Amazing resort with amazing service it will be not the last time

Amazing Makadi Short vacation

Amazing stay with my frind and his family , only Buffet need some upgrades, especially the desserts, at all thank you Jaz Saraya Resort

I recently stayed at the Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort with my family, occupying 4 rooms. Upon arrival, I declared my two kids, knowing that two children under 12 stay free. However, Mr. Mahmoud, the assistant front desk manager, insisted I upgrade to a family room, claiming my booking only allowed two adults and one child. Despite my youngest being just 5 years old and there being no significant difference between the rooms, I was forced to pay the upgrade. I later discovered that other guests who didn’t declare their kids had no issues and were not charged extra. Mr. Mahmoud was inflexible and maintained a fake smile throughout the process. Another front desk staff member, also named Abanoub, appeared unfriendly and only smiled at foreign guests.I also noticed deliberate reductions in air conditioning in both the reception bar and restaurant, making these areas uncomfortably hot. The lighting in the reception bar was dimmed, seemingly to discourage guests from staying too long and consuming more food and beverages.The animation team has declined compared to previous years, lacking the expertise of former members like Shams. They now pressure guests to write positive Google reviews on the spot and even take photos to send to their management.On the positive side, Mr. Mahmoud Takey, the front desk manager, resolved an issue for another room in our group, and Abanoub, a waiter in the reception bar, was always helpful and smiling. Abd El Masseh, a waiter is also perfect

Not a five star hotel

Neach is amazing for swimming and. Snorkling . The food quality was good other than this nothing is good Rooms although very clean but old and bathrooms are old as well as furniture, the sofa bed not comfy ar all, the airconditions in the room are very old and very noisy The air-conditioning not working in restaurants so we were eating all swetong as it was so hot The beach is far from the hotel about 1 km walk and to our surprise there was no shuttle or golf car so wd had to walk in 42 degrees to reach the beach which is very hard for children and old people The restaurant on the beach serving only fast food and the same everyday which was very frustrating for all of us burger shawerma and pizza, if you want a change like pasta or vegetables you have to go to the main restaurant which is 1 km going and another back in this extremely hot weather so we could not do it In general i would never go again

Great staff and very safe environment for families with young children

All the workers were wonderful and did everything to make my family and I very happy. And Elrahman and Talaat were very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Best place in Hurghada

Absolutely love this resort!! Second time staying here and I highly recommend. The customer service is A+ from the entire team. They go out of there way to please you. Lots of great entertainment and buffet has great variety. Love their loyalty program of name plaques after 5 returned visits. Everything you need is in this village resort. Numerous pools, spa, playground, shopping, shisha cafe, bars and restaurants and I absolutely LOVE their commitment to the environment. The Makadi Water park is the best aqua park I have ever been too!! You must stay at this place!!

A quiet break

Very nice staff. A nice variety of food. We stayed at the quiet pool and it was excellent.

Great resort. Lovely beach. Lovely food and staff

The hotel is great and the staff is very cooperative however, hotel management is totally uncooperative. Never try to approach the reception to solve a problem for you .. they are powerless and the general manager is not cooperative! If you decide to go there, you will enjoy staff hospitality but try to avoid contacting the front desk.

The Check in process was awesome, and informative... They did confuse is for German, and just kept giving us German language everything... That want a biggie.... Once we got to the room that's where the 5 stars started too droop...Air Conditioning barely cooled.... As long as you didn't move around... Shower pressure was not existent.... The way pool towels are done is not good... Your given 2 for your room to change out by leaving them in the room.. The additional towels by the pools, aren't cleaned fresh and are just cycled.... Lots of things that aren't inclusive dangled infront of you... This is a 2 star masquerading as a 5 star... Definitely focus audience is Russian and Eastern European tourists...

we stayed 8 nights in this hotel , I was pleasantly surprised to find out how efficient and helpful the staff were ,not to mention the cleanliness of the room and the grounds .the food was very good ,and the animation team were excellent especially with children . I can't fault it ,the only disappointment was the so called WIFI in the room ,if they can rectify that ,I would say it one of the most enjoyable hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in 5 star hotels in different parts of the world.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Great choice of food, very safe and secure resort. Shopping onsight. Loads of children activities. Morgan freeman shop 44 great man who was very welcoming and gave excellent price for our shopping.

A lot of improvement needed.

Could have had better food variety. The entertainment team had a day off on Thursday so the kids were bored, why not stagger the days off? The reception at checking in was aweful, did not explain anything at all. Check out was even worse as they would not let my transfer car into the complex, told to get a mini-bus which goes to te waterpark. When we were walking away Mustapha called us back outside and phoned security to let the car in. Communication was generally poor. Towels at the pool side were re-used as well as in the waterpark, my friend was given a wet one! Got a dodgy stomach when I ate at the beach. On a side note the airport toilets are dirty, no toilet paper, take your own. Take snacks too as the food is over priced.

Felt very safe and staff are friendly

Egypt have really upped their game on security and the airport security is also as good as anywhere. Great resort beach or pool. Special thanks to the guy who cleaned our room 5301 every day and every day made an animal out of a towel & flower petals.

I don't usually review hotels unless I am very pleased or very disappointed. This time I am definitely pleased. The hotel is very nice (it is in a complex of 13 total hotels). The rooms were clean, spacious and fresh. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and felt that the temperature was just perfect (first half of September). The food was tasty and the hotel staff was amazing - very professional and helpful and they tried very hard to make us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back if we have the chance to visit Hurghada again.

Excellent and comfortable stay at Jaz Makadi Saraya. It was a wonderful, all inclusive experience where I didn't have to worry about anything and was able to relax really well.

friendly hotel staff, the meals not as usual , cleanliness of the hotel, well-groomed territory, nice beach, staff is always ready to help, discreet services, well-conducted service, room cleaning was excellent. It is a great hotel for holidays!

Iberotel makadi saraya

It was our second visit to makadi saraya , and it did not disappoint at all . The the hotel is superb , very clean and has lovely well cared for gardens . The rooms are suites with kitchens , tea& coffee making facilities , microwave , small cooker . The food was also very good , something to eat even for the priciest eaters. The staff at the resort are superb , very pleasant and well mannered. I would stay again , no problem . Well done makadi saraya, :))

perfect holiday

Actually this s the second time on this hotel , I liked the place where there s a lot of things to do everywhere in the place . Food is not an issue as of high quality with much variety for everyone.

One of the best hotels I have every stayed in and all the stuff were more than helpful..

Sehr schöne und ruhige Anlage. Das Meer ist nur etwa 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, und das Korallenriff befindet sich praktisch direkt vor der Haustür – einfach fantastisch!

Hôtel très propre, le service est impeccable, les personnels sont aux petits soin et très sympatique. Le seul point négatif c’est la nourriture.

Very clean. Very polite. Nice room. Wonderful pool and garden. AC in the kidsclub is very cold. Wifi is bad. They try to work on it until summer. Water bottles for the room/the night. You get it via housekeeping. If it’s empty, it‘s difficult to get new ones until your room gets cleaned again. Pharmacy. You need to check carefully what they sell. Needed something for a 1 year old baby. They told us this article is from first day on. That was not true. In the leaflet it was mentioned to be dangerous for children below 2 years. We threw it away then.

Tres bel hôtel, d’une propreté irréprochable et avec un grand sens du service. A cinq minutes de marche de la plage. Avec le all inclusive, on a accès à un repas dans un des 4 restaurants du site. Plutôt sympa. Le all inclusive en général est pas mal, beaucoup de choix et c’est bon. Les cocktails ne sont pas fameux mais ca passe
