I don't think there is a better location in Kyoto to stay. You are away from the busier spots in Kyoto and the mountains are just a walk away. Getting up in the mornings and getting to explore right outside the hotel was very exciting. Great staff and quiet, clean rooms. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay in .

The staff was attentive and kind. They tried their best to use English so that my partner would understand the conversation. I was even allowed to leave my luggage in order to explore on the day I was meant to checkout.

Staff was great and friendly - hotel was clean and comfortable - great area within walkable distance from several temples, shrines, and museums. Will definitely stay here again. 10/10. 5 stars

The food options, the people, location, qnd inner room was all amazing.

This property has three floors but no elevator. So if your assigned room is on the third floor, you would need to carry your luggage up the flight of stairs. Front desk staff spoke English. I arrived before dinner time, reception requested a staff from the kitchen team to help me with my luggage. The property is ideally located; 5 mins on foot to Heian Shrine and 20 mins on foot to Kiyomizudera.

I was suprised to find they have a nice little onsen style bath. It’s modest but perfect after a long flight. And most of the staff spoke English.

Nice but nothing fancy

If you need a warm place to sleep in December, this hotel will do just fine. Staff super friendly and helpful. Restaurant in the main lobby was good for a quick meal. Nothing fancy here, though. No elevator, so be prepared. Rooms are a little shabby and small, but they are clean. Not much room to move or space for luggage. Cramped for a family of three.

Great location

Great location, friendly staff. They can watch your luggage while you site see after checkout. The building is older and the bathrooms are quite small.

The room is very small as well as the bathroom. The location is pretty good for sightseeing and food.

Great for budget travelers and backpackers

Staff were amazing to hold my luggage until check in time. The area is a bit far from Kyoto station, but it's located near a shrine with the zoo nearby. There is no lift but the staff placed my luggage in my room already so I wouldn't have to struggle to the 3rd floor. They provide towels, tooth brush and paste, some samples, Yukata, and the floor was all tatami mat, you can find your futon in the cupboard and you'll have to make it yourself, very comfy by the way and I had a great night sleep. The bathroom was tiny which I didn't mind but the sink and toilet are out dated. But it was only for a night so I didn't mind. All was good for my short stay!!!

Good place to stay in Kyoto

A very nice place to stay. Although it's not too close to most of the attractions in kyoto, it's located in a nice and quiet area. The Inn itself is somewhat moderne with either western style rooms with beds or more traditional Japanese futon. They also provide onsen which is a plus. The traditional rooms are quite spacious with many utilities. Our experiences were really good.

Decent

Pretty small, especially the bathroom. Kind of old and sedated, but I'm also used to American hotels. Not bad for the price.

Hot mineral bath!

The best thing about this pleasant place is the hot baths. Each room has a tiny tub, but downstairs there are baths, separate for men and women, that are like a small shallow swimming pool full of hot water, with adjoining areas to wash before you get in. Lovely! Pool has polished-granite floor and surround, and a sign says it's natural mineral water, but it smells and feels like ordinary water. Open 3pm til midnight. Wonderful. Also the location is excellent, a mile or less from the bottom of the Philosopher's Way, and right across the street from two art museums. There are varied restaurants in easy walking distance and you can buy breakfast at the hotel. 7-11 on the corner has lots of takeout food and will heat it for you or there's a microwave in the hotel lobby, & drink vending machines. The staff are very nice indeed, tho with limited English. The rooms, tho clean, are nothing special, but the baths are special enough for anything!

エクスペディアの手違いでホテルには迷惑をかけましたが、快く対応してもらいました。 本当に感謝です。 部屋も快適で、大浴場も広くて入浴者も少なかったので何度も入らせていただきました。 寺社へのアクセスも良くて、立地も良いです。 次に京都に行くことがあれば、また利用したいです。

場所は良かった

和室 清潔にしようとしている感じ。 京都市立美術館、国立近代美術館前でよかった。

周辺地域やスタッフはとても良かったが、、やはり、エレベーターは欲しかった、、 重たいキャリーケースを持っての階段は疲れる

チェックインが深夜になってしまったのですが　フロントの方の電話対応が良かったです。

素泊まりなら十分です！

全体的に文句のないホテルでしたが、階段しかないのと、お部屋にコンセントが少なくて少し不便でした。フロントの方の対応など素晴らしくまた利用したいです

近くに平安神宮が有り バス停もあり使いやすい

設備は若干古いですが掃除は行き届いてました。コンビニもバス停も近く、周辺には平安神宮や動物園、疏水やインクラインなど近くに見どころがたくさんでアクセスも良いです^^ またぜひ利用したいと思います(⁎ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈⁎)

大浴場があり、お客さんが少ない時期だったので1人でゆっくり入れました。 駐車場もあるので、車で来る際はとても助かります。しかし大きい車だと入りにくいのが難点でした。 南禅寺や平安神宮にも近いので、観光に行くときにはいいと思います。

自分にとってはロケーションだけで大満足ですがコストパフォーマンスも良いと思います。もっと早く見つけたかったです。

好立地にリーズナブルに泊まれるお宿

ユニットバスの設備が新調されていて、気持ちよかった。大浴場があることを知らなかったので、お得な気分も味わえた。Wi-Fiの調子がイマイチ。コーヒーのサービスが無いのは残念。

