Downtown and free parking. Shower was cold…
We wanted an inexpensive and close place to stay while visiting. This place fit the bill. The room was big enough for the two of us and the bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.
super close to the dodgers stadium, expensive for such a small room but nevertheless we had much fun, very strict on marijuana tho
Great place
Great spot and great local restaurants
The stay was great, very simple and affordable!
It was clean and the front desk was especially helpful. However, our room was right above the freeway so loud. Also, the promotions say complimentary breakfast which ended in 2020!
For the location of the room and the price. The room was pretty decent. The bathrooms can get some upgrading but overall, it was a good experience. I would stay here again if going to any sports events near downtown LA.
Solid place, great interactions with staff, more character than I'd expected. A little janky but not in a bad way.
Great for price
Walking distance to Dodger Stadium. Cute and inexpensive bakery across the street.
We liked the big tv and let us login in to Netflix. Definitely need new furniture though
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was old and ghetto.
Friendly staff and always so accommodating
Not as advertised.
It's an ok place to stay at if you're going to a Dodgers' game. I wouldn't stay there if you are traveling with young children. It's an older property for sure and parking is limited.
Great location. Only 30min walk to the Dodger stadium. Not fancy but comfortable clean room. Only thing was the bathroom door couldn't be shut properly. Very friendly and professional staff. Especially Alex helped us so much with our taxi trouble. Definitely will go again.
Is convenient.
Have stayed multiple times and will continue to do so. Such friendly staff
Pros/cons stay
My best friend and I just got home from our stay here. I reserved two separate rooms so we would both be comfortable. For the rate (about $980 for three nights + two rooms), I knew it wasn’t going to be a reservation at the Four Seasons, so I had realistic expectations in mind before arriving. Pros: Pretty good rate if you’re traveling to LA on a budget. Location is pretty good depending on if you’re looking to get something in proximity to downtown (our trip goal was DragCon at the convention center which also explained my reservation choice). The rooms are situated directly above a bar located next door, with a restaurant and bakery nearby, so there are a couple options that are close, or through delivery if you prefer. Freeway access is also a plus. There are about 15 covered parking spots in the small garage next to the entrance, which is free for guests (one of the signs indicating parking was for guests had “Hotel guests only” written in Sharpie so in spirit with what I was getting into, it wasn’t a big surprise). Free WiFi as well. My room had a built-in 43 inch Roku TV which was a pleasant surprise. The room lamps have outlets and USB ports. The check in process wasn’t too bad. My room also had a mini fridge. Cons: I’m not one to complain so these are more so observations from my experience: The bedsheets were pretty thin, shower was lukewarm at best, there were some dents in the wall that looked like nobody had bothered to repair just yet. My sink drain had a bot
Very friendly nice location
Safe with gated parking.
I want to give many thanks to the whole staff from Knights inn Hotel, I honestly had a wonderful time the six days and five nights that I spent there. One of the Staff members George, was super helpful and gave me good tourist guidance since Day 1, considering that I visited LA solo and helped me to explore the city completely. I recommend to spend your days here If you’re looking for a place out of the crowd and if you’re a Baseball Fan, you have the Dodger one mile walk which it was great. Thank you again and until next time.
Free parking! Friendly staff. The pillows were not right for me.
You get what you pay for but that being said it’s an easy scooter ride to the dodger stadium and local bars and food. Staff was amazing. It wasn’t loud at night thankfully. Room could be cleaner but it is what it is. One night stay to go to the dodger game was worth it.
Downtown LA hotel
The hotel is centrally located close to all points of interest and attractions. Clean, friendly staff. Easy to get to
Cool little hotel
The front desk customer service was such a helpful and friendly person. Answered all our questions. The room was qaint and clean. The underground garage is gated which provided extra security to our vehicle. Next to the hotel was a bar and a restaurant. The area itself was decent. Also it’s close to dodger’s stadium which is why we chose this location.
Good stay, close enough to downtown LA and convention center, enclosed parking is included but can be tight if full. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. I had problems with my tv remote, front staff person came promptly to resolve issue. Convenient bakery/breakfast place across the street and yummy barbecue place two doors down. You get some noise from the freeway. Older building but adequate for a short stay. I would stay there again.
It was pretty great and I might’ve given it five stars but I accidentally left my Bluetooth speaker in the room and when I went back an hour later to claim it I was told that no such item was found in the room, which means the maid staff clicked it. Oh well my fault really but I’m certainly not giving five stars
i was scared to stay here bc of the negative reviews but honestly it wasn't bad at all . it was super convenient for staying after a dodger game . the area didn’t feel unsafe at all ! the property was a little outdated / not the nicest but for the price it wasn’t bad whatsoever . if needed , i would stay again .
had a good stay no complains
Unpleasant
Worker was not in office when checking in. Had to walk inside property to look for him. Called phone but voice-mail was full n could not leave a message. Hairs n wet towels left in bathroom. Dirty Sheets with stains...
