Quiet and cozy! I like the dark room to sleep at night!
Great Stay
It was great
Great hotel.
Everything was good. Only one problem. Not enough parking spaces.
Adequate accommodations
The stay was for a training in town. Every day it was clean with fresh towels and bedding. Microwave, small refrigerator. No complains.
The rustic Spanish/Texican decor, bedding, bed towels, chair and chase, desk, clean a/c, finished dry walls, no gaps or holes or toxic sewage fumes from the drains, no mold or stale curtains and bedding. The art work didn't match the decor, perhaps an update to traditional Longhorns and/or Mustangs, with a sage or leather sandalwood incent to the room would really complete the stay. Best nights sleep after 3 other nights in San Antone.
Very vacant properties around the hotel
These rooms were the best ive ever seen. I could say enough about how beautiful this establishement is. When i return to San Antonio. I will definitely make this establishement my first choice!!
We stayed one night and it went okay, other than a glitch with the locks, a family managed to unlock their door using their card when we were already sleeping 11:30pm. The safety bolt held the door open and the front desk told me that the family was meant to be in a room down the hall, I still think the front desk mistakenly doubled booked our room which is an honest mistake. Honestly I would stay again and probably will since it’s walking distance to the train station and free parking. The room was decorated nicely and very clean and the furniture was beautiful. Other than the door incident it was a good stay.
Will definetly recommend this hotel
I was very pleased with the cleanliness and neatness of our room.. beds are extremely comfortable
It was very clean and affordable.
Everything was great!
Great place to stay.
It is a very nice inn for a short or long stay. Parking i free. You are within a 4 min drive to downtown or uber.
Very good hotel to stay
Very friendly staff and the room is perfect!
Super easy and quick walk to the Alamodome! Room was clean and the check in staff was super polite and friendly. Area “seemed” a little scetch but we had no issues and would definitely stay there again.
Great staff, clean room. We left some clothing in our closet and the staff called to let us know. Can’t thank them enough!
Convenient if you drive.
Nice
the
Hidden Gem
This is our favorite place to stay when we visit San Antonio. We call it the " Hidden Gem" If your not looking for pool, lounging area or food/ breakfast this wouldn't be a good choice. But if your looking for comfort and clealiness and friendly staff this is an awesome pick!
Very clean ! Nice staff!
Good rates, good location
The hotel was easily accessible and was within walking distance to downtown. We parked our vehicle and walked to the river walk and to the alamodome so that we would not have to pay ridiculous prices at the public lots. The bed was a little hard for our liking but we are used to a very soft bed. Overall, great place, would definitely stay here again!
Quant, cute and clean
I booked this hotel simply because it was conveniently close to the Alamodome but to my surprise, it was quite nice. The parking lot could use some improvement, but it was very quiet, clean, and spacious. If in the future I should be going to the Alamodome I would definitely book again at this location. Although there was food left in fridge, everything else was higher than my expectations and affordable.
It was about seven to eight blocks from the riverside walk area and restaurants
I really like staying at this location. The surroundings are not too appealing but the hotel itself feels like if you are at home. I’ve stayed there the past 3 times that I’ve been to San Antonio. The receptionist gentleman was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip.
Bad sevice
I’m still waiting for a refund for the day I didn’t stay
Staff very helpful
The hotel was fine (clean, comfortable, decently priced...great staff)... the neighborhood around it was not the safest in San Antonio.
Close walk to Alamodome for Journey/Def Leppard/Steve Miller Band concert. Clean, quick check-in. Reasonable price. Everything we needed to avoid drinking/driving and expensive parking at the venue.
Very friendly. I'll go back for sure.
I have stayed here twice for work, it is super clean, staff is super helpful. It is not a 5 star facility, but the place feels like it all because of how clean and tidy the rooms are. It is a bit of walk from downtown. The best hamburger is next door by the way. I will book this place for my upcoming trips when I can get a room, or if I can get one. I have nothing bad to say.
We enjoyed our overnight stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We chose this hotel for the free parking and close proximity to the riverwalk. Definitely will stay next time I visit the Riverwalk.
rude clerk
Well located and easy to reach. Friendly and quick check in. Large and comfortable room and spacious bathroom. The cleaning standards were very high in all areas. It was not an issue for us, but there is no lift. The only small issue is that only coffee was provided in the room; tea would have been appreciated. 15 minute walk from the city centre, which was safe and easy during the day.
When my family arrived, the front desk gentleman was very friendly. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There isn't much around the premises, but we were able to Doordash food in the evening. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet and clean place. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to San Antonio.
The staff here were wonder. Very helpful and courteous.
Pleasant stay
Checking in was a little bit annoying due to parking issue & coming in late in the night was challenging as instructions how to enter after office closed was not shared in a clear manner.
