Nice views, clean rooms, and good staff, but the breakfast has no variety and the area is not very spacious.

Ok, but could be improved

Hotel was good, but the food at breakfast and dinner whilst plentiful wasn't hot enough for our tastes. A microwave would have been useful to allow warming dishes up. The wake up call at between 6-7am every morning from music near the pool was not welcome from my 6th floor room - completely unnecessary...

This hotel was very welcoming and the staff couldn’t do enough to help you and ensure you’re happy and have what you need. We felt very comfortable here. I was not a fan of the buffet dinner, however, they have another restaurant called Kamoon which serves the best Arabic food, all cooked from scratch. We went there every night! Our room cleaner Hasibul was great at ensuring we always had what we needed for our room. Would highly recommend.

Great Hotel, but Limited

Our stay was quite pleasant. The check-in turned into a bit of a process as I booked and paid through Hotels.com and they couldn't tell if I had paid already or not. Once they figured it out all was well, but that took much longer than I would have liked. The pool a beach are well maintained. Their on-site restaurant, Kamoon, has wonderful food. However, don't expect great service while dining there.

The staff are so polite and willl go out there way to help you with everything to make your stay amazing. Special mention to ashrad from the team at the pool, Ahmed and the breakfast team and leakat in housekeeping. There daily helpfulness, warm greeting and smile made the stay.

Absolutely loved everythig about this hotel.

Property is really good, rooms are good and breakfast buffet has large variety of options. Staff was great and attentive. Will recommend for a first time visitor to Abu Dhabi with Uber you can get almost everywhere and walk to Emirates Palace Mandarin and Qasr Al Watan. Note this is a “dry” hotel so no alcoohol is served or available

Hotel is so convenient to any atraccions in the city , very close to the Bur Khalifa , it has the best view of the city Services is in-maculate , staff so kindly and friendly, I would love to stay again in the future . Breakfast buffet has many varieties of food. The Horison clud staff and food is the best .

Family hotel

Nice hotel but certainly not for business purpose. Family hotel with a lot of children. Location is good, room is big enough with a balcony. Take into consideration a lot of noise from the jet skis and music from the pool if you are staying in first floors. Breakfast was good offering a lot of choice but crowded.

Mixed feelings

I've stayed at this hotel five times since 2016. The property is well-managed, impeccably clean, and consistently maintained. The staff are courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with any issues. However, my recent experience was less than ideal due to overcrowding at the pool, primarily from a large number of guests which made it nearly impossible to swim. There was noticeable arrogance from some parents, and their children caused quite a disturbance, making a peaceful swim impossible. Additionally, the behavior and attire of some guests did not align with my personal preferences, diminishing my overall enjoyment. I also observed that the pool entertainer showed a preference for certain guests, which affected the inclusive atmosphere. Regrettably, this experience has made me reconsider whether I would return to what was once my favorite place in Abu Dhabi.

The staff at this hotel always go up and above to provide you with an excellent stay. They are always friendly, polite and helpful from the quick and efficient check in from Bella to the extremely helpful and always smiling ashrad by the pool.

Great pool

My kids loved the pool area, which was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful. We had an excellent view from our balcony. Check-in took longer than we'd have preferred, but we showed up a little early. Also, they gave us a free room upgrade.

I was already second time in this hotel - nice place for family vacation. Big pool, own beach. Alcohol-free hotel perfectly suitable for families with kids. Friendly staff.

Another memorable stay at the khalidyia. Great service throughout. Special thanks to all the breakfast staff and Arshad around the pool who is always smiling and working really hard, nothing is ever a problem to him. We look forward to returning.

Lovely resort

Staff are absolutely great. The gym was better than any other hotel gym. I was nervous about not having a sea view but the otherwise is the palace it was even better!

Absolutely first rate on every level. Rooms are far above average, staff is attentive and friendly and the breakfast buffet is to die for. All-round excellence.

Disappointed

I wish it was better. We checked in and front desk asked what brought us to their hotel, we told them we were running the Marathon in the morning. They gave us an upgrade we did not ask for but appreciated. we later realized was right above a restaurant with live very loud music, the hotel did not help with ear plugs or offer us to move rooms and we were stuck listening to it until 11pm when the website says 930 it ends. our race started at 6am the next day. we received and apology the next morning and 20% discount on a future stay.

This property is truly exceptional, featuring a welcoming staff and outstanding cuisine. The team is consistently cheerful and eager to assist, making an effort to fulfill various requests. The private beach and pool facilities enhance the overall experience.

F1 weekend 2023

Great service delay at the check in because it was registered on a company and the name of the reservation didn’t match the name of the guest. However the manager sorted it out within 30 minutes claiming it’s due to security reasons of governmental quarters nearby. The location is great down distance from the centre but the beach and entire place is more quiet thanks to this. The food was very good, entire place very clean and service especially the room cleaning was excellent. A very enjoyable stay for me and my family.

