Good hotel

Good hotel but a little bit outdated. The room wasn't clean very well. The staff was friendly and it was easy check in/out.

Don't believe the good reviews

This hotel is in a convenient location, but is desperate need of upgrades and deep cleaning. I looked at the reviews and thought that the $13 less than the normal hotel we book might be worth giving this one a try. I regretted it immediately. It wasn't very clean or well kept. The most annoying thing in our room was the laminate floor wasn't completed correctly and the glue was showing and we kept getting our feet stuck on the glue. The hallway smelled like weed. The pool had to be unlocked by the front desk. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the air conditioning was on when we entered and it was so cold and it took a while for our room to heat up. My advice would be to pay the measely amount extra to go to any of the other nicer hotels in the area.

I normally don't give bad reviews but we did not have the best experience at this location. The dresser door and drawers would not stay shut we had to put the trash can in front of the door so that we wouldn't walk into it in the middle of the night ...the bathroom door did not latch.. We took cold showers 3 days in a row ...housekeeping didn't make one of the beds the entire visit..they did not leave trash bag Liners the the trash cans.. the breakfast was less than desirable..they advertised there was laundry facilities however we were informed they were broken and not available .... My advise is to find a different place to stay...

Good hotel just off interstate

This was overall a good hotel. Some areas to improve, though: The person working at the front desk wasn't very friendly. He also couldn't make change when we wanted to buy a soda. Although the room was generally clean and the bed was really comfortable, there was a creepy stain on the floor of the shower, and there refrigerator was wobby. Also, they only give you a 0.75-ounce bottle of shampoo, wihich is not enough for three people. I prefer the more eco-conscious approach of filling and refilling one big container of shampoo that's attached to the shower, so there's less plastic waste. The brand of soap (Dove) was very nice. There were lots of restaurants very close by.

Clean large room

Room was next to the elevator. Walls are thin and there was frequent noise from people coming off the elevator, in the halls, and from the room above us. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.

Friendly staff, very clean, nice clean room. Everything was comfortable. Normal breakfast food, good coffee! Will definitely stay here again as we got a good rate! Dog friendly.

Wonderful stay with the exception of some noise at times. Will stay here again and recommend it to others.

Last Resort

The GM is a donkey’s butt. He is easily annoyed and angered when asking logical questions as a customer. Very little eye contact. He likes to punch above head cabinets too. He may tolerate people that don’t look like him, but he doesn’t like them. I will never go back here. All the other staff was friendly.

Inn was easy access from interstate. Tons on dining and shopping options in walking distance. Pet friendly. I was traveling with a dog. Excellent place to walk pet with lots of poo bags and receptacles along the way. All of the staff were warm welcoming and accommodating. Nice breakfast area with quite a few options. Pool and area around it were very clean. I felt very safe there. Easy parking on site. Downside was my room condition. Large tears in shear curtains, corner of table chewed, phone was broken cord chewed, netting under bottom mattress was torn in several places as well as the skirt around bottom of mattress, hairdryer was missing, drain cover in tub was sitting in tub not over drain hole and carpet was pretty worn out. I let clerks know about this in case they were unaware and could get work orders in. Also I didn’t want to be accountable for damages. I would stay again in hopes of a room in better condition.

Awesome place

There was a hole in the wall, the bed was held up by a plank of wood , the pool was freezing most of the areas in the hotel were falling apart.

Was given a room where pets were welcome, as there was a lot of dander still on the bed and/or on the floor that activated my allergies. Bed was not comfortable, sheets were rough… Had no choice but to stay the night.

Rooms were super dirty. My bath tub was filthy - felt uncomfortable showering in it. Upon checking in my credit card was charged twice once for expedia reservation and once for checking in. Had to call the front desk and try to resolce the problem after the reservationist initially denied the double charge. The pool was initially closed upon check in due to "it being cold" but was opened later in the evening. Definately a very poor review.

Room smelled like wet dog. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Place is nice for a stop over while traveling.

Don’t recommend

eeping took my towels and didn’t replace them. When I asked for a towel on Saturday it was like asking for a million bucks and then Sunday when I asked again for a towel I was told they are a hot commodity and they probably didn’t have any. Then the lady rolled her eyes at me. Their pool is closed, they opened it Saturday night and closed it again into Sunday where nasty water and bacteria is sitting on top, I feel horrible for the people who swam in it. Their breakfast options were garbage, they didn’t have anything to drink as their juice machine was down and then on top of that you had to pay for a drink from the commodity area if you wanted one. Won’t stay here again and definitely don’t recommend

Great overnight stop!

