The location was great, and the Staff was very friendly
light was not working in the small room, i ask themmto fix it but they did not..
This ryokan was very spacious and was located in the heart of Dotonbori. The staff were very friendly and the property was clean. The halls had a bit of a strange smell, but the room itself was fantastic and had a stunning view of the river.
We stayed at Kaneyoshi Ryokan for a weeklong stay in Osaka and it was just perfection. First, location wise it was right in the heart of Dontonburi so if youâre there to see sights, then it is absolutely walkable (youâll be right in the thick of the crowds and bustling energy of Osaka). As for the digs, itâs a very traditional Ryokan room despite being in such a modern city which was just amazing. The private and public baths were a real highlight. The staff went above and beyond from fresh tea snacks everyday to a warm greeting when you come and go. Loved our stay there!
Location
Nice room with a little sitout looking over the canal...also had public baths (onsen) for the guests. Since it was a national holiday it was a bit noisy at night till about 1 am around the canal ...not sure how it is otherwise
SO nice to have bath /onsen in building, lovely traditional rooms. Very nice and helpful staff. Thank you!
Beautiful traditional Tatami room overlooking the river. A bit of old Japan in the middle of Osakaâs chaos. At night you could hear muffled music from neighbouring bars but got quiet after midnight.
Absolutely beautiful place and very comfortable beds with extra cushions under them. If you stay here breakfast is a must it was a wonderful experience
Good location if you want to be near the shopping streets The hotel rooms were dated but well kept and comfortable
This hotel was a nice piece of traditional in a big city. Itâs right on the dotombori so if you like the night life scene, this is perfect for you. We didnât do breakfast since we left early everyday but Iâm sure it would have been delicious.
Osaka Ryokan
I was ready to give this Ryokan a glowing review. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the river. The staff were friendly. However, upon return to our room from breakfast at 8:25am, we found our beds packed up and our belongings on the floor although check out was at 10am. We were not told that this would happen and was very much not appreciated.
Loved the traditional Japanese hotel set up,,,was great to put on a traditional yakata and have tea. Staff was very helpful and went ubove board to make our stay enjoyable, even let us leave our luggage after our check out so we could walk around Osaka more without carrying it everywhere.
Wonderful Stay
IT was a stone throw to Dotonbori. Rooms are fairly price with superb location. As i have 3 kids 14, 11 and 6, i was only able to make booking for 1 adult and 1 kid for total 2 rooms. But was charge at the counter when checking in for additional headcount for my 6 yo kid as i was not able to include 2 Adults 3 kids on the website at the beginning. Other than that all esle was good especially the proximity to places. Also the place opposite plays some loud music till 12.30 or 1am. So if you are light sleeper then may have to think twice.
Spacious authentic Japanese room with tatami floor. Nice view at the donbudori river. The staff are friendly. The Japanese breakfast was fantastic. Sound proof with wasn't too good as we can hear the next door alarm and the music from bars though it didn't bother me to sleep.
Great Place Great People
The service staffs are very friendly. One staff even printed a copy of train direction and slot it under the door while we were sleeping! The roomâs big for 2 people and the futon was so comfortable. Will definitely stay at this place again next time!
Nice clean hotel, staff is friendly and helpful. You can still get in and out after 1 am from the backdoor as long as you have your key on you. Area is so vibrant and full of food and shopping options
Pleasant, homely with lots of characters.
The staff was extremely helpful, going out of their way to speak English with us, a wonderful gesture since my wife and my Japanese still needs work. The room was clean and neat with a great view of the river. The beds however, traditional futons on the floor, weâre incredible. We had the best sleep of the entire trip on those futons, without exaggeration. They were warm and soft and supporting at the same time. My wife asked if we could get some at home⊠The are around the hotel was a little dirty, but we also stayed here through Halloween, and the partying was insane on the streets, so of course I donât fault the hotel for any of that. Next time we visit Osaka, weâll definitely be staying here again.
The room was very clean, well equipped and amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. The location was very convenient with tons of restaurants and shopping places around.
