The hotel is good for its price but the surrounding is not pedestrian-friendly

The hot water heater was not working and needed a couple of staff to fix it. The basin tap was faulty and splashed water on your clothes when you turned on the tap. The hotel didn't even provide bottled water which is the basic requirement. It provided a tumbler of plain water and left it on the table as drinking water. Will not use this hotel again.

Simple Stay

Ok to stay but not for long duration. Simple setup.

It is clean n acceptable condition. But if u are elderly or having knee problems, it is not for u. The toilet is raised so u hv to go over a step up n careful to get down. Room on the 2nd floor so u hv to use staircase. Corridor between 2 sides of room were less than outstretched arm length. So could hear doors being close loudly n movements. Very close to Hero Supermarket where u see very fresh veg, meats n seafood. Can go thru back of hotel to get to big Aeon Mall by the carpark. TOPPEN mall jus get a grab. Found a nice Nasi lemak place for early breakfast. Out of hotel “Turn Left n keep left u will see the the first shop Bonda.

Air-con not cold, bed sheets got holes, can improve

We stayed at JD Hotel mainly for shopping at AEON Tebrau this time as it is 5 minutes walking distance through the carpark there. Though small hotel with 2-storeys but it has what needed for sleep. Friendly staff and fast check in and check out process. Value for money.

Ironing is outside room

wish there was lift so we dont have to carry our luggages using the stairs

hotel is well-located, has staff watching cars. Friendly cat at hotel lobby Room is not well-insulated from noise along the corridor. Can see truckings behind sockets, no bottled water. For the price and location, kinda still worth it. You get what you paid for

Budget hotel. So have to set the right expectation. Clean room, clean toilet, nice cosy hotel. My family checked in at 8pm and check out following night at 8am. Most of our time are spent in the shopping mall So it is basically just for overnight stay which is reasonably good for the price.

Comfortable stay

Comfortable..But not for elderly people as the room is one floor up. Need to climb up staircase.

Functional budget stay near the mall

The location is pretty good, just minutes away from AEON Tebrau City and IKEA by foot. The only down side is there is no clear path for walking, had to cut through the mall's basement carpark and gantry. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a corner where you can purchase snacks, instant noodles and drinks.

Nice affordable hotel near AEON mall

Hotel was near AEON mall & IKEA, about 10min walk. 10min drive away from Austin Heights Amusement Park. Not many eating places nearby but the price is so cheap what can you expect.

1 min drive away from tebrau city

The hotel is Clean and big, friendly reception for a short stay over just for shopping and movies. Parking lots available just right in front. Not much expectation since the shopping center is behind you could get anything from there. Not noisy and safe area

Too noisy

The room is sitting at the main corridor which constantly having people walking pass outside the room. To make it worst, a large thin metal platform was built on the corridor. You may be able to imagine what will happen there day and night.

Is only a Inn!

There’s no lift as the rooms are only 1 level up. You can’t find breakfast place nearby early in the morning. A night stay here is fine since the AEON mall is 5min away.

Basic hotel that suit our need. Room is simple and clean. Good location.

Overall, good stay

It would be good if there is lift at the hotel. Convenient for elderly and tose with many or heavy luggage.Recommend to give 2 bars of soap (1 for washing hand and for shower especially those who prefer to use soap bar).

One night in JS

All the rooms are on the 2nd level, up a short fight of stairs. Upon arrival, we topped up and upgraded to a family room. The room was clean, except for a few stands of hair near the bed. What's best is that the hotel is only a stone's throw away from the mall. On the whole, we had a pleasant stay and have even recommended the hotel to our friends.

Nice, value for money hotel with family room

This is our 2nd time stay. Hotel is nice & considerably clean with friendly & helpful staff at front desk & housekeeping. Security guard is on duty at entrance in the night. Ideal for family but remember to request for non-smoking rooms. There are 2 rooms at 1st level which is good for elderly as there is no lift. Location is convenient. Short walking distance to Aeon Tebrau & Ikea. Grab fare for 6 seater during CNY to City Sq Mall is between MYR 24 and MYR 26.

Hotel was really near to Aeon Mall, very convenient. The male hotel staff taking the night shift was very friendly and polite, while the other 2 female staff doing the day shift did not greet us and stuff. Room was comfortable with the usual necessities available. Overall experience was good and would stay there again.

Nice hotel to relax just to enjoy shopping and food and cinema at Aeon tebrau city 5 minute walk from short cut at basement car park.

Trip was ok. Hotel conveniently located near aeon mall, Tesco and IKEA. No frills hotel for a short stay.

Nice cosy boutique hotel with easy access to Ikea Tebrau, Aeon Tebrau, Tesco Tebrau and Hero supermarket. Area brightly lit so no fear of late night. Ample parking with security.

Ok, can stay again

This 'shop lot' format hotel is Ok for a simple stay. Walking distance to Aeon shopping mall (5 mins), near some food outlets by car (5 mins). I share the same opinion as the other reviewers about the toilet -possibly not properly cleaned, and the seat had broken hinges. They should simply fix it instead of leaving the matter unresolved -don't they read their own reviews? Otherwise, room is almost spacious, attributed by its compact and basic furnishing. Things seem quite new, and clean. Concrete walls, but still had poor soundproofing.

Hotel location was good as it us next to Aeon Tebrau. Room is decent given the price. Will definitely go back the next time i visit the area.

Everything is well accept that the hotel does not have lift service. You need to carry your luggage up to your room. But the hotel staff are willing to help if you ask their assistant.

This hotel is within 5min walk to Aeon Tebrau which is good for a short staycation. There are ample parking spaces in front of the hotel. The counter staff are friendly. However, there is no lift so we have to climb the stairs to the rooms at the 2nd level. The room is decent and clean. The toilet is big and can be quite cold when showering at night as the ventilator turns on when the light is on. The aircon leaked and there is no fridge in our room.

Mattress springs can be felt and couldn't sleep. In fact springs are visible. Toilet oddly furnished.
