Location is away from the center of the crowd but close to everything. Recommend

Beautiful understated grandeur.

Disappointment

We were so disappointed with the service. I don't really know what was the reason for that but we were not welcomed with the welcome drink and couple who arrived 10 mins after us got glasses of champagne. Staff speak really poor English and in some matters we couldn't even communicate wich should not happen in this type of 5 star property. Breakfast was also really poor and they didn't even provide slices of cheese. Staff in breakfast area also have problems with communication in English and we had to wait like 20 mins for the dishes we ordered. Its nice that they have menu option to order hot dishes but the dishes when ready were laying in the kitchen and becoming cold and less enjoyable and I had to ask whether I have to pick up the dishes on my own. We also ordered latte and we were waiting 40 mins for the coffee which was not even delivered despite the fact that I asked again what's up with the coffee which is not acceptable in this type of accomodation. Room was nice but had its drawbacks. Overall the stay was really mediocre and I was really shocked that service this poor can happen in 5 star hotel. One thing that I was happy about was service in the spa area even tho I got a shredded bathrobe that was obviously changed for another one. The young man at the pool took really good care of the space and guests. Don't know if all this was due to my young age (im 22) but in my opinion everyone should be treated same way.

Loved our stay here. We booked 5 rooms for our large family holiday and we all really loved the rooms and excellent service we received. The concierge service was exceptional!!

Facilities were excellent and the staff professional and courteous. Ticked all the boxes for a wonderful visit.

The front desk charged for for $270.00 worth of food that I did not even order or have. They said they will initiate a wire transfer but they never did.

Our stay at Kozmo Hotels was absolutely delightful! Refined luxury in a very comfortable hotel. Everything felt new and fresh, big room and excellent toiletries. Breakfast and sauna/pool not included with our room and prohibitedly expensive, but there was free gym access and great location meant lots of delicious breakfasts and meals nearby.

A fancy place to stay but ….

The building is interesting and rooms are stylish, in a quiet part of Budapest. It is however not value for money. I waited for one hour to check in(arrived at 16:00, not exactly too early). The jacuzzi in the spa was not working. Otherwise you pay to enter - a small pool and sauna. Worst part of my stay was that a staff came into my room at 21:30…. Even for a house keeping it is late. Food is mediocre. So all in all not a good value for money, though it offers an alternative place to stay in Budapest.

Nice hotel but fee to use pool

The hotel is beautiful and friendly staff, the only downside was that you have to pay to use their pool.

Pretty Dope Hotel

The room was dope....Food is good as well. Bistro is open but not the main restaraunt. The hotel is very nice!

Everything was excellent

Fantastic, modern, super-cool hotel. Feels like it’s just recently opened as everything seems brand new. It’s about a 40 min walk to the tourist centre but much quicker if you take the excellent public transport (nearest station a five minute walk from the hotel). The area immediately in front of the hotel is recently renovated and very nice but elsewhere is a little run down.

Excellent family room situation. The adjoining rooms with the private door was perfect for travelling with kids whilst still maintaining privacy

Poor location

The best hotel in Budapest

Front desk was so helpful and friendly! We arrived early from our flight and we were allowed to check in early and rest. Everything was perfect! We took bolt to go around Budapest. It was a perfect hotel to rest after a day of walking. Book this hotel and you won’t regret it.

Definitely recommend, beautiful upscale hotel. Spa was lovely.

Beautiful hotel with one quirk…

Beautiful hotel. We stayed as a family. The bathroom doors were all glass as was the closet/dressing area which was weird. Traveling with teenage children and the only dry place for privacy to change was in the toilet area. They should add a curtain at least in the closet area so you can pull it across for changing. We stayed in the junior suite. Also, would hve been nice to have more English channels. MTV was the only thing available in English. Close enough to main attractions. Public transport is less than 4 min away (the hotel gave us tickets to ride for free). Hop on hop off bus stop is about a 13 min walk. Overall I would recommend as they do have a great breakfast, pool table, spa facilities and was a beautiful spacious room.