Great location and beautiful view from the room over river front. I was disappointed that check out was so early. This ryokan was a great experience.
highly recommended
We loved this ryokan very much. It is right in the center of things, we had a balcony overlooking the Dontonbori River, and it was just beautiful at night. We could walk everywhere. It is a family run business and their hospitality was wonderful, especially thier daughter Kahori who spoke excellent English and was super friendly and helpful. We checked out the onsen upstairs, and it looked inviting and very clean, there is one for men, another for women, but we had no timeto use them. If we go back to Osake one day we will stay here again. Oh, and we did not get their breakfast as Wwe read that it was typical Japanese, so we walked two blocks and had the buffet at the Holiday Inn. However, maybe next time we will try their breakfast, I am sure it is good too.
Amazing
Absolutely excellent experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, great rooms and really helpful staff.
nice
The location of this ryokan is perfect! Easy access to the Dotonbori area of Osaka. Highly recommend this place. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Very big rooms and the location is very close centre of the city so very convenient but it is very noisy at night (I couldn't sleep until 1 am as a result)
Best Hotel at best location, very helpful staff and clear and comfortable.. highly recommended. Will stay again ..
We enjoyed staying at property. It was very clean and the floor mattress was surprisingly comfortable. Our room overlooks the Dotonbori river and is in the heart of Osaka, walking distance to shopping, market, restaurants and train stations. The area was so lively and colorful. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again.
Superb hospitality from the staff who really made us feel welcome! The traditional rooms were a great addition and experience to our trip round Japan. Great location in amongst the hustle and bustle of Dotonbori - yet a peaceful retreat in the room. Fully recommend staying
Stay on the canal!
Fantastic location, especially with the view of the canal. Loved the spaciousness and feel of the room. It was my first time staying in a ryokan and I loved it. Staff was helpful with their limited English. Only downsides were some concerns about security (have to leave key with desk, no deadbolt or bar inside door), the light and noise from the windows, and the quality of the 6th floor bath -- kinda dingy. And the towels so small and flimsy for big American bodies! But the room and the location was so great, would happily stay again.
The whole experience was great! Our stay in this Ryokan was an overall great experience. The location is perfect as it is so close to Dotunburi. You are overlooking the river from your room. The owner was so kind and so accommodating. We will definitely stay in this place again when we go back to Osaka. This place is Highly recommended.
Located right in Dotonburi
We were able to experience a night in a ryokan. Everything was as we expected and they paid a lot of care to the details. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
The room was very spacious, and the location was really good. It was close enough to Dotonbori but still a bit far that it is quiet and restful.
Great location to night life, friendly staff and nice and quiet at night whilst still being super close to the food and night life.
Location was everything, clean and comfortable ryokan. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Great place to stay.
The property was clean and in a great location, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We were so grateful for the kindness and help from the staff. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Osaka.
Best place in Osaka.
This hotel is friendly, clean and so very nicely situated in the centre of the city. Food is everywhere in abundance ans staff super friendly. The only minus point is the WIFI which is very slow. Further, a highly recommended place to stay
Traditional stay in the city
Very friendly staff. Great location. Lovely traditional feel right in the heart of Osaka. Slightly tired property, however it is looked after well and is clean. Overall a great place to stay.
The good thing is that Kaneyoshi Ryokan is right in the middle of everything. The bad thing (if you are not a late-night person) is that the middle of everything in Osaka stays pretty loud rather late. So you take the bad with the good. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, doing everything possible to make our stay-and subsequent travel-as smooth as possible, and the hotel is clean. Note: check-out is on the early side (10:00).
Great location overlooking the river and very near main shopping area
Great hidden jem
A true ryokan experience. It is located on the Dotombori, and 3 minutes walk from the metro station. Also a 5 minute walk from the Kumoron market. Staff is friendly, room is specious, and has Japanese decor. Tatami floor, paper sliding doors, a porch with view to the river and mattresses on the floor. Plenty more in the closet, so I was able to add one for my old back...They bring you tea and water to the room, and a yacata to wear. Very relaxing. Enjoyable stay.
Cozy room but curfew policy.
Very good experience. The staff was very helpful and polite. The only thing that I didn't care for was the 1am curfew, but the area is filled with bars and adult entertainment businesses. On the weekends, the bar noise last until 2am. The room was exactly what was advertised, and felt like an authentic japanese style room. I would book this hotel again.
