Everything was perfect. I just hoped there was a full length mirror, but other than that i have nothing to complain about. Although with or without the full length mirror, will definitely choose this place whenever.

Our stay was good and as to be expected at a cheaper priced hotel in Times Square. The room was not very clean. Could use a new set of pillows...Parking garage very conveniently located across the street-valet parking $55 a day (with stamp from hotel). Elevators worked great. Breakfast was simple and INCLUDED- which is always great, cute waffle bar, eggs, yogurt, cereal, Danish, toast etc. I would stay again.

Extremely kind front desk. Loved the free hot cocoa, coffee, & tea in the lobby! Felt safe. Quiet. Great view.

Good hotel, well placed for exploring NY. Bonus that breakfast included. Only possible issue is that breakfast area is very small so if you want to sit and eat breakfast, you need to time it right. We just took it back to our room which was fine. Would use again

Front Desk was not flexible at all with the check out timings. Wish they had allowed us aleast 10- 15 min additional buffer beyond the cut off threshold timings.

Nice hotel near attractions

The location is ideal for tourists who want to see the touristy things. We walked most places and grabbed the subway or bus for others. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was like most hotels. The room was small and didn’t have a closet or drawers. The bathroom didn’t have any counter space and the only mirror was the one above the sink. That made it hard for several people to get ready each morning. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. They also have cookies available each evening!

Expensive, clean, easy to get to sights

Extremely small, clean, quiet room & bathroom. Good basic free hot & cold breakfast but limited seating & small room so be prepared to eat fast. Tea/coffee in the lobby 24/7. Parking is across the street, cost us $220 for 4 days with hotel validation, don't forget to tell them when parking. Easy walking to most sights the subway to get to far away sights. Google maps works well for subway use & walking. Don't use Uber/cabs, traffic is the worst.

Great hotel rooms, breakfast and location. Front desk staff were wonderful and friendly. Room cleaner did not replenish bath soap and shampoo, we ended up purchasing our own. Also on another day, our room was not cleaned by 4:30pm when we got back to the room. We saw staff cleaning the hallway carpet and asked for new towels. A little while later, staff knocked and asked if we wanted cleaned, but we declined.

I've stayed in a lot of Manhattan area hotels, rarely bother to write a review but worth it this time. This is a great option. The rooms are clean and modern as is the hotel in general. But the front desk staff really stands out. Friendly efficient service. Quick check in. Always a smile and quick to assist with any questions. You don't get that often in NYC. I'll be staying here again.

I will stay here again. Tje staff was great and very helpful. My only issue was wifi but they are working on it. We were in the heart of Manhattan. Just far enough from times square to avoid all the noise but close enough to wlk and join the fun and see the sights. Very close to the port terminal so easy access to all subway routes.

Small but very nice hotel, and the Staff was very friendly and accomdating. Rooms are on the smaller side, but comfortable. No parking on property but a garage across the street. Good amount of options for food, coffee, and local pubs in the area.

This is a good hotel for the price. Building is clean, well designed, the Premium Room we got was very nice wtih nice fixture. There was, however, a $27 "facility fee" -- on top of the Expedia price -- that was charged at checkin. Unacceptable. We will go back to Expedia and troubleshoot this issue.

Great hotel, great location. Rooms are decent size and clean. Bathroom is a bit small but doable. Overall a great stay. Only bother was that I checked in online sending my ID and when I arrived at the hotel I had to check in again. The hotel should work on syncing the online check in to their system. Otherwise a gem of a hotel

The property was clean, maybe a bit hard to find as it’s tucked right in with minimal signage. However, not a knock on the property. We arrived to friendly staff each time and helpful. The rooms were clean and had. All you need. Would recommend without hesitation and would stay here again. Location was good.

Staff was very accommodating & the room was clean & bed comfortable. I agree with other reviewers in that the room was quite small with not a lot of room to move. Bathroom has very little space for toiletries. Shower was nice. One annoyance is that the reading lights beside the bed only work when the main lights are on, really defeats the purpose. The location of the iron also makes the space for luggage unusable. We did request a luggage stand since there wasn't one provided which was very helpful. Breakfast was adequate but the breakfast area is extremely small with very little seating, not nearly enough to accommodate everyone especially if you are a group of over 2. Cookies each evening were a nice treat! Overall a nice stay though.

Clean hotel, love the shower and breakfast selections that staff kept well stocked. Elevator way faster than the Hampton inns we stayed at before. This will now be our first choice when returning!

Nice property, overall staff did a good job. Room was clean, bathroom was small, sink only, no counter space to put make up bag on. Glad I brought ear plugs, air condition was very loud. Breakfast was good, very crowded though, go early if you want to sit to eat, they do have trays to take food back to your room to eat. Plenty of options for food near hotel. Easy walk to subway & train station.

