Best Value Hotel with 5-Star Guest Service
Best value for your money at a 5-star guest service experience plus the only hotel in Center City Jerusalem that offers paid car rental parking (no other hotel does). 10 minutes walk to the Old City, Mamilla Mall and Mahane Yehuda Market. Welcoming friendly professional staff from Frontdesk, reservations to housekeeping. I highly recommend for your stay in Jerusalem - a home away from home.
Home Away from Home in Jerusalem
Location, location, location. Prima Vera is centrally located to restaurants, cafe, shops and 10 minutes walk from the Old City Jerusalem and Mamilla Mall. Most hotels in central Jerusalem don’t offer car parking but Prima Vera does which is convenient. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient at opening car parking gate. The housekeeping staff always anticipate your accommodation needs offering fresh new towels and amenities. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with A/C, free WiFi and smart TV as well as complimentary red wine, coffee, tea and water. I love that there’s a refrigerator and safe in each room. The hotel also offer breakfast and dinner meals for a surcharge. Overall, the price value nightly rate is the best value for all that they offer. I highly recommend staying at Prima Vera when in Jerusalem Israel.
Centrally Located Hotel in Jerusalem
Location, location, location. It’s the best hotel in Jerusalem and my home away from home. Close to public transportation, rental cars, 5 minute walk to Mamilla Mall and 11 minutes walk to Old City and important sights. Walk to Ben Yehuda market shops, cafes and restaurants. It’s clean, comfortable, quiet, free WiFi, TV, fridge, A/C, tea and hot water kettle, optional breakfast and paid car-parking. The staff were helpful, friendly, accommodating and 24-Hour Checkin counter. I highly recommend this hotel your next visit to the Holy Land.
Amazing location and staff - renovated room
We had a lovely time at the Prima Vera. The room was newly decorated and very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect as we went to explore the Old City of Jerusalem. We o ly wish we could have extended our stay for another night.
This was a nice hotel. The bathrooms look recently renovated. The staff was very helpful.
Property in the center of the city,at a short distance ofshopping and eating ammenities. Checking was easy, and late check-out was made available even before asking. Parking at the hotel privet lot, guarded.
One iron in the whole hotel and was not able to get it. No fridge in the room, breakfast is the same everyday. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Extremely disappointed
I rarely say anything bad about a hotel but this one was horrible. First of all, if you’re outside it’s difficult to even understand where to go check in. Once I did approach the front desk the attention was rude, never smiled, seemed annoyed by my questions. Visitors need to realize this is an OLD hotel. My room looked like it was from the 70s. After walking around for only 5 mins the bottom of my socks were black, the floor was FILTHY. One of my lights didnt work, shower didn’t work correctly, no hooks for towels, barely room to get out of shower. Window wouldn’t shut properly so you could hear EVERYTHING on the street. No refrigerator in room. For $110 per night I expected alittle better. I honestly thought I was in a roadside motel from the 70s. If I had my girlfriend, YES, I would of requested a different room or just left, but I was alone and all 3 days I was getting up very early for tours and coming in late so I didn’t care really. The ONLY thing that was good was the air conditioning, it was great
Todo fue excelente , la tranquilidad la limpieza seguridad …
STAFF IS AMAZING AND PROFESSIONAL KEPT US INFORMED AND VERY WELL GUARDED PROPERTY! GOD BLESS , THANK YOU FOR OUR WONDERFUL STAY!
Excellent price
Not so clean
The hotel is very good. It’s located in the heart of Jerusalem. Lots eating places around and it’s about 15 minutes walking from all major attractions. Great choice
Very very friendly staff and also walking distance to all the important locations in Jerusalem
Staff was helpful and polite. There was a nice breakfast laid out every morning and cleaning service daily. The front desk was always willing to help us regarding parking or suggesting where we eat if we needed ideas. period they were really very nice
The food for breakfast needed to be more than vegetables. Not many options for foreigners who are not middle eastern.
Accessible to everything.
