Outstanding service. David from the bar and kitchen service is a jewel!!

The hotel lost water for a whole day! And also power the elevators were not working. You can imagine the up and down stairs going to the 9th floor

Adrianna at the front desk was SUPER helpful with everything. I got in early on a red eye and she helped me get a room in good time. I also needed my dress pressed quickly because I was changing hotels the next day and she helped get that done fast! Everyone was kind and it was clean great JW property!

I would stay there again. It's a large hotel (300 rooms?), probably built in the 1980 but extremely well maintained. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and the breakfast buffet is lavish. The hotel is in a relatively upper-class area, Chapinero, studded with upscale restaurants; it's the place to stay. Although it is about a long 30-40 minutes by car from the museums and other tourists attractions in the old colonial and crazily busy center of Bogotá, it is easy and safe to use both taxis and Ubers. The only surprise was that the hotel has no central heating, especially given that Bogotá is almost always cool, but they lent us a portable electric heater and in the end we were very comfortable.

All is good other than your lobby. Basically you have no lobby. Almost the entire lobby is taken by this Marriott member club. Which leave no space for a lobby.

We were informed the same day that they will cut power from 1 am to 5 am . No elevators, no hot water, no lights. We were on the 6th floor and my wife is handicapped. We were attending a wedding .

The staff at the spa was really bad, they weren’t professional at all, they were rude and at times you couldn’t find them at their desk during business hours.

Nice hotel. Almost all the other guests were also from the USA. Staff spoke English. It being Columbia there were guards with dogs at all entrances.

In room entertainment

Hotel upgraded tv system and now has netflix and in room media streaming. This is just cherry on the topping for an amazing hotel.

Paid breakfast twice!

We booked a room with breakfast included. The first morning we went to the buffet and asked if the breakfast could be served in the room, and they told us that wouldn’t be a problem. At the time of check out they charged all the breakfasts, so we basically paid them twice. We asked to remove the charges and the answer was no. Total scam.

Overall this is a nice hotel in a convenient location in Bogota. I regularly stay in Marriott's and had a couple of problems which I would not usually expect at a JW Marriott.

Hotel rates are quoted in USD but hotel charges in COP at check out applying FX rates that are off market. Hence, the quoted USD rates are not really respected.

Too far from.tbe airport

When booking this hotel, I had in mind it was near the airport since that was the selection when searching on Expedia.com. This hotel is 10 miles from.El.Dorado Airport. Also, the hotel seems to have hidden fees and a ridiculous 19% tax.

Service was good overall, excellent location for businessmen. Still very close to shops and things if you’re going as a couple.

Comfortable hotel in Bogota

Great hotel in the heart of Bogota close to everything. Very comfortable room with all amenities. Front desk was very helpful but we waited half an hour for an airport Taxi while no one outside thought to go on the street and fetch one. So we waited and waited, I finally had enough and went to get it myself at the corner street down below. We made it but it was stressful and regrettable.

The best hotel that I saved

The staff could not do enough for you, they went out of your way over and above to keep you happy. I was meeting some friends there, and the person at the desk Corner room and checking on them to let them know that I have arrived. We stayed there for days, and actually eight in the restaurants the entire time that we were there. And used their pool whirlpool and spa. I highly recommend this hotel if you really want to be spoiled, or show somebody special a really good time. Clement

Nice clean room and great executive lounge

Staff were very nice, we mostly interacted with the exec lounge staff and they were very nice. Food was good too and it has a nice little balcony you can sit on. The hotel has a really nice bar area too that overlooks a courtyard pool.

The hotel is one of the best I stayed in, and I travel a lot. Very friendly and helpful staff. I booked a Junior Suite and is was very spacious and clean. Lounge breakfast is fantastic and again staff very friendly and always here to help. A great experience. My next trip to Bogota, I will definitely stay there again.

JW M standard of quality but needs to improve

I usually stay at this JW Marriott when I travel to Bogota. It is a good hotel. Nonetheless, given the new competition, I think it need improvement in terms of amenities and staff attentiveness.

Unfortunate incident.

This hotel was chosen because it always felt secure; on this particular trip, electronics were stolen, which was very disappointing as it is the hotel of choice BECAUSE it has always felt secure.

We had a great stay Bogota. We felt very safe at this hotel. The staff was professional and very courteous. Come prepared to speak some Spanish since most Colombians don't speak English. Google Translator came in handy. We'll be back.

The Staff at this JW Marriott (Bogota, Colombia) make it an easy decision to use this hotel again when I next return to Bogota. Extremely helpful and professional. Including finding a jacket I had left. Super breakfast. Made our recent trip very enjoyable. Had not been back to Bogota in nearly 6 years.

Lovely Business Hotels with Luxe Features

I have stayed at this hotel several times before, and I will continue to use it as my go to business hotel in Bogota. The service is great, and it feels luxurious. I especially enjoyed the club level lounge breakfast, and the WIFI is better than most free WIFI offered at hotels. The location is also ideal, as it is within walking distance of my business associates' Bogota offices.

Great location. Service was friendly food at restaurant was a bit pricey but you pay for what you get. I will return and this is my go to hotel when visiting Bogota. Spa steam room and indoor pool were also great.

The JW Marriott was great! The food at the hotel as well in Bogotá is consistently of the highest quality. The staff is helpful and friendly. The Zona G and Zona Rosa neighborhoods are within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott!

The room was super warm, I couldnt sleep. Its super expensive, it doesnt worth it. The charge me for taking to my room the breakfast who was included. That service a 3 stars hotel do it free of charge. Very disappointing experience.

Great Family Hotel

We were given access to the executive room, which turned out to be great, because if we got in late with the kids we were able to give them a quick dinner there and then put them to sleep. The staff is very accomodating and helpful, and will do anything they can to make your stay a pleasant one.

I really enjoyed the JW Marriott Bogota. The location is great; perfect neighborhood for some great dining and walking. The hotel staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help. The rooms and perfect. The gym is up to date and well equipped.

all is well in this hotel and it meets jw standards. a few details in the spa need to get fixed but these are minor details.

Avoid at all costs!

Booked a "best weekend deal" which states that it includes free wifi, breakfast, access to the executive lounge, and spa credit. the hotel front desk insisted that the lounge access is not included, i was forced to call expedia….. long story short it ended up like a football game, finally the reception told me that the lounge access is indeed included, but by then i had spent 2 hours on the phone. a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

Great property with room for improvement

This is my second stay in the hotel. The property - condition and aesthetics - is great. However, my impression is that the service has declined slightly since my stay there last December. I had two concerns in particular. First, the service in the lounge was slow every time I ordered from the lounge. Second, my bill had some incorrect charges when I was checking out. I also would note that the bill is quite difficult to decipher. As I was going through the receipts with the clerk to match up with the charges on the itemized check out list, I learned that the taxes are put as a separate line item, as is the gratuity. Also, each order is broken up into a separate line item. So for instance, if you order a coffee, and then another beverage later, they will appear as separate bills even though it was one visit to the lounge. I strongly recommend the hotel investigate a new, simpler system. Despite these concerns, I would return to the property.
