aaaamazing!! the fact that it used to be a convent is in itself a marvel. it is simply oozing in history but they have made it so modern as well that the atmosphere is just so cozy, comfortable and super fine. the decor is magnificent, and really makes an impression. their courtyard in the center is also so picturesque. the staff are effective and accomodating, check in a breeze and they are quick to make arrangements for u if you ask. the free breakfast selection was simply a wow with like 3 or 4 tables and they gave us free pisco sour drinks daily from the ultra modern bar since i have expedia's vip access. we ended having an incan wall for a window view (floor to ceiling window with floor to ceiling incan wall lol) but they waived a fee as compensation. the room is still very luxurious with marble tops and all you can think of. the A/C is strong as well as the shower head stream. the hotel is inside the historic center and is surrounded by other hotels, stores and restos so souvenir shopping and superb dining is right at your fingertips. we actually cancelled our tour to moray just so we can just continue shopping and dining lol and it felt safe even when we went out at 10pm to get food. the walk to plaza de armas is also jus minutes.

Beyond amazin

Everything was beyond amazing

The staff did try hard, but there was a massive lack of communication. We confirmed 2 weeks prior for a car service to get us from the airport, and that never showed. After waiting 30 minutes (after flying for 8 hours) we opted to take a taxi. When we got to the hotel, it was beautiful and everyone tries hard, but it just wasn't great. When we got to our room, I asked the person where the safe was and they looked around the whole room and didn't find it so said they could bring one up - they never did, but we did find one under the TV. It took four times asking and over an hour to get a bucket of ice up to our room. It took three times asking to make sure we were able to get a ride back to the airport when leaving. At breakfast, after sitting down and getting our coffee, when we went up to get the buffet, someone cleared our entire table. They were diligent! It took another 15 minutes to get coffee again, not a huge problem but annoying for sure. After that we tried to stagger one of us going up for food at a time but even then they would clear the whole place setting and not replace the silverware. We were given coupons to use for the spa but they only accepted one even though we had two people doing two different services. I don't know why they would give us six coupons but only let you use one. Lots of little first world inconveniences and communication errors. For the money, we will not go back there.

We loved this property and stayed twice during our visit to Cusco. The front desk staff and concierge are very helpful and accommodating. My only complaint is that they don't cater to gluten-free visitors. We tried to eat in the bar, and the only option was a salad and the server had to check to see if anything was gluten-free. Unlike many other breakfast buffets worldwide, their items weren't marked if they contained gluten. Despite all of that, we would highly recommend this property.

This hotel is gorgeous! All areas are beautiful and the service is the best I ever found in a hotel (and I've been in many). They come in person to your room everyday to see if you need anything. The area is in the very center of Cusco. Strongly recommend

Really lovely hotel in the ♡ of Cusco. Easy to walk to many of the main tourist destinations. Staff were courteous and helpful. Some great free experiences, eg pisco sour making. Food in restaurant delicious. All the amenities and services you’d expect from this level of hotel. They were super helpful with early morning breakfasts for trail trips and luggage storage.

This is a Dream Hotel. Staff is FABULOUS. It is in a great location and very safe. Luxury at its finest. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and will stay here again in the future - 100% PERFECT Choice!!!

The hotel was beautiful! The service was excellent. I got sick and the paramedics of the hotel and the staff were very helpful and very concerned about me. This location was very central but quite in a very good location. The breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend it!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff very friendly. The resident alpaca Ponchita was a lovely element and the added oxygen in our rooms a qonderful assist for acclimitization (in addition to the plentiful aetisanal coca tea of course). The breakfast was great but I would have liked to see a bit more variety with the restaurant menu. The complimentary pisco sours was a very nice touch.

Amazing experience

The service at this hotel is world class and probably one of the best on the planet. The service was personalized and in particular, the paramedics were readily available to help my sick son. Thanks to the staff for making our stay memorable.

The JWM is a stunning property. The rooms are nicely appointed & the staff were friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was good. We had one issue with the AC/Heat thermostat. At night when the temperature dropped, the heat took hours to warm up the room. The touch of the vents felt slightly warm not hot. But this matter is of no reflection on the staff, they were great, this is an engineering issue, had a similar heating issue with another Marriott in Lima.

