The place was really clean,the only problem was the elevator was not working bu the hotel had only 3 floors I was at the 3 er floor .

the carpet on the third floor was being dried by numerous fans. the elevator was shut down so we had to walk up three flights of stairs. the room was excellent.

Best hotel to stay if visiting universal parks

This is the best place to stay if you want to visit Universal studios and Universal Islands of Adventure. They do provide shuttle service. Would recommend to use Uber/Lift to visit park(less than $10 on way) instead of paying for $40 at studio parking. Great morning breakfast till 10:00 AM

I didn't find the place clean and I didn't like the smell. The place is really very simple for the price paid. I expected more from the place because it's close to Universal, I expected something cleaner and newer. The building and the place are old.

Conveniently located near Universal Studios Orlando. Quiet surroundings and easily accessible. Staff was nice. Room was appealing and comfortable. Nice plush bed and slept very well. Bathroom was just fine. A/C unit worked well but a bit noisy at times. Overall everything had a clean appearance. Liked the good breakfast and parking included. Disliked that the elevator was under maintenance.

When we arrived the elevator was broken had to carry luggage with 3 kids to the second floor. Once in the room, the room smelled so bad like something died, had to transfer to another room. The hot water was not working and took forever to get hot. The room was not being cleaned every night, we had to go down and ask for towels each night. The iron that was in there was not even heating up and would not work. We asked for another and that one did not work as well the phone you had to hold the cord in too talk. We were VERY dissatisfied with our stay. We have never had issues with any La quinta in but this one was absolutely horrible. We drove 15 hrs and then had to deal with those issues.

The breakfast menu was plentiful in selections. The bathroom was somewhat dirty. The room was a good size and the location was great for Universal.

Great experience, friendly staff, all amenities easily available. Wonderful breakfast, swimming pool was fun for the kids. A welcoming atmosphere for families with little kids.

Good hotel, but it needs to be updated

The hallway and room was musty smelling. Saw numerous cockroaches in bathroom. Elevator did not work during our entire stay. Had to haul suitcases up stairs. Front desk clerks were very nice.

The area around the property was great. Walking distance to Universal Entrance. The property can be better maintained, Elevators not working, old carpets etc. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast was included. Close to Universal, saving us $35 for parking.

Clean rooms, hot breakfast.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The rooms are clean, the grounds are well maintained, comfortable matrass. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The tables were cleaned and organized constantly, so people had always a table to sit and eat. There was a coffee station 24/7 in a lobby - with tea, coffee and water. Location is very convenient, easy exit to a highway.

Overall average hotel. Breakfast options were average. Would have been nice to have some fruit options though. Very strong chemical/cleaner smell if scents bother you. Elevator was not working, was not notified before we booked, we were on the 3rd floor, staff did carry our bags though.

It was close to major shopping areas and universal. The free breakfast provided was very good to my surprise. Also, they offer a shuttle that takes you to universal which was very convenient as well.

The rooms are small. Got a water never came on in shower. Breakfast was poor. Way to crowed of a space. Need another waffle maker takes for ever. They did not inform me the elevator was down until it was too late to cancel. Had to drag luggage up three flights of stairs

Property needs to update furnishing in rooms. Cracks on furniture near fridge. Larger size TV, although channel selections are ok. More breakfast varieties.

The elevator was not working during our stay. Making us to use the stairs with our heavy luggage to the second floor.

Excelent Breakfast and easy way to go at Universal Park

My husband and I stayed 3 days. At first glance it’s a pretty standard hotel. Check in process was super easy and the front desk staff was really nice and welcoming. The lady we talked with let us decide what floor we wanted to stay on. My husband and I chose the first floor. Our room was clean and smelled nice. But definitely recommend wearing slippers or socks if you are going to be walking around in the room. As the floors are wooden. The first night was quit at night but our second night a family above us must have checked in. Because we could hear all the steps and they were pretty hard walkers. With that being said don’t recommend first floor. Overall our stay was nice and will definitely stay again at our next visit.