The property is not the top of the line but it was perfect for my wife and I stay. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was good, and the 24/7 coffee and tea was a great addition. The room was small, but suited our needs.I would recommend this hotel to any couple looking for a place to stay.
While the room was not too fancy or comfortable, the service was fantastic and everything was very clean, very accessible, very easy. The location is convenient but a bit noisy at night. I'm very grateful to the staff.
Central location nice clean room great breakfast
The hotel does the job of a hotel, it provides a bed to stay in. However, do not expect much beyond that. The rooms are in rough conditions with mattresses and pillows that are not particularly. Most critical feedback is that housekeeping fully barged into my room twice while I slept, both times before 9am, both in one morning. There were also not any ‘do not disturb’ signs available in the room, and only after that morning was I given one at the front desk. On the positive: The front desk staff was very nice and helpful when needed, for which I commend them. In short: If you need a budget friendly place to sleep in a good location in Jerusalem, you can opt here — but have the proper expectations before your stay.
The location in the center of Jerusalem can't be beat! And to find it at an affordable price was a bonus! The staff is efficient, friendly and accommodating. We needed to have an unscheduled business meeting, and they just gave us the space and asked what we needed.
The area immediately outside was not well kept and the room was not cleaned properly, especially the window that had dried food stuck to it
The best thing about this hotel is the location and the buffet breakfast. Staff was pleasant but the room, and overall condition of the hotel, was saaaaaddd. First, I booked this hotel with the expectation that there was a fitness room, as shown in the booking photos. Was informed, after traveling 16 hours, that the photo was taken 3 years ago and it had since been closed. I actually had to find a gym nearby, Star1Gym, and spend $41 for a week pass as that is a non-negotiable for me. The laundry list of cosmetic issues exceeds the number of characters allowed but let’s say it’s WAY past it’s heyday..by about 20 years. Housekeeping came each day to change the towels but never once changed the bed sheets and I wound up using a towel to mop the floor as I never felt like it was clean enough. But let’s focus on the ‘positive’ aspects. It’s in a GREAT location. You can literally walk to Ben Yehuda Street in 5 minutes and the Jaffa Gate in 15. Super convenient location and when I return to Jerusalem again, which I will because my Sister lives there, I would absolutely pick this area, but likely NOT this hotel.
Review of Recent Stay
The hotel itself was very average except for the following: Great morning breakfast Extremely slow dual elevators (12 Stories, 6 passengers) Great Front Desk personnel No vehicle drop off or pick up area near hotel entrance. No parking in area Hillel Street has a very very steep grade near the hotel. Small hotel customer rooms, but decent bathrooms. Good location to the Old City. Overall I would rate as average.
Affordable hotel in a great location near Old City and Ben Yehudah street. Accommodation Is pretty basic. Breakfast is varied, though bland overall. Staff was extremely helpful.
Good position towards Old Town
Breakfast was awesome and with varieties. Staff were professional and very helpful. Place was convenient to everything.
They were able to accommodate and make arrangements for my mother's wheelchair. I am truly grateful!
Ha sido una excelente estancia en este hotel.
Close to everything.
Comfortable stay in the central Jerusalem
shower room's door was about to fall off and the anti-skid gel on the floor pricked hard on our feet. Air condition was good. the breakfast buffet was good. Tea and coffee were provided for 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay.
Good
We usually stay at 5 star hotels but except for amenities like a gym this is a great hotel. It is economical and centrally located. It is located just in front of ben Yehudah Street with a ton of restaurants and shops and within walking distance to the Old City of Jerusalem, the city of David and the Mount of Olives.Though the rooms are small the beds comfortably sleep two people and the closet space is well designed. The breakfast is a typical Israeli breakfast but with less choices meaning 10 salads instead of 20. There was fish and eggs but no omelet station. We were so impressed with the hotel that we will be housing our tour groups at this hotel instead of the more expensive hotels. We were there for a week.
The staff and cleanliness was remarkable. The rooms were basic and dated but adequate and clean.
