Very good option when staying in Tokyo. Train station within 5-6 walking distance. Food options and convenience stores very close. You won’t be dissapointed. We enjoyed our 3-night stay. Staff is amazing and super helpful.
We had a great time at this place - the rooms are well designed and we were able to park the car (it is operated by a parking company, not the hotel) just outside the back entrance. Close to the metro station and walkable to the Imperial Palace. Would definitely recommended.
Staff is amazing. Friendly, helpful and simply above and beyond. Great option and offers a lot for moneys paid. Great Tokyo option.
Great breakfast
5-10 minute walk from train station, very quiet and low traffic area.
The JR was absolutely perfect for my family and I. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
JR West Group Via Inn Iidabashi was fantastic! It is conveniently located with easy access to trains which made exploring Tokyo and getting to the airport a breeze. The area is very walkable, with easy access to many major attractions. The staff were exceptionally courteous, and the breakfast buffet was the best part—especially the delicious apple vinegar juice. Great service! I’d love to return!
The room was quite small, one of the front desk didnt speak any English and he was also a little rude. The building itself is right next to a supermarket so it was super convenient
The smoke smell was too much
The location of the hotel is not really nice, the metro station is far from the hotel an is not easy to get there with luggage
Clean and nice place. Walking distance from subway stations and donquijotte.
Everything is good.clean,staff friendly.
Good location, lots of dining options, easy to get to other major attractions
Small room with all the necessary amenities
Very good
We had such a great experience! Highly recommended. Hotel is in a great location walkable from train startion with a grocery store right next store.
Great, clean hotel. Originally booked it for one night but decided to stay another night due to the quality of the hotel.
Amazing first experience in Tokyo!
I will be back to this hotel in Tokyo!
Great place
Staff here were amazing and could not have been more helpful. Loved it, such well maintained rooms.
.
Close walk to the train station and convenience stores (7-11 and Family Mart). The hotel itself was consistently very clean and quiet, decently comfortable. Many toiletries offered in the lobby as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the room. Staff are excellent. Will definitely be staying again during our next Japan trip!
Clean, conveniently located, but rooms are quite small (still good value for the money).
Helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, great market right next door.
Great place to stay
Great place to stay
Location best fits our style. Walk to the station was not too far and very quiet. My family liked the breakfast. Size of the room was great with Japan’s standard.
Rooms little small
We loved our stay at the Via Inn! The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Had everything we needed. Lots of nearby shops made it easy to get anything we needed. We were even able to leave our bags there while we visited Osaka for a few days!
It’s only eight minute walk from station, next door big convenient store
Really close to the subway station
Patience of staff in dealing with customer, friendly staff.
We love our room with the highway view, very quiet. The room is cozy, we have everything we need, refrigerator, humidifier, small table, a booth. Bathroom is nice, water pressure is excellent. The staff provided us new towels everyday. When we check in early the reception desk staffs take care our luggages, and provided to us umbrellas cause it rained the day we checked in. We like the area, and the hotel we stayed. Thank you so much for your great work
Love the friendly staff! They helped me with everything
Near Indian restaurant and also grocery store. Bus stop nearby and also walking distance to near subway station
Great place honestly made me appreciate the train rides
Was really nice
I’m coming back I feel like home , the train station Iidabashi is 8 min walking , next door you have a supermarket and you can buy food there , the rooms are a bit small but have everything you need inside your room and if you don’t want them to clean your room, they will put you new towels in the door !
This was the first hotel we stayed at on our trip to Japan, and it set the bar really high. After a very long day of travel, we had the easiest check in ever. The front desk person even gave my daughter a little welcome gift. The room was a little small but that was expected, and it was clean and had everything we needed. This hotel is fairly close to Iidabashi station, about a ten minute walk. There are also some cool areas that aren’t as touristy around here, including a beautiful garden and a beautiful neighbourhood know as “the Paris of Tokyo”. If you are looking to be right in the middle of the action, this isn’t the place for you, however all the well known areas aren’t too far. We went to Akihabara and Asakusa while at this hotel and the train ride wasn’t too long at all. Overall, a really great start to our trip!
