Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, lovely modern rooms and a delicious restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott! The staff were very accommodating and there were so many luxury amenities and services. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Edmonton!

The gym at this hotel is incredible!! Rooms are spacious, location is prime. Enjoyable property.

Overpriced unless you're there for the location

For how expensive the room was I would of hoped for better. Bed wasn't that comfortable and toilet paper quality was cheaper then a gas station bathroom. If you're there for the location only, yes its good, but for a non event night, I was not impressed. However, food at Braven was excellent and valet for heated underground parking is appreciated.

Hotel was beautiful with so many things to do without leaving the building. The Gym was amazing, the restaurants were fantastic and the service was impeccable.

We came for a hockey game so the location was magnificent! Check in was great and the lobby had a fun atmosphere. Valet service was great but the drop off location needs to be addressed. We sat in the street blocking road for at least 10 minutes waiting to get in the round about. There is several restaurants and bars within walking distance and open after the game. The lobby bar/restaurant had a great atmosphere also.

700/night and no parking

On site parking wouldn’t allow me to park in vallet as I had a skip tank in the box of my truck , had to pay 50 dollars a day 3 blocks away

This hotel was amazing, especially if you’re an NHL hockey fan. The restaurant Braven was incredible. The staff was so attentive, and the food was out of this world. From the time we checked in at the front desk to the moment, we left in our taxi to the airport we felt at home.

Liked the location of the hotel to the Roger's Place as with the cold weather we didn't have to venture outside to make our way to the event. We did find it a surprise that the wifi was a pay for service. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was the first time payment was required. Feel you need to re-think the charge. Will probably stay in neighbor hotel next stay.

Self parking is cumbersome to achieve. Valet parkin $50 which seems a little high

We were going to a hockey game at Roger’s Place so it was very convenient. We could walk from our hotel room to the arena without going outside.

Guy was rude at vallet, and wait lines to be checked in was 15 min+

Check in wa very busy, but the staffed handled the crowd well.

Stay was good we just did not get our room cleaned/refilled with towels or coffee the 3 days we were there.There is valet parking but it is not mentioned that it cost the whole time you are there, not even at check in. Not sure why the price needs to go up on Dec 31, when there is nothing else different from the other days we were there

Stream lined process from valet parking to check in.

We’ve stayed at multiple Marriott’s and this one is our favourite so far! We went as a staycation and combined our anniversary and my birthday at the same time and they treated us so amazingly! They allowed us to upgrade our room too. Would recommend this location to anyone. Shout out to Girly at the front desk! Thanks for everything!

Even with the crowds from an oilers home game the staff were doing an amazing job in both the hotel side and restaurant/lounge areas. Wonderful stay.

This is a convenient hotel to stay at when attending an event at Edmonton Rogers Place. Overall, the service and facilities are good. Drink prices are excessively high (e.g. $25 for one glass of wine). Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again if attending an event at Rogers Place.

Our stay was incredible and made memorable by the hotel staff. They went above and beyond for our family to ensure we had the best. Our accommodation requests were met and Gomez and Shan left us with an anniversary bottle of wine to help us celebrate. Added bonus: the elevators were quick to accommodate the long line of people after the concert :)

We love the JW, our wedding reception was here — it’s always a favourite.

The hotel itself is very nice and cozy. Too many homeless around when you go outside, not safe to walk out late tho. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced, had two wonderful sleep and the swimming pool is clean and stunning. Overall wonderful experience.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are not staying there for an event(concert etc). On both nights of my stay, the lobby was crowded - not just busy. There were people everywhere and it was hard to move through the lobby. The elevators had waiting lines!! It was insane. The room was okay. Nothing fancy. It was clean. The gym is great - really the best thing about the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and kind, amenities were top notch, and the location was great for the purposes of our trip. Would certainly stay here again.

Amazing service and perfect for the UFC as it’s connected to the Rogers Place Arena, best hotel in Edmonton hands down & lots of amenities.

This is a five star property, right next to the arena, staff was excellent room was spotless.

It was close to Roger’s place you didn’t have to go outside everything was convenient.

Great stay 5 star property staff was excellent. The gym and pool area was excellent. Other than the homeless and drug people outside the property was a great stay. The hotel has no power on the outside that’s the cities job to clean that up and put them somewhere else.

Nice location for going to the arena but the beds and pillows are horrible. For how much you pay you would think the beds and pillows would be amazing but nope. I have better sleep at a cheaper hotels down the block. I’m 5’1” and the bed height is below my knees, the mattress is like laying on boards and rocks. The pillows are so soft that they don’t hold your head just sinks right down to the mattress.

my reservation was incorrect when i arrived the hotel had the wrong dates and now i have been double billed for the same stay.

I thought everything was over priced and I realized that we were there for CFR however many people I talked to were of the opinion they got gouged example 2 coffees in lounge area was $10:15 more expensive than StarBucks,$50:00 per night for valet service than one gives another $20:00 tip for the Bell Man coming and going all adds up! Staff was very friendly and helpful I might also add that the Marriott tried to charge me in US dollars which would have cost my wife and I almost another $500:00 CDN for 2 nights so I used a 3rd party which we should never have to do as Marriott Members. Rooms were good and they were clean.We do not travel as much as we used too but it’s clear we need to check your price prior to booking room s with the Merriott.

Ilike the property is nice and clean. Dislike very loud music at the outside of the hotel can’t sleep last night:(

The gym is unreal and if space is available you can participate in fitness classes as well as yoga. We ate at brazen as well as played cards with cocktails in the lobby. We had plans change and where glad we had stayed at the JW Marriott as our trip to the city was salvaged by exceptional amenities and dinning.

It was everything i had hoped!
