I would definitely return!

I was really disappointed because the Room we had was not the room I had booked that was The only disappointed 😔

Fabulous stay on Waiheke island. Loved our spacious suite with expansive views, made use of the hot tup and excellent pizza up the road. The bus stop is a 5 min walk, but there is also parking if you have a car. the bed was heavenly comfortable, the towels great quality and the place clean and tidy. Never saw or spoke to the owners, but there was a note with all relevant info on it, so that worked without issue.

Nice enough but I wouldn’t go back

This place is ok. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is, as It’s pretty basic. During better weather you would have use of the pool and it would make the stay a lot more pleasant. Pro: The bed is comfy, it’s a big space. Bathroom is nice and spacey. Cons: It could have been cleaner, the sofa and rugs look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. Its 2 far from the main shopping area.

Highly recommend

We rented the studio (Chablis) and it really has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. For cycling tourists, this is perfect. Modern, well furnished, easy to find.

The owner was kind enough to take us to the ferry when we were leaving.

Very tidy, good location, with transport close by and great views.

It was a great place for our one night stay. The studio was clean and lovely and met all our needs. The bed linen was lovely quality and towels large and great quality too.

Delightful views of the harbour and the use of the hot tub after a day of exploring Waiheke Island. Need to have additional services such as Washing Machine and dryer and better self catering facilities - only a microwave , Kettle and toaster. Beds very comfortable and rooms spacious. No cleaning materials left for bathroom & kitchen facilities.

Great relaxing time away from home

Amazing view nice and relaxing. Hosts were great, us 5 ladies had a wonderful time.

Exceeded expectation. Pool and spa pool have beautiful views. Unit was big with spacious bath room and kitchen. Lovely garden. Easy parking. Highly recommended to anyone.

Price was too high especially when prices ranged from 143 to 220.00 per night. The apartment was only a room in a house with a bathroom

This property is quiet, the family live on site but you don’t hear them. Our unit was on the lower level so doesn’t have ocean views but the top ones do

AMAZING!!!! This place was simply magical, views, facilities, location close to everything (literally 5min drive to the main attractions... beautiful rooms and views, swimming pool, even a mini fridge to keep some food and drinks.... i will definitely come back! Thanks to the friendly hosts!!!!

Waiheke’s Best Lodging!

If you’re considering staying at this lovely property, do it! Of all of the many places we stayed during our 2 weeks in NZ, this was our favorite. From the exceptionally friendly hosts to the incredibly views and convenient location, this place is top notch. While there is a hop on hop off bus within a short walk to bring you to other parts of the island including wineries, we opted to enjoy a leisurely walk to the nearby wineries. Once you reach the first, there is a lovely off-road path between most of them so you can stroll through the vineyards. Charlie Farley’s is a must visit - great recommendation from our host! Sits right on the beach and offers a great beverage selection and bar fare. The sunset was phenomenal!

Awesome stay! Super cool amenities including pool and jacuzzi. Lovely hosts, super comfortable bed and great overall accommodation. Would stay again!

Lovely Get Away

The property was delightful. We had 3 adults and 2 small children and the accommodations were clean and quite comfortable. Our four year old loved the pool. We had a car so visiting some surrounding wineries was quite easy. My only concern was the lack of communication as I sent two emails through VRBO to the owners and never received a response. We did eventually reach them by phone. All and all a wonderful stay!!! I would recommend.

The location and views are stunning. Rooms and amenities 1st class

The room was clean and neat . Met the owner on arrival very nice people . They left the heater blanket on and the heat pump . Towels were warmed . Would recommend it very cosy

Very good ocean view, we all enjoyed the accommodation.

Cosy and comfortable unit. Great to have a spa pool to relax in. The only odd thing we found, was there was zero personal contact made from the proprietors toward us as clients.

Location is ideal. Lovely people who leave you to your own devices and nice clean accommodation

Great location and pool!

Wonderful hosts, loved the pool and spa (no harsh chemicals/chlorine) and the view, very comfortable bed, would certainly love to go back.

We loved it!

The Bordeaux suite smashed our expectations out of the park it was large and spacious with a stunning view overlooking the water. The infinity pool and hot tub were a real highlight for us and it was nice being able to come back after each day out exploring the island for a swim and a soak before retiring to our room.

I really liked this property as it was quiet where we stayed. We had a pool to cool off in and a spa to relax in at night. It was close to the supermarket and good food places.

The view was exceptional and the swimmming pool was great in the heat.

Great location with lovely quiet outlook onto the bush and Anzac Bay.

It was clean, quiet and I like the view from the pool.

Great little space surrounded by lovely gardens. The pool and hot tub were nice touches!

Very well set out with fantastic views. Friendly check in.

Disappointed

There was cobwebs & dust. Hair dryer end bit was broken, lamp didnt work, no dish cloths for bench, the title la chalet apartments is deceiving as these werent apartments they were underneath someones house. Overall we were disappointed and wouldnt stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.

Lovely family run apartments in a fantastic location on Waiheke.. great views, fab pool and hot tub.. neat studio 'Chablis' is very comfortable and has everything you need, including a little treat in the fridge! Would stay here again :)

Charming

We stayed in “Chablis” which is very compact and charming. The unit is well equipped, light and airy. The shower room is small but functional. There is access to a lovely garden and the swimming pool looked very inviting although we didn’t actually try it out. The location is quiet, but has easy access to the whole island. Would recommend for 2 people.