We had a great stay! The front desk people were so friendly and helpful. Really good location if you want to be near theaters, times square, etc. Rooms are small but well laid out and the shower is awesome with rain head. Great value with wifi and breakfast included.

LaQuinta was the excellent stay I’ve come to enjoy.

The parking arrangement between La Quinta and Emerald Green Parking Garage was extremely helpful. The garage is across the hotel. It was convenient.

Staying at LaQuinta was a wonderful experience! We felt right at home as we were welcomed with cookies that first night. The staff were super helpful and the continental breakfast was delicious.

Hair in the sink.

The room was cozy. Perfectly fit me and my 5 month old child. It was a king room. The amenities/toiletries were lovely and the toweling and bedding was very nice. The front desk staff were absolutely lovely and kind as well as welcoming. I did have a few issues. For 300+ a night; dollars I would expect a clean room. The sink had hair and dirt and the lotion was mostly used. The shower floor was dirty, no fault to the housekeeper on that though. The floor of the shower is tile so the tiles look dingy. Otherwise it was a nice stay and pretty reasonably priced for being so close to Penn station.

Couldn’t believe how wonderful this location was! Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. The only drawback was the size of the breakfast room, but not much they could do about that! Not many places we looked at even had a breakfast option. Room was comfortable with excellent air conditioning! Fast elevator was a bonus being on the 15th floor.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and we picked the right place. The parking garage is right across the road, called emerald cost 45 a day have to get hotel to stmap ticket. Hotel staff was friendly during check-in. The hotel room was nice and clean . The bathroom and shower were very nice, had a waterfall, and had a traditional shower head. The location was nice, close to the time square nice pizza place at the end of the street. We will definitely be staying here for future trips to nyc. The breakfast wasn't too bad. The area was kind of small. If you are going back on forth on a a place pick this one

Great spot, walking distance to MSG, Times Square, so on. Parking right across the street. Checked in online and was in the room in no time. Had the decent hot typical breakfast, waffles bacon and such. But I was able to bring some stuff back to my room for sleeping friends! Def nice of them!!! Very clean room, cozy beds, cool a/c. Id stay again for another concert event.

The reason room was small but comfortable and the furnishings were decent and well kept. But the bathroom was really small and cramped. It was quite hard to manage in there.

Staff was great! Our room had a few issues, though. None of the phone chargers worked. There’s no fan in the bathroom and when I showered, the shower leaked all over the floor. Had to use the two supplies towels to wip up the mess. The bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable annd the AC kept going on annd off. Overall, not bad. Just could’ve been better. The surrounding areas are NYC, so it’s dirty and loud and everywhere you turn, someone is smoking weed. Not the fault of the hotel, just a heads up.

The room was super dark, old and small. Area was noisy, banging noise all night. Shower was awful, either burning hot or freezing cold. Not impressed. Staff was nice and short walk to Javits but in general not a nice area.

Weekend visit to New York

Great stay, hotel was clean, staff was friendly and location was safe and close to Times Square.

Overall Hotel is at great location, property and room is clean. Lady at front desk who works morning shift was extremely rude. I ask to change our room because AC was too loud .She was making feel like I am serving her and she is a customer. Her voices so loud and she is rude, the way how she look at you - you just don’t want to deal with her . Management please don’t put people at front desk who doesn’t want to help

Great spot for a solo trip to the city for work.

Very walkable to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. The room was clean and updated, and there were only 4 rooms per floor so it was quiet all night. They even kept our bags after checkout so we could explore before our train. Check in was easy, and the building was very secure.

Relatively quite for being in NYC. Breakfast was good, but if it wasn't for you, there were two bakeries on the corners, plus a 7/11... a few minutes away from Time Square and Rockefeller center... To access the lobby you have to use your key card so there was that extra safety measure....

Overall experience was good. We stayed numerous times in this hotel. As a matter of fact this is the only hotel we chose when come to NY. With all features checked as “excellent” I wish we, as Hotels.com gold members could use our privilege of free early check in and or free room upgrade while booked through Expedia since Expedia and Hotels.com affiliated under “One Key” program. We had to pay $35 for early check in. Stuff was excellent, Cynthia was very accommodating and welcomy.

Great stay

We we very happy this this hotel. The access to the subway was exactly between the stops at 34th and Penn station and the 42nd St. Time Square. It was quick walk to Broadway and Time's Square for Broadways show. We found a super great Italian restaurant just 1/2 block away. I think it was called Nitti's on 9th Ave. Our hotel bed was comfortable, nice pillows, nice view, nicely insulated from lots of noise. We appreciated the coffee, hot chocolate and warm cookies in the lobby!

I had been at this location twice in the past with this been my third and the walking distances for my interests in the area are suited for me plus rooms are comfy and clean.

I decided to cut my stay short. My early-morning appointment on Tuesday was canceled due to the impending snowstorm, and I was concerned about my ability to get home if the situation got too difficult. Everyone I met on the staff, especially Esteban, was friendly and helpful.
