Don’t go here !!!
100% terrible. We arrived. Picture are from many years ago. OK. Whatever. At the front desk and were asked to wait because they were discussing something. Yes… they were. They were discussing other guest complaints about the blankets, and that they thought that was “stupid”. All in front of us while we were waiting to check in. That was not a good (a very bad) first impression. In the end we just left and.booked another hotel. Really… I’ve travelled around the world, saw many cultures and many countries. This is just bad. No matter what angle you look at it.
Not as close to downtown as I thought. Towels and sheets old and thin. Staff very nice but didn’t speak much English. No facecloths or hand towels. Pool was nice. Limited dining? Umm noodles?? No dining. Had lots of hot water for showers but no bathmat so floors got very wet and slippery.
Good
It was basic- nice little pool and sitting area- No restaurant- no ice or fridge in the room - had to pay for hot water and instant coffee - staff was not that friendly
Cozy, quiet and private.
The place is private, quiet and comfortable. A little bit outdated, but everything work!. Remains me of a "mom and pop" bed and breakfast kinda a deal. Friendly staff and they have a snack bar 24/7.
The pool was nice and well-kept. Room and beds were comfortable. Base of toilet was leaky, so floor was often wet around it. Staff were apathetic. At one point they had mopped the hallway outside our room at a high-traffic hour and left no warning signs that the floor was wet. My partner exited the room and slipped, falling on the concrete. Her complaints that she was hurt by the fall were met with a shrug.
Disappointing
Hotel was in a good location, about a 10min walk to the main city centre. They also have a good pool for guests to use (although they could really do with separating this from the hotel car park). Unfortunately we arrived back late on our first night to discover a lot of hairs in our bed so we can only assume the beds were not changed (on both beds in the room). We had to request for them to change them next morning and the receptionist did not even apologise that this has happened. There was no filtered water available for guests, only bottled water to purchase in reception.
Not the 21st century
I checked in here because my preferred hotel was booked up and they suggested this one, as it is affiliated. My initial feeling about the hotel was that it was very much outdated and desperately needed the rooms, flooring and bedding upgraded. The staff were very nice and I appreciate that. It turns out that due to spontaneous circumstances, I did not stay either of the two nights. But as I wrote, the rooms need updating.
Its great for the price, hot water, tv, ac, comfortable bed. Its a little far from good food and entertainment
Good deal
For the price, it was a good hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable and the location was good for me. Good for a budget hotel. There wasn't anything much to complain about, but there were a couple things that made it far from "perfect" that you'd expect from a more luxury hotel. The wall electric plug near the bed didn't work. So, I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. Not ideal. The TV was small. I turned it on and could raise or lower the volume, but I couldn't change any stations with the remote. Maybe they only have 1 channel, maybe those buttons on the remote didn't work, maybe it was user error... idk The sun rises early and in December was shining at the "pool view" room I was in. The blinds were not thick enough to block the light, so I was awake far earlier than I would like.
Greet place
Everything was great
Avoid room 101
We asked to see a room before we booked to avoid bad hotels it's a good thing to do in Mexico at this price range. So they showed room 101 and it's right next to the reception so loud voices and phone calls late at night and early in the morning!
I lied the front des people, very attentive and nice. I liked the spacious closet. I did not like the fact that did not provide toiletteries. I saw 2 roaches near the bed. Very old building. Dont have phone on the room. The TV did not work.
Plumbing shower issues. Not a good service
no hot water and we have to fight the get it. They know of plumbing issue s and do not fix them. Front desk does not help. We have to discuss with them to have our shower fixed.
Close to where i wanted to be. Queit location at night great for sleeping.
The low pressure at the water In the shower and I think better pillows
Neat to many places and the people are very courtesy
Vacay
Very good location. Close to Downtown. Great service and very clean room and comfortable beds.
We liked that we got value for money, the swimming pool, the cable and the facilities were good, what we noted a bit on the negative side was the details for cleaning but overall it was good, the hotel is nicely located and the space for parking is excellent...
Has a great location and it’s very affordable. It’s not clean.
Good location. Friendly staff. Pool was nice. But no shampoo. No refrigerator. No English. Good for price, but not much there.
Old furniture and hotel;you get what you pay;is ok to stay for a night
Hotel wasn’t too clean.