Excellent room. Breakfast service was a bit slow

Prior to arriving we arranged private transport through the concierge at the hotel. This was very straight forward and done by email. The journey from the Airport takes about 30 mins by car. On arrival at the Hotel we had a very warm welcome by Christian the conciege who organised the transport. He is extremely helpful, professnal & friendly. The reception staff make you feel very welcome with a glass of Proseco. The hotel is very modern with a good mix of old and new architecture and furnishings. We had a suite which was very spacecious and comfortable with a neutral calming deco. There is everything you would expect in your room from a 5 star hotel to make it a comfortable stay.The spa was nice however smaller than expected missing a steam room and the pool was cold but invigorating. (Not used to a cold pool). Spa staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately more than three swimmers it will become crowded. The spa was a bit of a let down as this was part of booking the reservation for this hotel. This did not effect our stay just a little dissapointing. Breakfast was very good with ample choices to choose from and a small Al'a Carte menue The waiting on staff are friendly and polite. The hotel has plenty of relaxing areas to if you get chance. Getting into town can bit of a treck for the less mobile. Its at least a 30 min walk to the Christmas markets however local transport is close by if your happy to use. A taxi costs roughly 3000 Forint (£7.50) one way.

This is absolutely stunning hotel from all points ! Great value for money on top of that!

Grest hotel

Great Stay! lovely hotel and vetted kind staff. And I liked the location, to be a bit quiet and not in the middle of touristy areas thought close by foot. Highly recommend. Room 55 was spacious and very elegant. Highly recommend it.

Our city break stay was great from start to finish. Laszlo on reception and Daniel in the bar were exemplary. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. First class facilities.

Great 5 days at the kozmo superior room came with large bathroom and dressing room. Beautiful hotel slightly at edge of center but not long to walk from anywhere. Great service.

Amazing on all levels

I travel a lot but this hotel has over achieved on all levels. The people are amazingly friendly and made our stay unique. The rooms are huge and have a large bath. The restaurant offers great food and drinks. I will be back when visiting Budapest

Very interesting old building that has been renovated in a contemporary style. Our room was enormous with amazing ensuite bathroom and very comfortable bed. It needed some more plants in pots in reception, and in the outside lobby!

Loved our stay at Kozmo! The actual building is breathtaking and the design very well thought. The staff was quickly to fix a little issue with our shower and they made us feel spoilt since the moment we stepped in. The location is quite, walking distance from many good spots for food and shopping. Our weekend felt superspecial and we will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful. The concierge Zoltan was so helpful and informative. He arranged lunch and dinner bookings throughout our stay which were wonderful! Would highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Nice building / Bad experience

The hotel was ok. But very disappointed of the service. First at all no where is written that they block around 100€ per night from your account. Whatever i agree 2 weeks later they still keep my deposit and when i contact the hotel they say is from the bank and i need to wait 5-10 working days. 3 weeks later they charge my 20€ for spa service (the same one need to be deducted from the deposit).Regarding the Deposit they don’t return it yet ( 3 weeks later ) I can’t believe how is possible 3 weeks after your stay hotel to use your credit cart details and keep your deposit.Unacceptable!

Very nicely remodeled building. Breakfast space was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Rooms were large and bathrooms were exceptional. Only negative comment was the pool/spa area didn't offer much seating or hooks for towels and robes. The floor in the spa area is also very slippery. And there is a sauna but no steam room.

Very clean and beautiful hotel. Location was a bit difficult to find, not the best for transport links into the centre of Budapest. Amenities could improve, our room could have been bigger (for a king size). I wouldn’t give them the 5 stars, compared to other 5 star hotels I have stayed at. But definitely 4 stars

Incredible property and the staff, in every area of the hotel, could not be more perfect. One of the most enjoyable experiences at any hotel, and I am a hotel owner.

This is a wonderful historic place which amazingly renovated and rebuilt to become such an outstanding place . Staff are extremely nice and helpful and fully aimed to make sure you have a wonderful stay. I strongly recommend and will stay in future .

The service was the best I've seen in years and I travel a lot. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The location is not ideal but if you don't mind using the trams and subways it's fine. I recommend it very highly

I was attracted to Kozmo by its world class architectural design. Then I found its private photograph collection hung in many suites and common area, made this hotel so unique that you won't find such an artistic space in other top hotels in Budapest. Staff are really friendly. Very private and comfortable hotel to be in.

Family stay

Lovely hotel. Amazing front of house and so clean and lovely decor. Good size rooms and the kids had a separate connected room. Hard to fault!!

Amazing place to stay in Budapest

Loved this place we returned several times in our Europe tour. The stuff are very very knowledgeable and extremely kind and helpful. They were wonderful, the hotel is newly built inside, high end interior, sheets and bed is like heaven, pool and jacuzzi is amazing, the whole place is spotless extremely clean! Lots of choices on breakfast buffet and ala carte very tasty freshly baked sweets were one of my favourite! Thank you for taking care of us , can't wait to return again soon

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even when I needed water at midnight they brought it to my room. The spa is so relaxing and the pools are big enough to swim laps in. The rooms were extremely beautiful and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bed sheets also smelled amazing! Would definitely come back to visit again! It’s great value for the price.
