Very outdated and rundown,Door to Bure has a huge gap and doesn’t seal properly so the bugs get in shower was broken and coming out of wall staff good but facilities are very limited we booked for seven days and stayed one night and left to go to another resort and they will not issue a refund

They have a pool table but there are no tips onthe cues an exercise bike in the exercise room that needs to be plugged in. The amenities all seem sub par

This property could be great, and I'm sure it was back when it was first built but it's been left to fall into a state of disrepair while the prices continue to reflect the high-end resort it likely once was. The staff are pleasant but the activities run by the resort are haphazard and inconsistent despite being written up on the board each day. For a remote resort, activities to keep the guests entertained should be a prime focus. The bar area needs some TLC - the swim up bar is completely out of action and looks like it has been for some time. Overall, our stay was okay and just that.

Great staff & right in front of the beach. However be aware that the rooms garden view have no private at all if you have neighbors. You can hear literally anything. Also, free WiFi information isn’t accurate. They give you a pass for 24 hours and that’s it. Be careful when booking the rooms, as the suite isn’t a garden or beach view—it’s located in the reception area and doesn’t match the photos provided Hotel is a little bit isolated, so renting a car is a good option. I can’t complain about staff, they are lovely, helpful and made our stay much better.

Very friendly and approachable staff. Room was a good size and did not feel cramped.

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The only downside was the cost of the meals was a little steep when converted to Canadian $. When you are forced to eat there everyday (as no other restaurants close by) this becomes quite expensive.

Myself and four others stayed and each room needed a bit of TLC, the staff were fantastic they made our holiday memorable, the food was average and pricey we felt. It was nice and quiet.

The individual units are very nice. The queen bed had two single mattress, but that was not a problem for us. Great breakfast, with all the options, Very friendly staff, we liked the pool n beach as well.

This is the place to come if you truly want to unwind and relax. It is peaceful as peaceful can be. The staff are very genuine and friendly and go the extra mile to accommodate you and your needs. We had a very early check-in and checkout, and they graciously supported us with that without hesitation. Staff really had your best interests at heart at all times.

The staff and service are what makes this place. If you want to relax on the beach or swim in the pool and have a quiet holiday this is your place. What lets them down is the advertising of activities that didn’t happen, the lack of information in room like buses, taxis, that you can get room service. A few minor fine tweaks could make it even better, but price for value was spot on.

Peace and quiet...solitude

The property was beautiful. The private pool for the bure was dirty and bathroom sink blocked for whole stay. Internet didn't work, and no one bothered to get it fixed. Was there for 2 nights. Got charged for happy hour drinks at check out. The road to get there was very bad.

My husband and I loved the property. The place was clean and safe. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were attentive and friendly. We stayed at a fancy hotel afterwords and ended up returning because the service couldn’t compete. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful Location, But Lacking in Amenities The resort is in a gorgeous spot, literally right on the beach! The views are amazing, but there's not much around the hotel—no shops or anything you can walk to, and only one restaurant on-site. If you're looking for a quiet holiday to just relax by the beach or pool and unwind without being disturbed, this place is great. However, if you're someone who likes exploring or needs more to do, this place is not the best choice. We stayed in a hotel suite, but the king bed was just two single beds pushed together, which was really uncomfortable, the mattresses were very poor quality and the pillows weren't great either. The room cleaning wasn’t up to standard. On the plus side, the resort is very laid-back, and they offer free kayaks, which we enjoyed. There’s also a pool table, and we spent a lot of time playing since there wasn’t much else to do. We did some fun tours, but on the days we didn't go on tour we stayed at the hotel, because taxis are quite expensive over there, and the hotel is very far from anything Overall, we didn’t hate our stay as going on a holiday is always great, but we wouldn’t book here again.

Fantastic, quiet adults only resort. Staff are wonderful and the food at the resort is great with a different menu each night. We would definitely stay there again.

My sister & I absolutely loved staying here. The staff were amazing and so kind, it made our stay so more enjoyable. The food was amazing and so were drinks. We were there for a short time so I can’t wait to go back and try the activities they have. Overall, such a beautiful stay and high recommend!