Cheap and clean hotel close to downtown.
Had a great time is very nice .hotel close to mejorada .chembech.great places to eat .the hotel water pressure and l temperature.eccellent .i go back again
Central location, but a bit noisy
Central location, and not bad value, but the only concern was the lack of soundproofing, as the TV from the next room coming loud and clear in the room. Other than that it was good.
Okay for a layover
Don't be fooled by the first look of the hotel. The exterior looks better than the rooms! The pool is great though, as the days in Mexico and Merida can be exhaustingly hot. As for the rooms, very very basic are the words I'd use. Nonetheless, I didn't need more, so I was happy with it, except for the weird "dirty water" smell they seemed to have washed the floors with. No complimentary shampoo, only soap. Oh, and don't pay for the breakfast if you're given the option; cereals and toast only! Walk a little more and near the Santa Lucia square, you'll find plenty of options for breakfast. I recommend the Cartas a Frida, on Calle 55. 110 pesos for a buffet style breakfast (including yummy make-your-own waffles, yogurts, fruits, bread) + one choice of main dish.
Low water pressure in bathrooms . ............
6 blocks to main sq, good area
wanted 1. pillow and sheet, they provided with out question
Is not a good hotel!'
No elevator at the hotel and nobody to help you with the suitcases!!
Good value hotel
Good value for money hotel, friendly staff, nice pool to sit by,room was clean decent bed, nice bathroom, away from road so nice and peaceful to,10 min walk to centre of town,5 mins to 2nd class bus station, enjoyed my stay, especially sat in warm sun by pool.
Inexpensive but you get what you pay for
This hotel would be considered basic to most North Americans. However it is clean and close to Centro which is an advantage. I am not the type of traveller to stay in American style hotels when I am in Central America so this review is based on my preferences for local flavour. It is also very reasonable. There is a pool which is very nice on a hot day. However there are no steps into the pool so it can be a challenge to get in and out depending on your physical ability. You can purchase breakfast and snack items in the lobby. There is free wifi which is nice to have.
Not what I expected, no elevator.
we paid 21 days in advance but were gone 1/2 the time to other cities too far away to come back so paid for another hotel where we were. while gone staff chose to come into our paid room and remove a bed because they needed it. It was our room and other than house keeping cleaning it they should not have taken anything out of it. What if I had hidden money under the mattress? Which I commonly do. I put extra money in various locations so if robbed I'm not totally broke. The woman at the front desk didn't seem to care she violated our rental agreement and our trust in there hotel. We got there at 11pm I requested through Orbitz a 1st floor due to disability. They put us on 3rd floor and next morning moved to 1st floor. 3rd floor not as clean as the 1st floor. when they moved us to 1st floor if it wasn't better I was going to change hotels.
good option
everything good
Used it for two nights. clean safe walking distance to center
Good price for a decent hotel with great pool.
The hotel is located about 5 blocks (10 minute walk) from the Catedral and some good restaurants. The place itself is clean, has some limited food you can buy and is secure. They have a beautiful pool that you should take advantage of to beat the heat. The only negative we had is that they do not have any ice on the premises.
Not a very nice place to stay
The room was dirty, with blood marks all over the walls from dead mosquitoes .... Internet was excellent and the swimming pool nice.
old and tired hotel. Good value for money.
excelente servicio.
Trato agradable y personal eficiente
Get what you pay for. Good stuff!
Went for two nights to see Merida and the surrounding area with Progreso. Had never been to Merida before and the selection of various cheap hotels was wast but chose this one due to the pool. The hotel was easy to find walking from the ADO bus-station and since I arrived early I had to wait but no problem using the pool. No one in the reception spoke English so good to know basic Spanish (like everywhere in Mexico obviously) My room was old but in decent condition, everything worked, hot water, clean towels and so on. Even AC was cold and ncie but didn't use it. Location is great walking 5-10 minutes to restaurants, bars, little shops. The hotel could certainly use some renovations and upgrades but then again, you get what you paid for and what I paid for is great value for money! Nice big pool with sun most of the day which is nice in Merida where there is no beach to go to.
Aseo diario, y lugar confortable

The people at the front desk were rude, with the exception of 1 guy, i would never stay there again
