Short Stay

I always stay for a night when traveling through Surat before going or returning to Samui. I always stay at Journey: it is centrally located, relatively large room and clean; all I need for a brief 1 night stay.

Superb, I will back to stay here again absolutely!!

Concrete boutique. Part hotel part prison prison camp. It soulds awful it is actually kinda cool.

The hostel is in a nice location. Was very comfortable, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Nice place next to food market

I stayed at journey the night before boarding a ferry to Koh Samui. It was a stylish room that had air-conditioning. Everything was clean, and there was a night market right across the street selling great food. I don’t know if they do that every night, but it was a lot of fun to walk around the food and shopping stalls. I got there via the phantip bus from the airport, which only cost 150 baht. I walked to the Seatran station next morning, which I don't recommend doing - pay for a taxi, it's a hot and tiring walk.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Journey Hostel. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They helped us organise ferry ride and and driver needs we had when we wanted to drive to the elephant farm. The only thing I would really mention is that the room didn’t have a window, but that was no bother to me. There is the occasional night market right across the street too (seems mostly weekend or Monday though) also the food carts outside on the Main Street were extremely friendly too. I’d definitely stay there again and couldn’t recommend it more.

Great place. Very comfortable and clean room. The staff was very attentive. In my time of going to the airport there were no taxis available and someone from the staff made a point of taking me to the airport.

Hostal very affordable in an amazing condition

Hostal with great amenities, good condition, and good service. Breakfast was delicious, and there's I think the biggest shopping centre in Surat Thani just 10 min walking from the hostel. It's also 10 min driving from the bus station. There's also a local market just in front of the hostal, so if you are looking for cheap souvenirs, clothes and street food, this is the place to stay.

Nice surprise

We were delighted by the lovely room and having the night market right across the street. Breakfast was toast and coffee with an option to purchase eggs.

Hostel outside Surat Thani city proper

We took a bus from outside the airport, pretty convinient, 100 bath per person. They let us off on the highway 200 m from the hostel. The hostel seemed pretty new, the staff friendly, spacious rooms, nice bed. Its nothing in the area, except a 7-11. We walked around 10 minutes before we found a local resto that seemed ok.Breakfast very very simplr. We stayed there one night, and we were picked up next morning,heading for Samui.

Parfait. Endroit top. Très propre est sympa pour une très bonne nuit.

Godt hostel

Boede der en enkelt nat inden vi skulle videre til Koh Samui. Fungerede rigtig fint og personalet var særdeles behjælpelige mht arrangering af transport mv. Fint værelse hvor vi sov 5 personer.

Leuk en erg nieuw hostel.

Ik heb hier een private room voor 1 nacht geboekt. Super mooi en nieuwe kamer + badkamer. Het enige jammere is dat er geen raam was. De kamer is verder erg mooi. Bed is super chill. Personeel is vriendelijk. Gratis ontbijt was toast met jam en coffee, thee en een sapje. Surat Thani zelf is niet heel toeristisch gister alleen 1 toerist tegengekomen. Bus en boot naar koh tao vanuit hier geboekt koste: 750 baht.

Près des centres d’achat, night market et autobus

Grande chambre, salle de bain jolie, tv avec HD Tout est à distance de marche. La station d’autobus à 10 min en touktouk

Hôtel propre et confortable, proche du centre commercial. Ils organisent les transferts vers les îles pour un prix raisonnable.

Excellent for low budget

Perfekt for one night. New urban style. Very kind staff. Ferry to Samui, Tao, Phangan can be booked directly (lomprayah e.g. 500 Baht with pick up at the hostel)

Nice Hostel Room

A very cheap but clean Hostel Room near the main bus station. The stuff was nice and friendly .

Es un hotel muy bonito y muy limpio.

Hotel muy bonito y limpio! Personal muy amables! Lo unico que falla es el desayuno que fue un poco pobre. Esta a 15 min en taxi del centro.

Bekvämt, rent och fint hotell.

Jättefräscht, frukosten som ingick var inte så bra men man kan beställa extra. Väldigt fina rum, området runt omkring mindre kul att vistas i. Sov bara där en natt, bra och billigt!

Good value for money!

We stayed for one night before our flight and really liked our stay. The hostel is cozy and nicely decorated. Our room was clean and simple. The staff also helped to arrange our transportation to the airport so that was a bonus. Overall very good experience.

Beste Hotel in Surat Thani

Ich kann das Journey Hostel in Surat Thani uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Für mich definitiv das schönste Hotel in Surat Thani und auch eines der schönsten Hotels, welches ich in Thailand insgesamt gebucht habe. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und macht hervorragenden Eiscafe. Die Zimmer sind in einem Topzustand und sehen mit ihrem Loftstyle wirklich toll aus.Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Die Klimaanlage war sehr modern und entsprechend leise. Die Lage ist für Reisende, welche die Stadt erkunden wollen, nicht ideal. Für alle anderen auf Durchreise aber sehr gut gelegen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr mager, zumindest wenn man wie wir erst um 10h auftaucht. Ansonsten aber alles wirklich überragend, insbesondere für den Preis.
