Great place
Beautiful room. Lovely little deck. Comfortable beds. It was the perfect location for fishing
I recently had the pleasure of book two rooms (room 125 and 126) at Land’s End Resort and overall, my experience was highly positive. Upon arrival, I did encounter a minor inconvenience—my room’s refrigerator was non-functional. However, I was impressed with how efficiently the issue was resolved. After informing the front desk, the maintenance team responded promptly with a replacement refrigerator. The technician who handled the issue demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a customer-first attitude. He was not only technically proficient but also personable and easy to engage with—an excellent representative of the resort’s commitment to guest satisfaction. In my opinion, his performance merits recognition and consideration for advancement. Kudos to the Land’s End team for turning a potential negative into a seamless, positive experience. I look forward to returning.

Overall it was a great experience. Staff was friendly, place was clean. I gave 4 star because we had the kids with us and we were suppose to get 1hr of pool time but it was cut short to only 40 minutes. The kids were bummed about that. Our microwave did not work but as soon as we told them they replaced it with another one.
Amazing views, friendly services 👏
Currently has construction/addition going on, quiet at night. Great view of the harbor, sea otter near the shore!! Enjoyed the hot tub too
The bed in our room needs to be replaced and the weight of the bed coverings needs to somehow be lightened up.
Currently under some construction but the ocean views are breathtaking and rooms are very nice. I’m excited to go back after construction is completed.
Loved that its right on the water of kachemak bay
I highly recommend the Lands End. The room we had (336) was amazing! Nice sauna and jacuzzi. beautiful view of the bayfront, beautiful patio to go outside and watch the boats come in. Amazing staff, very cooperative and helpful on assisting us of our needs. best hotel that I’ve been to so far.
One of the prettiest places in the world!
Prices are affordable in the winter months
Good winter stay
Nice place
Nice place!
Nice hotel at the end of the spit. I really enjoyed the amazing view. The beds were pretty comfortable and the room itself was cozy. I really liked that the windows opened and there was a balcony to enjoy the fresh air outside. The drink vending machine was out of the healthier choices so options were limited. Overall we had a good stay and would love to book again in the future.
Fabulous ocean views
Late Sept. / "24" hotel stay - 3 days, Very Good
Room was very clean & organized .. linens bedding were of good quality .. appreciated the use of the small coffee pot .. I was quite pleased with my three day stay .. would stay again / recommend to friends !! .. The view of the Harbor / boats from my room window was World-Class !!
Love the hot tub being outside!
Location
Everything was good except no ports to plug in phones or electronics
Nice hotel building, but with only one elevator that was far oway from the room. The room was very tiny for thei high Price that was paid. The restaurant food was adequate, but nothing extra. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Restaurants closed. No where to get dinner
Great location!!!
No change out of towels, sheets, toilet paper, soap in a 4 night stay
Beautiful location!
FRIENDLY STAFF, EASY CHECK IN, AMAZING VIEW RIGHT FROM OUR WINDOW WE COULD SEE OTTERS SWIMMING BY AND BEAUTIFUL BIRDS AND THE SOUND OF THE WATER.
Great place for relaxation
Great view from our room on 2nd floor. Nice little balcony and big picture window looking out on Kachemak Bay. Small table and place to sit Hot tub is reservable with great view. Staff friendly and helpful.
Great property! Looking forward to a return trip!
The employees were very helpful. The food was great. Rooms clean and comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The view of the bay was stunning. Room was comfortable. Good shower. Linens top quality. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Anything we needed was available at the front desk. Condo style facility. Over priced for end of season but nice. Would stay here again but shop for it differently. Needs a screen on back patio door so the ocean sounds can be heard.
Great place to stay!!!!!!
Love having a bay view from our deck. Just wish the deck rails were a little lower or chairs on deck were higher. Couldn’t sit down and enjoy the view.
Just what I expected. Rustic place on the shore of the land’s end. The view off the back porch is quintessential Alaskan.
We were all so excited at the location out on the Homer spit. Nothing you could do about all rain but we had a blast anyway!!
Eautiful spot
Check in was a disaster. The first lady to assist us was new and we were ok with her going slow. But when the senior lady came over to answer a question she had, it quickly went down hill. Senior lady was very rude and loud and very condescending to the first lady. She ended up making the same error as the first one and so the process dragged on. Our keys did not work so we had to return to the front desk and Vikki was no less unpleasant. Not one apology. The room was sparsely appointed and had no closet. Bathroom was stark with a pedestal sink with no place to put anything. No screen on the sliding door. No luggage stands. No heat control. No housekeeping in the mornings. And this was not a cheap hotel. Lucky for us the Homer Spit made up for all the Lands End lacked. As did the Three Moose Kayak Adventures made up for it 1000 times. Highly recommend this tour.