Lovely hotel with good facilities. Great pool area and private beach. Lots of activities for those that want to take part. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Food choices were reasonable with a large and varied selection available at the breakfast buffet. Free self parking and valet options available.

Our 2-days holiday were great in the Khalidiya Palace. Location is perfect for walking, visiting signs and relaxing at the beach. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious, beach and pool are amazing. Very friendly staff. Would be happy to stay there again someday.

Amazing Place to Stay

The hotel is located right on the water and across from the presidential palace. This offers amazing views on the higher levels of the hotel. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. From recommending local things to try/visit to food within the hotel restaurants. The hotel doesnt serve alcohol, but if you need to purchase some there are stores nearby within a 5 min taxi ride. I would recommend anyone to stay here as the prices were very reasonable. I also recommend the breakfast buffet. The entire spread was visually appealing with a wide array of choices. I will be staying here again for sure. 5 stars!!

Great place to relax

Great escape from the daily life. Beautiful hotel, nice structure, very cool pool area. Beach is small but cozy. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. You feel welcome there. The only turn down would be the food/drink service at the pool. Not a lot of options, staff not really interested in getting your order. And last but not least, there’s not alcoholic drinks. The hotel is in a very nice location, close to the Corniche. And there’s a Careem bike station right in front of the hotel (very useful).

I left a clothing item in my room. I realized about 5 hours after checking out and called the property. They eventually got back to me and said the cleaners were not able to find the item. So that says a lot. For sure I left the item there. The checkin and overall customer service was below standards for a 5 star hotel. For sure will not be returning there. Not worth it.

Fantastic Hotel!

Fantastic Hotel, with amazing staff and facilities. We stayed there for 8 days and had a great stay. Nothing was too much for the staff. They were always friendly and attentive. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend this to everyone staying in Abu Dhabi. The view from our balcony of the Emirates Palace and Palace Hotel were amazing!!

All of the facilities and the staff were fantastic and really helpful. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Just one thing to note - as a booking with room-only the cost of buying drinks from the coffee bar/pool bar was very expensive and limited the amount of time we stayed in the hotel.

It’s the customer service that really makes this hotel stand out. Every single member of staff deserves a pat on the back. Nice sized room and bathroom. Used room service for food twice, again excellent. Lovely grounds, kept immaculate with plenty of sun loungers at any time of the day. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The customer service due to the staff being so attentive and helpful was excellent. Everyone was always smiling and quick to offer to help. The standard of the bedroom and bathroom was excellent too and we also had a balcony. The pool area was also kept very clean. I was there for my birthday and the hotel surprised me with a birthday cake. I didn’t like that there was no entertainment or even board games etc.

All the extras that are basic to the hotel at a great cost. Exceptional gym, pools, exclusive beach, great restaurants and we had a great view of the Presidential Palace and Emirate Palace. Staff were friendly, helpful, without being pushy.

Very nice and fairly modern accommodation. Great views from balcony. Spacious "apartment" and comfortable. Nice pool and amenities. Had been a smoking room and still very much smelt of it! Then again smoking is prevalent throughout the complex. Having smoke waft over you while swimming or eating by the pool was quite bad. We had a room with a kitchenette which had absolutely no crockery, cutlery or any cooking items what so ever!! Quite pointless, especially given that food is so expensive! Lack of information about what services/ restaurants/ food were available. Lacking in overall service. A reasonably pleasant stay and nice location, let down by a few things....

Beautiful Hotel, staff only average

I've now stayed at more than a dozen different hotels in Abu Dhabi City over the years and can honestly say the hotel itself is one of the nicer ones you will find. It's dry so there is no alcohol though. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool and fitness center are really nice too. The only issues you will find, similar to the whole country, is a bunch of hotel staff that don't really care and just do the minimum. Also, if you need a non-smoking room don't fall for the 'refreshed room' upon check in. Ask for another room. The last thing I'll mention is that the location is at the very end of the corniche so it's quiet and removed from any action you can walk to. Taxis are also getting more and more expensive (like EVERYTHING in Abu Dhabi) so you'll spend $7 to $15 to go just about anywhere in the city. I paid about $75 a night which is a good value, anything over $100 and you might look elsewhere.

Amazing Arabian Gulf

Our stay was amazing. The pool was huge and very picturesque with bridges separating the water depths making it suitable for children and adults. The views over the Gulf were breathtaking, staff checked with us daily to make sure everything was ok. One of the highlights was the boat ride around the Gulf in the hotel’s tour boat, we pulled into a private sandy island for a swim, we were the only ones there. Water was acqua and crystal clear. We can’t wait to go back and stay there again.