Staff very friendly. Nemo in particular was excellent. The grounds are a bit long in the tooth and restaurant area could use some ambiance.

We had an awesome time in Fiji with Lander’s Bay and Resort as our home base. Located near First Landing, this resort is secluded, peaceful with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff at this resort, especially Mere and Solomon, were so kind, attentive and helpful. They epitomize the best of Fijian hospitality. We rented a van to travel to Nadi and Denarau Island for our excursions.

Wake up to the most beautiful view the bay is rarely windy or choppy, relaxing , excellent staff! 20 minutes from airport north. I will be going back!

My partner and I stayed at Lander's Bay twice during our time in Fiji--we originally planned to stay for a few days at the start of our vacation, but ended up coming back towards the end because we didn't like the other resort we were at! Lander's Bay was a dream for us--good dining options, amazing staff, nice pool, and beautiful view of the ocean. The resort was very calm during the day, as many people went out to do activities nearby. At night, there were a few more people but it still wasn't crowded or crazy--just the right amount of fun for any couple or friends that need a break! My partner and I loved Lander's Bay and its staff. We can't wait to return again.

Great position, but food was terrible and limited choice. TV wouldn't work and they didn't or couldn't fix it. Needs a lot of investment to bring up to standard. Also paths are rough and a health and safety issue.

Very isolated & lacked Fijian atmosphere. Music when played in dinning & pool area was way too loud. Rooms lack maintenence ie: blinds, poor bedside lights, no centre light bulb despite asking for one 3 times. Access to room was over the stony garden which is a safety hazzard. Meals were excellent. Nice big pool. Massages great. Very peaceful when loud music was turned down.

Adults only so was quiet and peaceful. Good choice of meals for 5 night stay. Cooked breakfast available and lunch options. Great pool and outlook with great staff service with Food and Beverage team taking time to learn and remember your name.

There was a burglary the night before we arrived in the cabin next to ours. The couple woke up at 4am to find a man with a knife in their cabin, looking for cash and jewelry There was no night security even after the event. Food was not good and very expensive. Staff were great, but would not recommend this resort

Nice and quiet resort including nice pool , adults only resort nice for relaxing and away from everything, the nearest shops is 20m drive and about 45 m drive to danerau island and the Marina but there is a nice restaurant near buy ( boat shed ) at the small marina approx 3 m drive . Staff was the best at the front desk , restaurant and chef and pool bar workers all are great and helpful. Only one issue we face that no tv in the rooms and no microwave but we have been told that they are working on it and it should be installed soon. We stayed for 8 days and we will come again .

quite out of the way, beach is nice on high tide , large clean pool ,rooms are large and comfy beds are firm , our room was not cleaned or beds done during our 2 days stay. staff was friendly and always laughing , but not very attentive to clients needs , forgetting to bring asked drinks , towels etc. as this is the only hotel within walking distance kitchen offerings need to be more diversified , you are dealing with international tourists not children . we are more demanding . fiji is an expensive destination ,in in a 3 star hotel charging over $300 a night .your workers are paid peanuts , yet managements charges 5 star accomodation . Next holiday VIETNAM here i come , 5 star hotels for $75 great food and some of the best beaches in the world . said it all . Vinaka !!

This is a hidden gem. Quiet. Beautiful beach. Nice staff. Shoutout to mama Lou! Only 1 restaurant but food is awesome. Got the pool bure. Like the outdoor shower. Romantic place for couples. Local owned. Definitely would come back.

On-site activities were limited (kayaking, swimming in the cove, spa massage or facials, etc.) But depends on the occupant. Pool was clean, beach was nice, room AC worked great, great shower pressure/hot water. If you need beach towels or life vests, or rental car/driver services, then you'll need to ask reception. No airport shuttle option from airport to hotel (no response via email or hotels.com) so had to set that up on our own. Food was a set menu daily. But a few options at nearby resorts within walking distance. The staff were super friendly and allowed us to stay on site until our departure to airport (super late check out was unexpected and we are grateful! ). About 45 mins to denarau port. Our pool side/beach view from patio was amazing. Thank you!

