EVERYTHING

The hotel does not provide you with water even though they said it to use the tap water. The room has a musty smell. You can hear the live music past after 1:30 AM at night. The room is not quiet for sleeping. It does not provide any water, toothpaste or tooth brush. Their workers speak very limited English. International planes usually fly into Lima after midnight. You arrive at the hotel early in the morning and there is nothing inside it for you to use to brush your teeth with. You have to get water, a toothbrush and toothpaste at a convenience store close by in the morning. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Their breakfast is very limited and the workers at the restaurant speak very limited English.

Room was pleasant enough. Water temperature in shower fluctuated, almost dangerously so. Flooring in room seems very sensitive to damage by minute amounts of water. Hotel threatened to charge us $30 for damage to floor that we didn’t do. They eventually acquiesced, but the incident was unpleasant nonetheless.

Enjoyed our stay. It is at prime location. Walking distance to most of the locations. Beautiful township.

Great location

Good location in Miraflores near Barranco. Lively area. Arranged shuttle through Hotel before I arrived at Lima Int'l Airport, important to me because my flight arrived late at night. Everything worked smoothly, was met just outside baggage claim, driven directly to Hotel.

The staff here is lovely and works hard to take great care of each guest.

We stayed a third time in this hotel. Very convenient location and helpful stuff. Special thanks to Carlos . He was very helpful with upgrading our room when we called a couple of weeks before arrival. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 2am. Staff and room was perfect. Location is perfect for many sights and restaurants.

We arrived after midnight & was impressed with how every stage, from airport pickup through check in was exactly right. Staff so friendly. Rooms clean. The hotel is in easy walking distance to many fun things.

Very good hotel in Lima. Helpfull staff, good breakfast, large Room, clean, good location.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. So hard like sleeping on the floor. Also why do hotels all over the world insist on using Duvets, no matter the weather and temperature conditions. It makes almost impossible to control sleeping temperature.

Location was good. Staff was not helpful. Bathroom was very dirty. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. I was not happy with staff.

My flight was cancelled and I had no WIFI to go on line and cancel my reservation. I had hoped the hotel would work with me but they did not. It's alot of money to lose. I recomend a 24 hour cancellation police. In the future I will book only hotels that off a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Great service and help with our stay there , their restaurant and breakfast are excellent as well as their staff .

Location is great. I block from major shopping and 55 blocks from Larco Mar shopping mall. Breakfast good. Didn't eat dinner here but prices were reasonable. Staff very helpful.

We liked the location. Close to good restaurants and close to Larcomar. The room we had was very nice.

Poor ability to solve their problems

Air conditioning wasn’t working first day, and it was hot and humid. I asked it be fixed on first day; it was not. Requested again prior to 2nd night, again no fix. Finally, after my wife had already gone to bed, they offered to change rooms for us—- too late for comfort. They gave us a fan, which helped. This suggests that staff are either poorly trained or don’t have sufficient management support. Aside from this, as others have noted, pretty basic arrangement. No tissues, room layout not great. We have stayed in much better hotels in Peru in same category.

Disappointment at Jose Antonio Lima

Area hotel is at very positive, nice people traffic at night and nice restaurants in area, safe area to stay. Complete disappointment with this property, Hotel front desk very unpleasant, no tissues in room, no bottle water provided, 8 Soles per bottle where down the street you pay 1.5 Sol at grocery store. old furniture in dining area, food average (-) for breakfast. beds uncomfortable, A/C did not work first night repaired on 2nd night. You do better at other hotels at the price they charge.

Great hotel near restaurants & main shopping area

We were upgraded from Hotel Jose Antonio at 28 de Julio to Jose Antonio Deluxe Hotel at Calle Bellavista. This hotel was close to everything - restaurants, supermarkets, places to arrange tours and was only 15-20 minutes walk to the beach. We enjoyed the area as I think it was much better than the original hotel area but they are about 10 minutes walking from one to the other hotel.

Staff is very friendly & helpful - important after 17+ hours of travel

Very convenient location

Very convenient location because the Airport Express bus stops right outside the entrance. The Airport Express bus is very efficient and therefore this is a major advantage for non-drivers. Reasonably near Lacoma mall which has lots of food options and a supermarket.

Hotel is very comfortable, It is at a very convenient location, close to top restaurants and shops in the Miraflores district.

Nice hotel. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Hotel was near bus lines for access to the historic area of Loma. Rooms were very clean and adequate size.

Clean hotel , reasonably good buffet breakfast , rooms clean , air con a little noisy and old , in room safe but little hit and miss to use .
