Good location near the palace. Rooms were very good size for Tokyo.
Very nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean with an excellent view 😁👍
Location was good, clean, front desk was very helpful.
Very good hotel. Stayed 6 nights. Very quiet room. Short walk across the street to visit the Imperial Palace Gardens. Entrance to the metro is right next to hotel. My room had a fabulous view. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
There's a train station right outside the property, though it's a fair bit away from shopping and restaurants for walking. Room was clean, we ended up with more space than expected, and overall we had a very pleasant experience!
Old Japanese style hotel anc nog upgraded
Room service food was very poor. Dinner was served in a box. I put the box outside the room after finishing the meal. No staff took the box away and it stayed there till I check out. English communication is poor. Hot water is not hot enough for a hot bath in such a cold weather.
Rooms very small, smoking room on our floor was very smelly. Grear view and great breakfast buffet. Did not like how we had to use the room card for utilities in the room, it meant when we were out all day, the room was very hot and uncomfortable when we returned.
Staff are very friendly and nice. It also have everything you needed in a hotel.
Very nice place to stay. Metro right outaide the door.
Very surprised. Beautiful hotel and location
Great breakfast and good location
KKR worst stay
Worst place compared to even mystays
Easy subway access
Very close to main office areas, yet at the corner of the quiet spot near Imperial Palace. Very convenient for many purposes!
Okay stay for business or family trip.
It’s one night stay for flight transfer. It’s close to imperial palace and next to metro station. Building is old but interior is clean and well organized. Front desk does not speak English well but was friendly. A bit noisy since it’s close to high way.
Great hotel. Love it.
Thank you so much. It was an awesome stay!
Great value hotel right next to Imperial Gardens. Wonderful views from our bedroom. In walking range of Marunouchi and Tokyo Station (15 mins)
View of Emperor’s Palace ground on 12th floor with incredible breakfast buffet.
Although close to a subway line, I found the area not as convenient. The JR Line was about 15 min walk away. Didn't think there were shops/restaurant choices around.
Everything was good.
This hotel is amazing! Great location, great staff, clean. Breakfast overlooks the imperial gardens. We loved this hotel and will be back!!!
Good view in Tokyo
Very clean, comfortable room with a good view. (The restaurant options are very limited. Luckily I could get some food after I arrived at 5pm).
Friendly staff, dated with thin walls.
Friendly staff, let us check in early which was a bonus. Room was clean, but dated. Walls are VERY thin - can hear everything beside and above.
Great hotel in fantastic location.
Great friendly hotel situated in a nice part of town with a metro station nearby. The hotel has great restaurants and a good bar with great views of the Skytree. The rooms are small and have comfortable beds and with a good bathroom.
I like the hotel's central location and easy access to public transportation system. But a big problem was the surprising room tax charge to my reserved rooms, even though my paid Orbitz.com hotel invoice clearly indicates that I've paid two (2) room taxes of $59.79 ALREADY! After I explained in Japanese to the front-desk staff that I've already paid the room taxes, they still insisted that I had not paid the room taxes. In the end, I had to pay ADDITIONAL ROOM CHARGES! Though the sums were not much, it is still Outrageous and Totally unexpected!
Reception staff are good, but when I finished breakfast saying thank you to everybody else but me! Especially person like manager saw me leaving but didn’t say anything, I will never go there to have breakfast.
Staff were okay, very by the book typical for Japan. Room small. Otherwise good.
Good location and room, great Japanese restaurant.
I love the cozy feeling. It’s Tokyo, so space is premium. It’s a better hotel than the one I stayed in 2014. Very happy.
