Lovely room, location but not mega child friendly.

Great location, nice room, but breakfast menu was limited. They claimed we should not have been able to book as we were a family and tried to charge us more once we had checked in. I refused and once they realised the children were well behaved they were very nice.

Should have a warning about steep Stairs.

No curtains on toilet window.kettle didn’t work.smell from bathroom.no lift.

Fantastic boutique hotel, in the heart of the old city with lovely restaurant on the ground floor overlooking the river. Staff was absolutely amazing, facilitated (really) late arrival and made sure our stay was truly amazing. Stunning views from the apartment (but be prepared for a lot of stairs to the top floors as no lift!) and really nice decor. Will wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

Location is great, room is very small.

Stayed for three nights in the Sunny Yellow room. Picked this room specifically for the pictures and the balcony. Apartments are located above the restaurant. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. The stairs to the apartment (there is no lift) are very narrow and many of them as well, you have to try an maneuver past furniture on the landing. Our room was very tiny. There was not a minibar as listed. Instead you are left a bottle of liquor and a bottle of wine for purchase, of course - prices are quite escalated. So no where to put anything to stay cold. There is a kettle. The balcony which my husband wanted more than anything was not cleaned. Very dirty and not something you would want to go to sit out on. They did change the towels everyday. You are given a key so you can come and go through the back door of the restaurant. It is cluttered and dark so difficult to get down and through. There is no parking, so you must find street parking. Did not try the restaurant because they open late for breakfast. Wifi is really bad...most times you won't get it. In the end, it was not exactly what we thought we were getting. The location is perfect.

We stayed in the apartments above the restaurant which have got the lovely rooms and the food we tried in the restaurant always was spot on and tasted amazing. Breakfast was the best ever and made for King. We tried as well some dishes from lunch and dinner service and it was a top class food. Highly recommended restaurant with lovely service beautiful views and atmosfere.

Charming place, homelike stay, fantastic location

Fantastic and charming stay right in the heart of everything with walking distance to old town.

Amazing Location!

Hotel staff was super friendly, and our room on the fourth floor was great. Large, and spacious and views over looking the water. Only down fall is the hike up he stairs since their is no elavator. Prime location to all main attractions!

Hotel with character, charm and great location.

Not a large hotel, it consists of a handful of apartments above one of Gdansks landmark restaurants. The room we used was Van Gogh and it was lovely, clean and well put together. It's not for anyone who needs large hotel facilities and services and definitely not for anyone who can't use stairs, but if you prefer genuine charm and character to be part of your stay this may be for you. Our room had iconic views of waterfront Gdansk and felt to be very much in the centre of things. The restaurant itself is fabulous, not exactly cheap but a feast for the eye as well as the taste buds. We loved it.

We had the sunny yellow room on the second floor.

The only thing I can say is they should say there is no lift. The room was lovely including the nice balcony.

The location is a restaurant with apartments upstairs. The position is really great, on the river side, with a great view on the river. Furniture is really nice. Kind service.

Flott rom, men våkner 5 om morgenen fordi gardinene som er der ikke dekker til.Brannalarmen i hele komplekset gikk i en timepå morgenen, ingen å få tak i, opplevdes som en brannfelle og utrygt, vi sov dårlig de to nettene vi var her dessverre, ellers fint og rent, men det hjelper lite.

Somewhat of a disappointment

On the positive side, the location is great. Unfortunately the dock was undergoing renovation, so the view from the basement floor was nonexistent. The access to the room are via a steep staircase and can not be recommended to people not prepared for it. There was not a minibar as described. There was no refrigerator. We got in a bit of an argument with the staff, as there was no iron, as described on hotels.com. Is was stolen some time ago and though there was an iron board, there was no Intention of getting an iron. We had to buy one ourselves. The bathroom is pretty small and though the apartment was cosy, it was worn down and not very clean. There was a lovely terrace, but it was dirty and one of the chairs was broken. It could be a place to recommend, but it’s not.

Tolle Lage und Ausblick. Gerne wieder!

Mittendrin in der Altstadt. Hervorragende Lage.

Talossa ei ole hissiä eikä ilmastointia mutta muutoin paikka tarjosi loistavat puitteet neljän yön vierailulle. Tämä ei ollut kliininen hotelliympäristö mutta tarjosi kivan vaihtoehdon. Huoneistossa oli pieni olohuone, makuuhuone ja suihku. Ja ihana jokinäkymä! Talo on vanha joten äänieristys ei ole kummoinen ja viikonloppuisin ja vilkkaana aikana katumelu saattaa kuulua huoneistoon. Sijainti loistava samaten kuin henkilökunta.

SŁABO

Stan pokoju nr 3 pozostawia wiele do życzenia: wyrwana bateria łazienkowa, nie działająca część oświetlenia, pomimo rezerwacji dla 3 osob przygotowano dwa komplety pościeli obsługa nie umie pomóc w przypadku parkingu. Często jeżdżę po hotelach ale ten jest wyjątkowo słaby...

Świetna lokalizacja, pokój cichy i ciekawie urządzony. Idealny na wypad na Stare Miasto. Piękny widok z okna.