Clean , good location, walking distance to the dome. Rooms very spacious. Metro station is close by. Totally recommend it
The hotel was amazing. Central to everything. Restaurants, convenient stores, train stations.
It was a good property and clean too and the staff was amazing as well , but they didn’t provide any water or drink which was weird for us as all the hotels we stayed in Japan provide free water coffee and tea and soda for the visiators infact their vending machine was not working as well
Clean ,good location,staff are good
There was nothing wrong with the property. A little hard to find as google led us to the wrong building. Which seems to be a known problem because the building we entered has a map with directions to the hotel from there.
Good hotel in a quiet area
Very quiet, nice staff and clean
Great hotel, a bit small but super clean
Great experience!
Recommend the hotel
Close to JR station. Friendly and helpful staff.
Budget hotel in Tokyo
A budget hotel with okay space and reasonable price
Great experience, fast check in, good location.
Quiet retreat for home base
Those looking for the hustle and bustle of Tokyo should not stay here because this is a nice quiet neighborhood conveniently located next to a supermarket within a five minute walk to the metro station. It’s perfect for us because we prefer staying with locals than tourist. The room is very comfortable and clean and came with pajamas and a hot kettle, so we could enjoy our mornings with coffee and tea. It’s also a 15 minute walk to Tokyo Dome. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.
Very nice
We stayed five nights at this hotel, the location is convenient to metro stations, restaurants and convenient stores. We really liked the cleaniess and the modern look of it. Overall we feel very safe. With young children, we usually get back to the hotel pretty early, just this one night we got back around 11pm after visiting the Disneyland, we saw a bunch of guys surrounding around the hotel entrace, i didnt feel comfortable about it, but overall, we will stay here again if we ever travel to tokyo. Oh best of all, i like the laundromat they have.
Great place to stay
I booked this for a cheap couple of nights to get over the jetlag. I was met with great amenities, friendly staff and a great place to explore Tokyo. Highly recommend by me.
EVERYTHING IS PERFECT 100 PERCENT TO RECOMENT .
The breakfast was excellent, the rooms are a little bit small
My husband and I had an amazing experience! Room cleaning service was top tier! The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive! Only 7-10 minute walk to subway stations. Local Family Mart and there’s a grocery store next to the hotel!
Room too small ..
Room too small, very clean, not a good view at all I guess it is just perfect for the price k paid, wasn’t too picky and didn’t know what to expect at the beginning of my trip but did find better options, of course at a higher price, but definitely a 8.8 out is 10
Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s about 10 min walk from the Iidabashi Station. Local trains are super convenient to travel to and fro Tokyo cities. The only down side is that there isn’t window in the room that we were staying in which wasn’t pleasant.
Our stay was excellent and the staff far exceeded expectations. The day of checkout my son was sick and ended up throwing up in the lobby. One of the counterstaff came out and helped us, cleaned everything up and even made a makeshift bag just in case he threw up on the ride to our next destination. The place was clean and perfect. I would definitely stay here again.
No lobes, no coffee mashin. No restaurant. I wasn't pappy.
24 hour front desk. Friendly service.
Very clean. Helpful, professional staff. Pretty good breakfast on tenth floor. Very convenient location and relatively quiet since it's away from touristy spots. Nice grocery store right next to entrance. Would stay here again.
Very small rooms, management not helpful
Rooms extremely small. We were 3 in one room and barely had room to move or sit or place our luggages. Reservation was for 2 adult and 1 eleven year old and all they had in the room was 2 single twin beds!! We asked for role in bed or mattress, they didn’t hav any! We asked to help us to make it work and manager said only option is to take another room at that night’s rate! We had to combine the beds and sleep all of us like sardines. It was tight and uncomfortable manager was useless. And they don’t speak English so made communication very difficult.
Good hotel
Central location, good condition
The hotel was exactly as we expected. We chose this hotel based on its location. It's centrally located: convenient to go to any direction of Tokyo. Room was small and not much "frills" but that was expected. It was clean and kept in good condition.
