Not keen on the stairs

The rooms and furnishings could do with an upgrade.

Overall this property met our needs which was basically a value for money overnight stay.

Stay was fine, room wasn’t the cleanest. Toenail clippings on the floor in the bathroom. Good location.

Was told by reception we could get bar meals as restaurant was fully booked ,only 21 meals, then told by bar attendant the chef was to busy cooking 21 meals , not good as this motel is kms from town

cheap and had parking for our 7 metre trailer but rooms we comfy and tidy so happy with our choice

Excellent value for money, property is a bit dated but great location, friendly staff, good breakfast more than balances that.

Stayed 1 night as a stop over. We had room 125. Room was clean enough but the bed was way beyond its prime, being hard to sleep on and inner springs easily felt between the bottom layers. Condition of room and surrounding property is average to poor with what looks like much deferred maintenance. I would suggest property would have been at its peak presentation 20 years ago. It needs significant investment. I didn’t use the pool or other facilities so can’t comment on these. As a stop over it was fine but I think I would pay the difference to upgrade to a more modern motel/hotel if I was to stay longer, or if it was a special occasion. Plenty of parking and convenient location.

Easy checkin and breakfast was good. Bathroom not too clean, hairs everywhere and in the plug holes. A water outlet was gushing out all night which made sleeping hard.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who checked us in quickly. Although an older property, the facilities are good and are well maintained, the swimming pool was clean and a great alternative to the lake.

Great location. Room was clean enough. Shower wasn't so clean and needed a good scrub. Shower pressure excellent . Beds were super old and not comfortable To be honest we would have happily stayed there at 150 a night . But at 220 a night I would expect better . The front of house lady was super friendly and engaging . All in all a good experience

This resort was a little out dated to our expectations the futility was good but overall could do with a through clean

The property is in a nice location but could use an upgrade.

Has good facilities available without having to leave the property. Unfortunately, some other guests (road work crew) decided to start drinking, laughing, talking loudly outside our unit at 5.30 a.m. and were still 'at it' 3 hrs later when we left. Extremely inconsiderate.

Ouietness

Room was ok but my bed was like a banana and not good for my back by the morning. Unfortunately the shower was leaking water due to poor installation, the water was pooling and running along the floor towards the toilet. The shower water pressure was good but the glass door had not been cleaned for some time and the tiles had mould.

I enjoyed the large facility and how close it was to the local Main Street and shops.

Could do with a new mattress

Room 110, door to the bathroom would not shut.

This is a great place to stay for a vacation, with a lakefront location, amazing views, and a short distance to local shops and restaurants.

We. Ame down for a football tournament so did t spend alot of time at hitel but was a perfect place to aleep wvwrynight had all that we needed and the spa option was easy to book to would definitely stay tjere again

Excellent stay

Reception staff was amazing at accomodating for us. We arrived late and they ensured everything was ready for our late arrival including turning the heater on so that we would arrive to a warm space in this freezing cold night

Clean and safe place to stay. Some rooms are getting painted ready for the busy season. Awesome hot strong shower. Kitchen facilities, tv, Wi-Fi and very comfortable bed.

Unfortunately there were a lot logging trucks staying with very early start times. Understandable though.

Good reasonably priced accommodation. The room was a bit tired though. It looked like renovation work was underway in neighbouring rooms.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful!

The rooms were dated and required a upgrade. No hot water. The beds were uncomfortable and very old. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was average at best. You are better off paying 20 to 30 dollars more and get a better room with descent beds.

There was no hot water during our stay even though the boiler was making water heating noises. The t.v. parental lock came on and could not be deactivated. The heater fan was noisy. The bathroom was nice but cold, unit living area needs renovating.

Staff were great, professional. Decided to have a nightcap and have cocktails before retiring. No cocktail menu, however, staff were accomodating in offering to make what we wanted. Decided to stick with the red wine. A pleasant evening to finish off the day with a nice red

This was a lovely place with great parking and freindly staff. The only recommendation would be to ensure all cleaning of the room eg mirrors and the bathroom drainage was cleaned properly.

