Too far to be close

More of a guesthouse than a hotel. The owners live next door and are very nice. The room was quite spartan like a dorm room but en-suite. It was clean but really had no charm. The biggest problem was that the guesthouse was too far to walk to the shops or old karuizawa. So if you have to drive in why not just get a real hotel somewhere in sakudaira for much cheaper price? They also have a picture of a big bath on their profile but it’s some onsen somewhere cause there is not one on the premises.

This is a family run business. The owner is a very nice lady, she is warm and helpful. The place is well equipped with essential items and the room is clean and tidy.

Very hospitable owners who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They even gave us grapes when we first arrived and also drove us to the train station. Room is small compared to what you get in the US but it’s clean. Would stay here again.

Cozy and Clean

There was an English speaking staff member who was incredibly friendly and even provided us with English pamphlets about the surrounding area. :-) Everything was clean and very well organized.

Very nice and caring owner. Comfy beds and blanket. Right next to convenient store. And there are a few nuce restaurants within walking distances.

The hotel is dilapidated, dirty, inconvenient, and the staff is extremely rude. This hotel should disappear from this world as soon as possible.

Chambre exiguë et tarif excessif

La chambre était minuscule et on était quatre ! À ce prix là, j’étais très déçue. Les environs ne sont pas extraordinaire non plus. Seul point positif : la voiture pour la gare le lendemain.

アウトレットにも歩いて行ける立地の良さ、隣にセブンあり、シャワーの水圧も良い、寝るだけには充分なホテルでした。 オーナーの方もとても親切で感じが良かったです。お世話になりました。

我們訂的是兩人房，有兩張單人床以及兩張沙發床，房間很大，活動空間充足。老板與老板娘很客氣也送了我們很多小禮物。並且每天接送我們岀門以及回家。總體來說是非常好的住宿經驗！

感覺是一座旅館， 環境幽靜， 老闆伯伯態度親切， 我是住三人房，房間大，潔淨舒服， 唯獨是要搬行李上二樓， 有點累呢， 但整體上很好，下次有機會會再選擇來住宿

メインストリートにある宿泊施設、ロケーション最高デス。オーナーさんもその地域の話をしっかりして下さって親切でした。対コストパフォーマンスで言えば絶対良い宿泊施設デスよ、私達は仕事の関係で一泊しか出来ませんでしたが、連泊したかったですね。