The area around the hotel is lovely! Close to a stop on the light rail. The hotel staff was very kind in working with us for space for all of us. The breakfast was plentiful.
Staff was very accommodating to all of our requests. Easy booking and communication . Amenities are basic . bed could be more comfortable for the hotel. Other then beds everything was great!
The room and hotel were clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The staff attended to my friends and myself as if we were family.
location
Very tiny room, no refrigerator and cups/glasses. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable, thin sheets. Location was very good.
This hotel is for budget tourists but has all you need for a normal stay in the midtown of Jerusalem. The room was clean, the water was hot and breakfast consists of a variety of eatable items.
Basic hotel, good location. Decent for the price
Very good location, and friendly staff. Small and very basic room Decent breakfast. Under the Israeli average.
Good valua at a good location
Location is fantastic - just 2 min. Walk to the main area (Jaffa st.) Service was good. Bad smoking smells in the corridor. The room was ok - clean and good shower. Bed was no so comfortable
Good location and helpful staff
It was a fantastic value.
Nice location. Good breakfast. The rooms/elevator are a bit small. 10min walk to market and old city gate. Would stay again.
Things I liked about the property were, the friendly staff, they were very accommodating. The rooms are tiny but practical, Food was great if you like Israeli food. Lots of salad in the morning and salted fish. Probably very healthy I just wasn't used to it.
Convenient to everything "Jerusalem".
Without realizing that this is the very hotel I stayed at in 1979 with a youth trip. It was old and run down then and now it is pleasantly updated. It is perfectly located to everything you could want in Jerusalem, most of which you can walk to and a lot of night life in the area.
I'M HAPPY WITH MY STAYING
Great place to stay
Great location yet close enough to the old town. Property was clean, however, the breakfast was basic.
Short pleasant walk to Old City. Front desk staff very helpful.
Happy camper
Very clean. Good service. Helpful staff
GREAT PLACE TO STAY
EXCELLENT. Great Location, 10 min walk to Jaffe Gate. Clean, Comfortable, Well priced, but best of all are the professional, courteous, helpful staff. One of the best people I've ever met at any hotel I've stayed at. Really well run hotel.
Hotel was ok. You get what you pay for. Location is noisy especially at night. Staff seem to be easily confused. First day, after a long flight we were trying sleep in the afternoon when house keeping was trying to let themselves in. The room was already cleaned so not sure what they woke us up for. At the end of the stay, I asked the front desk about a shuttle since our flight was during Shabbat. Guy says he would reserve it for us, I even offered to leave a note since our tour left early on Friday and would get back late, but he said don’t worry about it. When we get back from our tour Friday evening, he hadn’t made the reservation and a different person was there and the shuttle company was already closed. The front desk guy looks us in the eye and says, don’t worry it’s just 300 shekles for a taxi ($85). That was just plain disrespectful if you ask me. On the good side, room was always clean and there were a few good staffers that try to do what they can. Price was also hard to beat. 2/5 would only recommend if you’re on a budget.
We could not sleep with all the blasting noise outside. Our bed was vibrating from the noise.
Todo super bien la gente atenta y estamos satisfechos
Great location and nice breakfast! The check in was smooth and the reception guys had a great sense of humor.
It boils down to this: the rooms are very VERY VEEERRRYYY small. We were huddled around our suitcases the entire time. It was not pleasant. The beds also were extremely uncomfortable. Location was great though.
Good Choice!
This was a good hotel and location for us. Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Good breakfast. Nice room. It would be nice if there was a coffee pot, iron board, iron in the room but wasn't necessary. I would recommend this hotel and pricing was also a good deal!
Nothing, you need to remove this hotel from your listing as it is more like an internment hostel.
Good overall
Other than rooms run small our stay was good and will recommend this hotel
סביר
המלון ברמה יחסית נמוכה לנו הוא ענה על הצרכים אבל לא היינו נשארים יותר מלילה אחד המיקום מעולה
Good position but room for improvement.
