Perfect Location but room for improvement
The hotel is a lovely looking hotel and in the perfect location to see the sites. We got there in the morning and checked in, which was quick, easy and its nice not having to lug your bags around until your actual room is available. Staff were very polite, efficient and seemed to know what they were doing. We stayed in the triple room which consisted of a double and a single bed. The rooms are not spacious like most UK hotels but are standard for London and the prices are twice that of most UK hotels but again seem average for London. The only criticisms I had with the hotel are... *heating was too warm all over the hotel and in the room, use the thermostatic valves and save money, it'll be perfect in winter, I do understand why the heating was on though as the old sash windows can be drafty *room needs a deep clean, we moved the beds to make more space and it looked like everything had been swept under the bed, mould on silicon in bathroom (this is standard in most peoples homes) *view, when booking it said city view, but there wasn't a view as you couldn't see through the privacy glass, even when opened it was just the backs of the buildings (technically the hotels in the city so any view could be classed as city view even a brick wall) *noise, the location is very quiet but there was a fan or something running all night, if anything it helped me sleep but for others is could keep them awake *A/C, no aircon, I dread to think what summers like staying here.
Beautiful hotel with excellent staff we will definitely stay again
Location, close to shopping and centre
capital visit
Upgraded room, really helpful and friendly staff. Great location, with numerous bars and restaurants minutes away.
Ace
A fantastically located hotel which was. Dry reasonably priced and also good quality.
Average stay
Quite a small room in the basement - small double bed that was a bit soft. Advertised with breakfast but only found out at the hotel that it was continental and that a full English was an extra cost. So in short disappointed - probably OK for a single person to stay in.
Great location for theatre nights, 15-20 mins walk to Shaftesbury Avenue and Leicester Square, 10 mins walk to Soho n lovely restaurants and pubs only a couple of minutes walk. Staff are friendly and so helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent service and Location
Excellent sevice, wonderful staff. very good room, has everything, reported issue with bathroom light flicker, was attended to promptly. Highly recomended location, excellent for shopping and connections all London areas, tasty restaurants around the area (persian). reasobnable rate for a london stay.
Brilliant hotel pretty much in the heart of Oxford Circus. Great being by the bbc building. Hotel room itself was fine. Windows were single glazed so noise could be heard outside from pedestrians and traffic etc and was abit of a cold draft
Great value for money, brilliant location, nice quiet hotel
Amazing hotel
Everything was clean, well kept and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. For my size (6'3" & 225lbs), the narrow hallways, small room, and small shower are a slight inconvenience, but the stay was great!
The hotel is really striking from the outside and is lovely and clean inside. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and happy to book our bag in early so we could go sightseeing The twin room was big enough for 2 of us and clean. The hotel is at the quiet end of regent and Oxford which suited us perfectly. There were plenty of gorgeous places to eat nearby as well. All in all a gem of a find 😀
Great
Great location, clean and tidy
The hotel was in a good position and there are some great little restaurants and bars nearby. Walking distance to the British Museum. Bedrooms were compact but nicely decorated and very clean. Would book this hotel again.
Moved to different hotel!
Booked Gem Langham. To be told they had overbooked and was moved to gem fitzrovia. Had i wanted to stay there i woukd have booked this. Stressful and inconvenient when speaking at a connference early evening. Free breakfast as compensation appreciated, but i didnt stay where i had a booking.
I loved the Langham Court. A lovely historic building with very helpful and friendly staff. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and an easy walk to historic locales and good shopping. I’ll definitely be back!
We had a great staywith added bonus of our room being upgraded. The staff were really helpful, lovely comfy bed - the room was very clean complete with tea/coffee making supplies. Our only comment would be paintwork in the bathroom could do with freshening up
Loved staying here, very quaint and romantic
I liked it's central position. So accessible to what we wanted to see.Staff very friendly and so eager to help.Meals available at hotel but so close to many eateries, choice unlimited Nice place to stay with village atmosphere in the city.
Charming hotel in a fabulous location.
This is a charming little hotel in a great area of London. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfectly formed, but thats just London room sizes for you, nothing unusual there. Nicely decorated and well stocked with Tea, coffee, shampoo, soaps etc. I had read lots of reviewers marking the hotel down on ‘lack of air conditioning’ but they don’t advertise having it so that is just bad research on there part in my opinion. What they have to compensate for that is a desk fan which gives a nice breeze should the room be a little hot… i did use mine and it helped immensely. I really did like my room and was very happy with it. My only criticism would be the bed I found very hard (even with the topper). Also perhaps consider having an addition sheet under the duvet in the summer months as the duvet did feel very heavy for the temperature outside. However the big question would i stay again… absolutely!
