Lovely Traditonial Hotel
Recent 7 day stay at this lovely traditional Indian house/hotel. Lovely pool area and gardens. Out of town but was a huge advantage to be away from the noise and mayhem. Easy to get a tuktuk or taxi into town. Staff, without exception, helpful and always cheerful. Highlight was the food, cooked to order and never disappointed. We only had indian food but plenty other choices. We ate in restaurant every night as it was too daunting to venture into town at night and never saw anywhere else suitable to dine.
Our favourite stay during our 4 weeks travelling around India. Beautiful building and grounds with high quality rooms and facilities. A highly professional team look after you with a natural ease and confidence built on over 20 years of welcolming guests into their home. I will be recommending this lovely place to my friends and family and hopefully will return one day.
Wonderful home away from home
Loved my stay - the hotel has the highest cleanliness standards, wonderful service, a welcoming and authentically Indian ambiance, and the food is some of the best you will have in India. I’ve stayed at budget and luxury hotels both across India and Jaipur, but I keep coming back here - it never disappoints.
This is a beautiful little place with a friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful place just that room #101 is next to kitchen so little less privacy for that I rate 4 stars. But worth staying here to experience the beautiful villa, ensure to have a different room.
The hospitality here is second to none. Lovely quiet oasis near the city palace and Amer Fort. Would definitely stay again!
Calm and tranquil oasis in the new city. Beautifully decorated and kept property with great garden and pool. Spacious clean and tidy rooms. Friendly and relaxed service from all staff. Great on-site restaurant. Breakfast cooked to order which was a nice touch. Manager booked us good value transport to the old city. Would thoroughly recommend.
Very nice hotel with beautiful grounds. Breakfast was also enjoyable. The shower would be my only complaint, it ha poor water pressure and wasn't the warmest
I have stayed here whenever I visit Jaipur from the US. The service is impeccable as is the property. This is ultimate Indian hospitality. From the furnishings and textiles to the food and general service, Jas Vilas is a stunning place and the only place for a quiet and luxurious stay in Jaipur.
tres calme et ravissant
Beautiful place, charming rooms, very well-run. Very good food, too, prepared fresh with a little advance notice. Liked the warm Indian music in the mornings; wished the evening music were of the same type. A minor quibble! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
An excellent family own and run hotel in Jaipur. The attention to the facilities and
This place felt like home! My favorite stay in a 21 day adventure in India. The accommodations were fantastic, the gardens and terraces were so welcoming that every evening the guests would sit outside and converse with each other over a cocktail and relax. The staff was very professional, kind and helpful. The family that owns and operates it were so friendly and made sure that each guests was well taken care of. We felt like company invited to their home. I would absolutely recommend.
Excellent stay, Beautiful rooms, very quaint place. Location great. Food is OK for Indian, but way too much oil/butter used. Need to learn to cook with less oil.
It was a pleasant stay, the rooms were in satisfactory condition, the food was good, but the pool was too cold, heating the pool in the busiest travel season so tourists can enjoy, would make me want to come back to this hotel. Good value, good location, but not the best in the area.
A wonderful hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at Jas Vilas. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful; the room was comfortable and well appointed; and the restaurant was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Very nice and quiet hotel, clean, excellent hotel staff and management, I would recommend to stay there when visiting Jaipur.
Excellent hotel and amenities. Super staff and fabulous food, pea and mushroom dish - sounds boring but delicious.
Lovely hotel with great staff and service! The room was very spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great - made to order and served by the pool. We booked the hotel driver to take us to the sights over two days - very friendly with good recommendations. We'd definitely stay again.
A very pretty & elegant hotel & the room was perfectly ok. The pool is rather decorative & accessed through tables of diners which is a bit odd & the towel promised to me didnt materialise so I slopped my way up 3 flights of stairs to my room - easy to slip on the marble floors. Breakfast is uninspiring & I cannot comment on dinner as we ate elsewhere. Location is just off the busy MI road so quite noisy at the front of the hotel & it is not set in very large grounds so it doesnt feel like a little oasis in the midst of hustle & bustle like our other city hotels have felt like. Easy access however for the old city as the MI road is the main artery in (& the main shopping road) - we walked to the city walls & it took us an hour. This is too expensive for what it is; we had better value from Ratan Vilas in Jodhpur which I can highly recommend. The packed breakfast of sandwiches, boiled eggs & fruit due to an early start was a nice touch though!
A hidden gem in Jaipur
Amazing and beautiful hotel. This is a hidden gem in Jaipur. The owners are extremely friendly too. I love the hotel, the polite staff, the cleanliness, the pool and the food. Everything about this place is superb. Simply fantastic.