Clean room, good location, checkout is early
Via Inn Iidabashi met our expectations. It's a no-frill accomodation. The rooms are small as is usually anticipated in central Tokyo. No restaurants, bars or gyms, but it didn't bother us as all we needed are clean rooms and convenient location. So if you are looking for a clean room, good bed and good shower (water pressure is excellent), this hotel is for you. It's located within a short walk from JR and Metro stations. Staff members are well trained and professional. To me the only disappointment was the early checkout time (10am). I would like it to be at least 11am if possible.
Clean basic accomodation
If you want to be in central Tokyo, don't need gorgeous ambience or amenities, and simply want basic clean room to sleep in, this is a great place for you. The price is good, the room is small but clean and functional. Front desk staffers are super nice and curtious.
Good and quite place
Check in: Slow. Could have get ready to streamline the check in process. Was upset when I see some guests had their card etc ready when they check in. Breakfast: Upset with the limited options and quality of breakfast. Last year western breakfast still have omelette but not anymore.
We loved this hotel - we stayed twice. Everything for your comfort was thought about. The only drawback is noise from traffic from the freeway the hotel overlooks but this is mitigated by soundproof windows. Breakfast was great with options of Japanese or Western breakfast - we opted for the Japanese option every time. There was an easy to use laundry room - the room TV indicated which washing machines were available which was a novelty for us! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Place was clean and well maintained and the service was excellent
The room was more spacious than I expected.
Great experience at this hotel.
The hotel is relatively modern with a simplistic design of the rooms. The lobby is nice, however, it is a bit small. The staff were very polite and helpful. A few complaints were that the bathroom had a smell of mildew or sweat. The bathroom was clean but the smell would not go away during our stay. Additionally, the hotel is located near the Tokyo expressway which can be a bit noisy at times. Overall, the experience here was okay, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay more than the few nights I booked here.
Conviently located between Iidabashi and Korakuen station (Metro and JR lines) and next to a supermarket with good prices. The front desk staff were very helpful and the laundromat is not as crowded compared to other locations.
Very clean and comfortable. Service is great. Would recommend for single travelers or for business travel
Very nice hotel near the subway station
Hotel was very nice and staff were very helpful. Location is also very central and near subway station. Highly recommended!
I had a business trip and this hotel had all my necessities covered. Excellent breakfast by the way. Good staff.
Perfect location to lay your weary head. Small but very well equiped. So many places to eat and explore. A brilliant place to stay in Tokyo
It is a very quiet hotel. It was a short walk to the train station, two Starbucks locations and Caffe Veloce is very good too! There is a supermarket right next door to the hotel which is very convenient. I liked the onsite laundry machines too. Overall, I was very pleased with the location and hotel.
Very nice place and friendly front desk people
The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here, and I recommend staying if you need to stay in the Shinjuku area.
The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Great attitude… rooms are very clean..
Great hotel, great rooms. Location is ok. Could do with some more amenities and a better communal area.
Very clean, good value for money and courteous staff
Comfortable room, affordable price, convenient to market and subway station.
Everything ok
Property was clean and inviting. Had access to everything I needed and only 10 minute walk to train station..
I love the hospitality of the hotel. Also the staff were very accommodating. The location was very peaceful and convenient as it was close to the train station.
I asked for extra pillows because the room come with two and I sleep on high pillow but the staff is refuse to give any pillow claim they only have enough pillow for each room?? How can a hotel have exact pillows? They refused to let me talk to manager until I contacted Expedia customer service, then two pillows delivery to the door right away!! This is unacceptable and too much hassle to deal with such a little request!!
Room was a bit small but met our needs for staying in Tokyo. Located between the major tourist destinations but not close enough to walk or take breaks during the day. There is a grocery store next door and a subway station down the street.
Lovely stay. Not the ideal location for tourist of Tokyo.
The hotel staff were amazing from checkin all the way to check out. When it was raining they allowed me to borrow an umbrella and any questions I had they tried their best to answer
The staff were very helpful and accommodated me when I was struggling with the language. It was quiet despite being situated next to a busy road. Being next door to a convenience store was a plus.
Nice hotel room and really close to the train station