Just a place to sleep

Everything was very good

The hotel is right in front of I-4, so transportation is convenient, and there are restaurants and stores nearby, so it was convenient. The hotel elevator was broken, so I had to walk up to the second floor, but that wasn't a problem because they had notified me in advance. The bed was comfortable, so I slept well, and the breakfast area was a bit small, so there wasn't enough seating. The food was okay, with pancakes, toast, and other foods, although the waffle maker was broken or unplugged for 3 days. I came here for Thanksgiving with my daughter, and I would come back again next time.

They moved us to the hotel next door because a water leak. Wasn’t a problem and worked out fine. Good value stay, hotel was a bit outdated.

Dark room, bathroom not cleaned well, minimal sound proofing between rooms - could hear others watching tv. Shuttle to universal was a worn passenger van which required multiple trips to accomodate number of guests. Shuttle only went to universal once per day (8am) with one return (5:30pm). Breakfast was fine but coffee was terrible.

Great Service

This is a great hotel with great service. We were in Orlando for a convention. We had reservations at another hotel, however their parking lot was being used for a music festival which prevented us from staying there due to a lack of parking. This hotel had a room available and took good care of us

We Found roaches inside of the dresser didn’t found save to put our clothes in it! we notified to the front desk… We are not coming back!

The place would've been okay, but the elevator wasn't working throughout our stay and we had to use stairs , we had our kids and our luggages so it's a little challenging. But other than that our stay was quite.

I loved how it was part of the i-drive and walkable to many places. The outdoor pool was wonderful. The beds were comfy and the shower so nice. The breakfast wasnt my favorite, but we never went hungry

The AC made a weird noise that kept me up most of the night and the room smelled stuffy like moldy like. Other than that the staff was nice, room seemed cleaned, hotel is close to all the major shops, restaurants, and universal. The included breakfast buffet was alright saves money

What I liked about the hotel is that it was only 5 minutes away from the parks we were going to be at and it offered free parking and breakfast. However, I was a little disappointed when I checked in at night, exhausted from the parks all day, and the lady was less than friendly. She had an attitude and looked like she did not want to be there. Also, they send you a link to check in so you don’t have to do all that at the front desk but it was pointless because I still had to check in. Also, the bedroom did not match the photos. Photos on website are definitely enhanced and edited. And the air conditioner was so loud it woke us up( especially my 5 yr old) every half hour. Finally breakfast was ok. I wasn’t expecting much but was highly disappointed in the pancakes as they were so tiny and so thin. So definitely the price is mostly for the location, not so much the hotel

Close to universal

Excellent staff and very clean facility. I don’t like staying in hotels in this place was amazing. Breakfast was really good too. The only reason why I gave it. A three star on the facility was because the elevator was out. Will be staying here again for the price!

I was very surprised when checking in that they required a $100 cash deposit on top of the $250 deposit on the credit card. A room inspection was required on checkout to return the deposit. Additionally, the elevator was out of service. The staff was courteous and offered to help with luggage if needed.

Not to far from universal studios. Kinda of hidden away from business. Which makes sleeping great. Compliment breakfast free parking pool was nice. Elevator was being worked on but staff is willing to take bags to room

It provided everything we needed for a reasonable price. Free breakfast, clean room, close to the themed parks and some restaurants nearby. I would give it a 5 star if the wifi connection was stable and could reach the 3rd floor. Overall, we had a great stay.

Hidden fees, when you take a card you shouldn’t have to hold onto $100 for incidentals. Breaskfast tickets were given to avoid theft but if you have a room key I think it’s just cheap. Rooms have dust buildup and the pools need to be cleaned there’s mildew on the tiles.

We arrived front desk was very nice. Has two service dogs. Found a roach crawling up the wall. So it made stay uncomfortable. Towels in room has stains. Then we walk our dogs and was asked to show ID after e the building. We didn’t understand that ? Who walks with their wallet at 5am. We always stay at the Quinta love that it’s pet friendly just wish upgrades are done to wear and tears especially in elevators that are always out of order. My husband is handicap thank goodness we called ahead to make arrangement's . People need to understand handicap needs and service animal awareness.
