The most terrible staff I’ve ever seen ☹️☹️☹️ And overall stay was not pleasant, I don’t recommend to anyone

DISGUSTING...STAFF ARE THE LOWEST

This is a ultra low all inclusive ( said by management) .i mean ultra low .......the staff are VERY ignorant and get very upset if they ALL are not in the restaurant ( cafe ) 1st......we had to qsk for the pool area to be cleaned as it was filthy..i mean filthy .the inclusive drink is gin vodka raki and flat beer ... we have holidayed thousands of Times and this is the PITS 100% ....... PLEASE BELIVE US IT DISGUSTING......fotos of the hotel look wow . The food is omg slop.....utterly tasteless....fruit was nice.

Showers were mouldy and beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The air conditioning kept turning off and the fridge to keep water cool in 30 degree heat, failed to work.

The staff (one super kind woman) was available to help at the front. We were given first a room with to single beds instead of a double bed (were a couple). Then they had no wifi and no laundry as advertised. They also had 2 towels and no toiletries in the bathroom. The room was larger and had AC but only when you were in the room with the card and the door is shut. The fruit was old but the food was good. The location was near the beach and the busy street where the bars and restaurants are but it was soo loud, I had to wear ear plugs. Noise died down around 1230. I felt it was way over priced.

Besides the average buffet the rest of the hotel Wasn’t a good experience. The surrounding noise from the bars made sleeping a nightmare, the noise from the hotel itself was another issue. The hotel needs to seriously consider to do something about noise insulation.

A couple of days relaxing with friends. Good hotel, location and food.

The staff were helpful and polite. My room was alwys cleaned to a good standard. I only had the breakfast there but would have preferred some other variety of foods.

Find another hotel

It is overrated and with the wrong description of hotels.com. Our confirmation said its a sea view room, while hotel reception said they don't advertise rooms with sea view, by the way, there was a tiny corner sea view nothing major. Also, one of the receptionists called Janan or something is very rude and doesn't provide any information. Also, our AC was not fully functional, I reported on day 1 and wasn't fixed till end our stay on day 5. Rooms are cramped, with tiny WC and walk-in shower. The pool is a small and expensive bar.

Good location but overall a disappointment

The location is good but it’s very noisy at night and sound isolation is not good, we almost did not sleep because of the noise coming from outside. AC is weak room is very small..

Fabulous

Fabulous, close to the beach and the live night life

This property is located on a back street but within a 5 minute walk to the beach area. Hotel staff was very helpful in all aspects. The rooms were very modern and very clean. The breakfast which was included in the price was outstanding with everything you could imagine available even eggs cooked to order. The only downside is this property has no parking areas for guests to use. Parking on the street can be a challenge finding something close to the hotel depending upon the time you check in. Overall this hotel is well worth the money.

i like everything in this hotel .stuff are nice rooms are perfect the location of hotel in ideal i didn't like one bathroom in family suite (we are 5 persons ) there is no close place to eat open area

The air conditioning wasn’t that great as it was very hot and the conditioners weren’t helping as much

The design of the room is good. The bad thing is you have to pay for orange juice at breakfast its not free.

When I saw first the room i thought it smaller than the photos on their website.And it was too hot , there was no air conditioning. But apart from that, the staff were helpful,friendly,and hotel was very clean. Good pool and restaurant

Nice and clean ,the staff are helpful except the two guys on night reception useless. Cleaners took the iron form the room daily and you couldn't get another one as they go home at 5pm reception would not help at all with this.

Disappointed

We have stayed here many several times and have noticed a gradual deterioration. Lack of milk with the tea and coffee making facilities, limited choice of teas etc. Sadly our last stay was marred by basic inefficiency. My wife checked in earlier and advised reception that as I was arriving from the UK, I would no be arriving until after midnight. She was reassured that this would not be a problem . It was. Worse still no one took responsibility for the aggravation that this caused resulting in the real possibility that we will not be staying in future. Sad for a hotel that we had previously introduced to friends.

Clean hotel,room was modern and clean but too small,the bed was not that comfy and is not big enough,the reciption staff could smile more often.There is also not a restaurant or a bar in the hotel.If you are traveling by car,parking can be a problem,over all it’s worthy of its price.

Consistently excellent

Very nice. Had booked a sea view room but did not get this and upon enquiry was informed there were no sea view rooms so description on website is incorrect.

Very close, modern, new and we'll mentained. Food is very rich, very friendly and polite staff, very close to everything. Will go again defenetly.

Disappointed

Clean and comfortable hotel, location is aldo great. BUT room service ends at 5pm and you are not allowed to bring food or drink inside the room, wifi was dreadful and water pressure was very low. Stayed here for business so had to spend most of my time inside the room. İf you are going to be out and about and only ho to the hotel to sleep then it is a nice place.

the location is brilliant close to everything

The hotel was very clean and everyone was very friendly, especially the lady at the reception. Was not overly pleased with the breakfast they need to find alternatives to the full English breakfast.

Liked the spacious room with balcony (although there was no view), excellent breakfast, good location, very modern, helpful staff who tried hard to communicate in English. Didn't like the strong disinfectant smell after the room was cleaned; also sound from the hallway late at night (people talking very loudly) was annoying.

