Very relaxing stay. Great property with even greater service
Exceptional on every level!
Incredible location for a couples getaway.
The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Beautiful place.
Beautiful place with great views. There is a convenience store on site with some good snack options and two restaurants. One restaurant was closed which limited food choices and the other place required table reservations for dinner and charged for cancellation. The cancellation charge was a bummer and the menu was very small.
A Tranquil Oasis at Juniper Preserve! I recently spent a weekend at Juniper Preserve for a much-needed escape from the city, and it exceeded all my expectations. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm smiles from the staff, making us feel right at home. Our accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. The room was beautifully designed with natural wood accents, offering a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The amenities at Juniper Preserve are top-notch. We took full advantage of the outdoor activities. The onsite spa was a perfect way to unwind; I highly recommend the deep tissue massage! Dining at the restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The menu featured locally sourced ingredients, and each dish was delicious. Don’t miss the signature cocktails at the bar—they were refreshing and creative! The location is ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in nature while still having access to modern comforts. We explored nearby attractions and appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Overall, our experience at Juniper Preserve was wonderful, and we left feeling rejuvenated. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway.
Salt water pool was fantastic.
The facility was good . I didn’t like that there’s no food vending machine or their supermarket closes early since the property is too far from the down town or any stores.
Everything was very nice
Great experience
amazing!!!!
We were so excited to stay at Juniper Preserve after golfing there last year. We were disappointed to find there was only one restaurant (the grill) open and half of the staff was let go for the season. They were severely understaffed and it did not go unnoticed. No pool side service, the barista stand/bar did not have consistent hours. Sometimes they were there and sometimes not. With grounds so far outside of town (30 minutes) it would have been nice to know prior to booking. With that being said, the staff was still friendly and the grill was great. Hopefully they will be built up a little more in the future.
Beautiful and relaxing!!
I booked this hotel for my birthday and I paid more than $350 a night for a junior king suite with a balcony. But when we checked in on Saturday they gave us a small room right next to the front desk and the boiler room , not the room I booked, people were sitting on our porch all day and night right next to our window we couldn’t even open the drapes as the hotel had couches and fire pit immediately next to the room window were people will sit and eat and talk. I wanted a nice getaway for my birthday weekend but I got dumped in the worst room possible at the property , when I tried to change the room they said that they were sold out. If they didn’t have the room I paid for they should’ve give me the rate for that room which was about half what I paid . THAT WAS NOT WHAT I BOOKED!!!! THAT WAS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR!!!
I really enjoyed my stay at Juniper Preserve! I stayed for three nights and had delicious meals at the onsite trailhead grill restaurant. The adult only salt water pool was perfect for lounging in the sun and enjoying cocktails from the bar. The Nicklaus golf course was spectacular and challenging; it is an absolute must play if you choose to stay here. Bring snacks because there are limited late night options. Safeway is about a 20 minute drive away and closes at midnight if you need to make a late night run. The staff were so friendly and approachable. I will definitely return!
One of the nicest resorts I have ever stayed at, my wife and I can't wait to go back
Scenically speaking, it’s beautiful!
We had a wonderful stay! No complaints what so ever. We hope to visit again soon. Thnak you to the lovely staff as well
Lovely stay! The facilities were great. My only suggestion is improvement on food options in their dining and small cafe areas - it was somewhat limited for being more in a remote area. However we enjoyed our stay!
Just a relaxing and gorgeous resort. Food options are limited if you are staying more than a few days. Basically just one restaurant.
It is a beautiful property and golf facility. The staff was super friendly and welcoming everywhere I went. The room was comfortable. All around awesome place. Will return.
This is a gated community with a really nice golf course. When you enter the gate, you are stopped and greeted and asked your name. It seems as though they then patiently await your arrival at the hotel as we were greeted smile, and that was something unique.
The property reminded us of staying at the Inn in the movie “the shining”. Aside from golf, it was basically dead. Very few people around and everything was closed or locked up. They either need to become a real resort or just sell the lodge as condos.
