Amazing hotel and service but the rooms have curtain on the outside of glasses. Privacy of the person taking shower

Really disappointing stay. Were were guaranteed early check in and late check out by Hotels.com however the hotel refused to offer that even though they were empty and denied that it was a benefit. Additionally, they said they had ‘no idea’ what the resort credit was. The hotel was really overpriced for what it was and the staff were really unhelpful.

Very nice hotel

The check in process was a little overwhelming. We want to carry just one small bag and come back out a bit later for our luggage. We wanted to rest for a while and we wanted to rearrange our two cases so we only needed to bring one up. A guy appeared at my window before I’d switched the engine off and asked if he could help. I said no but he was already opening the back of the car and dragging out both cases. The receptionists were very friendly but the process was far too long winded, then they insisted we take a tour of the bloody hotel. However once we made it too our room we have a lovely stay.

Bed not as comfortable. I asked to bring a fan since room was so hot so I could sleep and they brought e a heater that heated the room prior to me returning to hotel. Outside jacuzzi area was like a warm bathtub an not a hot jacuzzi

A luxury hotel for a perfect vacation

An amazing hotel, with a high level of service, an amazing location, clean rooms, a luxurious and very special spa, and a varied and delicious breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed it.

The hotel is really nice but over priced compared to what you can get elsewhere like central Kitzbühel. The food excellent but the bar/restaurant etc does not have a fun atmosphere, it is all quite formal. The service is very good but things like not refilling the mini bar/tea and coffee station in room not great for being five star. The ski out - is a drag lift then a red run to get to a gondola so not child or beginner friendly at all and there is no shuttle bus service like all of the other five star hotels from the main lifts. A taxi to the closest lift is 30euros one way. There is a ski rental in the hotel but the quality of the equipment is poor compared to inter sport in the main town where you get modern and good condition equipment. The pool has quite a few tiles missing from it especially the outdoor hot tub which again you don’t expect for five star and paying a top whack price. It’s a good hotel, but sadly not worth the money.

Great location for us for day trips and going into Kitz. Nice Spa area and pools. Decor is a nice mix of traditional and modern. The service was good.

Second time staying at the Kempinski in Jochberg, a short drive from Kitzbuhel. Very friendly staff, great rooms and an amazing service. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay around the area.

Great run hotel with very friendly staff and excellent rooms

We had an amazing time at Kempinski’s during our one week stay in Austria. The service and hospitality at this hotel are second to none! Every single employee was kind and courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the very best it could be. The food was fantastic, and the hotel is located within walking distance of numerous phenomenal, authentic Tirolean restaurants. The spa was clean, quiet and relaxing - the saunas a much appreciate reprieve after a hard day skiing the mountain. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and will most certainly return to Kempinski’s in the future!

I loved the fact that this property is ski in and ski out. Also, this property has the ski academy and ski rental in the lobby, which is extremely convenient. Finally, the spa is excellent once the become comfortable with the cultural norm.

Great room with magnificent view and air-condition. Excellent pools and spa. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very cooperative. Great hotel in any aspect, highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel and location, with amazing Spa

Stayed here for 3 nights for skiing and Spa and loved it. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast. Dinners in the main restaurant were excellent but could do with more options.

We stayed there for 6 night what we liked was the room and the conviniance of the ski lift! Didn’t like the breakfast buffet and the restaurant food at all!! Spa area should be adults only but unfortunately to many kids!!!

Nice, clean super hotel

They are incorrect with deposit. At the beginning the receptionist stated the wouldn't charge anything, because hotel (staying) already paid.We arrived at 22:00 and the hotel immediately charged 300 EUR to the arriving day!!!! What for?!?!?! I paid in advance the hotel but they charged 300 EUR per day to mewithout any reason... No I'm running after my money... I'm already complained, but they didn't react...

Rooms sare spacious and comfortable, big swimming pool. Nice view on mountains. But the service charge for room service is 10 euro even if you order just tea..

If there is enough snow - perfect location to ski

We expected Kempinski standards are were probably disappointed by this. In general the hotel is a good hotel, not at the high end of five star hotels but pleasant for a week of skiing. We had quite some service issues, e.g. the concierge messing up dinner reservations in the hotel which made us wait 1hour for a table (the bar manager actually managed to soften our mood by inviting us to some drinks while we waited and he even tried to get a table somewhere else in the hotel - that was a very nice move). The housekeeping is useless, I had asked for a orthopedic pillow which was a major headache to obtain. The rooms weren't made after the first day of skiing and only after complaining with management that our rooms need to be made in the mornings, it happened. Food in the restaurants are above average, but nothing thrilling. The 'asian' restaurant is highly overrated. I was not impressed with their selection. New Years Eve's dinner was nice, but didn't include a children's dinner option other than bringing them to the kids room for basic buffet. After dinner was a big gap without activities/entertainment until midnight. The serving of the champagne was not professional as we had to carry our own bottle and glasses outdoor to enjoy the fireworks (which were great) and back in. There weren't enough cocktail tables set up to stand and enjoy the champagne. The adjacent bar is a SMOKING place and the band was actually only playing inside there after midnight..no more room to write

Ski in ski out

Great spa. Ski in ski out great with nice beginner slope next to hotel. Need to take a taxi to get to town(10 minute drive-25 euros one way). Can request hotel transport however as well-Porsche Cayenne Turbo or Porsche Panamera. Junior Deluxe Suite very nice. Great finishes room and hotel, very clean. Concierge very helpful. English tv channels limited but DVD's complimentary. Can personalize stay with lots of extras for your room(linen, pillows, room humidifier etc). Enormous buffet breakfast a must!

