lovely
one of the most romantic, quiet, beautiful places I have been. Food was simple and good, but expensive for what it was. one or two more choices would have been great.
This place was amazing. We loved the property, and our cabana. We had fun riding bikes over to the blue hole park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Jungle stay
Beautiful resort in a beautiful setting. Fantastic service and good food.
Fabulous spot
Truly wonderful place to stay, with lovely staff. Overall very clean but mummified frogs in our room and our friends' room, which management should have removed, even though they were trapped between screen and window.
Wonderful property in the jungle. Tubing in the creek was a must as it’s very hot. Make sure you’re prepared for no A/C.
The staff, service and facilities are exactly what we were looking for in our jungle portion of the trip to Belize. Howler monkeys could be heard from close by, beautifully cut into the forest and overall an excellent couple of days here!
Birds and Howler Monkeys were amazing. Staff was great.
Wonderful gardens lovely people serene environment comfortable cabins a do over for us
We went there when we couldn’t fly out because of a hurricane. They were wonderful people and great food and drinks. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful place and experience!
Beautiful walking trail and river togo tubing. Beautiful grounds. During the walk thru, we were told not to hike because it was wet (???) but don't let it stop you, we did and it was a great hike. Staff initially was a bit mechanical, didn't seem to be too enthused to be there but it got better as time went on. The place could use a bit more of a local feel, ie local music in the dining area and outside around the firepit. Missed having a porch to sit outside. Room was great otherwise.
Nice experience
Great people and very quiet and relaxing.
The free usage of the bicycles.
Beautiful grounds. Plenty of nature.
This property is why I love to travel. If you're coming to Belize, you should absolutely stay here at least a couple nights. The pictures don't do it justice - you feel like you're on an adventure while you're on site, and it's just a cool atmosphere and experience. A true jungle getaway, the cabins are simple but beautiful, with local art and very comfortable bedding and great water pressure in the shower. The property is stunning - surrounded by nature, with huge trees and palms and a great layout, including two different places to swim in the creek, a hiking area, dining room, and play area including an amazing large carved chess set. And then the staff - they are all so lovely and friendly and welcoming, using our names with care and really demonstrating what local hospitality can be. We ate breakfast and dinner on the property both nights/mornings of our stay, and the food was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The highlight of the trip was sitting on our back patio at night, looking up at the stars and listening to the jungle. 10 of 10 would recommend and will hopefully return here one day!
The plants, trees, birds, sounds of the creek, and all around beauty made this resort an amazing stay. You really do feel like you are one with nature here. Waking up to howler monkeys was an interesting start to the day. The food was great amd the staff was kind and helpful.
Beautiful rooms and outside areas. In the morning and evenings there are hummingbirds all over the property. The staff was very helpful and even arranged for a drop off at the bus stop.
The property is beautiful and the staff are very kind. Going to sleep with the sound of howler monkeys was an amazing experience. We also loved swimming in the beautiful creek. Only issue people might want to prepare for is the dining options. We were only offered one option for dinner and breakfast and the portions were very small. For some I’m sure it’s fine, but we were traveling with three teenage boys and they were still very hungry after dinner. Dinner also was $20/pp, which was our most expensive meal in Belize.
Nestled in the cave tunnel region near St Herman’s Cave and the (interior) blue hole, Jaguar Creek, a non-profit regional supporting organization, is a birder/gardener paradise! Carlos, Ari and Evan will make sure you are well looked after including enjoying the outstanding meals in the restaurant above the water rapids of the stream.
Staff are exceptional! Bungalows are beautiful and clean.
Excellent location, beautiful location, several eco opportunities nearby and within 1hr
This property provides a lovely retreat. The beautiful natural setting provides a wonderful restorative environment. The meals provided were delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice! Jaguar Creek also provides many activities to enjoy. Allow time to enjoy this property as well as the nearby adventures.
Beautiful property in the rainforest.
Beautiful property. Staff is very polite and professional. Other guests were pleasant during my stay as well. Would definitely stay again.
The staff were very nice. Breakfast was delicious. The amenities in the room were nice. The flower pedals throughout the room were a nice touch.
If you want something primitive and not the resort vibe this is the place for you. One night was enough for me but I would go back again. Not often you get to wake up to holler monkeys
Beautiful property, comfortable and exotic cabanas, friendly and very helpful staff. Loved every minute we were there!
very good. only problem was absence of a fridge
The place is a wonderful jungle lodge with a lovely stream to refresh in. The setting is gorgeous and the property well maintained
Perfection
We loved it! It was perfect for us in every way.
Beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Good food at a reasonable price. A gem in the jungle!
Jungle heaven
Incredible setting and great Eco credentials
location to attraction and Belmopan
Liked the rooms open to the outside (with screens.) Beautiful, relaxing, nice people
Paradise creek
We were welcomed so warmly by Carlo and Daryl. The grounds are stunning and the cabanas are so cute. Really comfy bed and sheets! Good shower/bathroom area. The food for dinner was so delicious and good value for us as we were on a budget. They also catered easily to my dietary needs. Access to free tubing was a great plus and so near to the national park. Only negative was no fridge to keep our own drinks cool but then that’s better for the environment and hotel fridges are often loud! We had a car and drove there (wasn’t a 4x4) the property offered shuttles though and free bikes to get to the national park. Would stay again and recommend to anyone!