Location is fantastic being central to the Dotonbori area, walk out the front door and you are in the midst of the rush! It is easy to access being close to a couple of stations, we used the Namba Station, but Nippombashi is also close. Our room was relatively spacious and had everything we needed. The space was divided into various areas (entry, bathroom, main area and 'sun room') which was refreshing having just stayed at a couple of very, very small apartments. The room was clean and comfortable and everyday staff put fresh cold and hot water, tea and a snack of sorts in the room; a nice homely touch. We had a room overlooking the DÅtonbori canal which was nice to look over. The window opened to let in fresh air (good) but without the window open it did get a bit stuffy. Also, while we had a non smoking room, smoking is permitted in areas close by and at times you could still smell the smoke. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The staff we interacted with had good English which was extremely helpful considering our limited Japanese! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Perfect place tout discover Osaka.
Traditional ryokan with public bathing facilities on the top floor. Staff wa very helpful. Right on the river, next to the cityâs night life district.
Good location
Love that the hotel is close to every place I wanted to go in Osaka like Dotombori, Kuromon, Doguyasuji, Shinsaibashi. We had late afternoon flight back and check out time was 10am. They let us leave our luggages so we can do more shopping or sight seeing and lunch before we take our bus to the airport. Safekeeping usually costs Y500 per bag in other places but they didnât charge us any. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to the bus terminal.
First time in a ryokan so it really made my day! The bed is really comfortable and the room is really clean!
The hotel seemed to be a little old but it is well maintained and clean. The rooms are fairly spacious (much larger than we had been expecting). The staff are excellent, they greet you every morning, hold the lift for you and will generally do anything they can to make your stay better.
Better than the Western Options
Really enjoyed this throwback to Japanese style rooms. A real gem of an urban Ryokan. Central location is fantastic. Staff are unbelievably friendly, helpful & professional. En-suite rooms, paper screens, futons, tatami, yukatas, tea makers. Worth every penny. Book with confidence & just go with the experience.
Favorite Place to stay in Osaka
Love this place. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are roomy and clean.
Perfect location, center of everything. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Down side, 1am curfew.
Near to the dinning/shopping hub, spacious for 2
It is right at the centre of Shinsaibashi. It is spacious for 2 people, there is a table not too big but enough for cutting fruit, but kitchenware is not provided. There is different little welcome food provided by the hotel everyday. But, the air-con and the fridge are not cold enough. And we are asked to go back to hotel before 1am, which is a bit inconvenient for people who want night life in Osaka. The laundry shop suggested by the staff looks too delapitated, we dare not to use.
Overall this property is ok, just a little bit old. But that is the style of most ryokan.
Great manager
The manager on duty was an absolute gentleman and professional. He went above and beyond giving us detailed information about transportation and flightsâwithout even being asked! I rated it a 5 in every category but condition, because the room had a faint smell of cigarettes (we must have been placed on a smoking floor, number 5). Ask for a no smoking floor and youâll have the best experience possible. Beautiful. Traditional. A Japanese gem.
Consistently great and handy location
Have stayed here many times and always love it. Spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. Awesome baths on the top floor. Overlooks the canal (if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view) and walking distance to the neon and craziness of Doutonbori !!!
Charming Ryokan Near the Action
My fiancee and I stayed at the Kaneyoshi Ryokan during the last leg of our Asia trip, and we wish we could have stayed here longer. As for the ryokan, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they even provided recommendations as to where to find ochazuke. I wasn't a huge fan, however, of not having the option to decline the daily housekeeping service. Also, note that the staff is very efficient and will ring your doorbell to see what time you're heading out so that they can spruce up the room. The room itself was simple but comfortable, and we really enjoyed the traditional style tatami mats and futon mattress (we're even thinking of swapping our spring-mattress for a futon now that we're home!). The bathroom was small but included all of the necessities. Although I didn't check it out, there is an onsen (public bath) on the top floor if you want that experience. However, I was content with enjoying the charms of the room, which included a view of the busy canal below. Note that it can be a little loud in the evenings, so if you're sensitive to sound (like me) just pop in some earplugs before bed and you're good to go. I'd say the best part of this ryokan is the location. It's about a two minute walk to Dotonbori, which is renown for its bright, flashy lights and tasty takoyaki (and okonomiyaki, and seafood, and melon pan, and and and). Kuromon Market's not far either, and Namba Station is a ten minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Good location, tired accommodation
Kaneyoshi was ok, but just ok. The location is great for exploring the dotonbori and other popular areas around there. The room also had a nice little enclosed balcony part which was good for watching the world go by. However the accommodation itself wasn't great. As it's in a busy area it was a bit noisy, with boats going by and lots of people on the street. The whole place felt a little run down and it could do with redecorating. We booked it for a traditional Japanese stay and perhaps I overestimated how comfortable a futon would be but I woke up really achey after the first night and had to add another mistress and a couple of duvets to the bed to make it more comfortable for the second night. The bathroom was small but functional but there seemed to be a problem with the hot water as it was spluttering out of the taps and shower. Overall I probably wouldn't stay again.
