We had the penthouse. Lovely and roomy.

Property is not bad but needs some update and the aircon sounds like an airplaine. Friendly people though.

I didn’t like that the air conditioner spider like a jet engine

Beautiful unit for families!

It was such beautiful unit, us and the kids absolutely enjoyed, we felt like home. Very clean and had everything that I would may need with 3 kids!

Roomy, family friendly, great view. Kids loved the pool & spa area. Close to local shops with a few coffee spots within a 5 min or less walk. Great spot for a sunrise or sunset walk along the beach.

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Stove and oven didn't work properly.

Such a great place to stay. Thank you to the onsite managers.

The unit was large and had screens which is great for little kids. The spa was a hit. And just a very short walk to the beach. Awesome!

Clean , tidy good location

We liked the location and the roominess of the unit. However, it wasn’t wheelchair accessible, broken blinds, chipped crockery, whole unit needs updating and the cleaning was not up to an acceptable standard for penthouse accommodation .

We were given the 4 bedroom apartment and it was so roomy, stylish and comfortable. We have never stayed in an apartment so big. It had everything we needed. We only had to bring the food and everything was there to cook it. Spa was a good send and the balcony faced the ocean and the hinterlands.

Lovely place friendly atmosphere need to pay for clean towels, still i would highly recommend this place central to restaurant beaches and around the corner from Coolangatta.

Great vacation rental

The view from our 4th floor apartment was awe-mazing!! Overall, we loved this rental for our family. It was comfortable and spacious. The man that worked in the office was very friendly and helpful. A couple things that would have been helpful during our stay would have been a dryer that dried more efficiently, a coffee pot, and a few basic seasonings like salt and pepper.

Great location with everything needed within 150 metres. Building works opposite add unwanted noise and dust for a few more months to come.

Excellent facilities, easy access to the beach, great location, very affordable rates. Negatives, no decent sharp knives, or cleaning supplies. Plenty of cleaning equipment but could supply bathroom and kitchen cleaning products instead of having to supply your own as a greener solution.

Well maintained , convenient , clean and tidy

Overall very good stay, only complaint was the apartment did get quite cold ( we were unable to adjust the temperature) and the bedding wasn’t the best or comfortable . Some of the couch cushions in our room were quite stained as well

Fantastic place to stay, had everything we needed in such a beautiful location.

Was a lovely property, great location. Bit noisy with people on the street at night time, but otherwise great. Only thing which always gets my back up it having to get rubbish out of apartment and do all the washing up and unpack dishwasher. I always think that should be covered in the amount you pay.

This location was perfect beach directly across the road which had a park for the kids 7/11 around the corner A lovely walk into COOLANGATA took around 15 min with kids stopping along the way

Fabulous location

We loved our 3 week stay at Kirra Beach Apartments. The location is awesome. Just a couple of minutes to a safe patrolled beach. A fabulous strip mall next door has several eating establishments including one of the best bakeries on the coast, a chemist, a doctors office, laundromat, newsagent, 7 Eleven, beauty salon, coffee shops and more. Our apartment had a lovely view of the ocean. It was very clean and quiet. There is construction going on across the road but we were not affected by any of the noise. Management were very friendly. The pool was clean and refreshing. Underground parking was very secure. My only complaint was that there were no drawers or shelves to put our clothes. There is a closet in each bedroom but because there was nowhere to put our clothes I had to go and buy several dozen coat hangers to hang everything and then still have to keep things in our suitcase. We loved the A/C at night. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely come back again.

Checkin was easy and staff very friendly and helpful. We had booked a 2bdr oceanview room and were upgraded to a penthouse on the top floor (room 704) with access to 2 out of the 5 bedrooms (as per our booking). The penthouse was fantastic in terms of space and amenities and the view of the beach across the street was incredible. The lift was always super quick and we loved the secure assigned parking spots. Some negatives: The furnishings and decor are certainly ageing and need some maintenance as we noticed the cupboards and vanity units had water damage with their surfaces peeling away (salt and water damage will obviously do this) but overall the apartment was pleasing. Would have loved a tv in the master bedroom and thought this was odd that one of the smaller rooms (closed off) had a tv. Carpets had lots of stains and the lounges has stains and marks. We also found some old disposable slippers behind the curtains in the master bedroom when we drew back the curtains and rubbish and old coat hangers on the floor in the other bedroom closet, so clearly the cleaners are not doing a good job at all which was disappointing. Cleaners should also be responsible for putting clean dishes away from dishwasher so that it’s done with clean hands or disposable gloves to ensure hygiene, not leaving it up to holidayers to hand wash or use dishwasher and then put away as this doesn’t ensure correct hygiene or cleaning practices. Overall, a great place and we will definitely stay again!

Liked everything about the property. Parking, pool, security was fantastic. Staff friendly aswell. Only down side was the cleaning of the apartment. Could of been alittle better

The apartment footprint goes from one side of the building to the other so you can get a cross breeze rather than use A/C. Kitchen was very modern. Staff were very nice.

