Wonderful stay in Naples
The owners of this property are extremely nice and personable. They are just a text away if you need anything. Our room was very comfortable. It had the nicest bathroom of any place we stayed while we toured Italy!
Amazing stay!
We needed a 2 night stay last week of November to visit the city as well as tour to Amalfi and Positano. Our host was extremely kind (sorry I did not catch his name). During delays with our ferry and train cancellations on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, he kept constantly in touch via messages to ensure that he was there to let us in when we finally arrived at the accomodation. We requested an early breakfast for the morning of our tour to Amalfi and they kindly packed sandwiches, yogurt and fruit in the fridge for us. The charming lady who did breakfast is very friendly and had our lovely hot breakfast prepared every morning. Perfectly located within easy walking distance to the Port, shopping, food and bus stations. Our 4th floor room was clean, bright and spacious enough .The lift, though small, easily fit both of us plus luggage ; convenient as there are usually no lifts at other b&b's in the city. Highly recommend.
Was nice hotel Terrace was advertised and didn’t seem open most evenings
The owners were extremely accommodating and the breakfast on the terrace incredible. Cooked by the owners mother. I would highly recommend.
The room was fine for a quick stay. It is in a good location, you can walk to many things. Unfortunately, the room seemed pretty dirty. Not gross, but there's marks on everything and the walls. The bathroom was very clean and nice though. There is a good walk-in closet. Not a very comfy bed.
Everything we fine
This was an excellent place to stay. The room was well maintained, clean, and the staff was amazing. The location is central to walkable places, grocery stores, and public transportation. There is an amazing pizza place within a 3 min walk (Antica Pizzeria del Borgo Orefici) which had great food and friendly staff as well. If I travel to Naples again, I would absolutely stay here again.
Let's get something out of the way, if you want something in a convenient location (close to the center) in Naples, the surrounding area it's not gonna be pretty. That being said, I spent a few nights at Bruno's, never felt unsafe and the environment seemed clean and organized, just not as pretty as Vomero. As for the experience inside, I arrived way earlier than check in time and asked to leave my luggage at the counter so I could spend some time in the city, well, they checked and my room was ready so they just let me have a free early check in (around 9:30 AM). I always left the B&B around 9 AM (after breakfast) which was prepared every day by Giuseppe's mother, she's very kind and if there's something she doesn't understand she'll whip her phone out and use a translator app. Every day I had a sfogliatella and croissant, cappuccino, juice and an omelette with a toast. When I came back every day my room was made and tidy, they even organized my toiletries which I know I left quite messy the first day. The room is spacious, bed and pillows comfortable and the A/C works wonderfully. Lastly, Giuseppe's mother ordered me a taxi when I was running tight on time for my train since she said I'd have a difficult time getting a taxi any other way in a sunday morning. Thanks for everything during my stay.
I think the only thing I liked about this property is that it’s centrally located to whatever things you wanna do go see like food shopping it’s not too far from the train. But the only thing that is not a bed-and-breakfast. I wasn’t told that there was a breakfast offered. It’s just a bed in a room in a bathroom so if you just looking for a good place to lay your head good price. This is a place.
Our stay was perfect! She made us a wonderful breakfast and helped to make sure we had everything we needed. They even offered to keep our bags for the day if we needed.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive and helpful to any of our needs from the beginning to the end. Don’t miss the breakfast it’s definitely worth it!!
The front reception staff were very accommodating. They helped us call an early morning taxi so we could go to the airport.
When I booked it, it says breakfast included, but when we checked in, we were told breakfast was not included.
Incredible hospitality. Amazing staff who were available at any time for request. Do yourself a favour and book the breakfast. It’s personally cooked by the B&B owner who has lived in Naples for many years. You’ll be treated to a homemade Italian omelette, coffee, and fresh pastries. Would highly recommend staying here as it is a very convenient location. However it is a bit noisy.
The surrounding area was off-putting, but it is really close to many sights. It was close to the ferry port which we needed. The room was so cute and comfy. Our host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning stellar! Delicious, in a terrace overlooking the city and a lovely woman will make you an omelette. Would definitely recommend, do not be swayed by the neighborhood!
The hosts are amazing! Definitely book breakfast at least one morning- it is family-home-cooked on a lovely roof top terrace. The room was stylish and comfortable. The rooms are up quite a few flights of stairs or a tiny little vintage elevator. There is a lot to walk to including Via Roma/Toledo and the historic center. This place is difficult to find and access with rolling luggage from the airport bus; definitely take a cab!
Great room and breakfast
Amazing room in a great location. Breakfast was AMAZING. So hospitable. We will definitely be back!
Close to Ferries
A cosy little place tucked down an alley, and within walking distance to the ferries. Also near lots of shopping and lots of restaurants. Very pleasant staff who can arrange reasonable shuttle fees to the airport.
The family that owns this property is extremely nice. They went out of their way to be very helpful with us.
Great room, and great location
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful B and B. Giuseppe and his amazing Mother were very helpful from the first minute to the last. The room was fully Air Conditioned and quite appropriate for the three of us. The Breakfast on the roof terrace is a must for your stay in La Casa Di Bruno. We will definitely return one day that's for sure.
Very good location, walking distance form the old city and many other attractions, clean room and friendly service.
The room was spacious and nice. It was in a pretty good area with lots of food and shops nearby. Overall great place!