Overall, the hotel staff was very nice. The person who checked me in was a bit challenging, but that may be intercultural differences. If you are looking for a traditional hotel and not expecting up to date amenities, this can be a good choice. Be prepared for the party noise from outside late into the night. This is not a quiet neighborhood in the evening so if you're ok with that, then again, can be a good choice because rate is very reasonable and breakfast is good.
Our only ryokan experience. Neither of us would do it again. Futon on the floor was too hard. But this place has a great location!! Staff are great and speak good English. Youâre in the heart of the action for night life. The street scene is amazing. Checkout time was 10, even though Expedia said 11.
Smoky, and with a Curfew!
Service was excellent, however we were EXTREMELY disappointed to have a CURFEW 1am. To stay in such a lively late night are to be told we'd be locked out at 1am is ridiculous. It should be made clear to travelers BEFORE booking if this rule is acceptable or not. The entire room smelled like smoke, and while it was clean and the service was nice, I would not recommend unless you are ok with the two issues above. Shame our last night of Japan was cut short because of curfew.
Everything great!
The staff were very charming and helpful! It was a real Japan experience! We loved the place and we will probably go back there with our kids! Thank you so much!
+100 years and still going strong
It's set back from the Dotonbori canal and is close to Namba station so it's a great place to stay for accessibility. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were well kept and had a great traditional/modern fusion feel. The only things I'd say are that it can be a bit loud near Dotonbori, and at night the street leading to it can be a little bit seedy (club advertisers etc.) but that's no fault of the hotel.
Elite Stay !
Review rating: Location = 10/10 Walking distance to Dotonbori ! Near to train station Room 7/10 Decent Size, Clean, WiFi Strong Value for money = 8/10 Although quite pricy. it is worth it as the overall rating in terms of location, price, comfortability Staff 8/10 Friendly Manager First time trip to Osaka, Kyoto and Kinosaki Onsen Free and easy journey
Very happy with my stay. The location is fantastic. Right behind the dontonbori street. Overlooking the dontobori river. Staff is very friendly too.
We wanted a traditional japanese style hotel in Osaka, and this place delivered. A street away from bustling Dotonburi street was a great location. We weren't used to the japanese style of futons on the floor, but it was a great experience. I would recommend anyone looking for a more japanese style room to stay here.
Smoky, basic room
We stayed here for one night to check out Osaka during our honeymoon. Unfortunately we were placed next to a smoking room or smoke from the gambling club next to us traveled into our room day and night. Other than that, the room was adequate. They provided iced water and tea, but you'd have to travel out of the ryokan for food. Very, very convenient location and not that noisy. It was the opposite of romantic, but would be great for a big group of friends!
Great service! Thanks
Nice location close to Dotonbori
Convenient location, staff were friendly. Rooms are simple but clean and actually quite spacious except for the bathrooms, which is usual in Japan though. Would have loved to try their traditional breakfast but they told us it was too late when we requested the night before.
Considerate and friendly staff
The staff provided rack to dry my socks even though I didn't ask for it. Very thoughtful of them.
Conveniently located medium budget Ryokan in Osaka
Location (central, very close to shopping & restaurant options) Welcoming and helpful staff (speaks English) Ryokan option in central Osaka
Small family-run ryokan in the heart of the action
Small but comfortable rooms and friendly service. Overlooks Doutonbori canal, so only a 2 min walk to the best food street in all of Japan. Japanese style rooms with tatami floors, futons etc and welcome hot baths on the top floor.