Adequate
We had room LG8 in the basement. It was small, but adequate.
Was ok but the rooms were very tiny and there was no air conditioning
Did not meet expectations
The photos are quite deceiving. Whilst the outside of the building is fresh and clean, the rooms are dated and underwhelming. Our room was very hot with no air con. The bed was clean and comfortable but there were some stains on the towels. We had to ask for coffee as this hadn't been refilled in the room.
Very enjoyable stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel had a ‘homely’ feel which you don’t usually have at a large hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel as the area was safe, quiet and had a couple of eateries close by.
Home from home in the west end
Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly… nothing was too much trouble… especially the reception people. The room carpet could have been a bit cleaner but overall the room was good ( slightly smaller than expected) and the bathroom spotless . I was a little surprised there was no air con for a hotel of that grade especially as it was hot … but a fan was provided which definitely helped . I have stayed in the past and the rooms have been upgraded/ modernised since then so I would definitely stay there again . Overall a pleasant experience.
NO AIR CONDITIONER!!!!! Definitely not a 4 star hotel!!! Over rate. Room itself was pleasant and fine. But No A/C was shocking in modern hotel, no fridge as well.
The hotel is in a beautiful old 19 century building, but the comfort is also according to 19 century standards, The area is very nice, with plenty of dining options, in a walking distance to Soho. The hotel lobby is very cosy, with a small bar, but the rooms are tiny. They would be OK for one person, but to tight for two. The elevator is very old, and for some reason did not work properly at our floor. The breakfast was very nice. So overall it was OK for a two-night stay, but if I had to stay longer I would move to another hotel.
Very cramped quarters. From the one tiny elevator to tiny room.
Very very small twin room and bathroom .. beds a bit hard too !
The service/ communication unfortunately was quite poor, the whole time. I'd avoid it if you're on a business trip or tourism.
Loved our stat
Lovely staff, but not great room placement
Staff were lovely and friendly, very clean and efficient. However, couldn’t have the blinds open in the room as it backed on to some sort of store area which meant staff were literally walking past the window. Not very relaxing if you’re trying to relax in bed or worse using the toilet! We could also hear what sounded like a tumble dryer all night. The continental breakfast was very lack lustre. The pastries were small and not much choice tea was already brewed in a canister and the coffee offer was only filter. No choice in milk either. It’s a shame about the room because the staff were great and very welcoming. I would stay again on the proviso that I had a different room but I would buy breakfast elsewhere
It would have been better if the lift was working properly. It was very slow and would not go down to ground floor from most of the upper floors. Otherwise stay was great.
Great stay at the Langham Court hotel, very central location
The location is great for all things Central London, and there are lots of places in the area to eat breakfast. (Hotel breakfast is in the basement and a bit pricey.) The rooms could do with a bit of refurbishing, but they were clean. I'm not sure it's a hotel to stay in when the weather is warm as there did not seem to be any airco. However, the area is quiet and the windows open.
Disappointed with room upgrade
Reception staff friendly and polite. Room very small, although we were told it was an upgrade to 3 beds and larger room, Single bed was extremely hard. (3 people would struggle to stay in this room due to size). There was no air conditioning and no windows opened, therefore stifling hot overnight.
The place not to stay in Westminster
Check in was a farce , booking in the restaurant, we booked on line and had to reconfirm 6 times with 4 different people, they pre authorised our card and then said could not pay for items via booking to our room. An absolute joke of a hotel - with a babybel on a £11 per person cheese board
going underground
I have stayed here a lot, as it is a good location for my London office, however, the is the first time I have stayed in the basement! A window but no view and very noisy in the morning. TV worked but had no access to any TV channels very disappointing
Room was very small and shower as well . Could barely move inside. Ok hotel.
Booked this hotel due to how to the walking distance to Oxford Street. Would highly recommend
The breakfast we paid for did not include hot food, cost an extra fee per day. Rooms did not have any plugs close by the bed, nor in the bathroom. Not the most pleasant staff either, wouldn't recommend this hotel at all to be honest.