Lovely and quiet. Staff excellent and friendly. More comfortable furniture in the room and entertainment (TV or Radio) would've made a more relaxing time.

The property is in severe need of repair. Cracks in sinks, chipped paint, broken equipment in gym room that can barely be called a gym. This is the responsibility of the Owner of said property. You cannot charge people upto $400 plus a night and the property is not up to date. The roofs of the burres need paint. The so-called pools for each burre is barely a dip pool. The staff was lovley. I hold the Owner responsible for the lackluster of the property..

Great place to stay. Far away from any local amenities or restaurants. Restaurant has very limited menu options so not ideal. Rooms are comfortable and neat. Blinds are broken so couldn’t close them properly. Single beds don’t have any duvets on it. Just sheets. Overall stay was still good.

The staff were lovely. The rooms are a bit tired and needs some maintenance. We had a pool bure - the pool was murky on arrival but we asked them if they could clean it and they did. Housekeeping only comes every few days and will only provide clean towels or sheets if you ask. The bed was very firm but a mattress topper would be an easy fix. Lovely quiet outlook.

Beautiful beach

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet stay. I visited for a day long layover, enjoyed the pool and amazing beach. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, the shower was strong, and the staff were all lovely. Wish I'd had time to stay longer and would have used the kayaks.

Stayed here on our way to NZ for 4 days. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The resort is beautiful with great sunsets every night. The amenities were great, we rented kayaks, the staff were able to book tours for us and transportation. The food is amazing, great hot breakfast every morning and the vakalolo was delicious! The staff were so friendly, the bartender, Atu, was awesome! Would highly recommend staying here!

This is a great place to stay only a few issues need to upgraded Beds. Internet and Food selection/preparation.

Loved that it’s adults only, the room was clean and a great size . Very peaceful setting & great staff, very friendly and helpful and eager to please. Gardens need weeding and some of the decks on beach front need some repairs . Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night and found the staff lovely and helpful. We felt well looked after at all times. The resort was quiet and pleasant.

Landers bay was a good place to go for some r and r before our trip around the main island of fiji. The staff were friendly the room was clean tidy and as advertised to us. The property was quiet and the menu which changed each night was full of options and tasty. It has a bar and a huge swimming pool over looking the sea. We were able to help ourselves free of charge to the kayaks and life jackets which was awesome.

Landers Bay was very peaceful & relaxing. Great to get away from crowds of people While menus were limited had good choices.Tuesday pizza night was terrific one of the best. & largest ever had. Didn’t walk away hungry

I booked 4 days of beach front bure but when i checked in without letting me know the receptionist place me in a regular room for the same cost for my upgraded room. When i went to the room i told them it's a wrong room. Than they told me all beachfront rooms are book and they will move me into beachfront room after 2 days also said they will refund our difference in cost (which they never did). So 2 days i was in regular bure than 2 days in beachfront bure. I was really disappointed with this situation.

The Bure were lovely well furnished and finished & reasonably maintained. The bed was like a concrete slab. There is something disjointed about the way this place is run. The rooms are well serviced. The evening restaurant & bar staff were brilliant. The hotel reception staff and management however seemed to be in disarray. For some reason the tour pick up wouldn’t come to Landers and we had to walk to a nearby resort to get a transfer. We tried unsuccessfully to book a massage & gave up after waiting around for over an hour. There are no real activities ( if that’s something you expect at a resort). If you’ve travelled a bit and enjoy a breakfast buffet this will probably disappoint, although they do redeem themselves by cooking eggs & omlettes to order. While we had a lovely stay and it’s a great spot I’m not sure I’d stay again or recommend to friends. It was more a sun of small thinks rather than any one thing.

So peaceful

This resort served us pretty well. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The day we arrived we showed up after dinner was finished but they still scrounged some food up for us. The room was comfortable with a great view. Our only challenges were the bed was rock hard, and there wasn't much walkable from the resort so we had to eat on their schedule.

Liked mostly everything, the Staff are wonderful, very happy to help especially when you forget your phone chargers! As a couple in our 70's we were in a hotel room which meant up and down stairs to restaurant and pool. No lift which is a chore with knee and hip issues. Omelettes are GREAT, you must have one. Vinaka Landers.