They required 100$ in cash at check in
I enjoyed my stay at this property. The staff were very friendly and informative. The room itself was clean. The hotel is also a straight shot to downtown. If you’re trying to save some money and have a vehicle to get around the city, this is a good pick. You’ll notice that the hotel is not in the most visually appealing area. But I didn’t feel unsafe or anything. Just seems like that part of town hasn’t seen the same expansion as other parts.
Great price, great customer service, everything was great
Nice little place
All around good experience. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Somethings were a little dated but everything seemed to be kept up. Small hotel, nothing super fancy but it was great for what I needed. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.
The only thing I didn’t like about my stay was No Elevator But I will be Staying here again
Clean very nice staff and very good location for downtown
This hotel is a hidden gem. Very nice accommodations within walking distance to the River Walk and Alamo but more than half the cost. The owner has added some nice touches to the room like crown molding and artwork. The window covering is clever and the bedding is upgraded. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.
This property is small but it is superb! The rooms are comfortable and the area is quiet. I had a very late check in but they were able to accommodate me, which I am extremely grateful for! I would absolutely stay here again.
Overall the property needs a face lift. Finishes and colors in the room are dreary and look dingy. The room's lighting was poor. The overhead ceiling fan in our room was set on max/high and there was no way to change it, other than turning it off completely from the wall switch. The A/C was VERY NOISY as it cycled on/off. The two arm chairs were old and worn, totally uncomfortable. You cannot change the location of the inn, and the owners tried to overcome the view from our ground floor room which looked out directly onto the homes across the street, by using a "decorative" shade that depicted the Alamo, really it was TOO MUCH! Yes it was quiet, but the neighborhood felt borderline unsafe! Some surrounding lots were abandoned others derelict. No nearby restaurants, no nearby anything. If you don't have a car, you are stuck at this small inn.
Inside rooms were clean and quiet. Convenient to stairs and covered parking but no nearby restaurants and questionable neighborhood.
The person on duty helped with securing my rental car arrangements. Very helpful!

Was meeting friends - was room was very comfortable and affordable- customer service was very nice and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone- Thank you
Brady
We loved this cozy little spot. My 4yo was in love with it. Parking was well lit the room was clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely staying here again when visiting SA. Straight shot to downtown if you don’t mind walking.
Not a great weekend
The worse location in dilapidated part of the city.People peeked in our room. Very noisy. Street people partied at the middle of night. The roaches in the bath tab at night. They never dusted the furniture for ages. No breakfast. Very limited number of the towels for two persons for two nights. Homeless man approached tow We picked this place after reading the people said exceptional, excellent. Not true at all.
Charming room
Perfect for a budget one nite stay. All good and was a bit concerned about my vehicle but was fine. Very nice clean room with a very good bed.
Walking distance to river walk
What I love about older hotel properties like this one is that the walls are super-thick, thus quiet. I also liked the proximity to San Antonio attractions.... A good stay.
The area around the hotel is largely empty building. Maybe some urban renewal? The hotel itself was fine with a front desk staffer that was very friendly and helpful. It’s was just too far from the Riverwalk for us to walk there. Younger guests could do it if they don’t mind all the empty buildings. The room itself was fine. Clean and about average for the price. Big plus was the free parking since at the other hotels it could run to $50 per day.
It’s great for the price. Last minute booking. The place was quite except for the A/C whenever it comes on it was noisy!
Small, hotel that's not in the most attractive area but it never seemed dangerous or unsafe. Convenient to downtown, but not really walkable. Clean, comfortable rooms with good, though noisy AC. Nice frig with small freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Would be nice to have a towel rack by the sink, and softer towels, but certainly not a deal breaker. Was here for the eclipse when EVERYTHING was booked.
Excellent value, free parking, friendly service, quiet room, very clean, walking distance to downtown/ riverside.
Pleasant hotel. Good price. The surrounding area is not terrific with many closed stores and overall pretty deserted. We had no problems with safety, walking into and out of the alamo area at night, so it's probably OK.
Everything was excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Very friendly staff.
The room was nice, the parking was good and down the street is a restaurant (wings & waffels) they have really good wings. You can walk to the riverwalk (15 min) and the alemo (20 min).
Loved It!
Last minute vacancy was available. The rooms are furnished so quaintly and have a very comfortable rustic feel. Location was great, less than two miles from the Riverwalk and Alamo. Just make sure you put the exact number of guests to ensure you get the correct room size.
Great Find!
What a great find! Near downtown and in a quiet neighborhood, this hotel is truly a hidden gem.
Way more than we expected. Very nice quiet and staff was friendly. We will definitely be staying there again. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Simple spot and decent distance from mall and convention center
I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s a nice, easy walk from the riverwalk and convention center. The staff is friendly and the place is clean and inviting. The neighborhood seems to feel a little cleaner and safer each time I visit as well.