Anbefales IKKE til overnatting

God mat, elendige boforhold med ingen rengjøring, salong var meget skitten med både blod / vinflekker i (som vi måtte legge over før vi kunne sitte ned),tett og skitten dusj med defekt blandebatteri (lunken og kaldt vann) måtte gi beskjed om å få nye handkle samt toalett papir, frokost ETTER kl 10:00

Slitte rom, topp belligenhet

Hotellrommene er slitt, men ok. Første rommet hadde ødelagt seng, det trakk ned inntrykket betraktelig. Den ble reparert, men måtte sove forsiktig. De 2 siste nettene fikk vi nytt rom, mye bedre. Beliggenheten er helt topp langs kaia. Noe lyder og musikk på kvelden men overkommelig. God mat i restauranten under. Hyggelige ansatte.

Wspaniałe miejsce do spędzenia pobyt z najwspanialszą, profesjonalną i pozytywną obsługą jaką mieliśmy przyjemność w życiu doświadczyć. Dodatkowo jedzenie w restauracji obłędne ! Wspaniały stek i makaron ! Jesteśmy absolutnie zachwyceni pobytem i na pewno wrócimy. Szczególne podziękowania dla Pana Grzegorza Managera, który dbał o każdy szczegół naszego pobytu oraz Pana Krzysztofa i Panią Karolinę którzy nas z wielkim uśmiechem na twarzy obsługiwali. Persoonallinen hotelli

Hyvä sijainti ja hauska persoonallinen hotelli ja huone. Huone oli n. 6. kerroksessa eikä hissiä ollut. Ei sovellu liikuntarajoitteisille. Kadulta kuului äänet jnkv. mutta meitä ei haitannut. Suihku oli huono, eikä lämmintä vettä tullut aina. Huoneen persoonallisuus korvasi pienet puutteet.

Geen lift, smalle "leveranciers" trap, geen warm water, z/w televisie, oud en krakkemikkig.

Netter wurde nicht gemacht, Bad wurde nicht gesäubert, Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt

Herlig liten leilighet plassert midt i smørøyet! Balkong ut mot elva, rent og pent med gode senger. Meget vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale. Det er få rom og restaurant i 1. etg. Ingen problem da jeg ønsket å få maten på rommet. Anbefales!

Wunderbar, erstklassig, gerne wieder.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am Wasser. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung sind sehr geschmackvoll und erlesen. Von dem im Erdgeschoss sehr frenquentierten Restaurant merkt man kaum etwas.

Perfekt läge men kan ändå inte rekommenderas

Fick ej bokat rum utan ett med färre antal sängar. Det sattes istället in extrasängar så det blev väldigt trångt. Dubbelsängen saknade bäddmadrass & man skulle sova direkt på resårbotten. Mycket obekvämt & ofräscht. Rummet luktade avlopp.

Etter flere opphold i Gdansk og overnatting på Goldwasser er vi litt skuffet. For det første (har ikke lagt merke til det før) det finnes ingen brannvarsling der og i forhold til smale trapper opp i etasjene skjønner man hva som vil skje ved brann. Vi spurte i resepsjonen og fikk til svar at detektorer el annen varsling hadde de ikke. Det var skittent på badet og standarden hadde sunket syntes vi. Dusjen funket ikke. Det var slitt og kanskje på tide med en oppdatering. Dørene var slarkete og vanskelige å få igjen. Vi var skuffet over hotellrommet men som vanlig var restauranten veldig bra. Nydelig frokost. Og beliggenheten er flott, midt i gamlebyen. Stor byggevirksomhet utenfor som var forstyrrende, de startet kl. 06.00 om morgenen. et hadde de ikke, og det var felles med de gamle hotellene i Gdansk.

Personeel vriendelijk,je kunt er lekker eten de hele dag door, kamers prima, alleen geen lift, we moesten een hoop trappen lopen.

Nice Hotel in the City Center.

We got the top floor room, no 7. A narrow room with beautiful view over the River. 71 stairs up as there are no elevator. Excellent Breakfast and Dinner.

Kanon läge, trevlig personal och trevligt rum. Det negativa är att det inte fanns någon hiss. Kan starkt rekomendera detta hotell.

Best hotel experience ever! The atmosphere of the room 'Gdansk' was just amazing as was the hotel's location.

Flott beliggenhet og en nydelig restaurant .

Etter flere opphold på Goldwasser kommer vi fortsatt til å besøke dette stedet midt i gamlebyen, eneste aberet er det bittelille badet, ikke lett for en stor mann på 2 meter å komme inn der for en dusj.

Charmigt, familjärt och centralt.

Här är det nära till allt, barer, restauranger och klubbar. Familjärt, inget 'riktigt hotell' med reception och sånt. Det är en restaurang som hyr ut 6 rum. De som jobbar i restaurangen sköter också rummen. Ingen service på natten. Kulturhus som turister fotar och beundrar.

Hadde et fint opphold her i 4 netter. Sentral beliggenhet, koselige rom, og fin utsikt. Var veldig fornøyd!

Mysigt hotell med bästa läget

proffsig personal. Ok frukost men finns bättre längre in i gamla stan. Restauranger är däremot riktigt bra och mysigt inrett med tunga sammetsgardiner och soffor i rosa/rött. Många trappor och ingen hiss i hotellet. Ett steg ut från hotellet och du är mitt på gatan som tar dig in till centrals gamla stan ca 3 min bort. Alla rum har inte kylskåp.

Kort resa med mycket .

Underbar stad och hotellet en pärla . Maten var utmärkt på våra utvalda ställen och billig.

Uitstekende plek voor een weekend Gdansk. Prachtig gelegen, schitterend uitzicht. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn, want er is geen lift (hotel is smal en hoog). Personeel bracht koffer naar de 5e verdieping.