101 Freeway view motel
It was the last night in LA and picked Knughts Inn , since I grew up close by & Iis in Exho Park / Angeleno Heights area I thought why not ; the staff were very friendly and restaurant downstairs is one of Echo Parks trendy restaurants 2024 & food was amazing! It’s called Parkls finest bbq!!! Most of the rooms are on the second floor an the room we had had balcony /patio but it was right off the Hollywood freeway 101 and was very loud and dusty I felt as we were inhaling gas fumes :( other than that beds were tooo soft and the rug was so old and flat itlcoildnt be barefoot and there was what looked like someone left a hot rein on the floor cause it’s a outline of an iron ! Well for the price I give this place a 4 out of 10 !
I liked how close it was to Dodgers Stadium and that it had dining options right across the street.
Small beds that aren't super comfy. They aren't terrible. Nice 11am check out, thats later than a lot of the hotels I have stayed at with the 10am check out. Great walkability to bars and food
Property is convenient to Dodger stadium, within walking distance. However, property needs a lot of TLC, especially the walls ie washing or painted. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
Our stay was very uncomfortable throughout our whole 2 nights. We first walked into a room that was supposedly a “non-smoking” area but reeked of cigarettes badly, then later on found cockroaches and spiders all over the room. We asked to switch rooms and they were nice about that then gave us an “upgrade” which was a little better but still had dead bugs on the floor. Also, the shower was broken so we couldn’t shower at all.
Friendly staff! Comfortable rooms balcony. Gated parking ! Was a great stay will stay again.
Was clean and lots to do around the area
Great staff and good hotel.
I'll stay here again
It's definitely downtown, and not a very picturesque part of town. But close to the Music Center and museums and parks. The room itself was great! Spacious and comfortable. We were located at the front of the building and it was pretty quiet until street traffic picked up. I don't think I'd want to stay in a room on the fwy. side. Gated off street parking was a plus, and front desk was charming.
The overall stay was fine. The only problem I had was the toilet had poop stains all running down the outside of the bowl.
Office staff were nice and polite, The room clean and good heater was warm , the place is walkable and safe.
Wifi wasn’t working most of the time
Pretty good hotel. Parking was great and room was quiet regardless of it being next to a loud freeway.
Rr
The place is nice and clean. The room was big and very clean, I would stay at this place again in my next visit, front desk personnel very friendly makes you feel welcome.
Excellent
Surprisingly nice, good value
Great location close to downtown/Music Center, near the freeway. Clean quiet room with comfortable bed and nice amenities. Free secure parking. Restaurant, bakery, bar are within walking distance. Good value for what you get. Would stay again.
Well it was my 1st time in California very beautiful state. As far as the Knights Inn hotel the staff was very nice & pleasant, the surrounding area was also nice its in a good neighborhood & i felt safe. There's a bar connected to the hotel ( I didn't have time to visit it) but it was a young well behaved crowd coming & going. It's also a Philippino barbeque joint next to the bar ( again didn't get a chance to visit it). Overall i enjoyed my stay the room was smaller than expected but it worked for the short time i was there. 10 minute drive from the Crypto.com arena (30 minutes in traffic) but i would certainly stay there again.
Room was really dirty and dusty .
Good value and location. Parking was a plus.
Great customer service. Friendly staff. However, no phone in my room.
Great cheap place to stay with free parking. Will use again when I'm in downtown LA.
Very friendly staff. Reason I keep returning
All great
The bed was comfortable and the room was cool. The carpet felt sticky and the shower needs a little repair but I would stay there again. Very convenient to the Dodgers Stadium and staff very friendly
Hotel staff very welcoming, kind, and helpful
Had a great stay, wonderful staff at front desk, secure free parking, room was nice - only complaint was hairs all over sheets and towels, bed is also very stiff. We will be back however for trips to little Tokyo ~8 minutes away !
Over all a decent places to rest your head and enjoy the downtown experience. :)
Beds were very hard and room was little dirty and had a smell to it.
Great stay
Had a good and comfortable stay with all the basic amenities. At a walking distance to the Dodgers Stadium and lots of cool bars.
Loved the stay! Great staff and convenient bar and restaurant right next store. Will be back, no doubt!
All three staff members that I spoke to were very very kind, especially the man who checked me in and the man who gave me a second room key when I accidentally locked myself out of my room at 2:30 AM 😅
Accomodating staff. We checked in late and was confused for a moment how we will get to the parking lot. But attending staff opened the gates to the parking structure.
The property was very quiet and the gated parking was great for keeping thw car safe. The desk clerks were very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and if there was any issues the clerks got someone on it quickly. The only issues i really had was the breakfast was advertised and they didnt serve it. Also it advertised a microwave in the room. Which there wasnt and asked for new sheets and towels for 2 days striaght and never got the maid service. I definitely will stay here again when we visit in the summer. It was near all the highways and everything we wanted to do was within 30 mins of driving from there.
The place can improve. Bed was comfortable but there was no free breakfast but when I booked online it stated that it’s free breakfast. It’s was misleading.