This was not my preferred hotel, but it was in the middle of golden week and choice was slim. Calling this a 4 star hotel is pushing the concept - the lobby and facilities are perfectly decent (great perhaps if you’re having a wedding there), but the room was the same as any 2-3 Star Japanese business hotel - small, short bed, with a pokey bath/shower combo bathroom. The major issue however - and the one that makes this hotel impossible to recommend to anyone unless they’re hard of hearing - was the noise from outside the hotel. There is a major trunk road running alongside one side of the hotel, which might have been manageable if the windows werent so thin that they didn’t block any of the noise. I’ve encountered this before in old Japanese hotels - they’re single glazed for some bizarre reason, but I’ve never stayed at one so close to a major traffic artery. So anyway, the road noise didn’t stop ... at all. 3am, 4am, it was like being in the middle of an intersection. Eventually I dug some ear plugs out of my suitcase, and as that still didn’t entirely help, put a pillow over my head. Amazingly I could still hear traffic going past after that, but shoving the air conditioner on full blocked the remaining intrusion. I stayed at the hotel for two nights - if it had been any more then I’d have either insisted on another room if there were any, or I’d have left.
Quick Tokyo stay
Was a great value for a Tokyo hotel in a great location. Good restaurant and service
Middle of the Road
I stayed here while traveling solo. I checked-in late afternoon without a problem and checked out on time within seconds. During my stay the room temperature fluctuated and the walls were a bit thin, hearing the partying next door and the television on the other end.
Adequate bargain hotel with no amenities
First, the good. It is well-priced and generally clean (other than one stray cockroach a colleague dealt with on the first day). The wi-fi is fast, and the shower pressure is good. Service was competent, but I didn't interact enough to have more of an opinion. The "western-style" breakfast was horrible. Despite prepaying (non-refundable) for all five days, my colleague and I both opted to skip after the first day. Poor selection and poorly executed, held in a dated function room that they shoo you out off aggressively at 9AM. I'd strongly recommend not pre-paying and wasting your money. Lots of local options to walk to though if you don't pre-pay. The hotel common areas were lacking. Absolutely no space to sit down with a colleague and work, which is a must-have for me especially internationally. Also, there is no gym (a fact I missed when deciding on hotel, which is my fault). The room itself was just adequate. Dated and small, but at the price point it is hard to complain. The biggest functional issue for me was the lack of storage for a longer (5 day) stay. There is a smallish closet and no drawer/shelf space to speak of. Overall, if your a "just need a bed and shower" person you will be happy with the value and location. The more you value other amenities, the more you'll be disappointed. I wouldn't refuse to go back, but I also wouldn't seek it out again.
Hotel in Good location and reasonable Rate
Good location and overall clean and nice hotel. convenient. Only disappointment is reception staff lack compassion and understanding of situation.
Front office reception staff was horribly uncompassionate and lack understanding. Work like a cold robot. I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Asked for late check out at 1pm due to a meeting, not granted. Told me I need to pay more than ¥6500. Ask for 12pm, not granted. Told me max they can allow is 11.30am (usual is 11am). How generous!!! That's despite the fact I paid for 2 rooms but only stayed in 1 as my colleague didn't managed to check in due to a flight change. So for business traveller who need some flexibility, seem like this hotel may not be the best option.
Ideal
Hotel room was just what was needed, bed was comfy, nice view, quiet room and good sized bathroom
Super clean room and comfortable!
Overall I like to stay at this hotel in Tokyo. It's right next to the imperial palace and its garden. The room is very clean and comfortable! The staff is very polite and helpful. Very convenient location with Toei Subway ~ Takebashi station, via exist 3B straight to the front of hotel entrance, BUT all the stairs, lots of stairs,,, stairs,, stairs,, there is no lift or elevator! Otherwise it would be a GREAT hotel at the central of the Tokyo city. Not easy for all females if you are with big luggage or more then one luggage.
Good to stay calm
I never looked for my location to stay at this area before. But actually it was very convenient. Especially if you know Tokyo's metro line diagram well, the access direct to the station is quite fascinating. Therefore, a bit challenging for Tokyo beginners. There's nothing so stimulating nearby the hotel, except the immense park of the Imperial Palace.