For a place to stay overnight on a long-distance trip, this was perfect. The room was clean with everything being serviceable. The breakfast exceeded my expectation. I think the only thing I didn’t like was the fact I had to hit the road early, which was beyond their control. No complaint at all.

I ended up leaving this hotel after having to be moved to two additional rooms. In the first room, I couldn’t get the shower to work. In the second room, I discovered a massive stain under the mattress cover and in the edge of the mattress to the second bed in the room. In the third room, it appeared that the linens had not been changed as there was body hair in one of the beds. The front desk staff, Adam was very apologetic and did accommodate my request for a refund. I made a corporate complaint and a complaint to the hotel management.

Nice place to stay

I had a nice overnight stay with my husband and 2 small dogs. The desk clerk was both professional and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the entire hotel seems to be well kept.

Good location for my needs.

I've stayed here before. It's just a simple hotel with nothing really outstanding, BUT... nothing bad. The only thing I would suggest is that the b'fast be a little more diverse. I plan to be in the area again, I'll be staying here again. The price is right, and the location is perfect for me.

We found long hairs on pillow and bed.

Charged me double excessive fees as i looked daily at my bank acct. I had to go to the front desk and get it fixed. They said it was a big mistake human error on our there part. They knew it happened but did not call me or come to my room to explain that they saw earlier that morning. Really upset

Terrible service. We had to give a deposit of more than 250, which no hotel does... in addition to the stay. Very bad for children.

Nice property and convenient to other dining options

Friendly staff

Our door would not open (handle was broken). Our toilet did not flush. Upon leaving to check out, we woke up to a cockroach on our nightstand and i took pictures/video. We did not want to deal with any room change as we were tired, and didnt report it the next morning because we had to catch our flight at 7am

When we checked in we asked if we could extend our stay and we were able to. The clerk put us on the 3rd floor which was quiet. Room was mostly clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, muffins and juice. This property had easy parking and right next to Culver's and close to Walmart. The only negative was the smell in the 1st floor hall. The smell was worse near the pool. We did not use the pool. We would stay here again if in the area.

Refrigerator didn't work in my room. There where holes in the sheets, it smelled like someone's pets were just there. Had to bring my own air fresher. There was no DND sign in our room. We couldn't ask to change rooms since we got the last one. Love the pool, just didn't care to keep asking someone to open the pool door. Backdoor super ghetto.. You have to push and pull at the same time to get it opened. The evening manager was awesome and loved his friendly customer service. Dont make mess bc there is no broom or vacuum you can useand would have to wait on house keeping the following day.

The property was old and run down. Pretty clean but very noisy. Linens were bottom of the barrel.

Hotel was nice. Average room, but it was roomy and had a nice couch. Front desk staff was a gentleman who was very nice. Breakfast was average. Bed was super comfortable. Water pressure was ehhh. Air was quiet and nice and cold. Overall for the price, it was a good stay.

Affordable spot to stay for the weekend. Construction nearby was annoying. Good shopping and restaurants nearby, close to highway. Hotel was good but nothing special.

Average stay

Tv remote didn’t work and they had only ONE person working in the entire hotel so no one could replace the remote. Was asked to come to the desk myself. I was in my pj’s. Not happening. Breakfast was pretty good and the bed was very comfortable. Average hotel

Friendly staff

The staff was awesome. A little upset that I had to pay $30 to check in 20 minutes early. Room air conditioning wasn’t working but clerk moved us to another room.

It was a reasonablely good motel. The fitness room was typical, with the treadmill controls nonfunctional and the stationary bike's structure was compressed. It was clean and quiet enough. The breakfast was OK.

Wasn’t able to use the pool , one of my main reasons of booking here

Very friendly front desk associate. The AC wasn't working very well but he found us a fan and offered to switch rooms if we needed. Very comfortable and quiet.