Lodge had been smoked in and was very noticeable. Front desk staff was rather condescending about it Not a dealbreaker, but do not feel like the property as a whole was up to the pricing
Very old property, rooms are tiny/dingy but cannot beat the location - absolutely unreal place. Staff is helpful but the facilities are basic at best
Homer wonderful town
Homer is a wonderful town! Lands End is right in the middle of it. Staff was excellent.
Noisy neighbors
Location is amazing. Loud music next door at 3 am. I called the front desk ant anpp 3:30 am to inform them that there’s a violation of their ‘quiet time’ policy. Although she said she would take care of the problem, music continued until approximately 4:30 AM.
We loved staying here!!
Very beautiful, would stay again
It is an awesome property with plenty of parking and gorgeous views. Their buffet breakfast was not up to par but everything else was great
👍
great location with wonderful views, rooms were good, front desk was not the nicest or most helpful but overall a good experience
The hotel has an excellent location. We could walk to the tour departure area .. it's about 1 mile. Restaurants are very close to the hotel. Our room was small but clean.
It was great other then you don’t clean rooms everyday was there 6 days and didn’t get room cleaned once
Great location.
Lovely view
Loved the view!
This "condo" was the ultimate in Alaskan luxury. We were like kids in a candy store. The view has no match. The weather was too bad to go on our Halibut charter, but that was just fine. We really enjoyed the many comforts of this property and relaxed. Definitely will book again.
The staff were extremely friendly and the room was clean.
Beautiful view
Great views!
Enjoyed the view and restaurant. It rained so pur outdoor time was limited.
beautiful setting
the location and the room was amazing. we got the 2 room suite. hear the gulls and the waves crashing. the setting was perfect. that said, we were there 3 nights and did not have any housekeeping come through. the bathroom wasn’t clean in the corners or behind the toilet and there were dead bugs in the window sill. the beds are very comfortable and the Chart Room restaurant was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend going there!!!
Very nice property on prime ocean front location. Incredible views!
Beautiful location, needs improvement.
We started going 5 years ago and rooms were awesome. They are bit tired last couple of years. Carpet bit worn out and plumbing fixtures needing attention. Not as clean as it used to be. All of this not huge but if you are paying over $400 a night it is a bit of a problem. You are definitely paying for its great location. I will be back but hopefully some of these items get some attention in future.
Nice room with great bedding. Our view of the Bay was wonderful. Our check in was a little rushed and we were not told where many of the amenities and restaurant was located. Coffee?
Our visit to Lands End Resort was excellent. We travelled with children, ages 12 and 14 who loved the pool and hot tub. The location at the end of the Homer spit was incredible! We had amazing views and access to the beach for walking and fishing. Caught fish right off the beach and found shells and starfish in the mornings. Room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated room darkening shades. No air conditioning but all room have fans; with ocean breeze room temp was very comfortable. Small fridge in room was a nice bonus. Only thing that could make it better would be free coffee for hotel guests.
Worth every penny! Pricless view. Accomadations wonderful. May be a little pricey for some, but with bay view incredible. So clean and easy walking to large variety of water activities, shopping of local venders.
Great location
Great location with an excellent view. Our "balcony" was just enough size to fit 2 chairs but to get in then had to do some jockeying around. The room was comfortable.
Very nice and clean, check in is 4pm and was available at 5pm, assuming like many places issues that are unable to find enough good help. They didn't really say why check in was late.
Room was clean . Check in was late but it’s the busy season. The hot tub was a nice bonus. It’s so nice after a rough day of fishing. Everyone was very helpful from housekeeping up the ladder.
We requested housekeeping refresh the room twice during our four day stay. They never came. We had to go to front desk to request toilet paper, towels, coffee, creamer, cups, etc. The toilet was leaking in our room and the whole room smelled of mildew. The room was too hot and we opened the window while in the room, but did not want it open in first floor room at night or while gone. This room was way to expensive for this type of customer service. There was always only one person at the front desk who had to handle everything from check-in to security checks to phone calls to escorting people to the hot tub. The location is nice, but that is all.