Hard to find guest parking. Manager was inexplicably curt about our complaint of the parking. Only exit from hotel front was visible. Entrance via narrow lane at the back. Badly signposted. Not a good start to stay. Hotel is stark. Breakfast was very basic by Israeli standards. TV didn't work.
You get what you pay for. The hotel was not expensive; it was 10-15 (maybe 20) minutes from Old Town. My room was not big, but I have slept in smaller rooms in Japan and in Paris. It served its purpose. The staff were nice and helpful. There are good coffee shops close by as well as a few good restaurants.
The location is good. The room was small, but we knew that from reviews , a little damp and musty though. Breakfast is adequate, nothing special. Big bathtub, but no stopper, and housekeeping couldn’t even find one. Front desk staff was very nice and tried to be helpful
OVERCHARGED, EXPENSIVE and Service so Unfriendly
1...Overcharged the room by $3.00 over two nights stay 2...Charged $3.00 for Housecleaning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3...No Kettle in room & Hot water available only at breakfast Was rudely told to go out and buy drinks 4...BED BUGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5...EXPENSIVE for a hotel in the city center with no kettle 6...Relocated to First floor instead of eighth floor, window was small with little view, room was small 7...Breakfast at least had salad 8...Noisy with slamming doors Will not return to this expensive hotel that overcharges
I would not recommend this hotel. Definitely a budget hotel - 2 stars max. The wifi does not work and it is dirty.
Overcharged?
Disappointed in the price. I always ask for prices in Aus. Dollars. This was charged in USD. Quite a shock. Anna
Disappointed.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, it is an easy walk to the old city. The room was very very small, I have seen larger dorm rooms. The beds were comfortable but very small considering I am just five feet tall, I just fit on the bed. The hotel was filled with both high school and college students on tours, so it was very noisey. For the amount of money I expected a better room, the convenience of being near the old city was not worth the price.
Excelent location
the best is the staff. Excellent location Could improve internet access
Great location. Small rooms. Good breakfast. Incredibly helpful staff!
Won't hurry back
Hard mattress and awful pillows
Great position
Position is unbelievable, staff were friendly and it was very clean. However the bed/mattress was terribly uncomfortable, this was a great pity!
Great location
Everything was great. Wish they had bagels on Sunday Also bananas fresh fruit
Our 50th Anniversary Celebration!
We were so glad to have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel! The service was excellent and we loved the food!
More like Youth hostel feel
Lots of high schoolers for graduation trip from Germany. Great location but you will get what u paid for
We PP the hotel and we got charge a extra150 BS
We pre-paid for the hotel when we arrive they charge an extra $50 a night This was Point bank ripping us off and I would not suggest this hotel to anybody the elevators don't work the room and crappy and people are rude
Commercial hotel in city center
Upon arrival, the TV and Wifi didn't work. The hotel staff assisted in fixing the problems. The breakfast was very disappointing, there was very little selection. The hotel was full of teenagers (presumably from Taglit), who were very noisy. There was also lots of noise in the street.
Overall - good stay.
Love the location and the breakfast. Rooms are clean and with just enough room 1). With all the youth trips, It's taken a toll on the remodel from a few years ago. Getting a bit worn. Mildew growing in shower. Not s good direction. 2). Also - where did your "do not disturb" signs go. I was worken up every morning early just to have to say "not now thank you". And then they would NEVER come back a little later as the do at other hotels. Over all good stay.
Great Location Great Price
Great Location, Cleanliness and Breakfast. Room is smallish.
Just the facts
Good Price, Great Location, Helpful Staff, No Frills Rooms. Overall a good value.
Solid hotel in excellent location
We were received by helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast isn't great, the beds are very short and not comfortable, but overall it's a pleasant stay. I'd highly recommend this place for people who need a place to sleep and value location over comfortable beds.
Good value for price.
Good location
The hotel is convenient for visiting the old city and near shops and restaurants. Staff are generally friendly and helpful ,especially Vatche.
good location. near jaffa st and the western wall.