My family and I had a wonderful time here. It was such a unique experience staying in the rain forest. My teenage daughters loved using the inner tubes and floating down the creek. We enjoyed the meals too. Our cave tubing / zip lining adventure was great.
This is an amazing property. Grounds are beyond beautiful. Accommodations are gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful property with very nice staff! I would come here again in a New York minute.
This property has very high quality customer service initiatives for Belize. They aim to please and take care of you. Our boys enjoyed the swimming and tubing available on-site, as well as the trails available on-site. They are happy to schedule tours for you as well, or you can borrow bikes to cross the street to St. Herman's National Park with Cave tubing and swimming in the Blue Hole. Great food and service, we were very impressed. One note though, these are rustic jungle lodges with eco-mind set, no AC, but provide mosquito netting for beds - we slept great, but each to their own. Only noise disruptions here are the howler monkeys!
A Paradise!
Our stays at Jaguar Creek are always magnificent. The staff is amazing and feel like family. I can't believe how much we miss this place when we leave!!
The property was beautiful! Very clean and manicured. Natural environment, quiet. Feels like you are really out in nature with the sounds of the animals. The only con was the lack of internet. Could not check in for flights or confirm activities.
AMAZING
What an AMAZING place. Arileni was VERY efficient and helpful, and the reason that I will return in the future. Her responses to my emails was also the reason that I booked an additional night on this visit. The staff was excellent.
Amazing place. Nice staff. Lots of activities walking distance. Highly recommend
This property is amazing! Lush, quiet, quaint, friendly. It is somewhat “off-grid” so plan for no internet or air conditioning, but it didn’t alter my decision to stay there. Would definitely go back!
this resort was delightful. Very helpful staff. Went beyond to help me keep my insulin cool. Daytime temps were hot but cooled down at night to high 70's for great sleeping weather. Booked tours of Carocol and Xunanatich with the resort and were very happy with the tours. Very unique setting and surroundings. Food was above average for BZE.
If you are looking for an authentic jungle stay, this is the place. The staff were amazing , very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and visited St Herman’s cave and the inner blue hole. We used the tubes offered on the property and did the short ride down the creek. The flora and fauna are beautiful here. It’s quite noisy at night with all the jungle critters chirping . The windows only have screens and curtains. The one negative is no air conditioning. They do have standing fans but it’s still pretty hot at night. Ceiling fans would be a perfect solution here. Overall, we had a great experience .
We stayed at Jungle Creek the last 2 nights of our week long vacation in Belize. It is definitely relaxing and what I would consider a "spiritual retreat". There is no wi-fi. The meals are served family style-whatever is made is what you eat though they do cater to allergies and dietary restrictions. We wanted more authentic meals and options. You are in the jungle so there will be bugs. The windows have curtains over screens so you do hear all the noises from the jungle. Unfortunately, don't count on hot water, it lasted maybe 4 minutes. The bungalows were comfortable though. It was a unique experience and don't regret booking here but probably would not suggest staying for more than a couple of nights.
Tranquility in the Jungle with a kind and caring staff, nature is everywhere and tubing on property!!! We wish we could have had more time here (only stayed our last night). We will not return to Belize without stopping here again for a few days next time!!
When traveling to Belize…..Jacquar Creek is a must stay
This was a beautiful property and such a unique experience to stay in the Belizean jungle. Our bungalow was beautiful. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
Pure Nature
The best place in Belmopan to disconnect from your day-to-day life in the city. A place where you and your family can enjoy the beauty of nature. The service is excellent and the people are the best. Mama J, Franklin, Francisco, Carlos and Edwind go out of their way to accommodate any of your requirements. We had the opportunity to eat all the typical Belizean dishes thanks to Mama J who cooks them for us. I love the place we would go again

Jaguar Creek was a beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay on our vacation! It was centrally located, so the drive to see other places around the country was reasonable. The inland blue hole cenote and cave system was within a mile, and tours could be easily scheduled. We had a lovely cabin that was intentionally cleaned and decorated with flower petals in the bathroom and on the queen bed with towel swans to welcome us. The staff was friendly and welcoming too! They gave us a tour around the property after our check in so we were comfortable and confident navigating our way around. The walkways were surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers and trees which maintained the feeling of walking through the rain forest, and there were a couple of outdoor fireplaces to enjoy the evenings after dinner. The restaurant staff were very attentive and professional and the food was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed each meal that was prepared and served to us. The food at the restaurant was the best we had on our holiday. The staff were also accommodating if you needed anything prepared differently. The river tubing was fun and refreshing. The water was clear and you can see fish swimming beneath you as you float along. A great way to cool off on those hot days! The deck overlooked the river and had loungers for relaxing after tubing. There were a lot of different kinds of birds and we could occasionally hear the howler monkeys! We definitely recommend staying here.