All staff members were very friendly, rare these days in hospitality. I booked a bay view room, will do that again, just magical. Breakfast was not my favorite, but there are many options at the spit. The resort is at the end of the spit and you fall out directly at the beach, no matter the weather, just beautiful and a must to visit when in Homer.
Beautiful view from the end of the spit. We picked this property so we could walk to ferry to Halibut Cove for dinner and to halibut fishing excursion as we didn’t have a car. Besides the convenience, we had a cute, comfortable room with a deck looking out at an unparalleled view.
Great view over the bay and lots of places to eat within walking distance
Very nice comfortable room with a balcony and a great view. Restaurant was great as well. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful location
Go somewhere else for the money.
Hotel is nice place but for 500 a day you get no service . Requested housekeeping evary 3 days didnt happen . I stayed 7 nights and got no service . We had to go to front desk to request t.p. towels . And take out the garbage and try to find somewhere to put it . We used rave about going to lands end but not anymore .

Homer Trip
Our room Was so cute. There was a small patio with chairs and over looked the beach and water.
Stay was amazing with a beautiful view. So far one of the the best places ive stayed at.
Room was small especially for the price, but the priceless view made up for its,
View is amazing
Being on the water and beach
Beautiful view from the hotel, best I’ve seen!
Very helpful staff. Clean. Quiet
Wonderful place to stay in Homer
When we walked into the room I was thrilled. It completely met my expectations from the photos online. The view was incredible and we loved sitting in the chairs in front of the big window watching the boats go in and out, people fishing and walking along the beach, and the incredible view. The room and bed were very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. We went to the restaurant the first night and liked it so much we went back the next night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I went back to Homer again.
Homer wonderful town
Homer is a wonderful town! Lands End is right in the middle of it. Staff was excellent.
Beautiful property on the end of the spit away from all the hustle and bustle of the touristy shopping/restaurants. Balcony has a beautiful view and we spotted seals and otters (with binoculars) from the room. Very quiet. Shower didn’t drain well. Would stay here again.
It was nice to stay close to the water. Very calming. All staff was very accommodating.
We loved our stay! All the rooms have a gorgeous view of Kachemak Bay, the mountains, and the beach in the foreground. Our room had a bay window sitting area and a private porch. (Less expensive rooms may not have this feature - I'm not sure.) The food in the dining room was excellent, as was the full breakfast buffet, and the service was also great.
Loved the location
Our room was on the 3rd floor. The view was amazing. We had a small balcony, wish the door had a screen on it. We sat every night and stared at the water with the many boats going out and coming in. Location is perfect.
The location is fantastic. The room we had was very large and spacious with beautiful big windows and sliding glass doors out to the beach. The bathroom was VERY small with only a pedestal sink which was inconvenient. The room included a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. The receptionist at the front desk was very strange, unfriendly, unclear and unhelpful. It was if she wasn't present or listening. She neglected to tell us things or told us things that weren't correct. When we asked for restaurant recommendations that were open during the hours we needed she handed us a printed list and then put check marks next to the names of the places. One of the places was the hotel's restaurant but she did not tell us that it was just down the hall in the hotel and was their restaurant so we got in our car to drive to it to find out that it was just steps from the reception desk where we had been. Why she didn't just point down the hall and say it was their restaurant I don't understand. It also turned out that many of the restaurants she had recommended were not actually open. She specifically told us we had to wash the dishes in our room before checking out When we got to our room there were no dishes, kitchen or any kitchen sink to wash dishes in if there were any. When we asked where our room was she vaguely gestured to someplace outside the reception area as if we had been to the resort before. Feel free to contact me for more info. as I have more to share.
It’s expensive and the room was pretty old. We could hear the people above us most of the night.
What a view!
Location Location Location! Enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend. Room was perfect with comfortable bed and all the amenities that we would need. Only downside is noise of fishing boats in the morning. We walked along the water each day. Enjoyed the shopping and eating!
Great location
Spent 3 nights here, close to shops and dining options, loved the onset coffee shop
Wonderful
Love Homer Spit
Great location plus right by the shops and restaurants.
The view was very good. I was expecting the balcony to be bigger than it was. It could only fit two chairs, tight together, on the balcony. You could not see over the railing so when you sat down you just were looking at boards. They did have like a bay window in the room which over looked the water. Very comfortable chairs.
Terrific place!
Amazing! The views from our room were nothing short of spectacular, made better only by the two comfortable chairs to look out large window. The beds were terrific and the room was spacious and in great shape. Strongly recommend this terrific hotel.
Excellent stay. Loved the location.
We opted for a room with a view and it was tremendous!