The staff wete very helpful and friendly

The electric blanket was not working properly in my room but it was attended to promptly thankyou. The staff on reception were lovely and helpful, as was the staff in the dining room.

Awesome place to stay

Great parking with trailer and largely not visible from the road. Good hot tub, convenient location. Aged but very comfortable.

Bonus Spa

Our stay was ok, however the beds were not comfy and there were some existing stains on the mattress. Overall cleanliness was below average.

The only thing I would say a fan is needed in the bathroom great stay though

We were given a room next to the laundry. Concerned it would be noisy, I asked if another room was available (there was plenty of vacancy). They did not offer another room but assured us it was a quiet room. But the laundry woke us up at 7am both mornings even though it was not supposed to be operating until 10am. No toiletries or bowls provided in room. Requested bowls and spoons from reception, was told we had to get them from the restaurant ourselves as they were 'slammed'. Went down to the restaurant, there was only one couple in there having breakfast. Although the customer service were friendly, they were not particularly helpful. Room clean was terrible. They replaced towels and that's all. They took the hand towel but did not replace it. Beds were not made and they left us with dirty glassware and bowls from the previous day. Very surprised at the lack of housekeeping Booked the spa, it was very cold at only 32 degrees and did not have time to heat up while we were in there. Overall, quite a disappointing experience. We accepted the fact that the premises are very tired and shabby with chipped furniture and old carpet, but surprised at how unwilling staff and housekeeping were to provide usual hotel services.

The heater's noise is not friendly.

Coming back again. Great service, food & nicely presented rooms. Highly recommend

It was very tidy, problem you can hear the neighbor's flushing the toilet but failing that was very quiet. The traffic is a problem as it was difficult as we had to wait along time for a gap in the traffic early evening to travel to the cbd.

Terrible

Loved that the complimentary milk came in a small bottle not the tiny plastic foil capped individual pots which are never enough.

Very affordable

The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and tidy with all the amenities we needed. The bed in our room was a little soft and lumpy and the water pressure wasn't quite what we're used to but the room had great heating and extra blankets (which is especially good as its starting to get cold), and we ultimately thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice staff. Rooms dated, scuffed and marked furniture. Mould on bathroom seals in 3 rooms. Aircon way too dusty to safely use. Needs a serious upgrade. Needs a good clean. Overpriced. Nice view, of the lake.

I would never stay again !

The most dirtiest place I've ever stayed! I would NEVER stay here again. I booked a 2 night stay for Easter weekend. When we entered the room it was old and outdated and with the 3 beds in the room they were all with different softness. The jug hasn't been cleaned. There were no plugs next to the beds. In the bathroom there was a sign to say at night time make sure you close the windows if the light is on so the trout flies don't come inside so I made sure as soon as we got back at 6pm all the windows were closed even though it wasn't dark. They didn't mention all the dragon flies in the shower yuck! It was such a nasty surprise waking up from a nap and wanting to take a shower and seeing that. I tried to wash my face in the sink and the hot water took AGES to turn on and when it did turn on it was only trickling out. Ceiling was dirty, shower door had soap scum. When I went to enquire about a refund I was told by KY at the reception there was nothing that could be done until Tuesday as she wasn't authorised and she wasn't even sure I would get a refund for even one night. I was expecting I would at least get a refund for both nights. Please don't stay here ! It's disgusting. Ill try to upload photos later as it isn't working. Ill also be making a google review. What a disappointment. NEVER AGAIN!! I hope you close down.

Great place

Great place to stay, staff were great

Other guests as a group were obnoxious and loud, running up and down outside the rooms, in and out of other rooms past 11pm. This went on for hours. Started again early in the morning. When checking out, unable to discuss the issue with reception as no one was available and doors locked. Bed was from the pre 2000s, springs that you could feel directly on your body. Would not let my dog stay there.