Ryokan in by the water
Stayed here on my last day in Osaka. This place is right by Dotonbori and Denden town. The room was a little old but still quite clean and had a great view of the Dotonbori. The front desk staff also spoke English. Recommended overnight stay.
Comfortable, convenient ryokan in Dotonburi
Heading into Osaka from Himeji and planning some serious sightseeing and shopping on my last day in Japan, I headed to Kaneyoshi Ryokan to drop off my luggage two hours before the check-in time, since their website stated that they were willing to hold luggage for guests. To my surprise, I was immediately checked in and shown to my room (as was the couple before me and the gentleman who came in after). I was handed a packet consisting of both hotel and Osaka information (the latter of which I didn't need seeing that it was my last day there, but it was a very thoughtful gesture nonetheless), including the wifi password. As it turns out, unlike what the FAQ on their website says, their wifi was very much accessible in the guest room (or at least, in the room I got). And while they do not have non-smoking rooms, there was absolutely no sign or smell of tobacco in my room. Public baths in Japan are wonderful, but it was very nice to have a private bathroom and shower in the room as well. My stay at Kaneyoshi Ryokan was most pleasant, and I look forward to staying there again.
great clean place in the centre of osaka
great stay. traditional set up is awesome [as long as you're ok with futon] staff speak good english and are very helpful with local information our room was a bit stuffy when we turned up, but had a nice large window and soon cleared up
Great location, great staff, great stay.
This place was great! The staff was polite, spoke English and were very helpful! Our room was nice and had an awesome view. Way better than expected, despite the great reviews. The location was perfect, nothing less.
Comfy ryokan close to shopping centre
Scenery outside the room was good because it had the view of the river. Noisy neighbourhood because of close to entertainment centres
Great traditional Ryokan
In a great location. The staff went above and beyond what of was expected of them. I would recommend this to anyone.
Nice ryokan by the Dotonbori Canal/street
Excellent service from the staffs. Love the location. Close to everything. The owner was very nice and staffs are welcoming and helpful. Love the traditional room.
Great location!
Hotel a bit old but clean. Very nice staff. Next to walking street Dontonburi with tons of snacks. Might not be best location if traveling with kids as it it on the same street as a few 'Entertainment Club'.
Curfew is horrible
It's an average hotel, but they have a 1:00 AM curfew where you can't leave or comeback to the hotel between the hours of 1-6 AM. This isn't stated anywhere in the description in hotels.com, at least not at this time. Might be fine for some, but this hotel in located in one of the largest nightlife district and limits your time out if your someone who just doesn't like to sit in the hotel. At this age in my life I shouldn't have to deal with curfews.
Nice staff
Cutest man at the front counter. So helpful! Goes out of his way to help you. Great location. Good experience all round.
Nice hotel right in the middle of town
The walk from Namba isn't too bad, the hotel is easy to find and the staff are welcoming and very informative. The stay was great - we could smell smoke in the non-smoking room in the morning but not ridiculously bad and it is something you kind of expect in Japan we found. The room was very comfortable and the location was great for getting to key tourist spots around town.
Close to the action!
Kaneyoshi Ryokan is certainly close to the action - right near Dotonburi, the shops and all the lively action at restaurants and street stalls along the canal, as well as to transport to take you near or far (ie metro and JR stations) The hotel itself looks a little tired, but the rooms are clean, the public bath is simple but certainly does the trick and the staff are MORE than helpful with anything you care to ask of them.
Hotel was good. We stay there for 1night, it is close to dotonbori shopping street only a few mins walk. Also close to subway station within walking distance. Room was clean, we heard on karaoke song from the street but it is not our peoblem. It was not that loud. They prepared a set of brochuer and map for osaka for us during check-in. Overall is good. Staff was ok.
Good tatami hotel
If you want a decent tatami experience, this is the place. The location of the hotel is also very close to tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly too. Though in room entertainment was limited, but the room was very spacious and comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay!
Wonderful ryokan, would come back!
For a 2 star hotel, it far exceeded my expectations. Like everywhere else in Japan, the rooms are spotless, as was the bathroom. We had ample space for the three of us. The service was outstanding, expect for one man at the front who wasn't very friendly or helpful. But overall, I would recommend this ryokan. It is right off the canal, and adjacent to Dotomburi yet without the noise. Wonderful stay.
