This is a very small, quiet property with beautiful rooms and excellent service. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, which was served on our patio. The food was delicious, and it was so nice to have it brought right to our room. The hotel is a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which has a nice walkway and lots of cafes to stop for a drink and look at the ocean. There were nice shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel arranged for airport pick-up and a driver to various sites in Bali. We also highly recommend the massage services - much appreciated after a long flight. If we return to Bali, we will definitely go back to Karmagali!

En fin d’après-midi vous avez droit à un service de thé et café avec biscuits. Les déjeuners sont servi à l’heure que vous voulez directement à votre chambre. Ils sont délicieux !

Perfect hideaway from the busy streets nearby - a hidden gem. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were lovely, very clean. The pool was great, very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Karmagali Boutique Suites is without a doubt a real hidden gem. We fell in love the second we walked in, the accomodation, staff and food is a 10/10 . This adults only resort is a must stay over spot for one night or the 7 we had.

7 nights - Unassuming set up, with such a peaceful ambience, in contrast to the bustling Bali traffic. The staff are exceptional & make this place special, generous meals & magical spa treatments (with Uli). Sanur is a great option for somewhere quieter, yet all you need. Highly recommend for some great R&R. Stand outs - Yopi, Lilly, Putu, Tara and team. Suksma.

The property layout and access to pool was excellent. Small mumber of rooms and no children ensured a quiet relaxing time.breakfast was served individually and was healthy and plentiful.

I loved this place. It was great and comfortable the staff was so helpful and sweet. The free breakfast was yummy. The pool was prefect. The location is wonderful. Close to almost everything within walking.

Quiet exclusive villab by with nice rooms

Lovely rooms with classy finishes and toiletries. Small but nice pool, great landscaping. Manager on site Putu was friendly and accommodating. Only negatives were no bottled water, no coffee/tea sachets provided until we requested specifically. Also a hit overpriced for a place about 10 mins walk to beach given that for same price we could easily have stayed on the beach with breakfast included.

Super new and clean. Incredibly helpful staff. Loved the e brochure they sent in an email with suggestions to local restaurants, and more.

Karmagali Suites was lovely... excellent quiet location. Beach was an easy 5 minute ride with the hotel’s complimentary bikes. The staff were lovely and helpful. Dewi even found some aloe vera from the garden to soothe my surnburn. I would highly recommend Karmagali.

Staff was super friendly.

Beautiful property. Slice of paradise. I would stay again. I had a lovely room. Extremely clean and great, characterful space (as opposed to characterless chain hotels in the area potentially). The toiletries were wonderful- especially the insect repellant made up from essential oils. The breakfasts were superlative and served in your private outdoor area. Very lovely. The location is fine... but it is about a good 15 minute walk from the beach. Don’t take the short cut that the staff recommended to me on my first day there. Stick to the main roads. If you are walking home in the dark, take a torch/keep your phone torch accessible as the road gets very dark at night in places. On the down sides, It was quite near to a fairly noisy road when I requested a tranquil room in my initial requests (I live next to a busy road in a city and was looking for some peace). To compensate, the staff arranged a free massage and it was wonderful, I have to say. I found the service at the hotel variable depending on the member of staff I spoke to. Best keep tabs on any requests you make (e.g for taxis etc.) to ensure they have actually been made. Also, I think you need to be fairly direct in asking for staff opinions of local services. They are discreet and will not necessarily voice opinions openly- a bit of a double edged sword if you booked a service (e.g island tour) and then had a terrible time, only to find out the staff knew! Very frustrating.

Stunning boutique establishment in a central location (short walk to the main walking street & beach). Beautiful rooms in lush and gorgeous garden surrounds. Delicious food and the most lovely & accommodating owners & staff they couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend this hotel absolutely perfect in every way - do yourself a favour and stay here!

A delightful dream...

Relaxing, impeccable and luxurious is how I would best describe the Karmagali. I felt so well-cared for by the amazing staff and my suite was an absolute dream. Breakfast was delicious and afternoon tea pool-side was a delight. While the Karmagali is not on the beach, it's an easy walk or you can borrow one of the hotel's bikes. I actually preferred this location because it is a quieter space. The hotel can also arrange excursions and transportation, which was so helpful. The Karmagali is truly a wonderful place to stay.

Luxurious haven

Beautiful suites and fantastic staff that are very attentive and friendly. It is a lovely setting and to relax and cool down in and the pool was just gorgeous. Breakfast was great as was lunch and dinner. The food was prepared and presented with such care. Also, be sure to have a massage. This was my first stop after a long journey and it was perfect in every way, luxurious, calming and well looked after by the karmagali team. I would recommend karmagali without hesitation!

Lovely suites around a fabulous pool

We stayed for a week here before returning home after our trip. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Super comfy bed, room nicely decorated. Plentiful breakfast served on your own patio area as no restaurant on site. A bit of a walk to the beach although bikes are available if wanted. Lovely pool which was always warm. Although we were both poorly during our stay (not related to the hotel) we were well looked after and still enjoyed our time here Only criticism, all the other rooms were booked by a party who were staying to celebrate a birthday in our last few days. We wish we had been warned beforehand and allowed to change to another hotel.

Good for the price

Really friendly staff and really quiet space. Breakfast has a large selection of fresh fruits and other hot food to choose from. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Location is rather hidden in the small alleys but very close to Sanur beach and some great restaurants around!