Empty wine bottle left in room upon arrival. Room was not serviced after first night, had to request fresh towels after hot day in desert conditions. Food at Grill very unusual.
I just loved everything about this property. I’m just sad I only stayed one night on a road trip. I’m definitely coming back!
Property was excellent and so were the staff !
Would give even more stars if possible
Amazing place, serene, pretty view. Comfortable and lovely outdoor seats, great restaurants on site Thank you, Juniper staff!
Staff members were very accommodating! Facilities clean & well maintained.
Excellent place staff was wonderful
Beautiful
unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this stay. The Resort is beautiful and is in a great location. But they don't allow you to check in early which was a bummer since we went here for a wedding and they didn't have a fridge in the room which was a problem for a breastfeeding mother.
Everything closes so early :( couldn’t get a drink at the turn for golf, couldn’t get a drink at the bar, here with friends and had very little to do after golf
Beautiful. Tranquil and peaceful. Location and desert and the stars are beautiful.
A bit of a drive…. But worth it
This is the third time I have stayed at Pronghorn/Juniper Preserve and it gets better every time. Everyone is so friendly. The rooms are spacious with beautiful views and great beds!
So relaxing and serene. Definitely a place that makes you take a step back and self-care.
We highly recommend a stay at the Juniper Preserve! The property is stunning. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Hidden Gem
A little bit off the beaten path, this resort is beautiful and the service is fantastic. We arrived with a last minute reservation but the deal was all ready for us. Spacious rooms, great restaurant.
Stunning resort, Gorgeous salt water pool, Beautiful views, great golf Course, although we didn’t play golf, has a nice spa and is rebranding to emphasize that, pickleball and work out facilities. Just a lucky find! I would definitely stay here again.
Nice property. Poor dining options. Hit or miss staff.
Great experience. My only critique was no microwave or fridge. Other than that I had the best night sleep. Definitely geared towards the older crowd. Also very secluded which I liked.
Loved our stay, large rooms, comfortable bed, nicely decorated. Strong shower ! Brad Gahanna, Ohio
Property was pretty, staff at the hotel lobby bar and at the restaurant were amazing. Lady at the front desk could have been more friendly. Surprised that such a high end place does not offer room service. Love that our furry friends are allowed.
Hidden Gem in Bend Oregon
One night stay, wish we had stayed there longer. Room was impressive, with super high end bed, very clean and large bathroom with a full size shower. Resort was fabulous, scenic views, golf courses, and the pools had tons of shade and salt water.
spent our 5 year anniversary here, what an absolute dream. such a relaxing atmosphere. we loved every minute of our stay, will definitely be back!!
Beautiful landscapes and interior
Amazing location
Amazing location
Front desk lady provided horrible customer service.
It felt like a private getaway
Resort is absolutely gorgeous
The upgrade for $150 a night includes a breakfast lesser than a Motel 6's. Getting an appointment with the spa took forever. Happy hour at the lounge never happened.
Gorgeous resort inside and out
The facilities are outstanding. Golf course is pro like course with amazing views. The restaurant, pool, pickleball courts, spa, and workout rooms are amazing as well. Room is verify spacious and clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Amazing property and golf.
Beautiful and wonderful views
golf facilities were great and facilities were very high quality and clean
Amazing!
It was our first time there and it was amazing. We are definitely coming back next year! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and anyone in particular!
My partner and I loved staying here and had a great weekend. Staff were very helpful with anything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great and our couples massage was stellar. Will be back!
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The staff was very frienly and accommodating. The heated pool and hot tub were nice for the cold evening.
Beautiful lodge in a beautiful setting!
Great experience! Loved the property
A fabulous resort!
Fabulous service! Joseph welcomed us right away and accommodated us with a heated salt pool and hot tubs! Wonderful staff, fantastic building, excellent food and a fabulous stay!