My girlfriend and I just stayed here, and the staff is super polite and on top of any request as best they can. The room was small but very well-upgraded and super clean. It was the perfect little spot overlooking Langham Street and the mellow but active city life, pubs, and shops below.
Good hotel tiny room!
We thought the size of the room was very small for what was meant to be a superior room, hardly enough space between the bottom of the bed and the wall where the TV is to get passed especially in the dark. Everything else was good breakfast was very nice worth the upgrade to full english.
A very good stay but room could have beeb bigger for the price. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice.
Handy Location
Great location, service is excellent. Like many hotel rooms in London they are very small. We were in a basement room which was quite noisy as we were close to the breakfast room. It was also quite a warm room but, overall it was OK.
I would never suggested staying here because of the condition of the room and the terrible beds. I couldn’t believe it felt like sleeping on a box spring. And the linens were stained and torn. Absolutely no frills. But the staff was excellent!
Very convenient for shopping & the Dominion theatre. Continental breakfast was superb. Found the heating control panel to the room a little difficult to operate but got there in the end.
Lovely location for soho and Oxford street. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Very clean modern room and a great nights sleep ☺️
Hotel is centrally located. Close to Oxford and Regent Streets. Good restaurants near by. Helpful staff. Clean rooms.
Excellent location
No doubt the location was one of the key factors to choose this hotel 10 mins walking to major attractions. Clean and comfortable as well. Definitely, I will return.
The rooms was very very small..the smell of the hotel was very bad especially in the elevator..no ventilation and no concierge
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are very rude and the rooms are tiny.
Lovely place
Not sure why so many reviews on google mention rude staff, they were all so lovely and helpful! Stayed one night and it was perfect for that. Really close to Oxford St/soho, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Some lovely cafes around the corner (Scandinavian Kitchen is lovely). Only "issue" was that the bed was quite hard for my liking.. but other than that great.
Nice room and friendly staff. Many thanks
Great location, comfortable hotel
Great location within easy walking distance of Oxford Street, Palladium, BBC etc. No view from our room but it was clean and comfortable. Bathroom very compact but functional.
1 night business trip
Perfect for my 1 night business stay. Clean, comfortable rooms and excellent service from friendly welcoming staff. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to stay a little longer
Great Location
Twin rooms not appropriate
We booked this hotel as a twin room, for a work social event for 2 work colleagues. The room was not a twin room in any way. There was a double bed and a fold out child’s bed stuck in the corner, which for 2 guys of 6 foot plus was not suitable or appropriate. I had to lie with my feet hanging off the bed unable to sleep for the whole night.
For the price of the room, there was no safe or mini fridge. I wouldnt say its a 4 star hotel. Im convinced my room was haunted. The location is great... close to oxford street and transportation.

Great Location and Quality Service
Great central location near Oxford Circus, many good restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. Great service and the staff was courteous, professional and friendly. The hotel room itself is small but sufficient. Overall, great stay!
I found the hotel OK. Breakfast was poor. Location was ok for what I wanted. I found staff difficult to deal with - poor communication skills and definitely not friendly
The staff were friendly, property was clean and we did not try any catering but we could not believe this is a 4star hotel - the upgraded 'executive twin' room was so small it was difficult to walk around the beds, tiny surface on whcih to put our things, very old-looking dark wood furniture, weather extremely hot when we were there and there was no air-con and we were only able to open the window a few cms so we barely slept as it was so hot and sticky.
The service was great, they were prompt with cleaning the room and did a great job. The location is unbeatable - so close to many tube stations and attractions with many dining options around. Overall great stay.
Decent hotel in central london
No safe inwardrobe
אני קיבלתי ביום הראשון חדר קטן לא כמו בהזמנה לאחר יום החליפו לי חדר המקלחת היתה קטנה אי אפשר לזוז
Bang for the bucks
“Bang for the bucks”. It is not an expensive place but for sure it is very price worthy. The staff is very service minded and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was absolutely ok. It is quite central of London. Normally I stay at more expensive places but if you want to save on the stay and use the money for pleasure, shopping or whatever - this is a great place to stay. Extra cudos for the service minded staff
Great location, only issue is the lack of AC. Made for very difficult sleeping conditions given the temp in London was close to 30C
Hotel with tiny rooms and non-air conditioned
The hotel was terrible, not only does the hotel Not have aircon even though it is stated as a 4 star hotel (we visited last week where temperatures were high), the room was so tiny, there was hardly any walking space after pushing both beds together and opening one luggage. The service staff was courteous but couldn’t do anything about a refund as we wanted to change hotel as it is too hot to stay in the room during the day. The breakfast included was not the full breakfast as it only includes cold stuff (continental) and requires a top up if you want full English breakfast like eggs and sausages. It felt like a scam as this was not highlighted anywhere in the booking. On the last two days of our stay, our room card went missing as it was left in the slot to keep the electricity on, and some clothing items was missing too. The hotel claim to check and revert to me within 48hrs as I am checking out, and today is already past 3days and yet nothing from the hotel. Please avoid this hotel at all course!