Very convenient hotel, had a nice stay.
Stayed at the KKR Hotel for 5 nights for a meeting just 2 blocks away. Room and bathroom are small, but desk space was sufficient. Good internet. Room has water boiler (tea only provided, no coffee) and a small fridge, nice deep bathtub. Hotel is very close to the Imperial Palace Gardens and has direct access to the metro, main train station is less than $10 taxi ride away, so very convenient.
Nice basic hotel in a financial district.
Basic and clean service. But no shopping in the area.
Tokyo trip
Excellent modern hotel offering really good bargain break , right in centre and easy access to the sights. Surprisingly quiet. Handy Convenience stores and vending machines . Lots to see and do .
Just ok
Not close enough to Tokyo station to walk with luggage. No restaurants around. Terrible cafe in lobby. Staff ok. No help with luggage. They apparently cater to weddings.
Central location
Central location and very close to client office. Clean and warm and everything was good
Very pleasant stay
Great hotel with very good facilities. Had a room overlooking Imperial Palace gardens which was worth the additional cost.
Clean, Quiet, Affordable near Tokyo Main Station
Quiet hotel across street from Imperial Palace East Garden, with a Takebashi Subway entrance at the front door. Nice lobby, Japanese and Western style breakfast buffet. Neighborhood is quiet, mostly offices and government buldings, but close to the sites because of the subway. I used this hotel as a base to explore Asakusa, Ueno Park, the Japan National Museum, Imperial Palace East Garden, Marunouchi, Tokyo International Forum, Ginza, and visited the Tokyo Tower and Sky Tree while staying here. Draw backs - hard to find restaurants/cafes nearby - my first night, I ate at the KFC in the Yomiuri Shimbun building (owner of the Giants baseball team), because it was the only place I could find to eat. The other nights I ate out while in other neighborhoods before returning to hotel. There is a Starbucks hidden away inside a building about a block form the hotel, directly across the north side bridge/entrance into the East Gardens.
Excellent downtown hotel
Very courteous staff in an exceptionally clean hotel. The rooms had all necessary amenities and then some (e.g., a sleeping gown, slippers, shaver, hair brush, clothes press, etc.)
Very comfortable rooms. Staff speaks good English and are very helpful.
Great location, room condition could be better
I stayed at KKR for 3 nights in August, the location of the hotel is excellent (Exit 3B at Takebashi metro station takes you straight to the hotel entrance). The staff seemed very friendly, although I only spoke to them during check in and check out. I stayed in a Deluxe Single Room (double bed) and for Tokyo - it's pretty spacious. Also, the 'Deluxe' option meant that I had a good city view, with Tokyo Skytree in the distance. I had no issues with noise or air con. My only criticism is the condition of the room, there were obvious scratches and marks on the wall and almost every piece of furniture. However, that didn't really affect my stay. There are vending machines on each floor, which I found particularly useful. All in all, it was a nice stay, if what you are looking for is a convenient & comfortable base in the centre of Tokyo, KKR is definitely worth checking out.
Great location
This hotel overlooks the Imperial Palace area of Tokyo and only one metro stop from Tokyo Station, making it a great base from which to explore Tokyo. The hotel is modern and has great views, and there are several convenience stores and coffee shops within a couple blocks to grab breakfast or snacks. Also highly recommend running (or walking) the 5K loop around the Imperial Palace grounds. One thing to be aware of: I booked a room with 2 beds, but didn't realize I needed change "number of guests" to 2 as well. Upon arrival at the hotel we were asked to pay an additional $50 per night even though the type of room was the same. My fault for assuming that 2 beds automatically meant 2 guests, but just something to double-check when booking.
Welcome to Tokyo!