It’s a beautiful property, but at this time of year most of the amenities were closed, but you will still be charged the resort fee. There was one restaurant open for service, the workout room and the outside spa.
Info on web was lacking and a little confusing. Juna at front desk was exceptionally helpful getting us reservations for dinner and upgraded our accommodations. She was great!
Christmas at Juniper
Juniper has an incredible staff. The staff really made our stay. We loved the spa technicians and the restaurant staff. The spa is pricey in comparison to other services in Bend but they are talented and I felt that the purchased services were worth what we paid. I would probably not return to the spa, but mainly because of the price, unrelated to the services. The entire staff treated us like family. very thoughtful and considerate and kind. Evident that the staff loves working at Juniper. We ran into the hotel manager a few times and he treated his staff with respect and kindness. This is a really special place. The resort is lovely, a ways out of Bend, and far off major roads. Mostly quiet, though the linked rooms do not have a lot of privacy in regards to sound. Our neighbor let his alarm go off for over an hour, which woke us and was largely irritating. Otherwise we loved our room, the fireplace was wonderful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise with coffee from the hotel in the mornings. Thoughtful holiday decor and family activities, which we did not participate in but we did enjoy the homemade holiday cookies. Good food. The pool and hot tub are heated year round and are salt water. I would have liked to see more biodegradable and eco friendly products throughout the hotel, not a deal breaker just behind the times. Loved our stay, we would return in a heart beat. Again, the staff is amazing and truly made our stay very special. The perfect way to spend our holiday.
Every thing is
The area is so beautiful being in the high desert. I felt very secluded though from Bend.
Will definitely return
Stay and property were great, staff very friendly and attentive. Put in at least a level 2 EV charger
There was a golf convention during our stay and the player in the pool area were very rowdy and rude.
We highly recommend saving $ by getting an Airbnb in Bend unless you love golf. Juniper Preserve (JP) is 30-60 minutes away from ALL activities. Typically, in a resort stay, that wouldn't be a problem; however, JP far oversells what they offer. 1) The website lists 4 restaurants. In reality, there is ONE overpriced restaurant & 1 small coffee bar. The menu is the same for lunch, dinner, & poolside. 2) The resort lacks a policy regarding inappropriate guests. The sole activity is a salt water pool with a jacuzzi. We would have spent more time there, but two other guests relentlessly followed us from pool to hot tub to pool, touched us underwater, & were so creepy in what they said/how they looked at us that we were forced to leave the pool area multiple times. At other locations we have stayed, staff keep an eye out & blacklist inappropriate guests. 3) JP advertises feeding 2 swans on the property as an activity both online & on brochures. We went on an evening walk that looped around the pond w/o any data indicating that could be a bad choice. We ended up being attacked by the male swan, which is objectively hilarious, but was truly scary. There was ONE sign on 600 acres saying swans were not to be fed due to nesting season. Why not tell guests that info at check-in? 4) The spa seemed incredible. We will never know b/c there was only ONE - fully booked - masseuse available for a 3-day weekend. We write this in hopes of helping you save $, stay safe, & have fun in Bend.
Beautiful resort
Gorgeous property. Rooms were spacious, well equipped, comfortable bed, balcony overlooking pool and gold course was delightful. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our stay was cut short, which the staff was very understanding of, but we are already thinking about when we can go back and check out their full accommodations.
Thank you for your excellent hospitality!! The property is beautiful and everyone is so friendly and helpful
We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and the room was clean and overlooked the pool with a gorgeous view of the mountains. It is remote but worth the 25 min drive into town if you choose to venture out. We rented bikes from them and had a great morning bike ride through the property. We would definitely stay again .
