TravellerIn Ensenada for a night and happened across Las Dunas- we couldn’t have been happier w/ the stay! Quiet, comfortable rooms, just a couple blocks off the main drag, excellent service & hospitality, and an amazing restaurant (the purple onion) attached to hotel. Highly recommended!!

I returned to this hotel, in spite my earlier 2.stars. But the staff is accomodating and the restaurant is good/ok. Though I still think that the kitchen has no real function, otherwise then for guests who knows that they have to bring it ALL. As you can not rent even a basic set of plates, silverware and a pot...that is the major reason for putting a 2 stars on this one, Apart from perhaps that the bed lights do not work and the loose wires is not a good thing....

Take a shower and after 2 minutes be prepare to a cold freezer water on your body. The mattress sucks, I will never be back to tha hotel. My girlfriend got mad for a such bad choice. I will not recommend it.

Friendly staff, Rundown facility .
The staff was very friendly and that's the only good thing about the place. It is run-down and old. I wouldn't even know where to start. Not a place to recommend or visit again.