There were no TVs in rooms, rooms weren’t not cleaned everything day. The cups and utensils were not cleaned very well. We’re unable to lock the shower from inside as the showers were open to the air. Made me nervous and unable to relax at night.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful but limited with what they could offer from the menu. The pool and surrounds were excellent. The grounds were well kept but pathways needed a lot of attention.

Parking far Receptions high up

Coastal scenery was absolutely brilliant including sunset. Room condition such as bedding, pillows, air condition needs to be improved.

We spent five nights at this adults only paradise in a hotel style room. The room (131) was huge with plenty of space. Our room was behind reception so sometimes you heard comings and going’s but not annoying. There were approx seven couples staying at the same time which you saw mainly at mealtime. It was very peaceful, relaxing and tranquil. There was a different menu each day for lunch and dinner with meals being delicious and plentiful with variety. Chef Peni came out and said hello to diners most nights after cooking food. Breakfast was good which we ordered freshly cooked yummy omelettes and eggs. Staff were all wonderful and friendly. A special shout out to Princess Lea who took take to learn your name and greeted you every time you saw her with her beautiful smile and service. Marina 3 - 4 min up the road by car offers another meal option which was excellent and being a great spot for watching sunsets. Limited cultural experience compared to other resorts but other reviews did note them. Landers Bay resort is highly recommended if you looking for a relaxing peaceful holiday where you will be well looked after with good meals, staff and facilities. We will be back.

What a wonderful resort. Great food and drink. Absolutely lovely staff, so very friendly and accommodating. We forgot an electric charger adapter to Fiji current and the staff let us use their own personal charges for our phones. Water is warm and nice. The resort is a little hidden away but only 25 minutes from Nadi airport, about a 30-40 FD ride. They have great ocean front bungalows with private plunge pools. Great pool with swim up bar. Everything you would ever want in a resort.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Landers Bay Resort, the staff are extremely friendly and I recommend the onsite dining, it was brilliant! I also recommend the onsite hot stone massage, my best massage yet! What more do you want with your own private beach and no screaming children? It's a true getaway. Thanks to everyone at Landers Bay Resort.

Landers Bay was amazing!! But what was even better were the staff. They really make this place. I cannot wait to go back and see them all! Also, special mention to the chef. The food was amazing!!

Our bungalow and the surrounds were beautiful we were so looking forward to soaking it all in and then discovered we were right next door to a very loud indian wedding, how unfortunate. There were no bungalows left and too late to move. We did manage to find some earplugs and got some sleep.

Be booked to stay at Landers Bay, but it was actually called Fiji hideaway! Staff were very friendly but not trained. Chef couldn’t cook! Reception staff didn’t give information or answers. No free wifi for 8 out of 10 days so this was an Additional cost that made it very expensive for us. This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel for Free WIFI. We had to get a taxi most nights to eat elsewhere as food wasn’t good. No information booklet in the room to know what’s around the area, no room service etc. The swim up pool bar was closed. The pool was beautiful until it went green for 3 days so unusable. The room was lovely and big with Great ocean view and balcony. It could be amazing with the right management.

Liked the location- quiet and right by a nice beach and the staff were very hospitable! Did not like that the wifi did not work during my stay

January 2020 review

This resort's food was absolutely terrible until our last night there and it was only because I kept complaining that the chef was changed. We were lucky to have The Boatshed Restaurant down the road that nearly all the people staying there would go to eat. Another bad experience that we had was on the first night our air conditioning started leaking water. The wifi was terrible. The tv had nothing from the Fijian tv channels. The plunge pool in our Beach Bure wasn't cleaned until the 4th day of our stay.

The property was clean and very nice the rooms were good the staff were very helpful. The food was average and always was cold. It has the potential to be fantastic but the dining experience was not good. Would not recommend eating here. It is a shame as the property is very nice

Such a relaxing resort, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Food was great with a great variety of food and specials.

The staff at this resort were extremely friendly and accommodating. Despite being just 2 years old some maintenance would be welcome. Quite a number of tiles missing from the plunge pool at our ocean view bure and several of the sun lounges were broken.
