Amazing stay

Brilliant stay. I stayed for 3 night and all of the staff were lovely and very friendly. The only thing was the shower door was broken you could shut it but with difficulty. But it wouldnt stop me going again. Location was amazing and the view made the trip.

Lovely location! Very beautiful views and convenient walkability to the town of Menaggio and the ferry. The facilities were slightly dated, however. Overall, would recommend this place!

Amazing value given the location

For the price we paid, it’s incredible value. The hostel is tired and exactly what you’d expect for the price, but the location and views are amazing, the staff are super helpful and friendly and the restaurant really well worth a visit. If you want a budget short stay, this is the perfect stop off

Lake Como hostel

Great stay we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We even received an email from hostel advising us of a rail strike that was planned during our dates there, which allowed us to tweak our trip plans. The hostel was very clean & well presented & we met some lovely fellow travellers there. Hostel very close to public transport which was very convent for us. We did have dinner there unfortunately the pasta was undercooked otherwise everything else was very good.

Location is very beautiful and safe for solo travelers. staff members were awesome. They were very welcoming, very helpful and super friendly. Food was great with reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

You get what you pay for, it's inexpensive for sure, but the bunkbeds were not so comfortable and the mattresses had a lot of hair stuck in them. The shower was small and if you are a more curvy type of person you literally have to squeeze in and out of the shower. The staff were helpful and even though they said they had gluten free options, it was pretty poor options and I ended up buying my own gf bread. Which you can buy at a local pharmacy near by for a reasonable price. The location is wonderful and they have a nice private beach.

Great location, fantastic lake view, lovely lake walk, great for running too. Nice atmosphere but it remains a ‘youth’ hostel, so very basic facilities, e.g. holes in sheets, found a pair of shoes under the bed (not ours) so obviously no one cleaned under the bed! Could just open the bedroom door, at least enough space to get into the room as door banged against the bed.

Great location and the staff was very helpful. AMAZING view! While the hostel's accommodations were nothing special it had a great atmosphere and everything was clean! Would recommend!

We had a great time at this Hostel. The views from our private room were just beautiful. You can't beat the value for the location.

Perfection by all means !!!

The location was perfect, the prices as well. The vibes there is outstanding and the people who work there can't be adored. I stayed 1 night but wanted to stay more, the atmosphere was awesome even though I slept really early. The food is extra yummy and cheap as well. Loved the riddle for the toilet and I will come back, No questions asked <3

Nothing more and nothing less than average

Chosen the hostel by reviews. Being there I felt it's overrated. Yes, the location is a No. 1 location. Nothing else is special. During my stay I couldn't get hot water for showering. I did strip wash. Haven't seen a clean toilet or shower cabin. I felt sick after three days having the "included" breakfast because it was just so poor. The only thing was tasty is the dinner. Every night till midnight were activities which means noise. The staff is friendly. I had much better and more comfortable experience in hostels.

Amazing experience

Perfect location at Lake Como

I had an overall pleasing stay there. The staff is really super friendly and international. There's dinner every evening prepared by the place's cooks. Pasta for 6 or 7 euro or a buffet for 10 euro. Both tasted really excellent! Personally, I think 10 euro is a little to much for the buffet (if you're not eating as much as a horse) - My friends however prefered the buffet. The view from the reastaurant (where you also have breakfast) and other rooms of the hostel is simply stunning. The hostel is easily accessable by public transport - either by bus from Como or by boat or ferry from Varenna. The beds were perfectly fine, the room was clean at the arrival. The only weak point were the toilets. They were very small and you really have trouble first time taking seat because it's so narrow. It is defenitely the perfect place to stay for young people at Como Lake (and that is not only because of the price which was pleasingly low)

Great hostel with amazing views & good atmosphere

Decided to change it up on my trip around Lake Como and stay at a hostel for the night. Was pleasantly surprised with this place, the room was spacious although could have used a fan as it was quite hot at night. Facilities were great and the food was tasty and cheap along with the drinks. Great views of the lake from our room and the communial areas, which were also very vibrant and enjoyable. Could happily base myself here for a week to explore the surrounds.

Good location

Just 2 minute walk to the ferry. The restarant is great where you have a nice view of Lake Como.

Breathtaking view on the lake

Lake como was amazing! This hostel has really outdone itself! All of the staff was great except for one girl (She was moody sometimes) great meals for dinner, breakfast could use some improvement. Great price and beautiful location. I would stay there again no doubt!

Great hostel, just don't get Rm 7

Friendly hostel in nice location. We stayed in Rm 7 (family room) which had an overwhelming sewer odor problem in the bathroom that apparently staff was well aware of. We couldn't use the in-room bathroom due to smell.

the location is fabulous, the food good and great atmosphere but the best thing about this place is the staff. Louisa was extremely helpful and friendly.

Great atmosphere

I stayed there on my roadtrip, it was 'last minute' booking, evertything was OK. The great thing about hostel are people and atmosphere and it was same here.

Very welcoming & homely

Very helpful & friendly staff. Great location, just a quick walk from Menaggio town centre & ferry port is even closer. Lovely home cooked food at reasonable prices & a bar too. Great mix of guests when I was there.

Flott plass med utsikt over Comosjøen

Enkel standard på rommet. Rommet var lite og renholdet kunne vært bedre. Badet var lite. Beliggenheten var topp. Flott utsikt over Comosjøen, god mat og hyggelig betjening. Kort avstand til både buss, båt og sentrum i Menaggio.

Super vriendelijk en goede keuken

Supervriendelijke team, lekker ontbijt en diner. Eenvoudige kamers maar netjes en schoon. Ligging is fantastisch met uitzicht op het meer.

Väldigt slitet och låg standard. Det enda positiva var en fantastisk utsikt!

Einfaches, aber schönes Hostel in toller Lage

Ein schönes Hostel von jungen Leuten geführt, die sehr nett sind. Lage ist toll und das Restaurant bietet leckere Sachen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre.

Nel complesso una sistemazione dignitosa.

Ich hatte schriftlich ein Doppelbettzimmer gebucht, was auch so bestätigt wurde. Die Dame am Empfang zeigte mir dann ein Zimmer mit Etagenbetten. Erst auf nochmalige Anfrage wurde ich an ein zweites Haus in ca 300 m Entfernung verwiesen, das zum Hostel gehört, ein solches Zimmer aufweis und zudem in einer deutlich ruhigeren Lage lag. Ein zeitraubender, enttäuschender Empfang!
