The double room is too small for 2ppl, and it was stuffy and oppressive. But the customer service is pretty friendly and international, so you don't need to worry about it if you can not speak Japanese

Property was strategic for our one day tour of Nagoya. Breakfast was very good for a foreigner like us having tontaste the first tome antrue Japanese breakfast.😍

Clean, comfy, and classy

Really happy with my stay. Although tiny, it was clean, comfy, and classy. Very close to the train station and they could store my bag after check out for a few hours before my next train, so i could explore the city.

The Via Inn Nagoya staff is outstanding. They were patient, professional, and helpful throughout a busy weekend that brought many needy foreigners to town - ourselves included. They never let on that we might be taxing them. The Via is convenient to the train station and also quiet. It is faultlessly clean. My 16 year old son and I stayed in two rooms, because rooms with one “large twin” bed were all that was left when we booked. This was a good choice because the rooms themselves were modestly sized.

The air conditioner was too hot even in auto mode.

Via Inn is located in NAGOYA SHINKANSENGUCHI. At first we had a difficult time going to the hotel because the Name of the BLDG is in Japanese. At the top of the BLDG is says JR Vi then Japanese. But over all VIA INN is an excellent hotel.

Small but very very nice and neat

This hotel was clean and well appointed. It was such a welcome reprieve after traveling. The staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean. Usual size of rooms in Tokyo/Nagoya area - a bit small. They were strict with the 3pm check in and 10am check out. Staff weren't accommodating.

Location a bit far but aside from that, staff and hotel room are good!

As I have 2 booking separately due to the availability of the room at the time I booked with different room type, my room was upgraded. Thanks to the staffs and hotel so I stayed in room with larger bathroom. The room is very clean. The bed is soft but the pillow is a bit too hard as normally I use the soft pillow. The breakfast is good and included in room rate with egg (omelet or sweet egg) and meat (fish or sausage), vegetables, fruit, and variety of drink.

Not far from station. Breakfast is good with omelet/sweet egg and Sausage/Saba. Variety of drink to choose. Room size is Japanese standard but this room is equipped with large bath room (separate segtion of toilet and bathroom with bathtub) Staffs are really nice and helpful.

This hotel is new,tidy and very convenient . The hotel outside environment is peace and quiet .

There is another VIA inn nearby so it may be confusing but the location is good and staff are helpful. They also assisted us to change rooms as we booked a smoking room by mistake.

Accessible, clean and friendly staff

Overall the hotel was nice..staff was helpful..i just wish they had more amenities like body lotion, shower cap and more..these would help lessen the things need to be brought during travel.

Nice little place that I would use again.

The hotel is quite close to the JR main station, but you won't find it by accident. The logo is Vi for Via inn, you have to get quite close to see the full name on the door. It's a compact width hotel, right next to a Family Mart store. The staff are friendly, the room is about average for Japan, i.e. small but functional. You get a small fridge, a kettle and tea/coffee ingredients, all the usual bathroom items, and a decent breakfast.You also get wired and wireless internet.

Location is great. Close to Nagoya Station and lots of restaurants around. There's also a Family Mart right by the hotel's entrance. If you are looking to rent a car there's one right across the street. Lots of options for breakfast but it gets crowded very quickly and the sitting area is pretty packed. Room is good with all your basic amenities. However, we do notice a slight odor in the bathroom. It's great that they have onsite laundry as well. Coin-operated and you don't have to worry about getting detergent as it's inclusive.

Price and location are excellent, would come back again.

Not far from the station can walk not over 10 mins

Conveniently located near the JR Nagoya station with lots of restaurant options within a 5 minute walk. There's also a Family Mart connected to the building for grabbing snacks and drinks. We stayed on a non-smoking floor, but as the night went on smoke would creep in from the floors below, making the room smell of smoke. They provided an air purifier for the room, which helped a bit... We liked that the room was larger than most Japanese hotel rooms, and we were actually able to fit two suitcases on the floor! Breakfast wasn't great compared to other budget hotels in the area---Selection was limited to bread, rice, sausages, and black coffee. I would recommend only for a 1-2 day stay.

Breakfast is reasonable good for this room rate.

The room air conditioning appears out not reacting to the thermostat setting. Setting at 22C end up heating up the room to more than 28C. There's no English hotel name visible from a distant.

I have requested the first day of having continuation of staying on the same room which I have already paid for. The most terrifying is that the rude behavior of the reception staff and throwing back the key to us which shocked us the most. Can't imagine with high standard of customer service in Japan would exist with such poorly behaved staff. Please take appropriate action to the concerned staff or no one will stay again at your hotel.

Nothing special but good for 1 night

About a 5 min walk from the station. Breakfast was mostly japanese but did have eggs and good rolls. Room was fine.

Room size too small for two person but breakfast is delicious. Will consider this hotel again when visit Nagoya.

The room was rather small and there is hardly any space for luggage. It was clean though.

Bad bad experience

This is regarding my poor experience in staying in Via Inn, Nagoya dated Dec 8, 2018. Having said that its front desk staff were rude and unprofessional in particular its on duty manager mr. Kimata. We had a total of 18 people staying in this hotel and we were discussing the trip and room arrangement at the hotel lobby, mr. Kimata “instructed” us to keep quiet and go away rudely without even please. We did not believe that it was appropriate to treat the customers. Besides its front desk staff English communication skill were so poor that we could hardly understand the hotel carpark arrangement. We were recommended the car park with higher parking fee. Avoid using this hotel and this was the first time that we encountered poor customer services in Japan.

