Everything was amazing but the sheets on the bed smelled a little musty, when they changed the sheets it was better but still had a smell to it
Friendly and helpful staff. If breakfast buffet can have more variety and more frequent changes would be perfect.
Close to a shopping mall and the metro station.
**Review of JW Hotel Beijing:** The hotel staff at JW Hotel Beijing is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout our stay, which we greatly appreciated. However, we booked this hotel expecting a high-end experience similar to what we've enjoyed at other JW locations in the U.S. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly marred by the large number of low-level tour groups that the hotel accommodates. The lobby and elevator areas were often noisy and filled with guests demonstrating inconsiderate behavior. This atmosphere detracted from the exclusive and luxurious experience we anticipated, making it feel more like a low-cost hotel. If you're seeking an exclusive and serene experience, this may not be the best choice. Based on our experience, we will not book here again in the future.
great
Excellent location, next to a subway station which is convenient
The location is perfect
Amos Li is very professional. Responsive. Made my room scheduling smooth. Highly endorse this personnel.
Good rooms but lacks a bar and dining options
No bar !
Spacious and it is convenient as it is near a mall with subway.
Wonderful
Everything perfect - from room, to amenities to staff. Would love to see all major hotel chains in China take a great lead on sustainability. Having bottled water in my room was a great health benefit, I would have loved seeing fewer, larger bottles.
Conveniently located and staff were professional
good
Good location, comfortable hotel.
Will be back!
Location and service are great especially in winter!
Room was clean and good.
There was a wad of gum stuck on the windowsill outside my room for my entire stay. The smell of the gum was very strong in the hallway, although sweet and nice, I knew it was from the wad of gum so it was a bit disgusting. Just surprised no one removed it.
quiet neighbourhood. great food choices around the hoitel
Insect in shower room
The room condition is fine but just the shower room is terrible! There was an insect coming out from the shower drain at both night during my shower!! Terrible experience and definitely won’t stay in this hotel again.
Business trip
I had requested a king bed and got a room with two doubles - they had no alternatives.
The hotel was a great place to stay and staff were very helpful in order to cater for all our needs. It has a fantastic beer garden and a more secluded lounge bar which offers great cocktails. Would certainly stay there again and highly recommend.
A very pleasant and good service hotel. Reception check in is fast and efficient
Location to customer offices and proximity to the airport
Never seen such a wonderful managed professionals. They have superb staff and amenities and the best part is the view from my room.
Great executive lounge
Executive lounge is the best I have been in while traveling APAC wide frequently. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful and service is great. Definitely recommend executive floor when staying here.
Cleaning and nice warm room
"The Best Hotel" in Beijing.
Great Service - from check-in through check-out. The breakfast has a wide range of selections. I especially like their special Zhou (rice-soup), which change daily, and the made-to-order Omelet station. The "motto" of the hotel is to make their hotel "Home away from Home" for the guests. If you go to the Executive Lounge you will find they really mean it by offering courteous service and homey ambient. (Actually, I don't get service like this at home.) There is a Mall (Hua-Mao) right outside the hotel. I did not do shopping there but use the restaurants in the basement. The Mall also connected to a near-by Metro Station (Da-Wang-Lu/DA-Wang Road) with Line 1 take you to Forbidden City (Tiananmen SQ) and Line 14 takes you to Beijing South Railroad Station connecting you to other cities through high-speed rail. Next time, if you plan to stay in East side of Beijing, JW Marriott Beijing is a great choice. (Notice that there are multiple JW Marriott in the area.)
Disappointed
Pluses: in a shopping area; close to CBD for meetings; getting taxi is relatively easy; friendly staff. Minus: room smells of pollution (lead, metal,?); breakfast is a D-; traffic isn't better than CBD;
Amazing hotel and staff. Great location, across the street from a shopping center (with everything you could possibly need) and subway stop.
Everything was fine but the towels are not a five star hotel
One of the nicest Hotels I stay at in China
Service and attentiveness of the Exec lounge staff is superb!! I'[ve been staying there, on and off, for several years and the evening happy hour food has consistently improved. Breakfasts are complete with plenty of choices. They didn't have bananas one morning and I asked, and Gina went to the main restaurant and got me two, and everyday thereafter, she brought me several in a bag!!! And they have cinnamon for my morning coffee or capacino!
Old towels, dirty room - JW?
Seriously, for a JW Marriott, you guys need to have newer towels and vacuum better the carpet in the room. The floor (carpet) has left over food bits and the towels and the bath robe are frayed at the end and old. I asked the housekeeping lady and she said many guests have complained about this. I know it is a business and you need to turn a profit. BUT you are compromising the brand name!!! I could have stayed next door at the Ritz and pay a bit more, which I do not mind. Pls improve! Also the walls are thin!
Loved the location and restaurants nearby
I really like the location of the hotel. There are a few malls nearby. My favourite restaurants such as Da Dong and Wang Jia Du are close by too. A taxi driver told us traffic is usually bad in the area though.
Excellent!
Hotel was able to accept my requests.
Very impressed
I'm a recent Marriott user/member and I'm very impressed...used you in three China cities in a row.
Fun Trip
Excellent staff and hotel. Group of 6 with kids. Great breakfast included. Special thanks to Declan concierge. Very friendly., knowledgeable and professional. I'll remain a Marriott member. Jose Dominicano
Great hotel
Close all sights, not walking distance but very. convenient by taxi (20 rmb) each way to all major sights and markets. Hotel staff super nice and very helpful. Buffet amazing. Shopping, starbucks, all in walking distance. Visited in july with wife and 8 yr old. Perfect vacation. Pool is very nice.
Great hotel in a good location!
