The facilities were well presented but in future I would let the booking agent know that my husband and myself are in our seventies and would prefer our accommodation on a lower floor.

We had a lovely time. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well set up. The restaurant and bar were also great - right on the sea front. Some exterior gardens need some work but overall the place was well suited to our needs.

I'll always come back to King Reef, it's in a beautiful location & the accommodation is truly great value for money. Rooms are clean, spacious & comfortable. However, without a doubt it's the friendly & helpful staff that make this place special. The pub is excellent & serves really good fresh food in a prime location on the beach. Highly recommended!

property is a hidden gem, standard suite room was clean and spacious enough for a couple or two adult guests, queen bed was very comfortable with abundance of pillows , WiFi was fast and easily accessible despite the secluded location, amenities were adequate for a two-night stay, parking was close to the room and undercover, property grounds were well kept and maintained particularly the pool and lawns

A nice place to stay with easy walks on the sea shore, staff very friendly and amenities quite good. Great for a 3 Day stay.

On my recent outback trip of 2 weeks King Reef resort (beach front) was the most pleasant stay. I wish I had had more than 2 days. The staff are super friendly, the restaurant is outstanding. The place is somewhat ageing but for a simple , quiet, wonderfully relaxing couldn't be better. For a bit of more action, Mission Beach is only 29 minutes away (The Blues Bar there is fun). But I will definitely stay at King Reef again. I had a motel room.

Lovely beach front views and access

Great place to spend a few days. Rooms may be old but really spacious and clean and the bed and pillow excellent. Grounds immaculate and pool good size.

Beautiful views. Nice and quiet. Close to the pub but a bit removed from other facilities. The cabin catered for 5 people. Only minor issue was lots of ants inside the cabin

Great location and enjoy staying, however rooms and cabins needs a major makeover.

The unit was spacious , clean and had everything needed. Pool was big and well maintained. Lovely bar and resturaunt onsite aswell. Minutes from beach and jetty. Great family friendly accomodation.

Position on beach front was awesome and the pool was huge. The only disappointing aspect was the unavailability of beautiful nutritious food. I guess this was because my stay was on a Sunday night.

the aircond was making a noise all night from the outside of the building. did not get much sleep. when the aircond. was ramping up and down, there was a vibration coming through the wall from outdoor unit, but apart from that everything else was great.

Very basic, close to water but no water views, it’s very old and dated

Receptionist told me she would call me when room is ready for an early check in. She did not and I waited until after 3 and asked again. There was a half eaten chocolate bar next to the bed. There is a tiny cake of soap for use for 3 days and towels and sheets are not changed for a 3 night stay. Wifi does not work, even outside. Good enough stay, but not what is promised.

Basic accomodation. We stayed in a room overlooking the pool. Grout on bathroom floor desperately needed a steam mop (was black in high traffic areas), same could be said for the shower. Otherwise well kept basic room. Room 15 needed a good air out as evident damp smell. Staff at reception ok, not rude but not upbeat and friendly. I’d come back and camp, or try a beach side cabin, but would not stay in a poolside room again. Just didn’t wow me. Location however is beautiful and is definitely a draw card.

Absolute waterfront cabins In a caravan park in a beautiful, sleepy little town (Kurrimine Beach). You can’t help but relax and enjoy. It’s a great base for exploring the area. Bar open 7 days a week, restaurant some days but also a great little shop just across the road. Also has a pool that was popular with kids.

Great spot

Perfect beachfront location, quiet Spot, carpark next to cabin. Water is warm, at low tide there is a lot of exposed coral/ rocks to explore. Would love to revisit this spot at a future time.

We absolutely loved, the room and the first impressions was fabulous, but there was no internet. And the room menu had a lot of choices, inc enters and deserts, but when we got to the restuarant, there was only about 6 choices on the menu( no entries no sweets) and the locals took over the bar and restaurant area, and we were put on the verandah, to eat. When we arrived at the restaurant we were offered cocktails, but when we went to order one, we were told no! they were too busy to bother with cocktails. That made our stay, most disappointing.

This is a regular weekend trip for a group of us and we always have a fantastic time

Motel style room. Queen bed. Great pool. No issues with being near hotel.

Right on the beautiful beach, peaceful and handy to hotel and cafe.

Well set out suite, comfortable furniture and beds, clean, good kitchen and bathroom and great location at the beach. Great restaurant and bottle shop at the resort and great cafe, mini supermarket and takeaway across the road. We stayed on the 1st floor with lovely views of the gardens and pool. There was no lift but this would only be a problem for anyone with heavy suitcases. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here. Thank you.

Nothing like the photos on the website when I booksd. Did not clean the room. BBQ area could not be used. No meals served Saturday nite.