Our stay was enjoyable. The apartment a bit dated and in need of TLC but otherwise clean and comfortable. The pool and spa opens at 8 am and closes at 9 pm so it would have been nice if the hours were extended particularly during summer time. Construction crew next door start at 6:30 am so bring your earplugs. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay. Walking distance to beach. Ocean views and spacious apartment. Pool and spa was a bonus too.

Kirra Beach was close to the airport, beaches were beautiful. Great eateries close by and only around the corner from more shops! The apartment was very comfortable and suited us as a family. Nice pool and underground parking. Would highly recommend to other families!

We loved the close proximity to beach. It would have been nice for a little more dishwashing liquid. We would have like to sets of keys with fob to allow for us help us get to pool and back without both parents.

Magnificent whale watching from the room. Walkable to a wide variety of cafes and restaurants. Amenities of the room itself were disappointing. No coffee maker provided though advertised as included. Floor tiles loose. Overall was not clean on check in. Rice and what I hope was ketchup stuck on table. Floor very dirty. No spare toilet rolls.

Good location

Great location. Unit is tired needs a good scrub curtains had mould on them. Foxtell didn’t work.

A spacious apartment for a family of five, with everything you need for self-catering laundry while on a beach holiday. Kept in perfect condition. Located just over the road from the beach, with easy access to nearby cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. So you can avoid the traffic further north in areas like Surfers Paradise if you want to. Appreciated the apartment upgrade during school holidays.

The property smelt damp upon entry. It is quite a dark ordinary apartment for the price

Close to the beach, the airport and dining options. Could have done with a basic gym onsite for those wet and windy days when you can not get out.

Great location in a very family friendly area. The only disappointing part of our stay was the cleanliness of our apartment. As soon as we walked into the rooms there was an overwhelming bad smell that even my husband noticed. There were crumbs, hair and sand all over the lounge and the bathrooms smelled horribly.

The public areas were very clean and well maintained. Pool and spa were never crowded. Wifi and air con were great. Really close to beach and the unit was very confortable. We would stay again.

Incredibly friendly staff

Great family friendly and central location. We endured a lockdown during our stay and it was perfect. Great price and only a short drive to theme parks and Surfers Paradise. Highly recommend!

A great stay.

Excellent location and locale for the beach, the best cafes and restaurants and a very frequent bus service just around the corner to airport and surfers Paradise (and everything in between. The apartment was large and the grounds were immaculate. the heating/airconditioning was very efficient for comfort in all kinds of weather.

We had a lovely stay at Kirra Beach Apartments. The position is great and close to the beach and cafes and restaurants.

Enjoyable stay

Everything about this property was good, quiet location recommended for family's or older couples.Cafe's, restaurant's, bakery etc right next door, beach just across the road.

Front reception was mostly closed. Very difficult to communicate to the management. You pay top dollar to stay here, yet your required to take your trash with you when you depart. Aren't cleaners paid to do this?? The coffee facilities were very poor..

The location of the property is the best. It’s close to the airport as well as public transport. It is a great home base for exploring the surrounding areas of the Gold Coast. Dawn one of the managers is so welcoming and enthusiastic. Nothing is too much trouble. The pool and spa area is clean and well maintained.

The property is great but the ocean view is not that great.

The place was great, so close to everything and great facilities. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, the kids loved being able to borrow boogie boards from the hotel as we left ours at home. My recommendation is that you call ahead if there’s a specific room or view you want, the staff are happy to help!

Great location view and apartment features. Easy parking and so close to the beach. Easy 10 minute walk to Coolangatta. Good sized deck , bathroom was a little tired.

this was the 1st time we stayed here and every thing was fantastic the appt was roomy clean and central to everything the manager was very helpful on arrival and made us feel really welcomed i would recommend this place the free wifi was incredible

Comfortable accommodation, well located. The managers were helpful and welcoming.

The property is spacious and well laid out. It has all the amenities you could want, the staff are helpful and friendly. As a proffessional cleaner there were things I noticed that could be improved upon in that area but overall it was clean and well maintained. We thought it represented good value and were pleased to find an apartment of this caliba that was available for a one night stay.

Dawn and Peter are super hosts and Kirra is the best beach on the Good Coast

Communication was very good before arriving at the property. Access to the accomodation was easy even when the office had closed. Spacious and modern.

We loved our stay here, we had the penthouse with ocean view and what a great big apartment it was! Perfect with kids! The building isn’t new but it’s kept in great condition! It’s in a great location and we will definitely be back!

Great location close to shops, nice and quiet, friendly staff

Location was the only good point. This unit is dark and dingy and so close to the pool you can smell that chlorine. Our unit had absolutely no view, but great views of 7-11 car park. Don't be fooled pics on Expedia. Building manager very unhelpful with our upfront requests to pay for for a later check-out time. They kicked us out at 10am....Why pay $200 for a room for 20hrs?..Does it really take 4 hours to clean a 1 bedroom apartment? not from what I've seen. Give this place a big miss and stay at Meridien towers one block away. Building manager's there are much more accommodating.

The apartment was in a great position close to restaurants and bars, 7/11 next door for snacks. Great views from the balcony . Was pleasantly surprised as paid a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and gave us a later checkout at no extra cost. Highly recommend.
