Good location, pretty pool, expensive laundry!

Reception area beautiful and a pretty roof top pool! Rooms had AC and wifi, but quite basic & slightly dated decor. Laundry exceptionally expensive - have never paid so much for laundry, not even in a London hotel! Go out to get laundry done!

I felt like at home.

Very basic room. Poor service on arrival

Is this hotel even in Vietnam? The country known for great service? Carry your own bags to the room. Bedroom was ghastly. Don’t be taken in by the picture of the pool. Plenty of other great hotels with pools. Bar closes at 10. Breakfast not worth getting up for.

4 star restaurant in Vietnam is very different than the ratings in US/Mexico. Overall, not a bad stay. WiFi is iffy if you need to do work.

I liked the area.it was very walkable and the pool although it was a little cold to swim. The lobby is comfortable and has some nice paintings The rooms could have done with a bit of updating and were quite small and the carpet needs shampooing The staff are very nice in reception The breakfast was very average for the type of hotel it was and I thought should have included western as well as Vietnamese coffee also although we went at 8. 30 - 9 .The staff were cleaning up and packing up which makes you feel uncomfortable

Left feeling very disappointed with this hotel. I booked and paid for a double bed, checked in and found i'd been allocated a single bed only. Spoke to reception, they said they gave me a single bed as i was travelling on my own. Explained that i had paid for a double because that was what i wanted. Response was hotel was fully booked for the night. Was only a two night stay so moved on after the second night. I drank a can of orange from the room which at check out they wanted to charge me 100000 vnd, i reminded them that they had made an error with my room, reluctantly i felt the front desk manager gave me that drink complimentary because of the error. Just a point to note, the rooms dont look like what the images show when booking, the word 'catfish' comes to mind.

Good value for money and in a good location. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast options are good.

Attentive staff. Poor wifi connection, rooms with only 1 vent difficult to cool down with room turning off when you remove keycard.

Clean and comfortable with a friendly, helpful, and supportive staff

Almost properties were well prepared for guest but room facilities are little need maintenance. Staffs are all nice friendly, receptionists, breakfast staff, bellman even housekeeping has good hospitality for guests.

OK nothing special.

The pool is very small, the place is clean and the breakfast OK. There were better hotels nearby for a similar price.

Good hotel, but don’t get a massage in house.

one of the better hotels we stayed at in Hanoi. Comfortable, nice room, excellent buffet breakfast in the morning. Staff spoke quite good English and were helpful. The one negative was that my fiancé and I had a massage in their ‘spa’, which was actually just one of the hotel rooms. The massage itself was ok, but we booked and were charged etc for aromatherapy and it was just a Swedish with some scented massage oil. On top of that they then added a service charge at the desk. Massage was therefore a let down and a bit of a rip off. So stay clear of that.

Cosy and clean hotel with warm staffs always at hand to offer assistance. Rooftop dining offers nice city view

The location of the hotel is good, around 15-20 mins walk away from the old quarters. Staff are very helpful and good command of English which is a plus point.

Staying outside the old quarter can be fun

La Casa is good value for money, ok it's not in the old quarter but you are not paying old quarter prices and the walk there is not difficult and any walk in Hanoi is always interesting and worthwhile. The staff at the hotel were great and always ready to assist. Their English is good. Breakfast is ok. Room is large.

Great Hotel for price

Not to far from main part of town clean facilities staff were polite and professional Breakfast was excellent with wide choice of dishes. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone that is going to Hanoi watch out for lizards in toilet

Every thing was good. In a downpour, the hotel lent us big umbrellas.

Beautiful Hotel

This an extravagant and beautiful hotel but unfortunately the location is not close to central shopping locations. The room was also lovely and staff were kind enough to provide me with extra room samples such as conditioner and bath gel. The staff were the best thing about staying here, so kind and friendly!! My stay was pleasant and the hotel was great but I felt like I missed out on a lot of the tourist experience because of the location.

Very Nice Hotel

Located a little way from the centre of the city (2 kms). Very friendly staff. Photo of the pool is deceptive, the pool is quite small.

Quite Hotel & Location

Nice hotel in a quieter location about 15 minute walk to the City Centre. Rooftop pool looks really inviting in the photos but it’s actually a lot smaller when you see it. Food was good, buffet breakfast was convenient and the staff very helpful and attentive.

Lovely place to stay

The staff at La Casa made us feel very welcome and had our room ready for an early check in which was fantastic. The room was modern and comfortable with a great bed, very nice bathroom and a good selection of television channels. Room service was provided from the restaurant upstairs and was fine, although the portions were quite small for the price. Our experience here was a positive one and we would definitely recommend La Casa as a great place to stay in Hanoi.

Pretty good

This hotel was fine all round. Easy for a quick stay, but a bit of a weird layout re the restaurant and gym. Breakfast was nice though, and the room was good. If this is the area for you it's not a bad choice, but there are plenty of hotels above the lake that are very well placed and probably better value. We came back a few days later and stayed at Silk Queen, which was much better placed and beautiful.