Central location
The building and lobby decor is outdated but the rooms are clean with a great view of the river down below and it is close to many major attractions. The neighborhood was described as "sketchy" by an older cab driver but by U.S. standards, it's super safe. Sketch element probably due to a lot of host bars in the area. Walls are thin but it's a great value for the price.
Hotel staff very helpful. Good location. Ensuite bathroom needed updating.
perfect ryokan
The staff were very accommodating. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. Facilities were at par from our expectations. Location was very near everything that we need (shopping, food, night-life). We just hope that they can accommodate all guests for the breakfast.
Unique Japanese Experience
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and were very pleased with our choice. The staff were very welcoming, and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The room was very Japanese, but it included modern comforts, such as decent WiFi, an ensuite bathroom, and an in-room safe. The location is superb, 5 min north of Nipponbashi Station; turn LEFT out of exit 2 at Nipponbashi station, walk across Nippon bridge then make an immediate left and you will see a blue sign with white letters. Please note that the English name is on the sign coming from this direction, but the other side of the sign is only Japanese (threw us off the first night). It did get a bit noisy overlooking the canal, but it did not bother us as we enjoyed people watching and the noise ended by around 10pm when we went to bed. I should also note there is a 1am curfew, which again did not bother us - actually, we appreciate not being disturbed by late returning guests. I also tried the shared bath, just to say I did... It was a bit on the small side, but regardless, very nice to soak in after a long day of sightseeing.
Traditional Hotel close to Osaka Namba center
Our first experience in a Ryokan was very positive and exciting. Tatami floors, table and legless chairs by day, Comfortable futon for sleeping ay night. First off we dressed up in Yokata provided and took pictures. The room was spotless with refrigerator, air conditioning and excellent Western bathroom. Japanese TV. On the 6th floor spotless, piping hot communal baths with washing areas etc. - separate for men and women. There was also a closed balcony between the room and the outside wall with a long counter and regular chairs which was very useful. There was only hanging space for clothes so we also lived partially out of our bags which we opened on the closed balcony. Location is excellent. Right in the Namba shopping and nightlife area. Nippombashi subway a few minutes walk South of the Ryokan. Subway easy to use and took us every where.
Recommend.
Clean. Friendly staff. Great location.
Hands down the best place to stay in Osaka.
Awesome Ryokan Hotel slap bang in the middle of Dotombori area, Loads of restaurants and street vendors at the doorstep and grate shopping only a walk away. If you can't already tell I luv this family run Hotel, staff are spot on and the Japanese breakfast will not disappoint :) yum Also the gentleman that works the afternoon evening shift ( owner I think ) Is the most helpful front of house I've ever been served by. Even mention what your thinking of seeing the next day and your more than likely to find printed map and train timetable at front desk in the morning. The guy is awesome :) this was my 2nd stay and it won't be my last. Thanks for your help and for a grate room and even better food. Regards Jason Brian Fenn
well located ryokan
This was an authentic Japanese Ryokan close to Namba train station and right in the heart of Osaka's entertainment district but away from traffic noise. We stayed in a family tatami room with our two sons and it was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the canal from the window. Also had a great time in Osaka and Himeji Castle.
Great place to spend the night at!
Close to the busy night life that was adequate for the whole family. Very nice hosts!
Very affordable and clean ryokan
This ryokan is awesome, clean room, traditonal japanese style, ensuite toilet, will defnitely recommend this if you want a futon ryokan stay right at dotonbori.
Good place to stay for a short time
This hotel is located right in the middle of Dotonbori which is perfect for shopping and dinning. However, it's quite far from the red-line subway or airport line. The room is large considering its location and quite comfortable. The staffs are very helpful.
Kaneyoshi Ryokan | Home in Osaka | Travala.com
We stayed in a traditional Japanese room overlooking the Dotonbori River. The room was spacious and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Service from the male boss and a female staff was friendly and warm. They also served free beverages at the lobby. The location was superb at the heart of Dotonbori and a short walking distance to Shinsaibashi shopping area too. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Osaka looking for a unique experience and yet want to enjoy all the convenience of staying in a popular district.