Convenient and clean hotel
It was good value for excellent location and well serviced rooms. We would have liked access to self catering facilities.
Poorest stay in any hotel!
This is the poorest stay in any hotel that I've ever stayed at anywhere! It was very noisy every night I was there, and the noise from other guests never quieted. The walls seemed paper-thin! We had to sleep on the floor and the shower door closed on the toilet. When we went to eat there were only salad toppings and no salad. Definitely false advertising.
No frills base for exploring Jerusalem...
... but don't expect much. This hotel has is in an excellent location, very walkable for food and shopping, safe, and close to the Jaffa gate. The staff is hit or miss in it's friendliness and helpfulness. This is not a language barrier-- everyone speaks English very well. The wifi does not reach the room, just the lobby--- we could get one bar sitting on the toilet, but that's not helpful or as advertised. We mentioned this repeatedly to the front desk, they promised they would reset the router, but the issue was not resolved in the 3 nights we spent there. There is breakfast, but it's not very good. No in-room fridge. When we arrived to check-in with our rental car, we circled the block one time but could not find their parking garage. After 4 phone calls to the hotel front desk, we finally got a different person to speak to who was able to direct us to the poorly marked entrance to the garage on an alley/side-street that doesn't even appear on the street map. Some mention of this on their website would be very helpful for the planners among us who like to be sure they can get where they are going, especially in a foreign country. Also, this hotel hosts very large groups of youth tour groups, so we often found the lobby completely full of either people or luggage. The kids like to sit in the hallway and socialize... the first night we had to call the front desk because of the noise-- they were actually quite helpful with this issue. Also, our bed was very hard.
Accessible
Very close to Jerusalem city. Very convenient. Staff were accommodating.
Good hotel to stay
I booked this hotel because it is in a walking distance from Yaffo Gate of the Old City. Surprisingly, the hotel rooms were not overbooked and it was easy to get one. The room was not big and noise from the street and from hallway occasionally interrupted our sleep, but overall everything was OK. We needed the hotel for night time, so size of the room did not disappoint us. The full breakfast was very good and friendliness of the stuff was amazing. I made a remark for myself about this hotel. If I ever will be in Jerusalem again and would need a place close to the Old City, this hotel will be my first choice.
nice & comfortable , town center, v good value for money
Good and convenient
The hotel's location is great and within walking distance of most things. It is a typical boutique-type hotel. Rooms are small but if you are not planning to spend a lot of time in the rooms, they work just fine. Staff is helpful and the hotel does have self parking, though not the easiest to find if you have never been there before. The morning breakfast buffet is small and not much variety compared to the bigger hotels buffet spreads, but it is nice to have something right there to start your day. The hotel worked for me and I would stay there again.
Great location and staff, disappointing room.
My sister had booked a room in a more expensive hotel and when I joined her we looked for something less expensive. This hotel would have been fine for my husband & me but she found it very disappointing. Tiny window, so room was dark, mold in bathroom, TV and safe both needed fixing (and were). Staff VERY helpful and nice. Plenty of space for toiletries and clothes. Set up for a couple, not two women.
Great location
The hotel was adequate - no problems or issues. Would not rate the hotel as great, but also it is not bad as all. Breakfast was the same - decent but not as good as some other hotels we stayed at. Best part of the hotel was the great location. very close to Ben Yehuda St for shopping and only 10 min walk to old city and Wall.
Relaxing
A very good hotel in the middle if all activities. Good clean room with good breakfast.
Well Situated & Reasonably Priced Jerusalem Hotel
The hotel was fine. It is not the King David. But we knew that before it was booked. The room was clean and convenient to most Jerusalem sites. The staff were professional and helpful. I would recommend this hotel. The only negative was related to parking: I found it confusing to find the parking lot and difficult to park in such narrow spaces.
the location was great for travelling but really bad for resting. a lot of noise during the night. very basic - room, brekfest.

No surprises. Clean and the staff was helpful. Would go there again
