it was very hot and they turned off the air conditioning system over the 4 nights we were there. It was hot and uncomfortable to sleep and stay in the room in general. they offered a large fan, but since the room was small it was not a good option. there would have been no room for it and it would be blowing and noisy.

Great hotel in a beautiful city

This is an incredible hotel for art lovers. Intriguing history. Beautifully decorated and very helpful staff. We loved it!

The property was quite challenging to find and our car GPS did not locate the 'hotel'...our phone GPS was better. It was also difficult to enter the property. This is a small property and our room was off a communal area. I liked the room (we were upgraded) and the location (very central). There are a few things which could be improved such as tea and milk (for those which like tea) and a decent map of the area. I enjoyed the description of the hotel and the history but more information on the local area would have helped

A lovely hotwl with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is typically Italian so don't expect cereals and a range of options you'd find in a large American chain. My only criticism is that the heating in the rooms (under floor) was too warm.

Great location and the best staff. A little hard to find with a car. Food was creative and tasty. No better place to stay in the old town.

Great location...in the middle of olive trees. Make sure you take a walk/bike ride outside the property - the different crops are outstanding. Room was large. Onsite bar was comfortable and the bartender outstanding. The other staff could have been more friendly. Food was outstanding, but note the menu did not change the two nights we dined. Also the lunch and dinner menus are the same.

Oasis in Lecce with lovely garden

A peaceful oasis in Lecce, within the town walls, only a few minutes walk to most of the sights. The garden area was the perfect place to spend a few hours each afternoon resting and reading after a busy morning sightseeing. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were outstanding. The persimmon jam was a particular highlight!

Everything about this hotel (the room, the grounds, the breakfast, and the staff) was wonderful. I would tell all of my friends to stay here.

Brand new hotel with an interesting history. The staff were exteremy friendly and helpful almost like personal butlers. Very attentive to every wish they went out of their way to show us another palazzo that the family owns that is an amazing property almost like a museum. The owners were there and personally made suggestions for restaurants which turned out to be excellent. İt felt more like staying at a friends house than staying at a hotel.

The best hotel of our trip!

Beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of Lecce. The staff were absolutely wonderful and the rooms all beautiful. It was our favourite hotel out of the 3 we stayed during our weeks vacation. It’s pricey but worth every penny. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return one day!

A special hotel. Fairly new. Service and food were excellent. The room (deluxe) was spacious with modern electronics. An impressive attention to details such as high quality bath products. although located in the old city center, it's spacious. Entering the hotel gives a feeling of peace and tranquility. The grounds seem spacious with a nice pool area. There is an attention to style and design that manifests itself not only in the construction and decor but in every detail. A great experience. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Lecce.

Loved La Fiermontina

I loevd La Fiermontina. It ticked all the boxes: a gorgeous property, immaculate rooms, excellent location, great food and friendly, obliging staff. Lecce is a fascinating city and La Fiermontina is just the place to stay when visiting.

One of our favorites

One of our favorite hotels in Puglia! It’s in a quiet residential area but only a short walk to all the action of the old city center. Beautiful rooms and great service. Amazingly comfortable bed!

Very chic hotel

This is a very chic hotel in the old town of Lecce. The place is to a very high standard and we were given an upgrade to a junior suite, so no complaints (and very lovely of the hotel management). The service was excellent. The only issue we had was an infestation of flying ants in the bathroom in the morning. The hotel staff cleaned the bathroom but the flying ants were soon back. This made it impossible for us to use the bathroom or take a shower in the morning. Given the standard of the hotel, this was an unexpected issue and overall could have been handled better by the hotel staff (they just brushed it off as a minor incident).

Very good, though not great

Overall very good but just a little bland for my tastes. Everything was done very very well but it felt like I could have been in a smart hotel in London or Paris. Not quite Italian enough. Staff were very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We were upgraded to room #3 and it was a gorgeous room with a great bathroom. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy during our stay. The restaurant has amazing food. Definitely one of our best meals in Lecce. Highly recommend.

An oasis in the Lecce old town centre

This hotel is truly magnificent. Very understated and classical. Provides a fabulous break from the hot Puglian sun. The room is elegant with all mod cons to hand. If the wifi isn't strong enough, they provide you with a separate router. Staff are exceptional, not invasive or having that fake American 'happy to see you' annoyance where they want tips. Staff always will to help whether it be for excursions or to where to stop for a drink in town. Breakfast is a delicious selection of hot and cold foods, with lots of local fruits and cheeses to select from, as well as your usual eggs and the best crispy bacon you will ever have the pleasure of eating. Located only a brief stroll into the old town centre (<5 min walk), hence conveniently located for all the tourist sites. The hotel swimming pool is set amongst beautifully aged olive groves. Provides an absolute haven when you have been out in the sun all day. Also, can't forget to mention the hotel's dog which tends to visit in the afternoon for his pats and a play. By far one of the leading hotels in the world.

Most elegant and comfortable stay

We had a fabulous stay! The food was incredible, the room was immpecible and the hospitality of each person working in the hotel was above and beyond. The gardens and pool and everything about the hotel is gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and stay there.

Heavenly, Tranquil and absolutely Beautiful!

Absolutely Beautiful Property on every level from comfort to service. A lovely retreat amongst the surrounds of the historical area. Very quiet and peaceful, gorgeous courtyard and lovely gardens to relax under the most amazing olive trees. Stunningly designed rooms too!

Wonderful Hotel. Wonderful City.

This is a spectacular place. The perfect base to visit all of Puglia. The hotel is splendid, with grounds that live up to the "urban resort" label--pool, grove of orange trees for shade, patios with comfortable chairs, on and on. Each room has a small deck area, but the entire outdoors and indoors of the place are open. The staff is outstanding--warm, welcoming, eager to make your visit a pleasure. The cuisine is fabulous. Not traditional Italian, but rather modern, creative and delicious fare produced by a star chef. The site is on the edge of the old town, 10 minutes from anywhere in central Lecce by foot and, with its private parking, and easy place from which to drive out of town to visit the rest of the region. Lecce itself is beautifully Baroque, with lovely churches, fine restaurants, Roman ruins, lovely people...I could go on. This is a really unique experience worth every penny. And consider going in the off season, when the weather is best and the crowds thinnest.

Super séjour, le lieu est magique et le personnel aux petits soins pour sa clientèle. Un grand merci. Un seul conseil peut être pour la cuisine vous devriez proposer des plats un petit peu moins élaborés et plus simples et traditionnels. Des fois à vouloir trop faire gastro ce n'est pas tjrs recommandé. Sinon tout était parfait! Merci
