Don't even think to stay

I would never stay or even come back to this hotel, as i provided a driver licenses form Qatar , which have my photo and id number and all my info. And i was surprised that they don't accept it and ask for government issued Id , which have no difference than my driver licenses, and I haven’t got the room neither my money

It is our fourth time to stay in Kempinski hotel Westbay Dohah, room space wise is perfect, house keeping staff are professional, all staffing are friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for staying in.

- The only problem with this hotel is that on the website, you can not include the breakfast and it has to be paid separate. - The ability to add breakfast on the website is necessary

Nice Residence Suite Apartment

This was a great place to stay with friends as we celebrated a birthday. The full service apartment was way better than expected. 4 bedroom 4 bathrooms but only one with a soaking tub. I would surely be back again. Also there is a beach nearby but it is not for relaxing. We believe that there is construction going on there.

Perfect for families

We stayed in a suite for 6 days. We booked a 2-bedroom suite but we got a 4-bedroom suite. The suite was clean, tidy and fully furnished, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable and there is a TV in each bedroom. The room service is excellent, and the hotel offers an indoor playing area for the kids from age of 3, where kids can play for free without the supervision of their parents (from 9 am till 8 pm).

Poorly decorated rooms. Facilities not maintained well

Overall the suite was perfect except the toilet was stretched and the shower was in poor condition, i liked the kitchen that was prepared with all cooking stuff, the A/C was crazy that works automatically even when i closed it and the controlling on the difficult

Stayaction during cycling race

My family and I had to relocate to the West Bay Kempenski location to avoid road closures during the cycling race. While it was a tough situation due to the transition for our toddler & newborn; the staff at the kempenski went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. They consistently checked to see if we needed anything. The concierge even had the chef send a fabulous congratulations cake for us to celebrate having a new baby. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

it was good stay, we did not enjoy the indoor swimming pool, it was cold. good valet car services, huge room, good hotel staff

great location right at the downtown

my first time to Doha. All hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. We have 15 people stay in 4 two bedrooms suites. Each two bedroom suite is super spacious and tastefully decorated. Serve fantastic breakfast too.

2 bedroom apartment

it was nice stay with my family, I was requesting 2 bedroom apartment at 34th floor facing to the sea. location was perfect nearby to city center and Cornish street. I recommend this hotel.

Enjoyable stay for a long weekend.

Overall stay was excellent. Suite was very comfortable and hotel very welcoming. Only slight issue is all the building work going on around the hotel but very little the hotel can do about that. I would definitely book this hotel again and hope to in the near future.

A hotel is not the property it's the service

Late room servicing. In room dining from the night before picked up at 7 pm the next day!!! Had to call for the rom to be serviced at 4 pm. No coffee amenities anywhere to be found although on offer. The checkout was the ultimate a 20 minute discussion with the receptionist urging him to read the bill he gave me which was for a different room and different client. Then he charged my card again after having blocked it. A second receptionist to the rescue. Promises of faxing the adjustment. Nothing yet 3 days later. Won't be going there again

Fantastic hotel to spend your vacation on it. Near or every thing, 2 min walk to city center.

Great residents luxurious apartment

It's great place and very nice hotel staff. Quite place good for weekend. Escaping from everyday stress. I felt like I'm in a different country than Qatar. I was upgraded from 2 bedroom to 4 bedrooms, because I'm QP employee;)

Excellent location

We got a free upgrade to a 4 bedroom from a 2 bedroom apartment. Kitchen facilities are excellent.

In the middle of the business center district.

Very good food. Their chefs are good and the product they use are of good quality. Nice ambiance.

Overall not a good experience

The hotel was over priced comparing the services and the delays of house keeping. The only nice thing about it is the 180 degree view. In the high floors.

Best Spacious Hotel in Qatar

Nice one. I have stayed in almost all the Big Chain all over the World. This was the first time to stay in Kempinski Chain and it is perfect. Will stay again whenever i go to Qatar.

Bad service and dishonost staff

My stay at this hotel was bad because of the bad quality of the room service. It was the first ftime for me to have a very low standards services at 5 star hotel like this. They never clean the suite till I call them about 5 pm. They did not bring the newspaper as usaul every morning. Staff at the reception most of the time were dishonot when we ask for any service.

Great stay but only for a day. Close to the biggest shopping center in Doha. Rooms were clean and hotel service great !

Convenient to shopping

We enjoyed our stay overall. Found interesting quirks about the hotel. Beds very low to ground, showers with only a rain shower head and no spray shower, not consistent daily service. Food was absolutely fabulous, we enjoyed every morsel.

Greate appartment for 4

The hotel is lower than what I use to experience in Dubai! For some reason, it doesn't feel like the same hotel!!! However, everything else was just fine. (Breakfast) is the worst experience. I recommend taking a taxi to Shareton Hotel and having their same price vut better value breakfast.

Super nice hotel stay in Doha

This is a very well run hotel. One of the best Kempinski's I've stayed in so far (3rd one in the ME region). Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Sevice was very good. Font desk staff are very professional and nice. Food in the Aroma Resturant was superb, but very pricey. Over all excellent experience. Walking distance to the Mall.

The hotel (more of a residence) was in a good location and the staff at the reception were excellent. However, I found the concierge was rather blunt and not helpful when we were enquiring about a local transport to visit a nearby museum. It may be due to lack of her English fluency or the manner of speaking. Our room was not cleaned on our second day inspite of a signage left on the door knob. However, most staff members were very curteous and friendly. The hotel amenities were excellent.

Pleasant Doha stopover

We only had a short 24 hr stay at the Kempinski Doha which i booked out of a range of 5 star hotels because of free wifi mainly. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. We got an upgrade to a 4 bedroom apartment which was a lovely surprise - slightly wasted on my mother and I but appreciated nonetheless. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The furnishings were rather standard, not the highest end but perfectly acceptable. Bed was comfortable. Good selection of buffet breakfast with reasonably good wait staff. Overall an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel.

What a place !!! Upgraded to a huge room, service perfect !!! 5 mn walking from City center for shopping... Eventhough there is a lot of building around, it will be the top in one year... The pool is amazing and hanging around at the bar downstairs was nice. Five stars for the breakfast top view at 61st floor !!! Cheers.

Great location and excellent quality

Only stayed for a couple of nights but the location is great, the suite I was placed in was exceptional, clean and well fitted out. Staff were very helpful so overall a good choice at a reasonable rate considering Doha is expensive anyway.

Superb place for a long term stay in Doha

Just finished two weeks at the Kempinski and was impressed with every facet of their operation. The room, an apartment really, was fabulous, super clean and modern, and perfect for my needs. When you are staying in a strange place for so long, you need a home, not just a hotel room. The kitchen was larger than many I've seen in the States and far more modern, with all the appliances and tools you could possibly want. The combo washer-dryer for clothes was an absolute life saver for such a long visit. The Carrefour hyper-mart (and the huge City Center Mall) is a modest stroll away for supplies. The bar downstairs is OK, with a decent happy hour (beers are USD5.50 until 7pm) and a nice vibe. The indoor pool and workout rooms are top notch if you need to work up a sweat. The best part was the staff. This is "Four Seasons" quality, 5 stars if it was located in the States. Nothing was too difficult for these folks. Super friendly, super service. Housekeeping was perfect (I left QR10 each day which was appreciated). Other hotels in the area might be fine for a couple of nights but if you are going to "live" in Doha for a while, the Kempinski is your destination.