Rooms too small. Restaurant or bar were terrible.
The Langham Court Hotel is tucked into a neighborhood with pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Easy walk to Oxford Circus underground station with plenty of shopping. Quiet hotel; worked perfectly for us.
Clean good condition
Clean, good condition. Plenty of hot water. Single room tiny!
The room was very small had to climb over foot of bed to access the wardrobe etc. The tea making facility was poor a little box on wall very stiff to open. Small bathroom. Would be difficult to stay in this room if you had any problems with mobility.
Fabulous and friendly service from beginning to end. Room was high standard and very clean. Everything you would need. Also have a birthday treat which really made our friends birthday extra special. Triple room option was great. Thank you
Great location very friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean and nice and quiet, would definitely return
Great location and quiet area. Walkable to everything.
The location was good. The small size of the room was a major shortcoming.
Lovely hotel fairly priced for London.
Functional and pleasant.
Very functional stay. The speed of check-in and check out was outstanding. The staff were friendly. The room was v cramped (with dated furnishings), but fine for the price point and location. The bed was very firm, the shower was good. I would stay again for work.
Location and Wifi are both superb.
Family friendly in nice neighborhood
A comfortable, friendly and conveniently located hotel in a lively yet calm neighborhood. Recommended.
Small room
Room was very small but very neat and clean
Room was the smallest, tightest fit in our lives! Could barely get suitcases by bed to get them to other side of the room - we were told we were upgraded to a suite when we checked in! Would hate to see what a regular room looked like! Carpet all through hotels was old & dirty! Don’t know who gave this property 4 stars! I’ve stayed in the Sherlock Holmes on Baker Street & the accommodations were much nicer! Upon our return from Paris we stayed in Park Plaza by London Eye & what a difference in accommodations!
Good value
Nice hotel nothing too fancy but great for exploring London without paying 500 quid for the night
Great location for shopping and theatre Beds are very hard though ok if you like a very firm mattress though. Breakfast choice great. Lovely and clean. Thank you
Great! Will definitely come again!
It was lovely very helpful staff, good breakfast, warm, comfortable
Great location
There was something weird about having to ring downstairs to get drinking water in your room. Why not just have bottles of water in the rooms?
Disappointed with room
Location was great, staff at reception attentive. Room was tiny and not really fit for purpose. Wanted to have everything in it but just to small. No view or air so room stuffy. Bathroom was farcically small and anyone of size or wheel chair bound would be unable to use. Climb to get in bath to shower was precarious if not of a young and agile age. Spent as little time as possible in the room as not an enjoyable space. Breakfast was £20 per person which is a crazy price.
Would stay again location perfect
The staff was exceptional and the location was perfect. Short walk to subway. The restaurants were close by and a wonderful pub directly across the street. Breakfast was wonderful and included in our stay.
The receptioni
Comically Small - felt like staying in an episode of Fawlty Towers. There was a desk with a chair, but you couldn’t actually pull the chair out enough to sit down because it was 6 inches from the end of the bed. 2 of the 4 walls titled inward, so in such a tiny space it felt like the walls were falling in on you. Cannot imagine a large person trying the manoeuvre in this room.
I like the Langham Court Hospitality the most. Only thing was that it was not airconditioned as the weather is hot. This is the only disadvantage.
Room not clean
Very quaint small hotel in the center of the city around the corner from Oxford street , train station several restaurants on and around the street corner. Staff very friendly and helpful breakfast was a normal American/English breakfast you can walk to all the major landmarks from this hotel and the underground subway station overall loved staying here it was incredibly safe and comfortable

Pleasant Stay
Great value for money. Continental breakfast was plentiful and a very competitive price to upgrade for a cooked breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bottled water in the room would have been nice. Location of hotel was very convenient for us.