Four star quality at very affordable price

Wonderful hotel with excellent service! Staff are very professional and attentive to details. Every request for service in my room or the restaurants was fulfilled promptly and we were treated like kings!!

Friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a roof top pool which allowed you to chill out or have a swim after a long day walking around. Down side was shower was over a deep bath which made it a little difficult to get in and out of.

Quiet and comfy

Fantastic service from staff. If you are looking for somewhere quiet it is perfect. Meals here were very expensive in comparison to other 4 star hotels. Overall very impressed

Little treasure

I got a suite for $89 and per night and it was great. Nice bed, great bathroom, room was big and nice. The only con is that it's not in the old part of town with the tourist things but it not a far walk. Other than that the breakfast buffet was just average. I would stay there again

Short walk to the French Quarters

Short walk to the French Quarters which personally I feel is a much better place to be in than Old Quarters in terms of cleanliness, food, overall beauty and sight seeing. Old Quarter may be a better location for you if you prefer the hustle and bustle though. Still, it's still within walking distance but not that near, maybe about 20 mins. Hotel was great, comfortable, classy, loved the breakfast, not a HUGE extensive array served but more than good enough. Most importantly, it was delicious. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The room however is awkward with glass for the bathroom walls. Though the curtains can be pulled down, there's still slight cracks where the person in the bathroom can be seen. Awkward as it was a trip for co-workers. The beds are a little hard but not a problem, I just prefer softer ones. Pool is smaller than expected but still very welcoming in the Hanoi heat. Would come back for sure.

Very comfortable, relaxing hotel

Great friendly helpful staff and clean hotel. Lovely pool and restaurant and the area is much quieter than the Old Quarter yet only a 5 min taxi ride away. Very few restaurants to choose from in this area however.

A really friendly and welcoming business hotel

I was very impressed with this hotel. Most business hotels tend to have staff who are indifferent to their guests. This was a real exception - everyone was friendly and helpful. A smile every time I entered the lobby, the elevator called down on my behalf, bookings and taxis no problem. Made me feel really homely and welcome after a hard slog all day

Quiet and relaxed.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The only downside was that I was a little further away for the old town than we would have preferred but in the end it was quite nice to escape the hustle and bustle a little and actually we enjoyed our journeys into the old quarter watching Hanoi in all its craziness!

Overall quite a pleasant stay in this hotel.

Hanoi

They had nice pool but I wasn't able to swim. The bathroom is decent. Only thing I would suggest if they don't have carpets. The room had old cigarette odor. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly but was not attentive at breakfast. I had to repeatedly ask for coffee / tea.

Great service at La Casa Hanoi

The staff at La Casa Hanoi were exceptional. They were always attentive and gave great customer service. I asked about a sim card for my phone and they not only gave me directions to the next block..... but concerned that I don't speak Vietnamese actually sent a doorman with me to speak with the shopkeeper. That was so nice!

Every front staff can speak and understand English. Even at restaurant, you can communicate with the hall staff. Human resource is perfect. But, I really disappointed at the smoking friendly situation. You can find ashtray in front of every elevator hall and smell tobacco smoke. Even in non-smoking room, I was troubled by stink of tobacco's smoke. I guess the bathroom air duct is connected each rooms and someone's tobacco smoke circulated by the duct. In Hanoi, I was really troubled by tobacco's smoke at everywhere. Vietnam is developing country and smoking friendly yet. Food, service, and people's kindness was excellent, but tobacco's trouble would disturb your comfort stay in La Casa and Hanoi. I am really depressed for it. But again, La Casa Hanoi is good hotel. I hope the sidewalk of the street in front of the hotel would completed before my next visit to La Casa!

Satisfactory experience

Staff are welcoming and polite overall but need to be more attentive. Warming room decoration is impressive. Room are clean yet a bit dark at night. Enjoyed delicious foods of room service but a bit disappointed by daily breakfast because of limited foods choices. However the hotel massage is Not recommended as the outsourced personnel is unprofessionally chattering all the time. All in all, the Hotel is still money for value.

4성급다운 호텔

방은 침대2개 짜리 였으며 공간은 넉넉하게 잘수 있었고, 샤워부스는 좀 작음. 청결도는 상당히 좋으나 단점은 화장실이 통유리에서 점수가 떨어짐. 위치는 약간 애매할 수 있음. 그랩타면 크게 상관없으나 더울때 걷는거 싫어하면 힘들듯. 조식은 4성급답게 다양하며 맛이 보장되어 있음.

Small nice hotel in a quiet area

Charming small hotel located outside the craziness of the old quarter hence offering a quieter environment. Very warm and welcoming staff as well as helpful with logistics. Good breakfast. Only regret is the small size of pool and gym.