Absolutely perfect! We have been to Bali so many times before but never in Sanur and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Only problem was we didn’t stay long enough. A must go for regular Bali travelers and first timers. 10 out of 10

Wonderful gem in Sanur with lovely staff

We loved our stay here, the room was gorgeous, the gardens/pool were luxurious, and most of all - the staff were an absolute delight, they really made our visit. We stayed here the whole time we were in Bali and are SO happy we did so! The service is excellent, staff are sweet, personable and warm, the breakfast was fantastic. We loved being here, thank you for having us!

What a wonderful, peaceful and extremely comfortable boutique villa, nestled away in a quiet corner of Sanur. The highlights were definitely Magali and Frederic's personal attention to detail and care given to all guests. Their handy tips on the local area and the free bike facilities made it very easy to get around. We were looking for the Bali we remembered years ago and Karmagali's location and comforts definitely gave us this (as opposed to the chaotic frenzy of Semjnyak now). Thanks again for a lovely stay! PS - breakfasts were AMAZING: wholesome, delicious, generous servings and certainly presented with care and attention!

Top quality gem

A short 2 night stay but very impressed with this small friendly hotel. Greeted by friendly staff and shown to lovely big room and ensuite with private outside seating area all beautifully decorated. Owners also met us and helped with directions and ideas for sight-seeing. Fantastic breakfast included and the most comfortable beds in Bali!!

Hidden gem of Sanur

Intimate yet private resort with exceptional standards and facilities. Breakfast is a treat worth getting up for each day! Immediate local area not brochure-worthy but excellent base for exploring the south of the island. Owners extremely friendly and full of top tips to maximise your time on the island.

Peaceful Oasis

Great small boutique hotel with a beautiful pool, wonderful rooms and amenities. Service, staff & owner were excellent, with only a few minor hiccups with new staff. Only 2 issues was family type noise from the neighborhood, but which is hard to avoid as buildings in Bali are so close to each other. The other is just a wish the beaches were within walking distance, but the complimentary bicycles were great.

Exceptionally clean and modern

We stayed here for 3 nights in early February. What stands out about this boutique hotel is the total attention to detail. It is rare that the pictures displayed on a website match reality. But the reality is actually better. Staff are vigilant and yet not intrusive, often offering free ginger water while we lazed by the pool. The hotel is not next to the beach but offer free bikes to use. The room was a delight. Comfortable clean bed, TV with international channels, a huge exquisite "Kew gardens" style bathroom. We met the manager who solved a minor problem for us without issue, something we later didn't get from a larger hotel in Tuban, Kuta. Pick this hotel and you will not be disapointed.

Clean and well serviced villa

Good stay. Service and housekeeping was impeccable. They looked after their guests really well and helped out with bookings for massages and transport. The negatives: There is a rooster that goes on and on at around 5am. When you are trying to sleep in a little, waking up at 5am to that is not very welcoming. Also, there is no phone in the room hence trying to contact the staff to ask for help was difficult and had to walk in the rain to the managers' office to get attention.

Excellent but a bit far from attractions

Very quite place with excellent service but a bit far from everywhere and it would need more variety for the breakfast. 3 French breakfasts, 3 time exactly the same things.... Also, d'ont ask them to be quick. I ordered a taxi the day before for a certain time, it arrived more than 20' after and they were telling me every 3 minutes it's coming when they even didn't know where the driver was.... A pity to end the stay like this.....

Excellent séjour dans super Hôtel

Rien à dire, personnels aux petis soins, toujours disponible, souriant malgré un contexte particulier. Merci à Frédéric et Magali, les propriétaires de l'hotel qui ont répondu à toutes nos demandes. Magnifique petit déjeuner, chambre spacieuse et très propre, piscine trés agréable. Aller y sans hésitation, vous ne serez pas déçu.

Vi var meget glade for opholdet på Karmagali Boutique Suites. Skønt lille hotel beliggende i et dejligt lokalt område med flere små og hyggelige restauranter i nærheden. Der er cirka 15 minutters gang til stranden med mulighed for at benytte Art Beach Club's liggestole på stranden. Personalet på stedet er ubeskriveligt søde og gør deres bedste for at betjene gæsterne bedst muligt. Umuligt ikke at blive "forelskede" i Dewi og Putu, den lille smilende massage-dame og alle de andre. Skulle vi nogensinde til Sanur igen, ville vi helt sikkert igen vælge Karmagali Boutique Suites.

I enjoyed my 4 nights stay at Karmagali. The staff was very friendly, always with a smile. Karmagali is near restaurants and the beach, you can easily walk to closest ones. If you want to go further away they have free bikes for you to use. The traffic in Sanur is slow and nice, so riding a bike is just fun and easy :) The bed was really comfy and the suite had a nice feng shui with the garden in the bathroom. I really enjoyed Sanur and Karmagali. Thank you for having me!

妻と二人で宿泊しました。ヴィラは客室数は多くないが、新しく、しっかりと管理されていて、とても綺麗です。何より素晴らしいのはスタッフのホスピタリティです。よく気配りができ、常に親切に対応してくれます。 クラウブハウスなどの豪華な設備があるわけではないですが、静かで、とてものんびりできます。また訪れたいです。

Absolut empfehlenswerte kleine Hotelanlage mit super freundlichem Personal. Die Anlage wird von einem französischem Ehepaar geführt, die wie auch absolut alle Mitarbeiter die Gäste auf das Beste umsorgen. Man bekommt viele hilfreiche Tips und Informationen. Zimmer sind wunderschön und sauber. Gleich am Morgen war das erste Highlight das Frühstück, super lecker mit selbstgemachtem Brot und Marmeladen. Wir würden immer wieder gerne hier her kommen.