There was trouble trying to locate the hotel on the standard Nagoya tourist map from the tourist info counter at the JR station. Even two different cab drivers had never heard of the hotel name before, we had to google the hotel to show them the address in Japanese. Cab fare from JR Nagoya to the hotel averaged around ¥600, by walking it is about a leisurely 15 min walk. Hotel room and breakfast were standard and good, and a Family Mart is located at level 1. One point for improvement would be customer service at the front desk, we asked for help to call a taxi on our last day, but was told they could not contact the cab company. We were left on our own to flag a taxi on the road with all our luggages, on an empty street with few cars. It would have been useful if the staff gave assistance and lived up to their advertised service to help call for a cab. I would recommend to stay at the other Via Inn hotel which appeared to be located nearer to the JR station, if distance is a key factor for travellers.

I just needed a night stay in Nagoya for my long commuting, and I enjoyed this hotel a lot! Family Mart is in the first floor, so I was able to have food security! Great quality and amenities that they provided!

アクセスが思ったより駅から距離がありました。また前の交差点が工事をしていて迂回の必要も。お部屋は清潔でベッドも広く、空気清浄加湿機も備えられていて快適。またバスタブも幅が広く、お湯を張って温まれたのでこの季節ありがたかったです。

난방으로 고생했던 호텔

투숙했던 객실의 난방 제어가 안되어 너무 더워서 난방을 끄고 잤고 그로인해 추위에 고생했슴. 참고로 저는 일본 회사 직원이며 일본호텔 이용 경험이 지난 25년간 셀수 없을 정도임. 그리고 다른 호텔보다 와이파이 속도가 너무 열악했슴. 조식은 기시멘과 장어덮밥 중 택 1이고 그외 간단한 채소 찬거리와 된장국, 쌀밥이 있고 택1 메뉴는 조금 과장해서 시식 수준이며 광장히 성의가 없었슴. 면발도 힘이 없으며 몇번 저으니 곤죽이 되어버림. 위치는 나고야역 신간센 구치에서 도보 5분 괜찮으며 주변 상권도 만족스러움.

部屋が狭い上にベッドも小さい。

나고야역 주변 호텔 가격이 많이 비싼졌는데, Via Inn 호텔 가격도 좋았고, 시설도 깨끗하고 좋았습니다.

角部屋でよかったが、テーブルにコンセントがなあ部屋だった為、冷蔵庫のコンセントを使用すると、PCで使用するコンセントがベッドにしかなくとても不便だった。

Aunque la lavandería es pequeña, se puede ver el status de la misma en la TV, cosa que ayuda a organizarse; también se cuenta con apps como netflix o youtube, que como extranjero, me parece importante tener. Las instalaciones están en buenas condiciones y la limpieza se percibe competente, sólo una mancha en la pared, me tuvo un poco intranquilo, esos detalles pueden mejorar. La estación de Nagoya, está a 5 minutos a pie. En general, una buena opción.

名古屋駅の新幹線改札口から徒歩ですぐの、とても静かなホテルでした。 部屋は多少狭いものの、お風呂に洗い場があり使い勝手は良く、1階のファミマも便利でした。 従業員の方々も、皆さん笑顔でとても親切でした。

エアコンの温度調整が難しかったです。 (止めると蒸し暑く、つけると寒すぎ…) しかしながらベッドも広く、よく眠れました。 ありがとうございました。

酒店出入車名古屋站十分方便，只是七分鐘路程，周邊都有很多食市。行15分鐘左右有Aeon24小時超市！去周邊景點很方便，希望酒店能夠改善清潔問題！

나고야 역에서 걸어서 5-7 분정도 거리에 있고 호텔 건물 바로 1층에 패밀리마트가 있어 음식과 생필품 구매에 아주 좋았습니다~ 나중에 나고야 또 오게되면 여기 재투숙할 것 같아요

室内は綺麗で、アメニティも必要なものを1階から持っていけるので不自由はなかったです。 1階のすぐ隣がファミリーマートになっていたのも便利でした。 駅からの道も飲み屋さんが沢山あり、食事するのにも困りませんでした。 ただエクスペディアには”ウェルカムドリンク”と書いてありましたが、スタッフの方に聞いた所、そういうものはないとの事でした。 アメニティコーナーに置いてあるコーヒーなどの事だったのでしょうか。

駅近で、清潔で、かつお手頃な価格でありがたいです

ホテル内は少しタバコ臭さが気になりましたが、コインランドリーや、アメニティ、スマートなチェックアウトと、ビジネスホテルとしては十分に感じました。新幹線が運休になったところ、助かりました。 コインランドリーはテレビで状況を確認取れるので、部屋の中きらタイミングを測ることができて便利でした。

セキリュティばっちり、お得ホテル

ダブルベッドとはじめから理解していましたが、ベッドの変更ができないくらい動きのとれない部屋でした。お得に泊まれたのでとても嬉しい気持ちです。