This is a fabulous property, maybe the best I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen a few. VERY. courteous and helpful staff. Great location to walk around. And an absolutely beautiful and unique building in a former monastery. The courtyard was open, friendly and peaceful, I did my morning coffee and afternoon tea there. I can’t say enough nice things, if I ever come back to Cusco, I’ll definitely stay here.

I could not be more impressed with this hotel. I chose JW Marriot in Cusco to celebrate my successful proposal with my now fiance. This hotel absolutely blew our minds and surpassed any expectation we had for hotels! I now have a new standard for what a hotel should be. The property is perfect, it's so clean I would have no trouble eating off the floor and our room was fantastic. The spa is beautiful, the food was excellent and the drinks were superb. All that being said, the absolute best part of our stay here was the staff. Every single person we interacted with were kind, attentive, and went far above and beyond what we would expect from them. They seemed genuinely happy to do their job and i cannot praise the staff enough for makimg our celebration so wonderful and special. We will never forget our stay at this hotel. The only thing that we were a little sad about was that the massage staff was booked out through the weekend so we were not able to secure an appointment for a deep tissue massage after our grueling 8 day hike through the Andes. I suppose that might be because they are also great at their jobs like the rest of the staff. Thank you soooo much for an experience we will never forget!!

This is a true 5* hotel with perfect oxygenated (!!) rooms, amenities and service. The room is super comfortable, great breakfast buffet as well. Service includes bringing oxygen to your room in a ballon if you need it. Definitely The Best!

This hotel is excellent! From check in until checkout, the staff was the most curtious, friendly, helpful staff I have ever encountered. Always greeting us with a smile and kind word. The room was spacious and beds extremely comfortable. Fun bar and great breakfast buffet. They can arrange local travel too. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect property, location, service and staff, in one of the most gorgeous and unique cities in the world.

We stayed here for 7 days and had an amazing experience with the hotel staff and hotel facility.

This hotel has it all. The building itself is just WOW! Full of details and history. The cleanliness is superb. Comfort of the bed is beyond our expectations. The spa and pool area is a place where you can relax. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, ambiance is great and the food is delicious. I would go back to Cusco just to stay in this hotel.

This is a gorgeous hotel located very centrally and conveniently in Cusco. The spa was wonderful and the breakfast buffet really tasty. The staff were really kind and helped with lots of advice. The price is high, yes, but you do receive a luxury experience.

It might easily be the best hotel in Cusco.

Sublime luxury in a world of disappointing hotels in cusco.

1. Long wait during check out. 2. Nobody is helping on carrying luggage while waiting for check in. 3. The picture on website for delux room is misleading. It shows a garden view, but turns out to be a white wall view.

Wonderful stay

Kelly the young woman who works with her little alpaca baby Pancetta on the property, is such a nice encounter. She made our experience memorable in this gorgeous place. Please keep her and let all the tourists live such a beautiful experience.

A 5-Star Hotel That Lives Up To Its Name

This hotel took my breath away. I've traveled quite a bit in my life and stayed at a lot of 5-star hotels but this one stands out from the crowd. The entrance is GORGEOUS and eye-opening. The reception desk has the most incredible backdrop (pictured). The ambiance, the smell, the customer service... all of it hits you at once and you immediately feel like you're at home. My father and I stayed here for 3 days / 2 nights because I had read endless amazing reviews of this place. It did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, it exceeded expectations if that's even possible. The entire staff had a permanent smile and at every corner someone greeted us by our last name. That's how much they made it personal for us. The restaurant staff really stood out, especially Ruth who is a VERY sweet and thoughtful host / waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared to know how our stay was going and how our unforgettable trip to Machu Picchu was. She's the highlight of the staff in my opinion. The last morning we were there, in the courtyard, the hotel brought a local woman with her alpaca to give the vibe an even more authentic experience. (pictured) I can't say enough great things about this place and I highly recommend you stay here when you visit Cuzco. It was a 5-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas and there are plenty of places to eat and shop within seconds of the hotel entrance.

This property is amazing. Everyone was very helpful and polite. The location is great near Plaza de armas. Lots of restaurants around. We had breakfast included, so the days we had early tours and the breakfast buffet was not yet open, they set up a to go lunch bag for us, but you have to let them know the night before. Do the tour of the hotel, you will not regret if history is something you are interested in. Just make sure to let them know you want to do it. If I go back to Cusco definitely would stay here.