Great B & B in the Porto area
Great B & B close to Naples port. Easy check-in and communication with host. Beautiful room with a european character and an amazing view. Located between two metro stations, it is also at a walking distance (about 20 min) from the historic center and Garibaldi train station (we walked the whole time and never felt that the Porto area was not safe). Italian breakfast served by a lovely lady on the terrace.
Perfect location for walking through CentroStorico
Great place with a lovely service. We had a room with a panoramical view which was very romantic. Very quiet spot which is not typical in Napoli
Guiseppe, Mario and Lia(their amazing breakfast host) were outstanding. Amazing. Wonderful atmosphere, nice room with a little terrace. Close to all the action. Il Migliore!
Great
It was like staying with family.
Great stay in heart of Naples
Nice big room with clean bathroom and big bed; B&B was centrally located and staff were responsive and friendly
We enjoyed our stay, the owner was very nice, great breakfast on the beautiful terrasse. The terrasse was not available outside the breakfast period. The room: the bathroom was newly redone, the room was clean. Can’t say as much for the building, the area was ok. I was travelling alone with my son and not sure I wanted to walk back to our hotel at night.
Barbara
Nice and friendly host. Great place for sightseeing Neapol.
Such a nice place to stay. Great location, near the port so good transport links. The hosts at the b&b were so helpful and friendly. Mario gave some great recommendations of places to go. Breakfast is really reasonably priced. Room was perfect. Clean and spacious with a small balcony. Was a pleasure to stay here!
Very practical room, good size, convenient, relatively close to Railway station The managing person is a very cute, pleasant person by the way I did realize - unfortunately the last day - thes ist a huge terras on to of building overseeing wonderfully part of city center of Naples
Wonderful property and gracious and attentive hosts!
Great B&B
Well located, small B&B with rooms on the fifth floor, run by a charming couple who live upstairs. Room was spacious, clean and well equiped, walk in wardrobe and balcony with a decent view. Would definitely stay again.
I stayed in the blue room and it has a large closet, balcony, and large bathroom. The view overlooks Vomero Hill and the city. Breakfast is upstairs on the patio from 8-10am which is the only time you have access to the patio as it's off the owner's apartment. The building is old but definitely has its charm. You take the elevator to the 4th floor and then walk the remaining steps to the 5th floor. There was some sort of renovations going on in the building during the day as it was sometimes kind of loud. I would recommend staying here.
We enjoyed our stay
This is a fabulous place hidden in a historic building in the old city. Excellent breakfast.
Mediocre stay at Casa do Bruno
Sketchy looking building. Did not feel super comfortable walking around by myself in the evening. Extremely hot in the rooms-can’t keep the AC on or it will blow a fuse. Good breakfast and nice roof terrace.
Amazing
The owner could not do enough for you.
8 out of 10 work the price
A little tricky to find, located on extreme narrow roads, on top floor so tiny elevator was a plus, had to walk up final flight of stairs with heavy suitcases.. view not as nice as I hoped but rooftop terrace was nice. Host and room was great... rooftop breakfast was intimate and excellent!
La Casa had friendly service and were very helpful in arranging ride/taxi service for us.
Lovely, atmospheric setting with beautiful terrace views. Signora Lea is the most charming hostess. We are looking forward to staying here again next week on our way back through fabulous Naples.
Fantastic B&B in Naples
We had a fantastic stay at La Casa di Bruno for two nights in Naples. The B&B is wonderfully located and walking distance to the whole city and bus stop to the airport. Both rooms we stayed in were adorably decorated, clean and stocked with everything we needed. Be sure to make the most of breakfast on the terrace - home cooked with beautiful views of the city! Definitely would recommend staying here!
Big room and great breakfast
My room was a great value because it was large, clean, comfortable and the morning breakfast was better than I expected. The lady who runs the place only knows a few words of English but she was very welcoming and helpful. The B&B is at the very top of an old building on a street that was hard for me to find but, it has an elevator and I was able to walk to/from the train station in 20 minutes. My room had a nice reading area where I sat and accessed the wi-fi. I was served omelets, 2 cups of great coffee, pastries , juice and fruits for breakfast.
Hard to find but lovely once there
Very hard to find, I was looking for it whilst it was dark and I was stood outside for a while without being able to see it. Once inside it was lovely, the lady was very welcoming although she did not speak much English she tried very hard and booked transport for me for the morning. The room was gorgeous with a very large bathroom and a walk in wardrobe
Taste of Naples Close to Port
La Casa di Bruno was lovely and had an authentic vibe. The bedroom was nicely appointed and the bathroom was very clean. Homemade breakfast was a highlight and the owner was warm and friendly. The B&B is walking distance to the port (e.g. Ferries to Capri) and away from the grittiness of the train station. I'm not sure I would be comfortable to walk in the area at night (definitely not alone) but the day time was okay.
Magnifique

Stairs might be a challenge for some guests
If you have issues with stairs, this is not the place for you. The rooms are on level 4 and 5 with breakfast on 6. There is no elevator beyond level 4 and at times people did not shut the elevator door properly (old school) and twice I had to climb up 5 flights of stairs with a strained ankle. So if you have an issue going up stairs, I do not recommend. However friendly owner who provides breakfast (not much English but we were able to communicate fine), helpful in figuring out arrival and entry and fairly convenient location.