Luxury on the Slopes

This hotel is in an excellent location just outside Kitzbuhel but part of the Kitzbuhel ski area via it's very own rope tow next to the hotel that funnels into a chairlift. There is a ski shop in the lobby and the restaurants are excellent. The facilities are luxurious now that the hotel has been taken over by the Kempinski chain and we were left very impressed. Internet was complimentary and parking was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

In back of beyond but beautiful scenery/mountains

Very nice hotel, good rooms, but over 2 hours' drive from most convenient airport, Munich. Lovely people there. though on our return we encountered horrible fierce man at passport control at Munich Airport - enough to put one off ever setting foot in Germany or Austria. There's no border any more, so hard to know which country you are in. Amazing scenery and SO many trees - wonderful to find such a good hotel in that area - bet it's great financially in the Winter - we went in June, not exactly Summer, but hot for a day or two this year. Doesn't reduce hotel's attractions - spa was wonderful and provided a treatment I wanted at short notice - but summer is not high season in the Tyrolean Alps....... Still, nice visit to nearby Kitzbuhel and another arduous cloud/rain laden trip to 2000m. up Kitzbuheler Horn (mountain) where it was 3 degrees Celsius, and a chilly and steep walk down from 2000 to 1600m, where we then took 2 cable-cars to reach the 'bottom', ie Kitzbuhel, which is at about 800m. Nice to get back finally to the nice hotel.

Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir haben uns im Kempinski in Kitzbühel sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind in einem sehr guten Zustand und wurden zweimal am Tag gereinigt. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen war dem Hotel-Standard entsprechend sehr gut. Der Wellness-Bereich war ebenfalls sehr einladend und wir haben sowohl den grossen Aussenpool als auch die Saunen ausgiebig genossen. Ein Kritikpunk: die Kosten für die TG von EUR 25 empfanden wir für diese Lage dann doch etwas übertrieben. Daher haben wir - wie so viele - den öffentlichen Parkplatz nebenan benutzt. Dennoch: wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen.

We had to change the room due to very bad smell from the shower, no apologies received at all. We waited half hour to have a reply on the inconvenience and had to insist to change room. Restaurant with half board not suggested at all. It was served fish and Asian food, whereas in internet and in the hotel advertising it is described as Tyrolese food, I even called beforehand to understand which food was served and told me typical food. A bottle of water was charged almost 8 euros.

Madforgiftning & slidt hotel, dog flinkt personale

Roomservice gav vores 4 årige søn madforgiftning, så han kastede op tre gange og vi sov først kl 3 om natten. Medarbejderne havde en masse forklaringer, men der manglede anerkendelse fra mellemlederne af dette. Vi havde forventet at den ene nat ud af tre nætter var gratis og ligeledes at vi ikke skulle betale for middagen der gav madforgiftning. Hotellets mellemledere synes at det var fint blot at fjerne en enkelt middagsret fra regningen efter denne oplevelse. Skuffende. Derudover var der flere ting der ikke virkede i spa-området og hotellet trængte generelt til at blive renoveret. Vi kan dog godt lide Kempinski hotellerne, og er taget videre til Kempinski i Portoroz. Havde lederne håndteret uheldet anderledes, havde oplevelsen og anmeldelsen været bedre, som de også fik besked på.

Erwartungen übertroffen

Alles war unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Der SPA Bereich mit grossem Aussenschwimmbad ist nur schwer zu toppen.

Overnachten op hoogste kwaliteitsnivo

Prachtig resort-hotel in de bergen. Zeer goed zwembad en heerlijke sauna. Comfortabele juniorsuite met balkon met een prima koffiemachine. Ontvangst was zeer persoonlijk, inclusief rondleiding en begeleiding naar de kamer. Helaas was alleen het Aziatisch restaurant open en niet het Tiroler restaurant

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr schönem Pool. Saunabereich ist zu klein und nicht wirklich schön.

Er war alles perfekt, aber beim Abendessen hatten wir als Österreicher einen Kellner der nur englisch sprach. So etwas sollte es in Österreich nicht geben.

Trotz Aufzahlung auf Upgrade nicht zufriedenstellendes Zimmer. Zuwenig Liegen im Außenbereich.

Schönes Wellnesswochenende

Wir haben drei Nächte im Kempinski verbracht und waren alles in allem sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war super sauber und schön und das Frühstück lecker und mit toller Auswahl! Allerdings war uns die Wassertemperatur der zwei Pools im Spa zu kühl. Auch auf Nachfrage beim Personal (wo sich auch ein weiterer Gast eingeschaltet hat, dem es auch zu kalt war), wurde auf das Thema leider nicht weiter eingegangen.