This place was perfect for us. It was clean and neat. Staff was very friendly and personable. I loved Daniel! It was right next to anything you needed to eat. Literally right next door is the most delicious fast food I've had in such a long time. Culver's. We don't have one of those where I'm from. Breakfast was really good. All the hot options were hot. My only concern was that the pool was atrocious. It was cloudy and it looked like it had spit in it. I let my daughter in it for a little bit. I would not enter it. The only reason I felt safe letting my daughter play is because she had a full face snorkel mask with her. There was no way she'd get any of that water in her mouth. That is the only downside. Everything else was wonderful. Slept well. Staff was great. It was clean (except for that nasty pool) and I'm definitely staying again. If we go to the zoo that will be our go to hotel. Hopefully the pool's cleaner next time.

Employees ruined my stay

Employees and customer service was horrible. The service industry is missing at this hotel! I will never be staying with Wyndham again. Just dropped my son off for 4 years of college and will be visiting often, but I will find somewhere else to stay!

Deceiving

This is more like a trucker stop, ended up leaving because the only reason we were stay there is because of the pool, ended up leaving because the pool was closed we from out of town and it was my son's birthday. While we were there it was people that were trying to leave because the roads weren't clean ours was semi clean the toilet was still nasty and I had a bad smell. It gives you motel 6 vibes. The pictures are very deceiving looks nothing like what the hotel looks like.

The pool was smaller than it looked in the pictures I viewed on the website. The door lock was broken and the front staff had to open the door. Other than that it was a pretty good stay. Breakfast was good. Nice room. Front desk staff was nice

Don't stay here.

Our room was not clean. The headboards and greasy hand prints as well as all the mirrors, we called to complain about the people being belligerently loud above us, nothing was done. Absolutely will NEVER stay here again.

The front desk personnel were amazing! Complimentary breakfast was adequate. Hotel was clean. Beds were comfy.

Morning news was on in breakfast area, very loud . Warnings of news unsuitable for children when families were eating was unfortunate.

Horrible Stay!

We had ants in our room. They offered to switch us to a different room. We declined because we had already unpacked. Bathroom flooded because the shower head is facing out. Toilet almost overflowed. Maintenance person was not there. Front desk guy plunged the toilet for us ladies. Again they offered for us to switch rooms. Again we declined. Beds and couch felt like laying on bricks. Key cards stopped working and the handle broke. Dryer over heated so the smoke detectors went off in the whole hotel. Ugh! Nightmare of a stay. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good value for the money. Big room with 2 queen beds and a chaise sofa - carpeted which makes it feel nicer. Breakfast was okay - not amazing but fills the belly. Easy check in and check out.

When we got to the property, we were given our keys and when we opened the door to our room the room had not been cleaned.. beds un made, rtc. We went to the desk and the guy gave us a new room. Shortly after checking in, we got a huge rain storm and water was just pouring in through the window. I told the front desk and he just kind of was like, yeah and that was it. The fan in the bathroom didnt work either. Our roon was not cleaned during our stay.. all housekeeping did was take out the trash. No vacumning or beds made... notbi g. There is a pool but they do not allow drinks in there... not even water. We were traveling with little kids and I couldnt eveb brong water in the pool area to drink. I will never stay here again notlr will I recommend this hotel to anyone.

The stay was great! Staff was friendly. Hoping that the staff turns in the Apple Watch that was left in the room, yes completely my fault, but housekeeping turning it in and I receiving a phone call will be amazing!! I called when I got home, the watch was not turned in yet. Thank you for amazing stay!! The pool was great too!

Showing its age

Hotel is getting old. Had to go back to the reception to have the key reprogrammed total of 3 times with 5 trips up and down till someone followed to change the door lock batteries. Carpet not so clean. Will look for other hotels next time

I took my daughter and her best friend to a concert there and the hotel was very accommodating rooms were clean and neat beds very comfortable and the rates were very reasonable love the fact that it's pet friendly as well parking was bad but only because I'm sure a lot of people were from out of town for the same concert but overall I would highly recommend great stay!

Decent place

Safe, reasonably priced and convenient to our traveling. The facility is showing its age and lack of maintenance in nicked paint and woodwork. The staff were pleasant and helpful when we found that our tv remote didn’t work. The bathtub was off putting so I skipped my shower.

This was a really nice hotel with friendly staff. I was able to edit my reservation at the desk to accommodate my Mom who needed a handicap accessible room.

Staff was amazing

My Husband and I enjoyed our time here. We visited Ohio for my nieces graduation. Upon entry the staff was very welcoming and friendly and someone was always available to answer any questions we had. We will definitely consider staying here for our next visit to Ohio.