Good value
Friendly check in. Good room for value. Nice recommendations for supper and breakfast nearby. Would stay again
Was calm and quiet, worth the price.
Parking and check in was a breeze. The staff is extra helpful, and its only a 20 min walk to the Disney Concert Hall. We will be back!
Adequate
Totally adequate accommodations in an area without many hotel options. We were happy. Older property but clean. There is no complimentary breakfast as advertised.
Front desk attendant was very personable.
Great in everything from nice customer service to the rooms being super clean...will stay there again
A Nice Surprise
Older hotel, but clean and affordable. Super helpful staff. I can't say enough about the excellent service we received on transportation, places to see, good food suggestions, sketchy areas to watch out for - even help with metro tickets. And they remembered our name the day after. Very easy to get around as it is close to downtown L.A., the 101, etc. You must try The Park's Finest - Filipino inspired BBQ.
Okay
Great
Chris at check in was the sweetest. Property def needs a lot of work. Very old. Lobby smelled of marijuana but not horrible. Room was spacious. Beds clean. What was horrible was our room was right over the bar/club and the music went until 2 am both nights. Freeway is literally right outside your window b it it was more white noise. We picked this place for its location to Dodger stadium. Very short walking distance. If we moved to other side of building the noise would be fine.
A very clean, quiet and tidy unit inside. Not much else is really needed except for a table lamp/desk lamp to work at the table. Outside looked a bit estaurants…shabby but the sleeping accommodations inside more than made up for it. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. In fact, one staff person gave me a lift a couple of blocks away to an area with a selection of restaurants. He was great…!
Staff and location of the hotel was great. The rooms werent so great. The rooms had very old furnuture. Also, as soon as you stepped in the rooms hallway it smelled like weed and cigarretes. The bed mattress also felt really old and unconfortable.
Wish i could get refund
We ordered this hotel last minute cause we decided to stay in la another day but no one was at the check out desk and door was locked even though description said check in time was from 3pm-5:30am. we had to get another hotel AND we couldn’t get our money back because it was “un refundable”. So be careful about booking late at night
The Staff makes the stay even better!
Easy to access and close to a lot of attractions. Alex at the front desk has amazing customer service and she was extremely helpful in giving us ideas on sites to see and places to eat. Also the restaurant bakery across the street is very convenient with good food at reasonable prices. Hotel also felt safe and we would stay again.
The manager or owner was very nice, and it's not his fault that the hotel was not upgraded, perhaps there was a financial issue. The area was very noisy, I had to walk up the steps to my room with luggage, furniture is old with scratches on it, carpet dirty, t.v. reception was so slow, that when you turned the channels, the screen was black and slow. People outside of the hotel were scary, and checking you out.
Really nice emplyoee
Excellerent
Good hotel
Good! It's not fancy but everything works as it should. It was comfortable stay.
Friendly and wonderful staff. Excellent restaurant next-door
Ok
Not bad all in all
It’s just old and not really updated. Front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The surrounding area isn’t the greatest. We appreciated the covered free parking.
The room they gave us this time for me n my kids was beautiful loved it
No frills, not awful. Bed wasnt very comfortable. Bathroom was tiny, like playing tetris to get in. It was a last minute booking. Wouldnt opt to stay here again.
Great hotel
Great hotel, nice rooms and front desk all really nice people. Will be staying there again
Small quite room walking distance to the Dodgers game I’ll stay here again
Smelly and Gross
The room smelled terrible like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There were stains on the towels we had. We would have canceled and left but it was so late and we had an event to attend so we didn't want to deal with it. Overall one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a motel... I highly don't recommend this place!
Good room
Ok
The hotel was “clean”, however it looks old which makes it appear not clean. The front desk clerk was very nice & check in was quick & easy. There is no free breakfast at this time. There is a bar/restaurant next door where folks get quite loud but the noise stopped before it was too late.
Disappointing!
Very disappointed! The room was located close to Dodger Stadium, but that may have been its only good point. The rooms were very dirty, and the neighborhood was a bit sketchy. To top it off, they double billed me, so now I have to deal with disputing it with my card. Do not recommend.
If you need a place to crash and nothing more...
Stayed here because it was close to Dodger Stadium. There is nothing special about this place. It's just a bed to sleep in. The website says free breakfast, but there was none. Was told it was due to Covid, but restrictions had been lifted, so... Very close to the freeway, so it's loud. Was going to walk to and from the stadium, but the desk clerk said it's better to Uber, especially after dark. 🙄 If you want a cheap place to crash, this will do. As for me, I won't be back. Other reviews made it sound WAY better than it is. The staff was pleasant and there's free parking, so that's good. But I'll spend more somewhere else next time.
Location was conveniently located close to the Dodgers stadium. It had a beautiful view towering down half naked homeless individuals and non stop noisy traffic. The room consisted of dirty sheets, broken blowdryer, stained towels, dirty walls, and a broken AC unit. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. Use your money elsewhere.
Great area for a great price
Overall the staff and location was great. The rooms could have been cleaned better.
Nice property convenient stores around