Fantastic, awesome, amazing, beautiful
Jas Vilas is just a superb place to be. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the owners are fantastic, the staff are so attentive that you can describe, the rooms are spectacular and very clean, the food is (oh my god) tasty and the overall feel of this hotel is just amazing. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel as its simply awesome.
Very peaceful, authentic property. Staff treat you like family. A little far away from the sites but that's not a bad thing.
Tranquil Paradise in Jaipur
A family run boutique hotel set in a quiet heritage building - this is important in noisy chaotic Jaipur. Flawless service - even made special gluten free things for me. The fruit salads were sensational - every morning. Highly recommended and great for business people as you can work in your room easily and get a good night's sleep. June is the low season so the hotel had few guests - which was good for me.
Wonderful homely Jas Vilas
We had a lovely stay - its an oasis of calm with helpful and kind staff in a pretty setting.
Great hotel bags of characte
Very different from the normal formula hotel. Lots of charm and the hand painted walls and ceilings make it truly unique.
Worth a visit
Really a treat in the middle of indian trip, only issue was a lame breakfast and no hot water late at night, fine next morning.
Beautiful boutique hotel.
Jas Vilas is an oasis. It is quiet, intimate, with an outstanding staff. The level of comfort and service were beyond our expectation, including being personally escorted to the ATM by the security staff. The dining room is charming. Our friends came over from their hotel to join us for dinner. The food was excellent.
Jas Vilas was the perfect affordable stay in Jaipur. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was delightful! Only room for improvement would be that the rooms were a bit old, but definitely clean so it didn't bother us at all. Great stay!
Jas Villas in Jaipur
This was a very well maintained hotel with great food. The service was great. The only drawback is that there is not much within walking distance to the hotel -- however taxis are plentiful and the whole town in a short taxi ride away.
Jas Vilas - Older Style comfortable hotel
The accommodation was older style. The property is beautifully painted & has a wonderful garden & pool area. The food was good, although the menu was not extensive. The hot water to our room took about 5-10 minutes to come through. The hotel asks that tips be provided in one lot at the end of the stay so that it can be equally shared amongst the staff, so I hope this is the case.
Great Hotel without
Fantastic boutique hotel with great garden and pool area.
second time \I have stayed at this hotel. Still as well run and comfortable two years later. A lovely oasis from the business of the city. We loved poolside at the end of the day, the late evening drink poolside, the easy service and the helpfulness of the staff. They helped when we could not get an overnight train booking for Udaipur. Would go again in a minute. great food too!
An oasis of calm and gentleness in busy Jaipur.
This is one of the best places to stay in Jaipur. Lovely gardens and flowers around the pool. The food is excellent and a spotlessly clean kitchen. The staff are very nice and cheerful. I feel lucky to have found this wonderful hotel. It is a joy to stay here when I come here for business and I need a place to relax after a busy day. My husband just joined me here for a few days of holiday and understood why I only stay here . It is very pleasant. The owners really take care of all the details that make this a perfect hotel in Jaipur.
Really loved, Jas Villas. We had the choice of two rooms, both were lovely. Thought every thing was very well styled, staff were great & everything was spotless. Also very convenient as we arrived by train and it's right near the station. The government run tour also starts near by.
Amazing experience
Amazing experience. most highly recommended
Very pleasant stay at reasonable price.
Truly it has been a very pleasant experience. Hotel is clean and convenient.
Quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. Kind, small staff.
Oasis in the vigor of Jaipur
We had several fine brief conversations with the owner about the election and South Bend. He ws welcoming to my sister and her family who had been staying at another hotel.
a quiet oasis in boisterous Jaipur
Hotel Jasvilas is tucked away behind a stuccoed wall alongside a very noisy highway, and yet once you are on the hotel grounds the sounds of the city melt away. The hotel started out as a private home to which the family added beautifully designed additions with balconies leaning out over a lovely turquoise swimming pool and manicured garden. The balustrades are entwined with bougainvillea, the walls are painted with delicate designs and mirrored tile work reminiscent of what you might see in an old Mughal palace. The meals are served poolside (except when the weather doesn't permit, then they are served in the elegant formal dining room complete with dark red Venetian glass chandeliers) and the food is really great; traditional Indian dishes, both vegetarian and options containing chicken or mutton, as well as European comfort food such as spaghetti and my daughter's favorite - crepes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating - you can order meals anytime of day between 7:00am and 11:00pm (great for those first couple of days when jet lag turns your internal clock topsy-turvy.) The front office staff seems to be made up mostly of members of the family and their sense of pride in their hotel is palpable; several are fluent in English, German and other languages and they are able to help organize tours, train travel, and even booking taxis for a full day's adventures. My room was spare but immaculate and absolutely quiet, a haven from the excitement of Jaipur.