平安神宮に近く参拝をとても楽しめました。エレベーターが無いので宿泊する階によっては何度も出入りするのは大変かも。駐車場が出入り自由とありましたが縦列駐車のため不便を感じましたが　観光地まで徒歩移動可能な場所なので車を使わずに楽しめる施設です。

イベントに参加するために使わせていただきました。交通の便についてはとてもいいです。また、場所柄散歩をしても京都らしい風景に出会えます。このお値段でならとてもお得感があります

よかった点 ・畳の部屋で懐かしい感じを覚えました。 ・あまりうるさくなかった。 ・ユニットバスが新しかった。 気になった点 ・エレベーターなし。行きはスタッフがスーツケースを持って4F部屋まで持って行ってもらえました。帰りは自分で持って1Fまで行きました。 ・コンセントが少ない。コンセント持ってなかったんでスマホやその他機器の充電が不便でした。

お値打ちです。駐車場は難易度高い。大型車は大変

3人部屋（3ベッド）を探していたので、シングルベッドが3つあるお部屋があり助かりました。室内もとても整理されて綺麗でした。大浴場もあり旅の疲れも癒せました。また、平安神宮や京セラ美術館が目の前にあり、朝のお散歩にも観光にも最高に適しています。

リピートは求めないかも・・

立地良く、外出しての行動に便利。朝食は美味しかった。壁や布団カバーはきれいなアートに包まれていて気持ちいい。 ただし部屋の照明が暗いので活字を読むのも化粧するのも不可。部屋のソファー、カーペット、ドアなど古くて臭いが不快。空気清浄機が未設置でウイルス対策としても防犯の観点からも窓の換気もできなくて不快。清潔感は第一にしてほしい。ユーザーはただ寝るだけじゃなく、快適な旅を更に演出してほしいことを理解して欲しい。

値段の割には良かったです。大浴場も清潔です。エレベーターがあれば良かったです。

時代祭にビッタリのホテルです

時代祭の前日に泊まりました。 ロケーションが、とても良かったです。 平安神宮の鳥居近くで、翌日時代祭の行列が帰ってくる場所なので、準備も終わって緊張感がありました。 料金も安く気軽に利用できるホテルです。

It stands near Heian‐jingu shrine. Very convenient to visit several famous sightseeing spots around there. But,they don't have any lifts is one of their weak points.

とても良い場所でリーズナブルで良かったのですが、ベッド一つの方が ピロカバーが、汚れていた、そこだけが残念でした 後は本当に良かったです

京都に行く事があれば利用したいです

近くにセブンイレブンがあり便利です。 バス・電車でも下車してわかりやすい道なので便利です。 京都駅からはちょっとありますが途中下車でお店が沢山あるので食事・買い物には困りません。 室内も清潔、必要なアメニティも揃っていますし、室内でもwifiが繋がるのもよかったです。 徒歩1分程度でセブンイレブンもあるのでとても便利です。 階段しかありませんが、到着時はキャリーを運んでもらえたので助かりました。 京都に行くときはまた利用したいと思います。

大浴場あり

部屋は清潔感あり大浴場でゆっくり入れたので 良かったです。

おそらく古い館内ですが、おしゃれな装飾をされていて清潔感もあり満足でした。エレベーターがないので、そこは少し不便に感じました。

ロームシアター京都に近いので選びました。 泊まれたらいいかな、の普通のレベルでした。

예술을 좋아하는 사람들한테는 최고의 휴식처

교토근현대미술관, 헤이안 신사, 콘서트홀, 서점과 같이 있는 스타벅스, 편의점 등 도보 2~3분거리에 다 모여있어 일본의 고전과 현대 문화를 종합적으로 느낄 수 있음. 전체적으로 마음에 들었지만 엘리베이터가 없어 3~4층은 불편할 수 있고, 다다미를 깐 쪽 구역 계단은 오래된 건물인지 계단에 올라갈 때면 쿰쿰한 냄새가 남(숙소 내는 냄새도 없고, 청결한 편). 오래된 건물이어서 가지는 단점 제외하고는 근처에 배회할 공간들이 많은, 괜찮은 숙소.

フロントスタッフさんに感謝

昨年11月、エレベーターが設置されていないこちらのホテルに高齢の母と宿泊しました。 チェックイン時、眺望のリクエストに気づかれたスタッフさんが部屋が空いているのでとアップグレードしてくださいました。４階まで階段ですが大丈夫ですかと母に気遣ってもくださいました。 チェックアウト時も、階段がたいへんで申し訳なかったと、温かいお言葉で送り出していただきました。 階段は承知で希望の部屋を与えていただいたのに、皆様にお気を使わせてしまった事、申し訳なく思っています。 設備に関しては、部屋にも浴室はありますが、地下にある大浴場でのびのびとお湯に付かれたのが良かったです。 ホテル近隣で食事ができる店は22時には閉店してしまうところばかりでしたので、私達は使いませんでしたが、フロント近くに電子レンジがあるのも便利だなと思います。コンビニは一筋西の角にありました。 紅葉の名所にも行きやすく、充実した京都小旅行ができました。 ありがとうございました。