Executive lounge...........superb!! Lana, the Exec Lounge manager is outstanding. She is personable, always willing to help, and does a fantastic job of training and managing her people. I found Mona, Effie, and Dave to be incredibly accommodating and helpful. Was there on business and had a birthday, which was marvelously celebrated by the Exec Lounge staff..........birthday card, signed by the staff, ...................a surprise birthday cake, in the evening,...................and the traditional Chinese long noodle birthday soup. I was very surprised and most touched. Made being away from home on my birthday very special!
Great for business travellers and well located in central Beijing. Also has nice rooms
nice location and friendly stuff
overall this is a valuable hotel Very friendly and helpful stuff Wonderful Spa, especially a therapist named Adu
Nice hotel close to Bell Tower
Very nice staff with plenty of English speakers to meet all of our needs. Walking distance to all the major sites in the city.
Air Purified Hotel
There was a horrifying air pollution over 450 on the day I stayed at this hotel, but luckily this entire air condition of the hotel is air purified and glad I made a right choice. The bed mattress was perfect and had a great sleep.
Beijing
My only complaint is the room was not cleaned one day I stayed there and I did not have fresh towels.
The other JW Marriott
Most people know of the more centrally located JW Marriott, but this location may be better. Taxi rides are cheap, and you have direct access to the ring roads at this hotel. The hotel is quite, so dont fear traffic noise. The hotel has Ritz Carlton and another hotel located next door. These hotels are laid to form a plaza with high end shopping. There are several walkable resturaunt locations here. While this JW marriott is gear towards bussiness people, it is fine for all older guest. There are no "kids" type of things around, so i wouldnt recomend using this hotel for young families. The hotel is clean, and appears to be less than 5 years old. The buffet for breakfast (extra cost) has a wide selection of asian and western dishes and is of good quality and decent flavor. The hotel staff are friendly and curtious, and willing to help, but have limited english skills. (Just enough for most westerners) Overall, I was happy with my stay, and would stay again in a heartbeat.
Good near the malls
The hotel staff is unprofessional they needed chinese ID card to check in which i dont have this is ridiculous
Nice hotel with everything
Nice for both business and family. I like the Gym with indoor swimming pool.
Very nice hotel
Really enjoyed, all the staff were very friendly, room was great and all facilities were nice too
Outstanding "Excellent"
I just stayed at at this amazing hotel with my family for 5 days and we'll all I can say is..... It was the best stay ever!!!! Located nearby Subway and easy to access the heritage! Walking distance to the shopping mall! The staff were lovely since day one and up till the minute we walked out the door. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in Beijing, thank you JW hotel, good location, delicious breakfast, fresh bitter melon juice, very helpful staff. Would definitely return here.
Great stay, much improved quality of service/food
Good, comfortable stay. Great service and food quality has improved a lot. Morning breakfast staff a bit over worked and rushing... but otherwise, great hotel and will come back.
Quiet location close to shopping and subway
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - they made our stay very special.
Oasis in Beijing
Very nice hotel in the heart of CBD. It's walking distance to the subway and several malls. The rooms are spacious, clean , and well decorated. The beds super comfortable and soft. The bathroom has a big shower and bathtub. There's even a TV so you can watch while you soak. We could not find one single thing to complain about. If we are back in CBD we would definitely stay here again!
Nice hotel close to downtown and to the subway
Vary nice hotel it is vary close to the subway and the down town and it is close to the forbidden city
Staff and amenities do not feel like 5 star hotel
Good location and comfortable enough, but staff was not very friendly, did not offer to show you to the elevator after check in, many did not seem to speak English well, etc.
Nice hotel - good price
Nice hotel at a nice price.
4 days stay at JW Marriot
Great hotel with fantastic amenities. Location is near to mrt station.
Will come back
Good hotel and good stay....will come back
good front desk and room services. The reception of buffet canteen was not helpful.
Smart, convenient business hotel
JW Marriott is very convenient for anyone staying in Middle Chaoyang/CBD. It's very convenient to the China Central Mall and SPK, which have extensive food and shopping selections. Easy to get in and out to the airport as well. Better for business than for sightseeing. Gym and pool are well equipped.
Beijing
It was OK.
Uncomfortable feeling
The front desk did not tell us that our booking did not include the breakfast. We thought that they treated us special so that we had special free breakfast. After we enjoyed the breakfast , the hotel charged us RMB$ 501. We felt that we were cheated because the way the front desk told us seemed that we had free breakfast
Easy to the airport and business district
It's one of the better five star hotels in Beijing but not the best. If you need to be in this part of Chaoyang there is no substitute though.
Great business hotel
It is in a great location and is 15 minutes to BDA where my company is. It is also a comfortable hotel with great food and wonderful helpful staff.
It is below expectation
Some facilities are surprisingly out-to-date. The services also not align with 5 stars standards. No one helped to carry the luggages to guest room, etc.
smoking anywhere in a hotel is a complete negative
great other than the smoking.
Nice hotel for business
Good stay. What you expect from a business hotel.
Good business hotel - great rooms
Enjoyed the rooms and location right next to a great Mall. Service staff were very good and helpful.
Nice Hotel
It was my first time to stay at JW Marriott in Beijing. The room and service is very good. However, the check - in was a bit slow. Other than that, everything was just perfect.
Pillow
The pillow is too soft perhaps the hotel can provide combined pillow, soft and hard
Good supply of drinking water. Neat and tidy. The Lobby Manager offered efficient assistance to our need and questions.
Everything fantastic. One of top Marriott brand hotels in the city. Except tv channel options are poor.
服務好、環境好
支払い時に円払いを伝えたがドル払にとなっていた
很周到的服务。房间不是很大,也稍显陈旧。
酒店地理位置很好