The shower did not have a pressure regulating valve so it consistently slowed in flow. Around the shower tracks were dirty and possible mildew. The rooms are definitely not sound proof. I heard everyone in the hallway and noice coming from outdoor also. All the noise kept me awake till late at night then awoken at 6 am during the prayers. Poor lighting in the room by the bedside to read.

Great hotel for the price, excellent service. I wish the pool had water in it but it was too early in the season for swimming.

Very enjoyable out of season stay, nice flat promenade for walking, nearby shops for essentials, very nice comfortable hotel with tasty breakfast buffet.

Room - smelled like smoke so we changed our room. Staff was helpful with this. Otherwise had a cool design and everything was very trendy. Staff - helpful and friendly during the day, the night staff were a little less helpful. Food - average or below average. They served ice cream cones for breakfast.

Perfect for couples

Anorher amazing stay at JDW design best hotel in marmaris if you want quiet and relaxing and is close to beach and bars for night life. The staff are lovely special thanks to Erol and Abraham who always go out of their way to help you and food and drink were top quality

Been back to this hotel 5 times now. It’s a perfect base for anyone who enjoys an independent holiday, who doesn’t need entertainment round the poolside & spoonfeeding with copious amounts of junk food. Breakfast is healthy, pool is lovely, staff can’t do enough for you, rooms are clean, comfy, well decorated. Location great for buses to the centre or icmeler, long beach area, beach.

The staff is very polite, the breakfast and the hotel restaurant is very good, and the location is right in the center of the beach alley. We had a great stay, and we would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends.

Beautifully presented, rooms are small, no blanket

Stayed for one night before flying home earlier this month. Everything about this hotel was lovely, except for there were no blankets in the room, just a sheet on the bed. Woke up middle of the night really cold because of the air conditioning - discovered there weren't any extra blankets provided. Felt uncomfortable with ringing down to Reception for a blanket as I felt completely dishevelled and nightwear was packed in the case ready to go next morning. Therefore I just put a big towel on the bed and managed to get back to sleep. I've since developed a cold which I put down to getting too cold in the room.

Fantastic hotel - highly recommend

Amazing hotel, very well run, staff were friendly and professional. Food and drinks to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The rooms are to a good design and the hotel is quite modern. Overall I would highly recommend this to friends and family visiting.

Everyone in the hotel was smiling, all were kind and helpful. the hotel is very safe. when you need any kind of help, the manager will even try to help. No direct access to the beach, but is very close (100 M walk ). breakfast was very nice.

Our experience wasn’t so good at all. The AC was broken and they didn’t even bother to fix it. The area surrounding the hotel was too crowded that we couldn’t even find a parking spot. When we asked whether they arrange trips, one of the employees recommended someone (who turned out to be her husband) to arrange them for us. However, he kept asking us to walk all the way to his office (far from the hotel) instead of having a car to pick us up, which was very annoying and inconvenient!

Well renovated hotel with friendly staff

This hotel has been renovated a few years ago. I stayed in the Design Room and room size is enough for a three stars hotels. Everthing was fine.

Nice hotel close to beach and center

Wasn't like pictures but was good enough and friendly staff who make the hotel more interesting, only the problem is the name of hotel nobody knows under name JDW has to be call jahn de wit , this hotel is in good area and not far to anywhere. Room was clean and all of facilities were new. Breakfast was awesome and has a lot of options to choose

Cosy hotel excellently located

Wonderful stay at Marmaris! The JDW is a very clean, newly decorated and perfectly located medium sized hotel. Close enough to all what you need and to the beach ; still far enough to relax and sleep calmly at night. Rooms are a little bit small but very confortable. I would reccomend it to all those who like both calm days and classy animated nights since it is at the very heart of the unforgettable Marmaris!

handy location. New, modern, clean & lovely pool

Loved it here. No frills, no loud music, no one hassles you. Just come & go as you please & staff are polite and helpful, rooms clean & modern albeit 'compact' & loved the pool and had a beautiful salad at lunchtime.Think I should have got 15% off food & drink & not sure I did - but will still go back.

Good location, good design, friendly staff, clean room

Nice place, but end of season.

The hotel was new, had been recently decorated and was spotlessly clean. The decor was nice, and the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The free upgrade to a suite was very gratefully received. However it was the end of the season which meant that the offerings at breakfast were very sparse, and there was no room service or evening meal. The small touches were nice, although I would recommend that the towels be kept in the bathroom, as the petals and towel sculptures felt very 2 star.

If sleeping in a nightclub is your idea of fun...

Where to start with our disappointing experience at the JDW Design Hotel? Excessive noise...the floor was vibrating... from a wedding being held in the hotel until early in the morning (when we asked how long the music would be going for, the manager on duty said 'relax, it's a celebration!') no wifi and frequent power outages. The room was postage stamp sized...baring no relation to the photographs on the website and tripadvisor. We were issued wristbands on arrival and told to 'wear them at all times'. Considering this a hotel and not a music festival we declined. We believe this is a security measure to stop party folk from bringing home extra guests....I suppose this reflects the neighbourhood. We’ve booked our Turkey holiday with Hotels.com and have been really happy with every hotel bar this one. We are very disappointed with the service that we received from JDW Hotel, it certainly didn’t live up to the expected experience. It put a dampener on our stay and we are pursuing a refund. I'd recommend avoiding this hotel if you aren't into neon, bad attitudes and intermittent power services.
