Convenience and affordable for a group

The apartment is very spacious but need a little upgrade specially in the kitchen area, there is a problem with one of the room's air conditioners that was reported but never fixed. Not hot water.

All was good BUT NO Wi-fi🤐

Is what you get for a motel. You are fine for a few night if you are in transit. Very noisy at night.

The rooms near the main road are extremely noisy from loud traffic, if you need quiet try the other side of the hotel. We slept fine and the beds are comfortable but firm. The pool is very nice, but doesn’t have much shade, and the restaurant is good. The Wi-Fi needs a major upgrade, most of the time it was week or wouldn’t connect at all. Stop by The Gypsy Bowl nearby for good Wi-Fi with your breakfast.

The property was excellent

I absolutely loved the way I was treated by the staff. They made me feel valued. My apartment was to my liking. Sadly, though, I saw four dead cockroaches in the three days I was there.

Great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. I had a single bed room in tangerine palace and for the price it was great. Spacious with a HUGE bed and big bathroom and balcony. My only complaint about the room is it was on the ground floor, so there was often a sewage smell coming from the drains in the bathroom or bugs crawling up the drains. Housekeeping came and cleaned my room about 3 times during my 7 day stay which I didn’t expect but was a nice surprise to come to a cleaned room because if you know Cabarete, sand is everywhere. They were always willing to give more towels or linens too. I used the viva hotel next door for around 35$ USD per day, this is a great option if you’re not wanting the hustle and bustle of an all inclusive but still want to be able to have all you can eat and drink and some entertainment. The pool on the property was great, nice and quiet and they cleaned it daily. Overall for the price I would return to kite wind.

Nice. Okay. Nothing great. Was one of the last places available in high season. Perfectly acceptable. On beach with a shirt walk. Restaurant and pool for relaxing. Nice staff. Just plain and a tiny bit out of town. Across from a grocery store was nice. Inexpensive. I’d stay there again if the center hotels are full.

Awesome hotel very clean. We stayed in a three bedroom, overall I would recommend.

The staff was very nice and friendly. They accomodated what I needed. The owner is great and excellent communicating! This was my second time at this place. It's very quiet and convenient near the beach!!!

For the price the property was super excellent, because of the swimming pool, the beach, the restaurant and more. The apartment was very clean too.

Everything about the place was nice from the check into the hotel condition to the pool the food the pizza was fantastic the beds have really good mattresses made in Italy at a very very comfortable the best I've stayed in in the Dominican Republic. I've been coming to this island since 2013 and this is I must say one of the most comfortable places that I've stayed and it is not expensive compared to the rest it was only about $60 a night

When I called, the hotel said they didn’t have any rooms, despite my reservation!

It was a great stay for price... lovely pool and easy access to the cutest restaurant on the beach with the most delicious Italian cuisine. Great place to stay when visiting cabarete at a friendly budget.

The staff at the resort was wonderful from the Conselyea to the cleaning lady they all were professional very courteous and they attended to all of our knees they are excellent and they did an excellent job so I highly recommend and stay in there there

Lovely stay!

It was honestly so lovely, right by the beach! The space was clean and my bed was HUGE! They would clean pretty much every day which was helpful because of all the sand that can be dragged in. Mini fridge was helpful, big closet! No complainants

Clean, safe and convenient. There is a nice pool and bar, with easy access to the beach! The Staff was great! The walls and windows are a little thin, but overall a good place to stay.

Nobody was there when I tried to check in and nobody answered the phone when I called. There was no security guard. Why am I still being charged?

Everything you would ask for while in Cabarete!

This is my 4th time in KiteWind Cabarete. It has everything you would need to spend a great weekend in Cabarete. Near the kite beach and walking distance from the bar area...just perfect!

This an apartahotel, so can not perform like all inclusive hotel. This place is very good for a family and cheap too. The beach, restaurant, swimming pool are excellent.

Family friendly

Great family friendly hotel. Adjacent pool was nice. We enjoyed the beach and watching kite surfing. Good places to eat close by.

Big apartment

The photos do not represent this property. Unfortunately the rooms are on a parking lot, a distance from the multi used by other resorts swimming pool etc. I couldn't stay there. and I would like a refund of my deposit. Thanks

You hear the car noise from the room If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend this place This place is very clean

Hotel was about a 15 minute walk from the bars on the beach. Had A/C, had hot water, very safe hotel. Giampaolo was very accommodating and would definitely stay there again.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE PRICE

No water no snacks bare minimum and owner only stays property to collect money before 1 he wants leave and he stated 2 much money to supply free water everyday but water like 50 cents per bottle wow and restaurant adjunct to hotel food was not good an s gave me a half cup of coffee how mess up a burger my Girl Friend did not eat it and price fir food was not yo to par we suppose stay 3 days we left after 1 night

Our stay at Kitewind was awesome! Very attentive and offered great service. He found a practical solution to any personal inconvenience we had. In my opinion guest service to them is more important than money. Air conditioners, TVs, showers and kitchen in good condition and worked great. Recommend this place 100% :)

Very nice hotel, cheap and comfortable. Very close to several spots like: Puerto plata, Sosua, Rio San Juan, 12 saltos de Damajagua and more.

great location, close to the beach; the rooms by the alley are kind of noisy. the room I got had no sofa, so I had to stay in the room most of the time I was in the apartment. however, it is a great option for expending some time in middle of the fun, but away enough for youto also have some rest.

Useless reception and noisy but clean

Stayed there 5 nights, shower with low to no pressure and hot water would never get really hot... Reception and owner useless for informatio. Don't be fooled by the pictures, the pool is not next to the hotel, you have to walk 2-300 meters to get to the pool which is shared with the neighbors resort. Big bed but so uncomfortable! Quite far from the city centre but the walk on the beach is nice.

Very satisfied price versus offer , when arrived attendant received us with a very good mood, in fact seems he was waiting for us!

Decent hotel

Shower water was barely warm at best and wifi was very weak. Basic accommodations for the right price, modern, clean, and good AC. Right on the beach. Can walk to the bars restaurants and kite beach.

The hotel is close to the beach and town. Has a pool and a restaurant. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and complete. The kitchen has what you need: stove, refrigerator and cooking utensils. The attentions of the staff are very good.

Great hotel

our Stay at this place was awesome! The apartments were big and super clean, the staff was super friendly, it has direct access to the pool, beach, and a restaurant, also there's plenty of restaurants outside of the hotel .