Room spotless. A bit small once luggage is inside however this is Tokyo, so this was expected. The hotel where the locals go. Do as the locals do and enjoy Tokyo with a view on the Imperial Gardens. Do ask for this kind of room. 1503 was a lucky number. The staff knows enough English to be of service. However when in Japan, do brush up on your Japanese.
good sleep
Good bed and good sleep at this hotel. Also easily accessible underground from the subway although there are some steps to climb up.
Not far from Tokyo station
Reasonable rates for a good location
Five Nights in Tokyo
We stayed at the KKR Hotel in April 2015 for five nights. It is well located, a short taxi ride from Tokyo Station and is across the street from the Imperial Palace and Gardens. There are several coffee shops nearby for a light breakfast. The staff is very friendly, helpful and can complete hotel business in English. Additionally, there is a subway station entrance next to the hotel front door.
Great hotel next to Imperial Palace
This was an awesome hotel with amazing staff. Extremely warm and welcoming. The lady at concierge who spoke great English could not be more helpful in giving us and our taxis the information needed to help us get to our destination. Highly recommend. Room was small which we knew and was in great condition.
Nice Hotel in Central Business District
Hotel room and service is great, clean and of good condition. Varied choices of hotel restaurant with value for money set meals. Though the metro subway leads to the hotel, there is no lift, only stairs. Not easy if you are with big luggage or all females. Need to do transfer if have to travel on JR line.
Excellent stay in the centre of Tokyo
This hotel was perfect for my stay - it is located right in the centre of Tokyo across the street from the imperial gardens and close to the Tokyo central railway station. Everything was top notch. I only wish that personnel spoke better English but it was not a big deal after all. The hotel has few restaurants inside and food and service were excellent. I would stay there again.
Reasonable hotel near Palace
Centrally located in Tokyo with an access to Metro station under the hotel
Met my needs and expectations
Location was excellent for me because I needed to be close to Palace Hotel which is a 10 minute brisk walk away. Hotel name is obscure to local Japanese and cab driver had not heard of it. Service was excellent. I stored my luggage as I was too early to check in and didn't get back till late night. I had a subsequent booking and had them move my luggage from the room to the new room. Came in late that evening and all luggage was in the new and larger room. Rate was higher for the larger room and I suggest if you opt for twin beds, get the larger room if your budget permits. You'll be glad you did as I tripped over everything in the smaller room. The larger room came with a humidifier which is a godsend for dry winter nights. Closet is much larger and suffucient to hang 2 person's coats etc. Beds were comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was not included in my room rate as I did not need it. On the last day I had breakfast and it was adequate with choice of Japanese and Western buffet items. Had to experience the panoramic view of the Imperial Palace which did not disappoint. Price was reasonable for the quaity; inexpensive by Tokyo standards. The restaurants had reasonably priced meals though I did not try them. Next time I will consider dining there as it would save me much time from walking around Tokyo Station deciding where to eat among the numerous restaurants that dish up bland and nondescript railway station food.
Fantastic view
This was the most expensive of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our Japan trip, but it was worth it for the fantastic views of the Emperor's Palace Gardens and Tokyo skyline - by day or night. There is an exit from the nearest metro stop Takebashi Station right next to the hotel. Great buffet breakfast (Western or Japanese) get there early for window seat. Good size room with large window to see amazing view.
ROOM WAS VERY VERY VERY SMALL
Spectacular Imperial gardens view & close to metro
Friendly staff (not everyone speak English, but good enough to help you). location is great, close to Imperial gardens and takebashi Metro station. very safe area. breakfast is ok, but breakfast at 12th floor viewing Tokyo compensates all. buffets are ok, althought food is mix japanese, mix western. not sure if you will like that. I did.
Imperial Palace
I very much enjoyed the hotel-the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL STAFF MAKING SPECIAL EFFORT TO MAKE YOUR STAY COMFORTABLE.

Good location, clean , the staffs are nice. The breakfast is great and the restaurant has a good view. There are some space in the room and bathroom ,feel comfortable.

Per quanto pagato camera e struttura soddisfacente