Old world charm. Pure delight
What a privilege to stay at Jas villas. The home home exudes old world charm, warmth & hospitality. The attention to detail is magnificent- each fresco is perfectly restored, the interior opulent and beautifully decorated. Our room was light, large and very comfortable with every need met. The owners and staff were equally friendly and helpful and our breakfast outside in the garden/pool area was such a treat. Also the most delicious chai!!! Thank you Jas villas for having us.
3 day stay at Jas Vilas in August
Very attentive staff. We arrived late and were offered food. We didn't take them up on their offer but had a drink. Free bottled water was provided on arrival, but no tea/coffee making facilities. The wifi was not very good which was frustrating. A nice small peaceful hotel but compared to prices of other hotels I thought it wasn't good value for money. We stayed at Jas Vilas due to high ratings of other guests so were slightly disappointed
Wonderful place, secluded, feels like a haven. Gteat staff, friendly and helpful.
Everything as it should be
Jas Villas is a truly wonderful place to stay that enhances any visit to Jaipur. While there are challenges with traffic, crowds, climate and the characters of street life, this place provides a magnificent refuge and haven to escape. The grounds, garden and pool are so picturesque. The beautiful tiered balconies and colonial character rooms provide wonderful comfort. Above all, these wonderful hospitable hosts maintain a gracious atmosphere that is difficult to find anywhere. 10/10 Thankyou,
Jas Vilas is a quiet oasis in hectic Jaipur
Jas Vilas was a gem! After spending most of our trip to India in major hotels, it was nice to get the small B&B experience. The room was large and comfortable, the food was excellent (the breakfasts were simple but scrumptious), the owners were so friendly, and the staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming and wouldn’t accept our tips (you can leave tips at the front office to be shared across the entire staff… nice touch after being harassed to tip everywhere). I wish we spent more time in Jaipur because I would have liked staying here longer. It was nice to spend some quiet time in the courtyard away from the constant hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend.
You feel at home
Fab property. Well maintained. Staff very courteous and as mentioned even though it's not a home stay but the feeling here is very homely
Excellent small hotel for a great stay in Jaipur
I chose this hotel based on the reviews on Hotels.com. I was drawn to fact that it was small, family run, and an oasis in the city. All of these things were true, and I appreciated the splendid stay that I had here. It was relaxing and reinvigorating. The staff were very helpful and friendly - nothing seemed to be too much for them. The building and the garden are very nice and full of character. I felt screened off from the busy city and the busy road that passes outside. It is a charming hotel, in all of the very best senses of the word. One note: unlike everywhere else I stayed in India there was one tip box at the hotel, and you were free to leave a tip if you wanted to. This meant that the 'pressure' that us westerners feel when people always have their hands out was relieved. I really appreciated that and it added to the relaxation of my stay. I didn't ask for the hotel to arrange any trips or tourism for me, but they said that they would if I needed it. I stayed at five hotels on my trip to India, and this was the one I enjoyed the most.
Delightful Jaipur hotel
The staff was very helpful. Our room was large, very clean and cheerful with a large bathroom . I had also booked a single for my son. His room was very clean and comfortable but very small.
The best in India so far
Hi I found myself staying a few nights over December at jas villas. My 5 week stay in India is not finished but I can already say that jas villas was the best experience in terms of hospitality and service I have had in India. The hotel is a little courtyard haven in the very busy, sometimes overwhelming heart of Jaipur. I especially appreciated the warmth and special care our hosts displayed during our stay, which is extremely refreshing among offerings that are too often impersonal and commercial. We have been to a range of hotels from 3 star to 5 star, but jas villas represents for me the optimal way one should travel. Thank you!
Beautiful botique hotel with amazing character
This hotel is amazing - it's proximity to the main road is excellent for transport but amazingly isn't noisy at all. The moment you step in to the hotel you will be blown away on how stunning the layout is - a stunning pool right next to the dining area / kitchen and all the rooms face the pool. There is a mini balcony area outside each room before the pool, with some having a table and chairs. The food is really tasty also - all made fresh on site. The service also is really top notch - they seriously go above and beyond for you. The rooms are spacious, clean, large bathroom with walk in shower and western style toilets. I cannot recomment this place enough.