Staff very good very nice, room very nice and clean, I really like it
Good spot for a good price considering the competitors prices. Theres not much in the way of extra ammenities (pool, gym, dining) but for just a bed in a good spot - its well worth it.
It’s just ok. Nothing remarkable. Staff wasn’t available or friendly. Bring your own toiletries. I was only there for one night. Chose this hotel based off of location to venue and price.
This was a very nice and clean place. There was nothing to complain about. I highly recommend this if in San Antonio.
Conveniently located near the Riverwalk
Nice and clean, relatively close to downtown. Would stay again.
Pros: It was very close to the Riverwalk, 30 minutes walk straight shot. The room was really clean. The sink in the shower drain weren't clogged. No bed bugs or roaches! Our neighbors were really quiet except for a couple of teenagers late at night who were drunk and twerking on top of their car and then talking loud outside of our bedroom door for a little while late at night. Cons: No breakfast at all. No toiletries except the body wash and shampoo installed in the shower and two makeup wipes which I couldn't use since I don't use makeup. The mini fridge was set to too cold and froze some of our drinks. The main con is that Expedia charged before we got there, which is normal and then the hotel charged the full amount at check-in. This should not have happened and took away a lot of money that will take a long time to refund that we could have spent elsewhere. Now I have to wait up to 2 weeks to get a refund. Overall I would stay here again but I would definitely make sure that I am not double charged and have extra money to get myself breakfast.
I liked that the area is close to the concert venue that I went to, and the price is ok. Good value property, I go to San Antonio at least a few times a year and from now on I will plan to stay at this location.
La Hacienda is amazing
I was in town for granddaughters volleyball conference play for two night and this place is amazing. Quite, a/c was very very good. Hot water I love hot showers. I could tell the owner puts work into his investment. Will stay here every time I visit San Antonio. River walk and shopping are all close enough to not travel to far as well as the Spurs facility.
Always enjoy the friendly owners & nice clean safe rooms
The property was great. Was very clean and parking was free. The hotel is right down the street from the river walk so that was great but when u first arrive and see the area it looks sketchy. The hotel inside is nice and very convenient. Great for the price.
Lovely rooms
We will definitely stay here again.
Very clean
Just what I needed - a safe, clean place close to the convention center!
This is a family run location and their passion shows! Such a friendly team! We saved, per room, $250 per night by staying here and paid a $10 cab ride to downtown each day and night. We saw the rooms downtown where the rest of our team stayed - and they were nothing special. AC unit was very loud, but the area is quiet, the rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and it's the most affordable place in the area. La Hacienda was a great and unexpected find!
Clean room and bathroom. Perfect for 1 or 2 night stay. Service was great. No complaints
Great Place
Everything was great. Friendly staff, rooms were awesome. Highly recommend this hotel.
Very good hotel. Modest but very clean. Staff was very helpful. Have stay here before.
Great place to stay! The rooms were very spacious, they have been recently renovated. The hotel is only 1 mile from the Riverwalk.
No breakfast served so we brought food and then the fridge in the room froze all our stuff 👎 a dial for the fridge was not readily apparent, I expect that temperature to be set before our arrival. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly, free parking was amazing. Cost $10 to Uber to AT&T Center and $8 to Uber to Riverwalk. About a 30 min walk to Riverwalk but locals suggested not walking home at night in that area. Clean!
Easy convenient location.
It was very pleasing, the prices a great and a smaller motel close to the rodeo grounds. The service was excellent and the room was very clean and pleasing. Would book again for a place to stay while visiting the area.
Very cute little hotel. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s beautiful on the inside. It’s small, with only a few rooms but if you are lucky enough to end up with one, you will not regret. East walk to the Alamodome. I wish there was more food options close by but it’s definitely not a far drive.
I couldn't find the check in window. Looked nice but not for the price. Room had a weird odor so i looked for another hotel that smelled cleaner and much fresher
Great stay for a very reasonable price
It was very enjoyable!! Most hotel rooms do not have ceiling fans and I loved that this 1 did. The pillows were very soft and "full size". The mattress was very comfortable...not firm at all which is what we prefer. Overall we will def. stay there again.
Great value! A bit of a walk to city center.
As far as I can tell the property is very well-maintained and clean. Parking is limited, though, right next to the hotel. Additional parking is across the street in another parking lot.
Perfect for our needs
Dry clean, comfortable room
We were very happy to stay at La Hacienda Inn. The service was excellent. Just one observation, wash the pillows well, they smelled damp.
I lost my phone before check in. The wonderful woman at the desk took charge and helped me recover my phone. She made me feel like family. I will definitely stay here anytime I am in San Antonio. I can honestly say I have nothing but praise for the hotel and owners.

I like the room and how it was set up