Beautiful surroundings, nice facility. Lacking in customer service. Food at restaurant grill was awful, dry chicken, salad dry with no dressing. Very limited menu. Valet was a joke, they never answered the phone once. We were there for two nights and had to go down to get our car every time we called because they never answered even after 5 calls. No one ever answered the phone at front desk either, over the course of two days, we had to go down and get the luggage cart the day we left. We only had bath towels, no washcloths or hand towels. No soap to wash face. There were strippers who were photographing themselves naked off the balcony of their room at the resort when we were in the hot tub and other guests in the hot tub said they had been at the restaurant to meet Johns who had flown in on a private jet. They came down in their thong bikinis to the hot tub after their appointments. Also, resort is quite far from Bend and signage and directions to resort are severely lacking. Definitely NOT worth the price we paid. Stay away!!!
The rooms have no tables to feed your family and no microwave, the rooms look like motel 6
The rooms are vary small for the cost and have paper thin walls so you can hear everything going on next door. plumbing and ac make horrid noises randomly in the middle night which will keep you up throughout the night. Unfortunately we will never be staying there again.
Beautiful Property
I made a reservation for the Deluxe room and was given the standard room. Had I not needed the extra sleeping accommodation of the couch we would have been fine with a refund for the difference. I was disappointed because I was never called or given a heads up that they were booked. This gave me no other option but to take the room as everything in the area was booked. What I will say is the staff was absolutely professional and empathetic to my situation. Luckily my second night they put me in the correct room. I still have not received any compensation for the mixup but it’s only been a day since checkout. Also for charging a premium due to summer rates you would think they would keep the children’s pool open after 8pm. Staff A++
Outlets in bathroom didn’t work Maintenance came by without said he couldn’t fix because he couldn’t get into to next room We were told upon arrival if we needed a ride we could call front desk or at the front desk at no charge. July 4 we needed a ride from a residence at pronghorn and were charged !!
Love this place. However, they closed the kids pool for maintenance. Not ok when I specifically asked if it was open when I booked.
Beautiful! Property could use more signage so guest could find their way around better. The hiking/bike path was very hard to find and no signs at all. ProShop also very hard to find. But the property was beautiful and the course was amazing. Would stay again.
Juniper Preserve is wonderful for a quiet, luxurious getaway! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our coffee on our deck facing the mountains in the morning and the pool and hot tub during sunset. As long as you don’t mind a 25-minute drive from Bend, it’s totally worth a stay!
Unexpected
What a beautiful place. So unexpected. Would definitely stay here again!
This is one of the nicest places I have stayed at in Oregon. I shared with all of my friends how nice it is and cannot wait to go back!
Great experience at the properly. They had a small hiccup with our accommodation but they handled it more than gracefully giving us the best experience they could by accommodating us in new upgraded rooms
This property is great but it is far away from town. It was quiet, clean and very relaxing. All of the staff were very helpful and super nice. There was a fire a couple weeks before we went that left one of the restaurants closed and the golf scooters we wanted to use were also unavailable for to the fire. So the food options were minimal but the manager at the restaurant that was open was amazing!
A different experience. Outside the norm. Refreshing
We truly enjoyed our stay. Pronghorn holds a special place in our hearts.
The friendly service throughout this facility was excellent. They recently had a fire in the golf pro shop which affected the restaurant so the only negative is the limited food service. They are doing the best they can with the unfortunate situation. Can’t wait to revisit!
Happy as a clam at high tide
My wife and I loved the staff from the entry gate gentleman and the bell hop to the reception staff, everyone was truly a pleasure. The facilities were superb. The beautiful pool and spa and the large fire pit was enjoyed immensely. The views of Three Sisters Mountain peaks breath taking. The Golf Course challenging and manicured. We are returning next year. Highly recommended by us.
This was our first time here at the Juniper Resort and it went amazing. They have so many activities and things to do at the resort. Super clean and so beautiful! The horse back riding was the best!! Such a great experience. Definitely recommend to everyone!!
Awesome… can’t wait to go back!
Nice resort
Very comfortable room. Friendly staff. Restaurant overpriced. Beautiful grounds.
Beautiful property! Wish we would have had time for an extended stay. Staff was wonder!
Must Stay
